"Past any sundering till God shall judge
The evil and the good.
Now it is not good for the Christian's health to hustle the Aryan brown,
For the Christian riles, and the Aryan smiles and he weareth the Christian down;
And the end of the fight is a tombstone white with the name of the late deceased,
And the epitaph drear: "A Fool lies here who tried to hustle the East."

Woman shoots man in Arbor Place Mall parking lot, Douglasville police say
Warning: Any substitution of the name 'Douglas' in city name Douglasville using a popular, six letter colloquialism is strictly forbidden.
[WSBTV-2 ATL] DOUGLASVILLE, Ga. — A 41-year-old woman was arrested after police say she shot a man in a Douglasville shopping plaza.

On Sunday, at 12:09 p.m., Douglasville officers were called to a shooting that occurred in the Arbor Place Mall parking lot.

When police arrived, they found Demetrius Forts, 32, with several gunshot wounds. Forts was taken to the hospital for medical treatment.

The investigation led to the arrest of Porsona Lashelle Holland, 41. Douglasville police believe Forts and Holland were involved in a relationship.

Authorities said the shooting was not a random act of violence.

Holland was arrested Monday afternoon. She’s charged with aggravated assault and aggravated battery.

Forts remains in the hospital.

Teen girl is left in critical condition after high school mob beatdown in Missouri - as shocking footage shows her head being repeatedly slammed against concrete until she blacks out
There's a reason High Schools look like prisons.
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] A teenage girl is in critical condition after another teen repeatedly smashed her head into the ground during a brawl near a Missouri high school.

The fight broke out at about 2:30 pm Friday near Hazelwood High School.

Video of the incident circulated on social media showing another girl bashing the teen's head into the concrete after throwing multiple punches and sending her careening to the ground.

The victim appeared to begin to have a seizure as groups of other teens brawled just feet away.

Police found the girl suffering from a serious head injury near the intersection of Norgate Drive and Claudine Drive, roughly a five-minute walk from the high school campus.

The teen, whose name has not been released, was taken to the hospital and remains in critical condition.

A 15-year-old girl was arrested Saturday and charged with assault. She was taken to the St. Louis County Family Court and remained in custody as of Sunday afternoon.

The St. Louis County Police Department is investigating the incident.

After news of the altercation broke, the Hazelwood School District released a statement condemning violence within the community.

The district recently came under fire for disenrolling more than three dozen middle schoolers in late February and early March.

The school district’s public relations director, Jordyn Elston, told STLPR that the students were ejected because of 'expired residency information.'

Of the 40 students who received letters informing them of the district's decision, thirty-eight were re-enrolled within a week after providing updated information, the district said.

Boeing whistleblower John Barnett now flying with the angels
[Mail] A former Boeing staffer who once raised concerns about the company's production standards has been found dead in the US.

John Barnett, 62, was found dead in his truck in a hotel parking lot in South Carolina, cops said Monday - seven years after he retired following a 32-year career.

The ex-quality manager at Boeing's North Charleston plant died from a 'self-inflicted' wound, cops in Charleston said, adding that they were still investigating.

Barnett's death came during a break in depositions in a whistleblower retaliation suit, where he alleged under-pressure workers were deliberately fitting sub-standard parts to aircraft on the assembly line.

He said that in some cases, second-rate parts were literally removed from scrap bins, before being fitted to planes that were being built to prevent delays. A 2017 review by the FAA upheld some of his concerns, requiring Boeing to take action.

He had just given a deposition to Boeing's lawyers for the case this past week, his attorney Brian Knowles said.

-Great Cultural Revolution
Taco Bell in Oakland have closed their indoor dining rooms. The drive-thru windows at the restaurants will remain open for customers to order food.
[CBSnews] Another Oakland fast-food business is making changes to how they operate because of safety concerns.

Several locations of fast-food chain Taco Bell including restaurants on 35th Ave. and Hegenberger Rd. in Oakland have closed their indoor dining rooms. The drive-thru windows at the restaurants will remain open for customers to order food.

KPIX went to the location on 35th Ave. and and MacArthur Sunday evening and found signs confirming that the dining room at the location is currently closed.

The restaurant has been robbed four times since November. Plywood still covers the window from three weeks ago, when robbers used a pick-up truck and cable to steal a safe. Of the four robberies the store has endured in as many months, two of them occurred when the restaurant was open for business.

Kimberly Garibay, who works at the Metro Wireless store across the street, said the restaurant's cash registers are not the only target.

