Kamala Harris So Disliked Nation Considering Hillary Clinton
[Babylon Bee] Recent national indicators have hinted that the Biden Administration may not be as popular as hoped. These revelations have forced strategists for the Democrat party to face the truth that Vice President Kamala Harris is so disliked, the nation would rather consider Hillary Clinton.

"National polls, which never lie, have shown that Americans would prefer Hillary Clinton over Kamala Harris, which is pretty bad," said political pollster Stanlip Bilksmear, "Even more disturbing, they both polled worse than ’The propped up corpse of serial killer John Wayne Gacy.’ That wasn’t even an option in our poll; Americans wrote it in."

Bilksmear explained that shifts toward favorability of previously-hated politicians are not uncommon, due to peoples’ tendency to forget the harsh nastiness of some public figures. "Voters seem to have already forgotten that Hillary Clinton is as likable as a tapeworm."

A spokesperson for the Vice President denied rumors that Harris was disliked, but would not comment further because he had already quit.

China-Japan-Koreas
Taiwan Adds Minelaying Ships to Defenses Against China
[Real Clear Defense] Taiwan on Friday commissioned new navy minelayers to add to its defenses against giant rival China.

President Tsai Ing-wen presided over a commissioning ceremony for the navy’s First and Second Mining Operations Squadrons, which will operate ships able to automatically sow large numbers of small but powerful mines at high speed without the need for divers.

Such technologies are part of a strategy to deter any possible invasion from China, with its huge army and vast superiority in numbers of warplanes, ships and other weaponry.

China claims Taiwan as its own territory, and has stepped up its threat to bring it under its control by force if necessary with frequent military exercises and by dispatching fighter jets and other planes to fly near the island.

The initial order of four ships manufactured by Lungteh Shipbuilding is part of a drive by Tsai to revitalize the domestic arms industry and reduce Taiwan’s dependence on chief ally the United States for defensive weapons. Lungteh also produces missile corvettes, patrol boats and other craft for the Taiwanese armed forces and police, along with ones for civilian use.

The automatic mine laying system was developed by Taiwan’s Chung Shan Institute of Science and Technology.

[Daily Caller] Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares fired 30 staff members, 17 of whom were attorneys, Friday, according to the Richmond Times-Dispatch.

Virginia’s new Attorney General has just fired the entire civil rights division in the AG office and announced that he will prosecute criminal cases in jurisdictions where Soros DAs decline to prosecute.

Miyares was sworn into the position of Virginia Attorney General on Jan. 15 alongside Republican Governor Glenn Youngkin, according to the Richmond Times-Dispatch.

"During the campaign, it was made clear that now Attorney General-elect Miyares and Attorney General Herring have very different visions for the office," Miyares spokesperson Victoria LaCivita said, according to the Richmond Times-Dispatch. "We are restructuring the office, as every incoming AG has done in the past."

-Short Attention Span Theater-
Supreme Court Sets Dangerous Precedent Of Letting The American People Make Medical Decisions For Themselves
[Babylon Bee] U.S.—The SCOTUS has struck down Biden’s vaccine mandates on the grounds that they are unconstitutional. Experts say this sets a dangerous precedent of letting individuals make their own medical decisions.

"What am I supposed to do now that I don’t have private companies working with the Federal government to force me to inject a foreign substance into my body?" said Linda Waddlebum, a concerned mother of 6 cats. "So dangerous and shortsighted. How will I stay healthy? I don’t even recognize this America anymore."

In response to the court’s decision, a large group of protestors has gathered outside of the Supreme Court building. "Pfizer knows best! What they inject, I can’t object!" they chanted while ripping up copies of the constitution. "Give us petty tyranny or give us death! Abolish the Supreme Court!"

"You can’t give people choices! What if they make the wrong one? One that isn’t what I wanted them to do?" said Waddlebum. "Next thing you know, people will decide to send their kids back to school and return to work in person without masks."

At publishing time, people were dangerously continuing on with their lives making the best medical decisions possible for themselves and their families. They were even able to make these decisions without fear of losing their livelihood.

The Dimming, Full Length Climate Engineering Documentary
[Geo Engineering Watch] GeoeongineeringWatch.org is pleased to announce the release of our groundbreaking documentary that conclusively exposes the existence of global weather intervention operations.

Global weather engineering operations are a reality. Atmospheric particle testing conducted by GeoengineeringWatch.org has now proven that the lingering, spreading jet aircraft trails, so commonly visible in our skies, are not just condensation as we have officially been told. Who is responsible for carrying out these programs? What will the consequences be if geoengineering / solar radiation management operations are allowed? THE DIMMING documentary will provide answers to these questions and many more. This is the most complete GeoengineeringWatch.org documentary regarding climate engineering operations. Thank you for viewing and for notifying others of The Dimming film release.

