Afghan Government had previously announced their delegations, with expectation of holding Intra-Afghan talks in upcoming days in DOHA.
Previously, the talks were to begin earlier this month but Afghanistan’s refusal on the release of six detainees and the rise of violence by the Taliban hampered the process.
[KhaamaPress] The United States of America offers $5 Million bounty for any information leading to Mark Randall Frerichs and Paul Edwin Overby, Jr. kidnapping, who went unknown in Afghanistan.
The reward is for any information leading to their location, recovery and return.
"The U.S. Department of State’s Diplomatic Security Service, through its Rewards for Justice (RFJ) office, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation are advertising reward offers of up to $5 million for information concerning the kidnappings of Mark Randall Frerichs and Paul Edwin Overby, Jr. who both disappeared in Afghanistan," said US Department of States on a statement Wednesday.
"Overby was last seen in Khost, Afghanistan, near the border with Pakistain, in mid-May of 2014," according to the statement. At the time of his disappearance, he was conducting research for a book he was writing and it appeared that he planned to cross the border into Pakistain in furtherance of his work."
While, Mark Frerichs was kidnapped in early February 2020. At the time of his kidnapping, "he resided in Kabul."
"He moved to Afghanistan in approximately 2010 and worked on construction projects throughout the country," the statement read.
Mali’s military junta said they have released ousted President Ibrahim Keita who had been detained since the coup last Tuesday.
The junta, which calls itself the National Committee for the Salvation of the People (CNSP), has been controlling Mali since August 18 when they arrested Mr. Keita and forced. He was then detained.
Note the timestamp on the article below. Given the information available at the time, there is no excuse for the gaping holes in the story.
Any ideas about what details might be added to a more balanced story and which "details" in the story should be left out?
These kind of "reporters" should be publicly flogged while the real story is read to the audience.

[Yahoo] Friends and family remembered two men shot dead while attending protests Tuesday night for Jacob Blake, a Black man shot in the back Sunday by a Kenosha, Wisconsin, police officer.
Police arrested and charged 17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse with murder in the shooting of several people at the protest. Two men were killed, and a third was seriously injured.
Huber, 26, was from the Silver Lake community in Kenosha County, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported. An avid skateboarder, Huber was "really sweet" and "really friendly," friends told the newspaper.
"He was one of the most amazing people," Huber’s girlfriend, Hannah Gittings, said at a gathering Wednesday night near the location where he was killed. "He took down an armed gunman with nothing but his fucking skateboard, and he took that fucking bullet."
A GoFundMe page has gone up to support Gittings and her daughter.
Gittings posted on Facebook asking people to "skate as hard as you can" in Huber’s memory. Mourners gathered at a local skatepark Huber frequented, the Chicago Sun-Times reported.
Rosenbaum, a 36-year-old father, lived in Kenosha, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported. Rosenbaum originally came from Texas and is survived by his fiancee and 2-year-old daughter.
Rosenbaum, known by friends and family as "Jojo," was a jokester and "loved his daughter very much," his sister told the Chicago Sun-Times.

Grosskreutz, 26, was shot in the arm Tuesday and is recovering in the hospital, the Journal Sentinel reported. A resident of West Allis, Wisconsin, Grosskreutz was at the protest with the social justice group the People’s Revolution Movement.

Friends told Milwaukee TV station WTMJ that Grosskreutz was a volunteer medic at Tuesday’s protest and had also been at other Black Lives Matter protests over the summer. Other friends launched a GoFundMe page to raise money for his medical costs.
Rittenhouse had expressed his love of guns and police on his Facebook profile, which has been taken down. It was full of "Blue Lives Matter" and other pro-police slogans. He was also reportedly a onetime police cadet.
Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul on Wednesday identified the police officer who shot Blake as Rusten Sheskey. Sheskey shot Blake in the back while Blake was getting into his car.
Blake is still in the hospital and is paralyzed below the waist, his family said.

Anthony Huber, 26, was shot & killed in Kenosha, Wisc. at the BLM riot. He was filmed chasing down the armed teen and hitting him when he was on the ground with a skateboard. He has a criminal history that includes charges of battery & repeat domestic abuse.

They left out the part where Rosenbaum is a pederast, Blake had a knife, Grosskreutz had a gun and a hat labeling him as a paramedic that he was using as a stalking horse trying to shoot Kyle. I believe Huber decided he was going to teach Kyle a lesson and decided to attack him for no reason, too.

More lies - here's the Atlantic's Elaine Godfrey, blatantly lying about Rittenhouse the "armed vigilante" while his attacker Grosekreutz is an "armed citizen."
Count all the lies omissions and distortions in these two paragraphs:
"The killings in Kenosha, Wisconsin, represent an alarming escalation of the fight over police violence that has consumed the country this summer: It wasn’t an agent of the state who shot two Americans dead this week. Instead, an American man turned his weapon on other civilians during a protest—and law enforcement let him walk right by them and out of town. Police and political leaders have failed for years to take the actions necessary to prevent this kind of violence. Without serious, sustained intervention, more bloodshed could soon follow.
"Late Tuesday night, a young white man with an AR-15-style rifle slung over his shoulder sprinted down a darkened street. He had, according to the narrative later pieced together from cellphone footage, just shot a person in the head and left them to bleed out in the parking lot of a car dealership. As he ran, a scattered group of people gave chase, and he fired at them, hitting at least one. A bystander called out to the police stationed at the end of the block: “Hey, dude right here shot them!” Yet the officers did nothing. The dead and wounded were white people. No riots sparked, no attributable looting or civil disturbances. Give it 48 hours perhaps less, it'll be in the media memory hole.

To their credit NYT journalists actually pieced together a play by play from live-streamed video and didn't doctor it. Surprise: Kyle obviously acted in self defense. Doubt this even comes to trial