"They just pull up out of nowhere and it's not like they only rob the store. They rob everybody in there as well," said Garibay. "So it's not as safe as it used to be. There's a lot of crime now."

The owner of the franchise, a company called Diversified Restaurant Group, has closed the dining rooms at all four of their Taco Bell locations in Oakland.

That leaves a Taco Bell on Telegraph Ave. that is owned by another company as the only Oakland location where people can still eat indoors. And that restaurant has gone cashless to try to discourage robberies.

Service only being provided via the drive-thru window presents a problem for some. An Oakland resident who gave her name as "Miss Jo" said she doesn't own a car and had to ask a friend to drive her so she could get her lunch at Taco Bell.

While DRG has not commented on the changes, the fast-food chain's public relations team sent KPIX the following statement regarding dining room closures:

"Providing a safe environment for team members and customers is the priority at Taco Bell restaurants. The franchise owner and operator has informed us that they are consistently evaluating and working to ensure a safe environment by implementing procedures, such as closing dining rooms, and hiring security guards, and they have taken extra measures to meet with local law enforcement."

At least for now, the Taco Bell corporation says there are no plans to close down any of the restaurants completely.

The closures mark the latest major fast-food chain shutting down indoor dining room in Oakland.

Last year, Raising Cane's near the Oakland Airport closed its dining room. Back in January, In-N-Out announced it would be closing the doors of the chain's only Oakland location because of the rise in crime. That location's last day of operation is on March 24th.

A Starbucks store in the same lot as the In-N-Out shut down late last year, one of three chain businesses in the area of the Oakland Coliseum and Oakland Airport to close, citing repeat car burglaries.

The Denny's restaurant on the same block of Hegenberger Rd. as the Taco Bell location that has closed its dining room was also shuttered in late January over safety and crime concerns.

In response to the crime issues and business closures, Oakland Mayor Sheng Thao has said the city would be doing more to protect the Hegenberger corridor area.

Deadspin lays off ENTIRE editorial staff after the popular sports website is sold to European startup firm Lineup Publishing
[DM] "Karma! Can you spell it, bitches?". Heard this on Clay and Buck while driving. Made my black heart smile
Popular sports blog Deadspin has been sold to a European startup firm Lineup Publishing, with the website's new owners not retaining any of the current editorial staff.

Deadspin had been owned by G/O Media since 2019 before Monday's sale.

Deadspin's writers and editors were given 30 minutes notice of losing their jobs before being locked out of their company laptops, per senior editor Julie DiCaro.

'I do want to make it clear that we were not actively shopping Deadspin,' G/O Media CEO Jim Spanfeller said in a memo to staff, which was obtained by DailyMail.com.

'The rationale behind the decision to sell included a variety of important factors that include the buyer's editorial plans for the brand, tough competition in the sports journalism sector, and a valuation that reflected a sizable premium from our original purchase price for the site,' Spanfeller continued.

Automakers Are Sharing Consumers' Driving Behavior With Insurance Companies
NYT requires registration before reading. Oh the inescapable irony.
[NYT] "Automakers, including G.M., Honda, Kia, and Hyundai, have been collecting detailed driving data from millions of Americans through internet-enabled connected-car applications. The data, which includes information on speed, hard braking, and rapid accelerations, is shared with data brokers like LexisNexis. These brokers then provide the information to insurance companies, which use it to personalize coverage and set rates, The New York Times reported Monday. While automakers and data brokers claim to have drivers' consent, the partnerships are often obscured in fine print and unclear privacy policies. The practice raises concerns about privacy and transparency, as some drivers may be unaware that their driving habits are being tracked and shared with third parties."

BFMTV: French government agencies were subjected to a powerful cyber attack
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] The online resources of many government agencies in France were subject to a powerful cyber attack, BFMTV reported on March 11, citing sources in the country’s government.

According to the channel's sources, the attack began on the evening of March 10. Now access to government information resources has been restored, and the damage from the actions of hackers has been minimized.

BFMTV notes that government agencies have been subjected to a DDoS attack, in which numerous requests to an Internet resource lead to its overload.

As Regnum reported, in February, the French Ministry of the Armed Forces announced that it had information about cyber attacks of “Russian origin” on the country’s defense enterprises. According to the head of the ministry, Sebastien Lecornu, these cyber attacks are allegedly becoming more aggressive and occurring more often.

Previously, Russian media noted that “ Russian hackers ” have turned into a convenient “scarecrow” for American and European media and political strategists. The Kremlin said that no evidence of such attacks had ever been presented. Such accusations take on the character of some kind of mania or phobia, noted the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov.

