Florida deputy stops rental truck carrying boat, finds more than 30 Cuban migrants inside

#1  The migrants ILLEGAL Immigrants were turned over to U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Which was likely already issued orders from DC, to quietly release them and presented each with a seldom Honored ORDER TO APPEAR notice.

Given the OPENNESS the DC Socialcrats are treating our borders ....

It almost like they are trying to help facilitate the drug cartels, Human and Sex traffickers and/or a Terrorist Group attack leading up to the Socialcrat do or die election year.

No charges against marshals in Uptown shooting of Winston Boogie Smith
[STARTRIBUNE] The undercover officers who fatally shot Winston Boogie Smith Jr.
...who doesn’t look in his early thirties in that photo...
in a vehicle atop an Uptown Minneapolis parking ramp last summer won't face criminal charges because Smith drew a handgun on them and fired, the Crow Wing County attorney announced Monday.

"Though I am unable to determine who fired first, it is irrelevant in this case," Crow Wing County Attorney Donald Ryan wrote in a letter to Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman dated Oct. 6, but released Monday. "Once an individual initiates a deadly force confrontation, a law enforcement officer does not have to wait to be shot/shot at reaction."

Smith was shot June 3 by two members of the U.S. Marshals Service's Northstar Violent Offender Task Force, which was attempting to arrest him on a warrant for being a felon in possession of a gun. Ryan didn't identify the task force members who shot Smith or their home agencies.

Their actions in firing at Smith were "reasonable and justified," Ryan wrote. "Their conduct was clearly in response to an apparent threat of death or great bodily harm."

Smith was shot in an SUV on the top level of the ramp in the 1400 block of W. Lake Street across from Stella's Fish Cafe, where he had just dined with a date and posted to social media about the experience.

There is no body camera or squad car dashcam footage of the incident because none was in use. The lack of transparency in this case prompted multiple Twin Cities metro sheriff's departments to pause their joint efforts with the task force.

#8  The emails were discovered in a workplace misconduct investigation into the Washington Football Team (WFT) but ended up costing Gruden his job when they also showed him complaining about the drafting of a gay player and tolerance for those protesting racism by kneeling during the national anthem. New Superman revealed to be bisexual, global activist in DC comics
Ew! Ew! Yuck! Ick! [Drags tongue along concrete sidewalk]

[NYPOST] It’s a brand new day for the man of steel.

Continuing a recent trend of comic book characters coming out as LGBTQ, Superman is now confirmed to be bisexual and on the fight for global social issues, according to the DC team behind the character, who spoke to IGN.

This news is not for the traditional iteration of Clark Kent, but instead his 17-year-old son, Jon, who has taken up his father’s mantle.

"It is a pretty big deal doing it with Jon Kent as Superman ... I hope this kind of thing will not be seen as a big deal in the future," artist John Timms told IGN.

"It will be interesting to see him not only trying to find himself as a person but a global superhero in the complex atmosphere of modern life."

That modern life — one where Jon has entered into a relationship with young "hacktivist" news hound Jay Nakamura in "Superman: Son of Kal-El" — will also be addressing the world’s societal problems along with intergalactic threats, according to writer Tom Taylor.

#9  Pronounced Yawn.

That's just pop art on the wall by the billiard table at The Blue Oyster quality. The proportions all all off, that is Yawn's shoulders imply a human who is 5'4 and 100 pounds. His nose is through the glasses. No Adam's Apple on Perrpal, and what's with the elf ear? Purrpal appears to be sitting, so even less physical?

Timms artwork is shit, even with the crutches of photoshop apps. Look at the window, the perspective is all off. Had to use a green screen in a computer art sketch? Just awful. What is that in the top right, a vent hood? Lighting highlight is terrible, there be at least a hint of shadowing.

This isn't art any more than big titty women being drawn in shop class textbooks. Except, shop class is useful.

