Suspected drug trafficker in NC busted with ‘huge amount' of narcotics, police say
[FoxNews] Police in Fayetteville, North Carolina, busted a driver allegedly hauling 15.8 kilos of cocaine

A suspected drug trafficker was arrested in North Carolina last week with a "huge amount" of illegal drugs during a routine traffic stop, authorities said.

Silviano Carrillo Ramirez, 34, was pulled over near Raeford Road and Montclair Road in Fayetteville on Wednesday, Fayetteville police said.

During the traffic stop, officers searched the vehicle and discovered 15,885 grams, or 15.8 kilos, of cocaine inside, according to police.

Police shared photos of the 12 bricks of cocaine, which officers had seized from the vehicle.

Ramirez was charged with three counts of trafficking cocaine and conspiracy.

He was booked into the Cumberland County Detention Center and remains in custody under a $350,000 secured bond.

Afghanistan
Daily Evacuation Brief November 21, 2022
[AfghanDigest] LAST 24 HOURS
  • BORDER CLASHES IN PAKTIA CONTINUE – Yesterday evening, fresh clashes between Pakistan and Afghanistan border forces were reported in the Dand-e-Patan District of Afghanistan and the Barokai District of Pakistan. The fighting has so far been restricted to small-arms gunfire being traded across the border. While a firm count of casualties has yet to be reported, there are scattered reports of non-combatant injuries on the Pakistan side of the line. The fighting escalated even after the announcement of the reopening of the Spin Boldak-Chaman crossing early on Sunday.

  • REINFORCEMENTS BEING SENT TO BADAKHSHAN – A Battlion-sized element of Taliban fighters has been ordered to reinforce Taliban outposts in the Wakhan Valley of the Province. A source within the Ministry of Defense said the move was meant to reassure both local leaders and China that the Taliban intend to keep the Province from falling into NRF hands. Source went on to claim the Chinese are primarily concerned with keeping ETIM and other terrorist groups from their shared border. It is not clear when the reinforcements will arrive in the Province and the source claimed that no preparations had been made to garrison the fighters there for the coming Winter. The Prime Minister is thought to have ordered a delegation of Taliban leaders to accompany the Battalion to hear grievances by local leaders.

  • THE IEA DIGS ITS HEELS IN – The senior leadership of the Taliban continues to ignore calls for a more modern model of governance. Even sympathetic regional States have had their demands for the formation of an inclusive government and access for women to education rebuffed. Seemingly, the thinking in Kandahar is that its strategic position as a crossroads will ultimately outweigh criticisms from the international community and they will be forced to relent and recognize the IEA. Thus, the edicts and proclamations from Kandahar continue to accelerate the IEA on its downward spiral towards ‘rogue nation’ status. Recent announcements concerning a return to the strictest form of Sharia law are serving to silence even nominal support for the regime. Such a state of isolation can be survived but with active resistance in the country that will likely get stronger as the economic situation worsens and a lack of expertise concerning domestic governance, the future looks bleak.

  • TALIBAN MILITARY SHAKEUP – The Hamid Khorasani camp in Khair Khana (Kabul) is said to have been the scene of an inter-Taliban dust-up. Sources in the Ministry of Defense confirmed that Taliban forces who were previously stationed at the base have been relieved of their duties and all weapons, vehicles, and equipment were collected and placed under the command of the Central Corps. Sources said the loyalties of the troops garrisoned at the camp had been questioned and the Ministry of Defense decided to disarm/dismiss them rather than attempt to rehabilitate the unit. Sources agreed the move would drive several of the disaffected troops directly into the arms of the Resistance or ISIS-K. No further information was available.

CONFLICT TRACKER
Faryab: Unknown gunmen assassinated 2 Talib security personnel manning a checkpoint near the appeals court. The gunmen escaped.
Paktia: Another border skirmish was reported late Sunday between Taliban and Pakistani security forces in Dand-e-Patan district. The belligerents reportedly traded small arms fire for several hours. Some Pakistani non-combatants are thought to have been injured.