Europe
Sweden and Finland join Nato's biggest military exercise in decades
[BBC] There was a time when Nato would do its best to avoid direct mention of Russia when conducting its military manoeuvres. Not least for fear of provocation. But Russia's full scale invasion of Ukraine has changed all that.

Now the alliance's drills have Moscow in mind. One of the key stated objectives of Exercise Steadfast Defender is to deter Russia. It's the alliance's largest since the end of the Cold War, involving 90,000 military personnel and taking place right across Europe's eastern flank over the next few months.

Steadfast Defender is also the first test of Nato's new military plans - designed to move troops and equipment at speed and scale to bolster any ally under attack. And it's an affirmation of the very purpose of Nato - that an attack on one would prompt a response from all.

Donald Trump may have called that into question, but America remains the backbone of that pledge and has committed huge resources to prove it.

The first stage of the exercise is taking place in the remote white wilderness of the Finnmark region of northern Norway. It's not that far from Norway's 120-mile border with Russia. Though in this scenario Finnmark's been invaded by a fictional enemy called Occasus.

Eivor, a 21-year-old Norwegian medical student and part-time soldier, says her grandparents had to flee this same area when the Nazis invaded in World War Two.

"I'd rather stay here and fight," she says. She says she's not expecting the Russians to invade "but of course you always have to stay on your toes".

It's the first big Nato exercise with forces from Sweden and Finland taking part as fully fledged members.

There's a palpable sense of excitement among their troops at becoming part of the world's largest military alliance. They're also more willing to identify the threat.

Preparing for a beach assault in a fjord, one Finnish marine said it made no sense for his country "being alone against Russia". Another adds: "Nato kind of scares Russia." A fellow Swedish marine says he feels "super safe" now his country's finally joined the Alliance.

Georgia Black Vote Begins to Slip Away from Joe Biden
[Breitbart] The black vote in Georgia is slipping away from President Joe Biden, the establishment media warned Monday, underscoring concerns among Democrats that former President Donald Trump has a strong chance to win the Peach State.

The black vote plays an outsized role in Georgia compared to many states:

  • Georgia, a swing state Biden won in 2022 by half a point, has the second-largest black population in the United States.

  • Thirty-three percent of 2020 presidential election voters in Georgia were black, U.S. Census data shows.

Many black voters soured on Biden due to the inflated cost of living and a lack of prioritizing inner-city concerns, such as illegal migration and a lack of school choice, according to Reuters. "[S]ome Black voters now feel disillusioned by a surge in the cost of living and racial justice priorities they feel Biden’s Democrats have yet to deliver on as promised, polls and interviews show," Reuters reported:

Former President Trump endorses ex-congressman Mike Rogers for Michigan's U.S. Senate seat
The Memory Hole spits one back.
[Just The News] Former President Donald Trump on Monday endorsed ex-congressman Mike Rogers for Michigan's U.S. Senate seat in a crowded race.

Trump posted on his Truth Social account Monday, "Highly respected former Congressman Mike Rogers is running for the United States Senate from the Great State of Michigan. Mike has served his Country during a career loaded up with accolades and wins, from the Army to Congress, and now, hopefully, the U.S. Senate.

"Mike will work closely with me to enact our America First Policies," Trump continued. "He will tirelessly fight to Secure the Border, Stop Inflation, Grow the Economy, Strengthen our Military / Veteran Support, and Protect and Defend our always under siege Second Amendment. Mike Rogers will be a Great and Powerful Senator for Michigan, and has my Complete and Total Endorsement. HE KNOWS HOW TO WIN!"

Rogers left Congress in 2015. He's backed by the National Republican Senatorial Committee.
He knows where the bodies are buried. What else could we do ?
According to an MRG poll late last month, Rogers is leading former Rep. Peter Meijer, R-Mich., by 16 percentage points. Meijer voted to impeach Trump in 2021. Former Rep. Justin Amash, who left the GOP to become an independent in 2019, has announced his Republican candidacy for the Senate seat last month, according to The Hill.

#1  This guy and his wife Kristi are bad juju. The smelly old DOS security contract awards must have been forgiven...or forgotten. She resigned from Aegis LLC and he suddenly left the congress soon after. Aegis' SAS veteran Tim Spicer knew what he was doing when he brought her on board.

Before Rogers unexpectedly left the Congress (to start his own small business and spend more time with the family), he was the head of the prestigious House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPCSI), you should be able to assemble the missing pieces.