#25  Well, the relationship gets more and more oppressive and we find Lois is actually a 2nd wave feminist, and he has to wear the ring just to prove he isn't cheating on her. In reality, its a way to control him.

Eventually, Lois gets pregnant. One night when the big game is on, she needs pickles like right now. He takes the ring off, goes to the store, and is back before the commercial is over. Even brings back a pint of Rocky Road. Lois flips at the loss of control, tells him never again with taking off the ring. Clark starts going to the liquor bar and becomes a lush, which is ok, because it means he doesn't have his powers, and can get yelled at when he gets home.

Eventually the sympathetic bartender (Woody Harrilson) convinces Clark to get a fake Kriptonic ring, and Superman wears this instead of drinking, just to feel normal. Still, his crime fighting days are over as this would give up his game.

One day he uses his x-ray and discovers the kid will be a boy. Now he is really nervous and closes down, further fueled by Batman stories and how Superman's glory days are over. He has since left his job at the Planet so he can have some space from Lois, and takes up a job selling shoes. Hilarity ensues as he has to pretend to be drunk when he comes home, nearly getting caught time and again with the fake ring on.

Child is born, and expectedly Lois is pissed its a boy. She harangues Clark incessantly, threatening to expose his secrets in the news - his alter ego, where the Fortress of Solitude is, how Kyrptonians love bits resemble those of pigs, that he has Brie Larson toes, everything. So he has to take it.

His son Yawn grows up watching this, becomes a 3rd wave feminist because that is how men should be treated, especially this 'drunken bore'. Naturally this leads him to The Blue Oyster where he meets Freddy Mercury's unknown son, whose own mother raised him wishing she had an abortion.

Levity occurs as he tries to build his cuckshed as Clark instead of Superman, and eventually has to give himself another altar ego as a crime fighter, dresses strange and nerfs himself, tags onto Batman as Robin, and has to suffer that indignation from Batman's constant slurs against Superman being past his prime.

Just can't win. The laugh tracks make the show funny, framing him as a doddering fool.

#1  Great show, a mainstay for evening tv over the years. Not sure if the supporting cast and new inserts will carry it more than a season or two, chemistry is weak and the scripts seems more formulaic than thoughtful.

#2  Me and Mrs Fool have been semi-binge-watching this lately. Seems they replaced just about the entire cast the past few seasons. The show pretty much was centered around the "Gibbs! Gibbs! Gibbs!" character. Now they pulled out that anchor point - not sure his overacting 'replacement' can cut it. A season or two perhaps for the same reasons. OTOH it might just live on as a zombie like 'Criminal Justice Special Victims Unit'...

-Land of the Free
Texas Gov. Abbott BANS all vaccine mandates, including for private entities, insisting jab is 'effective,' but must be 'voluntary'
[RT] I got my jabs back in February, two of them, no trouble, no side effects. If they were there, I'd probably have had a hard time noticing, as I was in the rehab center trying to recover from the disease. I think the thing is that the vax's are generally but not 100% safe, and no one seems to be really one hunnert percent sure how the virus is spread. I think it's the phlogiston they use, if not the pickled newts, myself. You can pick what you want.

I don't think anyone who had it is in danger from the unvaccinated. We're immune. I don't think anyone who's been jabbed is in danger from them either, within the limits of the effectiveness of their jab.

I think the "voluntary" part is what's sticking in the national (and international) craw. We've reached the stage where we as a nation are feeling ornery. We're tired of would-be overlords. We'll take the stinking vaccine if we're convinced it won't cause a blood clot that will either kill us or blow out a frontal lobe or two and leave us duh--stoopid. Having recently admired the hinges on the Pearly Gates, I had no hesitation baring an arm.

Those who don't get the vaccine are a group in themselves. They will be a danger to each other, just like everyone was to everyone else before the vaccines started coming off the vaccination assembly line. It's just that the vulnerable portion of the population is smaller.

They'll be a shrinking group as they either decide to have the jabs or peg out.

#1  I got my jab last month. The last one laid me out for about a day.

