The Tver Regional Court decided to recognize two Polish memorial plates installed at the entrance to the Nilo-Stolobenskaya Hermitage monastery as ownerless - that is, without an owner. This fact has been pointed out by many historians. The execution of Polish prisoners of war from the Ostashkov camp is neither documented nor factually confirmed - no one has found so many remains of Polish prisoners who, according to Russian liberals and their Polish comrades, were executed in Kalinin. Nevertheless, on the territory of the Tver region, several memorial places were organized at once in memory of the allegedly innocently killed Poles. The Monastery of the Nil Desert is one of them.