NEXT 24 HOURS
  • PAKISTAN HAS ANNOUNCED IT WILL REOPEN SPIN BOLDAK-CHAMAN GATE – The crossing had been closed since a deadly cross-border incident occurred. Pakistan made the announcement after receiving assurances the perpetrator would be brought to justice. One news outlet, The Khaama Press, reported that a man purported to be the instigator of the attack was transferred to Pakistani custody on Saturday night in Kandahar Province. This information has not yet been verified. The gate should open to all traffic today.

  • UNAMA HEAD TO MEET WITH UZBEKISTAN AND TAJIKISTAN IN DUSHANBE – Marks Potzel, UNAMA head, traveled to Dushanbe for a week of meetings with leaders of both countries to discuss the Afghanistan problem.

Taliban Hands Over Man Accused of Opening Fire at Pakistani Forces
[Khaama (Afghanistan)] Local sources in Kandahar province in southern Afghanistan said that Taliban
...Arabic for students...
authorities have handed over the man who allegedly shot Pak soldiers at the Wesh-Chaman border crossing to Pakistain.

The source claims that the handing over took place between Taliban officials in Kandahar province and Pak government representatives on Saturday night, November 19.

Earlier this week, a video depicting a gunman shooting Pak soldiers at close range in the presence of the Taliban members was circulated on social media.

Pak officials claimed that a man entering Pakistain from Afghanistan opened fire on a Pak soldier, killing him and injuring several others.

The number of deaths sustained by the two sides in the armed skirmish, however, has not yet been determined.

The Chaman border crossing, one of the key borders between Pakistain and Afghanistan, was closed to trade and transportation following the confrontation between the Pak security forces and the Taliban.

According to a military official from Pakistain, Afghan passengers and commercial traffic will not be authorized to cross the border until the Taliban turns over the person who fired at Pak soldiers to the Pak government.

The border crossing between Afghanistan and Pakistain in Spin Boldak of Kandahar will likely open for traffic by tomorrow following the handing over of the accused to the Pak side.

Following the Taliban’s return to power in Afghanistan in August 2021, Pak and Taliban forces have engaged in armed festivities on the Chaman border multiple times, each time resulting in the closure of the border crossing.

The border guards of Afghanistan’s past governments have also engaged in multiple bloody skirmishes with the Pak military, demonstrating the longstanding history of border tensions between the two countries.

Border clashes along Durand line between Afghanistan and Pakistan leave casualties
[Khaama (Afghanistan)] An on going border festivities between the Pakistain military forces and the Afghan Taliban
...Arabic for students...
army have been reported Sunday evening.

According to the reports, military forces in both sides of the border in the South-Eastern Paktya province have opened fire to each other which has caused casualties. The number of death and injuries were not immediately reported, however, Pakistain media outlets have reported that a number of civilians including women and kiddies have been maimed inside Pakistain border.

The incident has occurred in Dand-e-Patan area of Paktya province inside Afghanistan and Barokai area located inside Pakistain land.

This comes as there have bee several border festivities between the Taliban and Pakistain forces since the regain of power by Taliban in Afghanistan.

An armed man killed a Pak soldier at the Southern Spin Boldak border on November 13th, in reaction of which the Pakistain government closed its border asking for the handover of the suspect to Pakistain.

Recent reports suggest that the suspect man who shot a Pak soldier last week has been handed over to Pakistain government.

Libyan Police Arrest Foreign Human Trafficking Gang
[LIBYAREVIEW] The Benghazi Security Directorate announced the arrest of members of a human smuggling network.

The directorate said in a statement that a Sudanese human smuggler, who used to receive over 7,000 dinars from every migrant wishing to cross the Mediterranean to Italia was arrested. Most of the migrants colonists were Bangladeshis and Sudanese expatriate workers.

According to the statement, the Security Directorate coordinated with one of the migrants colonists to lure members of the smuggling network. The boat used in smuggling operations was also confiscated after the arrest.

The defendants confessed to carrying out about 20 operations by sea, across the shores of the Ganfouda and Dariana regions. Legal measures were taken against the accused, and they were referred to the Public Prosecution.

Last week, Libyan security forces arrested a gang of foreigners on charges of arranging to smuggle a group of migrants colonists to Europe. The Tripoli
...a confusing city, one end of which is located in Lebanon and the other end of which is the capital of Libya. Its chief distinction is being mentioned in the Marine Hymn...
Security Directorate said that the "forces of the Gharbi Police Station arrested a foreign gang, intending to smuggle a group of expatriate workers through one of the coastal ports."