Until that time I hadn't had a flu shot of any kind since 1991, when I got laid out by another flu shot.

Since that time I have been upright and above ground, so not much to complain about.

Getting everyone to abide by government imposed medical diktats in America is like eating oatmeal out of a colander.
Posted by: badanov || 10/12/2021 5:05 Comments || Top||

#2  The shrinking set is those who neither got the vaccine nor the disease, and so have not built immunity either artificially or naturally, it seems to me.

In the end some people at one end of the bell curve will not build immunity regardless how many times they are jabbed — final daughter may be one of those, according to her immunologists, so she may end up getting immunoglobulin treatments prophylactically for the rest of her life as protection against everything— while those at the other end of the curve have such a strong immune response they won’t get sick from the thing no matter how much the virus evolves to stay ahead of acquired immunity. And some will react badly to the vaccine, whether through an imperfection in the vaccine or something innate in themselves, no matter how much subsequent versions of the vaccine are improved from the first first attempts. In the meantime, treatments to support the body and the immune response will continue to be added to the list (Vitamins C and D! Aspirin! Ivermectin! Hydroxychloroquine! Zinc!, etc.) so that catching the thing will be less deadly to those who do fall ill for whatever reason.

It’s the totalitarian demands that stick in my craw. This isn’t even a particularly American response — elsewhere around the world there have reportedly been huge marches against lockdowns and mandatory vaccines.

#5  I've had the disease. Won't be getting the jab. If I get sick again I'll try Ivermectin. It has a long history and an excellent safety profile. Moscow tourists talk about their month of slavery in Dagestan

Slavs wandering alone in territory that’s 83% Muslim? They were just asking for trouble.
Muscovites unsuccessfully contacted various police departments in Dagestan, the head of the Alternative movement emphasized.

Pelekhanov and Lifanova, both residents of Moscow, were tricked into slavery in Dagestan, where they spent almost a month, according to Pelekhanov in a video published today on the Mash Telegram channel.

#3  Dagestan is a Russian Federation republic, so as such a passport is required to enter/exit.

These slavers cruise rail stations looking for people who are trying to find work. They offer a lot of money, the slave agrees, they arrive in Dagestan, then their passports are taken from them.

#4  Origin of the word slave and slavery The word « SLAVE » was originally applied to white people. The English word slave comes from Old French sclave, from the Medieval Latin sclavus, from the Byzantine Greek σκλάβος, which, in turn, comes from the ethnonym Slav, because in some early mediaeval wars many Slavs (from central Europa) were captured and enslaved.

On the Russian side, the military attaché at the Russian Embassy in Norway, Alexander Kosarev, and the Consul General in Kirkenes, Nikolai Konygin, who noted the importance of preserving the common historical heritage, expressed gratitude.

The monument was erected thanks to a Russian initiative in 2017. #3  There is no question that China is leaning into AI really hard and will not be deterred by lawfare and international rules about "man in the loop". My take is someone bought Mr Chaillan.

I can affirm that the systems on the B-2 are archaic.

Teachable Moment: Railroad tracks are for trains, not pedestrians
PARIS (AP) – A train hit and killed three people and seriously injured another person in south-western France on Tuesday morning. A local mayor said the victims were thought to be migrants who were resting on the tracks.

The train was on a line that links the seaside resort town of Hendaye, on France’s border with Spain, and the city of Bordeaux, the national railway company SNCF said. The collision occurred at around 5:30 a.m., striking four people who were on the tracks, it said.

The victims were thought to be migrants “who were sleeping or were lying … on the railway line,” said Eneko Aldana-Douat, mayor of Ciboure, near the crash site.

He said it’s not unusual to see migrants in that region near the border.

They said he did not hear the weasel!

#4  Absent a convenient pile of cinder blocks, a railroad track is the next best thing.

While this may be a personal tragedy for the alleged victims, they can be consoled that their lives will serve as an example for others.
