[American Thinker] Demands for "reparations" for the wrongs of slavery are poisonous, and can only lead to heightened racial conflict, which no doubt is the intent of some advocates. But as official bodies like San Francisco's African American Reparations Advisory Committee proliferate, the greed underlying the victimology is becoming obvious. The San Francisco body demanded an immediate transfer of wealth that would equal the wealth of the top 1½ % of Americans to San Francisco blacks who met its criteria. Now comes yet another race hustler with an equally if not more impractical demand.
A racist in a tablecloth suit named Dr. Umar Johnson decreed on The Breakfast Club radio show recently that the American government must carve out a full quarter of all economic activity — in perpetuity. "We get a 25% cut... every time America makes a dollar." That would amount to approximately six trillion dollars annually. He makes sure to emphasize this is a forever arrangement.
Note that The Breakfast Club is a widely heard syndicated radio show catering to a black audience.
In case you are wondering, according to this source, "Doctor" Johnson sports a "doctor of psychology" degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
That’s why, when you listen to his minute-plus rant on Twitter, you hear about the "psychological damage" of racism, which explains everything that bothers him, it would seem. "When you see a black man take the life of another black man, that’s psychological damage [caused by white supremacy]...."
Of course, diverting 25% of GNP would make the 13% of the populace that are black into an economic elite, just like the ridiculous San Francisco proposal. Without lifting a finger to earn that wealth, merely because of their skin pigmentation. Boo hoo! These demands can only anger the vast majority who would be called upon to reduce their standard of living substantially in order to create a wealthy elite with unearned lucre.

With 65% of black Americans supporting reparations, there will most definitely be a reconning of sorts - it's almost impossible to avoid at this point. Whether reparations are eventually approved or finally thrown out, the losing side will most likely seek violence to demonstrate their displeasure.

It probably emerged in the previous year based on COVID antibodies found in banked blood from the fall of 2019 and a severe non-influenza respiratory illness sweeping through ICUs in the early winter of 2019. In those days it was simply called the Chinese coronavirus, based on the reported origin but we still don’t know that for sure.
In fact, much of what we have been told about COVID over the past three years has turned out to be "misinformation", as government, corporate media, and big tech described everything that went against their preferred COVID narrative. Who are the real deniers?
Start with the origin of the Chinese coronavirus, initially said to have definitively originated in a Wuhan market due to a chance encounter of a bat with a pangolin. The latter supposedly ended up on someone’s dinner table, the virus making a miraculous leap from bat to pangolin to human in record time with no intermediate hosts or time to mutate.
In fact, the virus was likely man-made, manufactured via gain of function research which Dr Anthony Fauci adamantly denied. Such research is illegal in the US but not elsewhere in the world. [AmericanThinker] Riots broke out in Memphis and are rapidly spreading through the usual urban areas. The purported rationale is the horrific beating to death in Memphis of Tyre Nichols captured on video and released by the police. As Glenn Reynolds (Instapundit) observes, Nichols’ beating was administered by “Black officers in a majority Black city with a Black police chief.”
The officers involved have been criminally charged, but the media to which every Black killed by a cop is just proof that we are still in the Selma, Alabama world of decades ago -- another case of some innocent Black person victimized by racist oppressors.
The odious Joy Reid at MSNBC highlighted a guest who blames Nichols’ death on “white supremacy” and CNN’s Van Jones opined “The police who killed Tyre Nichols were Black. But they still may have been driven by racism.”
To the contrary, I blame the death on those who actually administered the beating and the lack of rapid medical treatment, but people like Reid and Jones who refuse to acknowledge the murderous consequences of a savage urban Black culture which time and again ends on tragedy and who stir up absurdly conjured racism are also at fault.
As the deans of colleges and heads of k-12 schools pen their usual pap about this, and the overpaid professional consultants start scheduling conferences and workshops on ending “systemic racism,” it is a good time to review some facts which they steadfastly ignore.

South Sudan should be divided in three. The Dinka to the west, the Nuer/Shilluk to the east, and the Equatorial tribes that want nothing to do with either, in the south. The present situation will only lead to more bloodshed. The problem is that the AU wants no subdivision of nations, as that would lead to a cascade of changes in Africa.

Sure enough, despite years of the left dismissing the possibility as a conspiracy theory, a new legal filing serves as an admittance that the FBI was very much involved in the events of January 6th.
Ironically, we are finding that out because the government is once again trying to cover up exactly what happened. Regarding the case of Proud Boy Ethan Nordean,

federal prosecutors are asking a judge to limit defense questions on the matter.
So they want to use information from these informants to help throw a person in jail, but they don’t want to allow the defense to question said informants or how they got their information. How very on-brand for the federal government.
Regardless, the revelation here is that FBI informants were embedded with the Proud Boys both online and in person on the day of the march to the Capitol building on January 6th. That’s important for several reasons, and none of them are good.
How involved were these informants in the lead-up to January 6th? Were they egging things on as in the Gretch Whitmer kidnapping farce? Did they encourage people to enter the Capitol? As informants participating in planning discussions, they wouldn’t have just been silent so as to not raise suspicions. So in what capacity were they involved? Instead of trying to get a judge to shut that conversation down, it should be happening out in the open.
But the biggest question is a rather simple one: If the FBI had numerous informants with the Proud Boys and January 6th was a seditious, pre-planned conspiracy (which is the claim of prosecutors)...then why didn’t they try to stop it?
As far as public information goes, the FBI made zero effort to cool tensions leading up to January 6th, and despite being directly involved with the group they claim led it, it took no action to stop the violence on the day of the Capitol breach. Why, it’s almost like they wanted it to happen. Nah, couldn’t be.
None of this makes sense, and it’s not going to make sense as long as the FBI and DOJ stonewall any attempts at transparency about what occurred. Yes, people rioted of their own accord, but if the government had a chance to quell tensions and instead stood idly by, that’s a big scandal.

Nice, and a bit long, but this tank was specifically designed to go against the Soviet military. It has proven itself over and over. If used in the Ukraine, with training support it would be very successful.