The directorate said that the members of the gang received $2,700 from each migrant for transporting them by rubber boats across the Mediterranean. The statement did not reveal the identity of the gang, nor their nationalities.

The statement pointed out that a member of the investigation department "disclosed important information that contributed to developing a plan, and setting up a tight ambush to arrest the group." The accused have confessed to the charges, and the necessary legal measures have been taken against them.

Earlier this month, Jean-Claude Samouiller, President of Amnesia Amnesty International in La Belle France condemned the deliberate sorting of migrants colonists coming from Libya by the Italian authorities, saying that "it is a flagrant violation of international law."

In press statements, Samouiller said that "after more than ten days of deadlock, Italia finally authorised a ship from the NGO SOS Humanity, flying the German flag, to dock in the Sicilian port of Catania. But the Italian authorities want to sort out the migrants colonists they will welcome on board the boat."

Suspected jihadists kill troops and civilians in Nigeria
[AlAhram] Jihadists have attacked an army base and a town in northeast Nigeria
... a particularly crimson stretch of Islam's bloody border...
killing soldiers and civilians, security sources and residents said Sunday in the latest violence to rock the region.

Fighters from Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
West Africa Province (ISWAP) riding trucks fitted with machineguns stormed the town of Malam Fatori, in Abadam district, late Friday and early Saturday, they said.

"ISWAP Lions of Islam attacked Malam Fatori and caused huge destruction which we are working to quantify," a military officer told AFP.

"They attacked the military base and engaged troops in a fight while a second group went on a killing spree and arson in the town," said the officer who asked not to be identified.

The first attack, near the Niger border, came at dusk Friday, leading to a fierce battle with soldiers who repelled the assault, said resident Buji Garwa.

In a predawn attack on the base and the town on Saturday, the jihadists hurled explosives and killed residents, while others drowned in a river trying to flee.i

DEATH TOLL UNCLEAR
"It is not clear how many people were killed because we all fled the town and are now gradually returning to assess the damage," Garwa said, adding that a large part of the town had been set afire.

"We have started combing the bushes and picking (up) bodies of those killed and searching along the river banks to find those washed to the shores," he said.

Another resident, Baitu Madari, said she had counted a dozen people who were killed in her neighbourhood.

"I have no idea of the number of the dead bodies recovered in other parts of town. The destruction is really huge," she said.

According to an intelligence officer, the attackers came from nearby Kamuya village.

"Kamuya is the largest ISWAP camp in Lake Chad area which is just eight kilometres (five miles) from Malam Fatori," the source said.

"All the previous unsuccessful attacks on Malam Fatori were launched from Kamuya which is well fortified with mines and heavy weapons," he added.

Malam Fatori, 200 kilometres from the regional capital Maiduguri, on the fringes of Lake Chad, was seized by Boko Haram

jihadists in 2014 but clawed back by the military in 2015.

A base was established in the town to repel attacks from ISWAP, which split from Boko Haram in 2016 and turned Lake Chad into a bastion.

In March, thousands of people who fled to Maiduguri and into neighbouring Niger were returned to Malam Fatori on the orders of the Borno state government, despite concern by aid agencies.

The jihadist conflict which broke out in 2009 has killed over 40,000 people and displaced around two million in the northeast.

The violence has spilled into neighbouring Niger, Chad and Cameroon

Bangladesh
Manhunt underway after two extremists on death row escape from police custody
[BenarNews] Authorities in Bangladesh were hunting for two Moslem Lions of Islam condemned to death row for the 2015 killings of a secular writer and publisher, after men on cycle of violences helped them to escape as police took them to court on Sunday.

A group of four men on cycle of violences subdued police guards with what appeared to be pepper spray as the officers were escorting the two Ansar al-Islam men, Abu Siddique Sohel and Mainul Islam, outside the Chief Judicial Magistrate Court in Dhaka, officials said. The men on the bikes then whisked the two convicts away in the incident that occurred around noon.

Both of the prisoners, who were scheduled to appear at a trial on Sunday before the Anti-Terrorism Tribunal, had been among defendants sentenced to death in 2021 for the machete-killings of secular writer Avijit Roy and publisher Faisal Arefin Dipan seven years ago.

