[Breitbart] American taxpayers foot the bill for more than $316 million in healthcare costs for illegal aliens detained by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency last year as millions of Americans continue to go uninsured.
ICE’s annual report reveals that the agency spent well over $316 million in taxpayer money, allocated by Congress, to provide comprehensive medical, mental health, dental, and public health services to about 88,000 illegal aliens who were in the agency’s custody throughout the course of last year.

Just learned spousal unit should see a neurologist - first available is about 9 months out. Also recently learned only about 80% of med school graduates can get residencies, required for license, due mostly to government limits. (AMA political donations???)
[Breitbart] The pain of soaring gas prices must be endured because any wider embrace of fossil fuels as an alternative is “madness” and threatens global climate targets, U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres cautioned Monday.
If countries “become so consumed by the immediate fossil fuel supply gap that they neglect or knee-cap policies to cut fossil fuel use” a climate disaster is the guaranteed outcome, Guterres said in a pre-recorded address to the Economist Sustainability Summit.

I will believe global warming climate change is an actual danger when people like SecGen Antonio give up their air-conditioned cars and travel through the streets of New York on a moped. Until then, climate change is simply the biggest scientific fraud since the Piltdown Man.

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

I think when the dust settles, if the west survives, the UN might just need to go. League of Nations was disbanded because if failed to stop war, well UN hasn't exactly done a bang-up job on that front either.