Helpful clue: When you think of the UK's Aegis LLC, think Air America. Former FBI 'Special Agent'? Yes of course.

    Link to 2013 story.

So it seems rather interesting to note that Rogers’ wife, Kristi Clemens Rogers, was, until recently, the president and CEO of Aegis LLC a “security” defense contractor company, whom she helped to secure a $10 billion (with a b) contract with the State Department. The company describes itself as “a leading private security company, provides government and corporate clients with a full spectrum of intelligence-led, culturally-sensitive security solutions to operational and development challenges around the world.”

Giant plague grave discovered in Nuremberg could be the largest mass burial site EVER seen in Europe - with as many as 1,500 people buried there
Giant PLAGUE grave! Let's dig it up!
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] Scientists may have uncovered what is the largest mass burial site in Europe.

The site in Nuremberg, Germany, contains the bodies of at least 1,000 people who died of the bubonic plague, which killed up to 60 per cent of Europe's population.

Described as a 'nationally significant' discovery, experts think the bodies were buried at the first half of 17th century following a ruthless wave of the disease.

The bubonic plague is spread by the bite of a flea that's been infected with a bacterium called Yersinia pestis.

Those afflicted died quickly and horribly following a bout of high fever, shivering, vomiting, headaches, delirium and 'suppurative buboes' (swellings)
Suppurative Buboes is the name of my new band
Melanie Langbein, from Nuremberg’s department for heritage conservation, said eight plague pits have been identified, each containing several hundred bodies.

'Those people were not interred in a regular cemetery although we have designated plague cemeteries in Nuremberg,' Langbein told CNN.

'This means a large number of dead people who needed to be buried in a short time frame without regard to Christian burial practices.'

Several of the bones are physically damaged due to the bombs that fell in the area during the Second World War, Spiegel reports. Others are green due to waste from a neighboring copper mill being disposed at the site, just as copper jewellery turns skin green. Some bodies were in clothing or wrapped in cloth when they were buried but generally they were tightly squeezed into the burial space – reflective of the high death rate from the deadly disease.

The burials were unearthed during excavations in a field ahead of the construction of a new retirement home in Nuremberg. Although 500 skeletons have been found, one expert thinks there could be as many as 2,000 there or even more.

'There was no indication to assume that there were burials on this field,' said Julian Decker, whose company In Terra Veritas is carrying out the excavation.

'I personally expect the number to be at 2,000 or even above, making it the biggest mass grave in Europe.'

Plague pandemics hit the world in three waves from the 1300s to the 1900s and killed millions of people.mThe first wave, called the Black Death in Europe, was from 1347 to 1351, while the second in the 1500s saw the emergence of a new strain of the disease and the last one at the end of the 1800s spread across Asia.

Nuremberg suffered plague outbreaks roughly every 10 years from the 14th century onward, making it a challenge to date the newly-found remains.

Radiocarbon dating – which involves measuring the amount of carbon to provide an age estimate – was used date one grave between the late 1400s and early 1600s.

However, the experts discovered a note from 1634 detailing a plague outbreak at the site that killed more than 15,000 people between 1632 and 1633.

This led them to conclude that these bodies are likely from the 1632-1633 plague epidemic.

Ralf Schekira, managing director of WBG Group which is working on the new retirement home, said they did not expect such an important find.

'As a developer, we are aware of the importance of archaeology and the obligation to carry out such excavations,' he said

'However, we did not expect such a discovery and will now try to make the best of the situation.

'On the one hand, it means that we are doing everything we can to keep to the schedule for the retirement home to be built and, on the other, we will do our bit to ensure that the historical find is documented.'

The next step is removing all the skeletons and studying the bones for traces of the plague bacterium Yersinia pestis.

According to a recent study, genes that protected people against the disease have been passed down and increase the risk of Crohn's disease and rheumatoid arthritis.

Nowadays, plague is easily treated with antibiotics and the use of standard precautions to prevent acquiring infection.

As an animal disease, plague is found in all continents, except Oceania. There is a risk of human plague wherever the presence of plague natural foci and human population co-exist. Plague epidemics have occurred in Africa, Asia, and South America; but since the 1990s, most human cases have occurred in Africa. The three most endemic countries are the Democratic Republic of Congo, Madagascar, and Peru. In Madagascar, cases of bubonic plague are reported nearly every year, between September and April.

WHO does not recommend vaccination, except for high-risk groups (such as laboratory personnel who are constantly exposed to the risk of contamination, and health care workers).