The group on the cycle of violences sprayed "something" into the eyes of the coppers who were escorting the prisoners, Faruk Hossain, a front man for Dhaka Metropolitan Police, told BenarNews.

Police have announced a reward of up to U.S. $10,000 each for information leading to the runaways’ capture.

At a presser at his office, Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said that authorities had issued a nationwide alert for the runaways.

"We have issued a red alert. We are trying to arrest them and the border areas were alerted," he said, adding that on-duty coppers would be disciplined if they were found to be negligent in allowing the two forces of Evil to escape.

The two runaways belonged to Ansar al-Islam (otherwise known as Ansarullah Bangla Team), a Moslem Death Eater group aligned with al-Qaeda that was blamed for a string of horrific murders targeting secular writers and intellectuals in Moslem-majority Bangladesh in 2015 and 2016.

Avijit Roy,
...Bangladeshi-American engineer, online activist, writer and blogger who created the Mukto-Mona internet community for Bangladeshi freethinkers, including rationalists, skeptics, atheists and humanists. Engineers are dangerous — they can’t be stopped thinking logically and explaining their conclusions, short of death, so Ansarullah Bangla Team arranged it. ABT is ISIS in Bangladesh now, but at the time Al Qaeda was where all the kewl jihadis pledged their blood...
a U.S.-Bangladeshi writer, was attacked and hacked to death in February 2015 as he and his wife were leaving a book festival in Dhaka. Dipan, whose publishing house printed the works of Roy and other secular thinkers, was killed in October that year when forces of Evil burst into his office and murdered him in a similar way.

The Grand Turk
Dozens killed in Turkish air strikes against Kurdish militants in Syria, Iraq
[France24] Turkey announced on Sunday it had carried out air strikes against the bases of outlawed Kurdish militants across northern Syria and Iraq, which it said were being used to launch "terrorist" attacks on Turkish soil.

The raids in northern and northeastern Syria overnight, primarily against positions held by Syrian Kurdish forces, killed at least 31 people, British-based war monitoring group the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said.

The offensive, codenamed Operation Claw-Sword, comes a week after a blast in central Istanbul that killed six people and wounded 81.

Turkey blamed the attack on the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), which has waged a bloody insurgency there for decades and is designated a terror group by Ankara and its Western allies. The PKK has denied involvement in the Istanbul explosion.

"Air Operation Claw-Sword was successfully carried out, within the scope of our strategy to eradicate terrorism at its source and eliminate terror attacks against our people and security forces from northern Iraq and Syria," the defence ministry said in a statement.

India-Pakistan
7 injured near Kurram border following firing from Afghan side over land dispute: officials
[Dawn] Seven people, including two children, were maimed following firing from across the Afghan border in Kharlachi and Borki near Kurram border on Sunday, according to officials.

Parachinar District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ) Deputy Medical Superintendent Dr Qaiser Abbas Bangash told Dawn.com that the children were seriously injured while several livestock were also killed due to shelling from Afghanistan on the local community.

He said the injured, which also include three security officials, were under treatment at the hospital.

Federal Minister for Overseas Paks and Human Resource Development Sajid Hussain Turi, while confirming the incident, condemned the firing.

In a statement shared on Twitter, he said: "Afghanistan's violation of Pakistain's Kurram border at Kharlachi and Borki and targeting the civilian population is condemnable."

He called for an immediate ceasefire and said the people of Kurram and the Pakistain Army knew well how to "protect their land and befittingly respond to any aggression".

Turi stressed that aggression and war were not a solution to any problem, adding that Pakistain wanted to solve all problems with Afghanistan and other neighbouring countries through dialogue.

The federal minister also stated that Afghanistan was a brotherly country and Pakistain wanted all "outstanding issues to be resolved through diplomatic channels and dialogue".

Turi said that land disputes between the people living on both sides of the border should be resolved through bilateral jirga and diplomatic channels so that no such incident takes place in the future as it will damage the fraternal and friendly relations between the two countries.

"He said that we have already held jirgas and negotiations with the Afghan government on the land dispute and more negotiations are needed, and the people across the border should not try to unsuccessfully occupy the Pak lands of Kharlachi and Borki," the statement shared on Twitter reads.

Separately, while talking to Dawn.com, he also said that Pak forces had conducted retaliatory firing after the Afghan side's targeting of the local populace.

The military and the Foreign Office have not made a comment on the situation yet.

Meanwhile,
...back at the Council of Boskone, Helmuth ordered the space pirate fleet to attack Zemblonia...
local tribal leader Inayat Turi told Dawn.com that festivities first took place on Saturday between local tribes and the Taliban
...Arabic for students...
on the Pak-Afghan Borki-Kharlachi border over "illegal constructions" by Afghanistan.

He said a ceasefire was reached with the cooperation of local leaders, Afghan officials, and Pakistain Army officials. However,
some people cause happiness wherever they go; others whenever they go...
he added that festivities took place again today after the Afghan side resumed work with a pair of excavators at the same place.

The tribal leader said that there was anger and unrest among the local population, who were now demanding immediate measures by the officials to respond to Afghan attackers since the incident was direct aggression against Pakistain's integrity.

He said that shelling from the Afghan side on locals was still ongoing and people were expressing concerns about the risks of injuries to innocents.

A local speaking to Dawn.com said that most of the people were moving to Parachinar city from the two villages.

The development comes amid already tense relations between the two neighbours.

Earlier this week, the border at Chaman was closed for an indefinite period after an armed suspect from the Afghan side opened fire on Pakistani security personnel at Friendship Gate last week, resulting in the martyrdom of one soldier and injuries to two.

A subsequent flag meeting at Friendship Gate between officials from both sides failed to evolve a consensus over the reopening of the crossing.

Operation Claw-Sword: Turkey strikes in Iraq, Syria a week after Istanbul bombing
[PUBLISH.TWITTER]

The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the occupiers of Greek Asia Minor...
launched on Sunday Operation Claw-Sword air raids against outlawed Kurdish Death Eaters in Iraq and Syria almost a week after a deadly blast in central Istanbul, the defense minister said.

"We are starting Operation Claw-Sword from now on," Defense Minister Hulusi Akar said before the planes left their bases to hit the targets. A defense ministry statement said he directed the offensive from the air force operations center with top commanders.

The defense ministry later on Sunday said that 89 targets, including shelters and ammunition depots, were destroyed in air strikes on Kurdish Death Eater bases in northern Iraq and northern Syria.

The strikes had targeted Qandil, Asos and Hakurk in Iraq and Kobani, Tal Rifat, Cizire and Derik in northern Syria, it said, adding that "so-called directors of the terrorist organization were among those neutralized."

The defense ministry had earlier said that the raids targeted bases of the outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) and the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG), which Ankara considers an extension of the PKK.

The attacks come days after Ankara blamed the PKK for a deadly bombing in central Istanbul last week which killed six people and maimed more than 80.

No group has grabbed credit for bombing on the busy pedestrian avenue, and the PKK and Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have denied involvement.

A front man for the SDF said that the Ottoman Turkish strikes had destroyed infrastructure including grain silos, a power station and a hospital. Eleven civilians, including a journalist, died, said Farhad Shami, head of the SDF media center on Twitter.

The SDF said in a statement they would retaliate for the strikes. "These attacks by the Ottoman Turkish occupied forces will not go without a response," it said.

Separately, a Syrian military source told state media SANA that a number of servicemen had been killed in "Ottoman Turkish aggression on Syrian land" on Sunday morning, in the countryside near northern Aleppo and Hasaka.

Akar said in a statement that all necessary measures were taken to avoid damage to innocent people and the surroundings, adding that "only and only bully boyz and structures belonging to bully boyz were targeted."

"The claws of our Ottoman Turkish armed forces were once again on the top of the terrorists."

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
Human rights groups warn of impending massacre in Kurdish city in western Iran
[Rudaw] Kurdish rights groups on Sunday warned of an impending massacre in the Kurdish city of Mahabad in western Iran
...The nation is noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence...
as a large number of Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) units attacked the city with armored vehicles on Saturday night, hunting down activist muppets that have defied the regime.

Videos from the city on Saturday showed thousands of mostly young men barricading the streets of the city preparing to confront the IRGC and its militia, the Basij. The IRGC and the Basij attacked protesters across the Kurdish areas of western Iran (Rojhelat), killing at least 26 protesters including children during four days of unrest.

Hengaw Organization for Human Rights reported loud explosions being heard in several Kurdish cities on Saturday night, with no information released on the cause.

Ali Karimi, a football star who has become one of the most notable voices of the protests in Iran, called on people across the country to support the people of Mahabad.

"The forces of the IRGC armed with heavy and small weapons have entered Mahabad to suppress the youth. They have cut the electricity from neighborhoods where there were barricades," Rebin Rahmani, the core founder of the Kurdistan Human Rights Network, tweeted on Sunday morning. "The IRGC forces are searching house to house to arrest the citizens, there is constant gunfire."

Bukan, Mahabad, and Piranshahr cities were scenes of battle between the protesters and the IRGC forces backed by their Kurdish collaborators. Several houses of Kurdish collaborators known, referred to as "jash" were torched. Some other cities in the Kurdish areas that have not seen much protest activity rose up on Friday and Saturday, including the town of Paveh, where protests continued through to Saturday night.

Hengaw confirmed that a large number of troops from the regional headquarters of the IRGC were deployed from Urmia city to the city of Mahabad on Saturday night, warning of an impending massacre. Videos by Hengaw showed large numbers of Toyota pickup trucks packed with guards on the road reportedly heading to Mahabad.

At least 84 Kurdish protesters have been killed since the death of Mahsa (Zhina) Amini in the custody of the morality police on September 16 which sparked the countrywide protest movement. The number of protesters killed across the country as of Friday evening stood at 402, including 58 children and teenagers, according to a tally provided by US-based Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA).

The crackdown continued across Iran as tens of universities defied the regime crackdown and protested against the regime. A banner of General Qasem Soleimani was symbolically taken down at Kurdistan University in Sanandaj and set on fire by students on Saturday.

The heads of the judiciary, the legislature, and executive branches of the state on Saturday met in Tehran and once again emphasized that the crackdown should continue against protesters.

Lord High Potentate and Supreme Leader of All He Surveys Ali Khamenei
...the very aged actual dictator of Iran, successor to Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini...
met with a group of people from Isfahan and stated that the "rioters" want to exhaust the officials of the Islamic Theocratic Republic with the protests but the "riots will be swept up". Khamenei added that the enemies of the Islamic Theocratic Republic are fomenting the unrest because they are not happy with Iran’s progress.

Kurdish sources reported that general strike continues across the Kurdish areas on Sunday.

32 YPG and PKK fighters killed in a military Turkish operation today
[PUBLISH.TWITTER]

The Counter-Terrorism Group in the Kurdistan Region announced that dozens were killed and injured in the Ottoman Turkish operation launched earlier today.

A statement by the Group said that the Ottoman Turkish army carried out more than 25 raids on YPG and PKK sites on the outskirts of Hasakah, villages in Aleppo, Raqqa, Kobani, north Syria, Qandeel mountain, Mawat sub-district villages, Korek mountain the outskirts of Biradawst, and mount Athos.

It added that 32 YPG and PKK fighters were killed until the moment.

A security source in al-Sulaymaniyah reported that Ottoman Turkish aircraft targeted sites of the Kurdistan Workers Party in Qandeel mountain.

The extent of the damages is not immediately clear.

The Ottoman Turkish defence ministry said early on Sunday it carried out air strikes on Kurdish murderous Moslem bases in northern Syria and northern Iraq, which it said were used to carry out attacks on The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire...
The strikes targeted bases of the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) and the Syrian Kurdish YPG forces, which Turkey says is a wing of the PKK, the ministry added in a statement.

More than 50 aircraft and 20 pilots participated in the operation, according to AHarb Ottoman Turkish Channel.

Turkey said on Tuesday it plans to pursue targets in northern Syria after it completes a cross-border operation against the PKK in Iraq, following a deadly bomb last weekend in Istanbul.

The government has blamed Kurdish Lions of Islam for the blast on Istanbul's Istiklal Avenue on Nov. 13 that killed six people and injured more than 80. No group has grabbed credit for the blast on the busy pedestrian avenue, and the PKK and SDF have denied involvement.

Turkey has conducted three incursions so far into northern Syria against the YPG. President Tayyip Erdogan has previously said Turkey could conduct another operation against the YPG.