Egypt arrests member of US-designated terror group after plane’s emergency landing
[IsraelTimes] Egyptian authorities announce the arrest of a prominent member of a US-designated terrorist group. According to government media, the suspect was detained after a The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire...
-bound flight from Sudan that he was on made an emergency landing in Egypt.

The Interior Ministry says in a statement that a man, identified as Hossam Menoufy, was arrested earlier in the week, but doesn’t provide further details.

A man with that name is known to be a member of HASM,
.... also in our archives as Hasem and Hasam (Hands of Egypt, or possibly Decisiveness). One of the the NeverSisi militant arms of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, their preferred targets are Christians and soldiers/police in the Cairo area. It sprang into existence, fully formed, in 2016, inheriting personnel from previous MB armed factions and apparently organized by Mohammed Kamel, who was responsible for MB special cells until he was killed by security forces in a hail of gunfire about the time Hasm appeared... ...
a group previously implicated in several deadly holy warrior attacks in Egypt. Authorities also say that HASM was responsible for a boom-mobileing outside an Egyptian hospital that killed 20 people in 2019.

HASM, which the United States designated a terrorist group in 2018, is considered to be a splinter of the Moslem Brüderbund group. Egypt has long banned and declared the Brotherhood a terrorist organization.

Egypt has been waging a campaign against the Brotherhood since the country’s military in 2013 removed President Mohammed Morsi, who hailed from the group, after massive protests against his rule. Under President Abdel Fattah el-Sissi, thousands of Brotherhood members but also other Islamists and many secular dissidents have been tossed in the clink
Don't shoot, coppers! I'm comin' out!
. al-Sissi’s government has also continued to fight Islamic gunnies in the Sinai Peninsula.

Menoufy was sentenced in absentia in 2017 to life in prison, along with hundreds of others, for alleged involvement in the attempted liquidation of a top judiciary official, according to the government-run al-Akhbar al-Youm newspaper.

HASM also grabbed credit for the attack that killed an Egyptian National Security Agency officer and an attack that attempted to kill Egypt’s former top religious leader, Grand Mufti Ali Gomaa.
Al Ahram adds:
The arrested passenger, according to media reports, was handed in 2017 a death sentence in absentia for establishing Hasm movement, which claimed responsibility for a number of attacks against Egyptian security personnel in the years following the ouster of the Muslim Brotherhood regime in 2013.

The Hasm member was on Flight J4690 which had to make an emergency landing in Upper Egypt's Luxor because of a smoke alarm from the cargo compartment, the flight operator, Sudan's privately owned Badr Airlines, said in a statement on Saturday.

The statement added that in such cases the plane must make an emergency landing in the nearest airport in compliance with the aviation laws, saying "the landing was performed seamlessly at Luxor International Airport in Egypt."

The plane was inspected, the company said, adding that the smoke warning was found to be false and therefore it sent the plane for maintenance in Bratislava, Slovakia, to adjust the alarm system, flying an alternative plane for the passengers to continue the trip.

As per aviation laws, embarking on another plane makes the Egyptian authorities part of the process. Hence, the passenger was arrested, the company added.

Badr Airline asserted that it "has no connection with the actions taken by the Egyptian authorities [against the passenger], and that this does not fall within its responsibility."

The company is not aware of the reasons behind the arrest, the statement concluded.

Egyptian security forces have arrested and killed dozens of members of the terrorist group, which is placed on the terror list of Egypt, the UK, and the US.

The Egyptian authorities has tied the group to the banned Muslim Brotherhood group.

Turkey, whose government was a close ally to Hasm, has harboured several Muslim Brotherhood members after the ouster of Islamist president Mohamed Morsi on 30 June 2013, which led to the deterioration of relations between Egypt and Turkey.

It's a little tube about half the size of a ball point pen. It's actually used to test the smoke detectors. The fumes they give off are almost invisible, but they trip the smoke alarm.

Twitter bans account linked to Iran’s leader over video threatening Trump
[IsraelTimes] Twitter says it has permanently suspended an account linked to Iran’s supreme leader that posted a video calling for Dire Revenge for a top general’s liquidation against former US president Donald Trump
...Oh, noze! Not him!...
"The account referenced has been permanently suspended for violating our ban evasion policy," a Twitter spokesperson tells AFP.

The account, @KhameneiSite, this week posted an animated video showing an unmanned aircraft targeting Trump, who ordered a dronezap in Baghdad two years ago that killed top Iranian commander General Qassem Soleimani
.

Lord High Potentate and Supreme Leader of All He Surveys Ayatollah Ali Khamenei
...the very aged actual dictator of Iran, successor to Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini...
’s main accounts in various languages remain active. Last year, another similar account was suspended by Twitter over a post also appearing to reference Dire Revenge against Trump.

The recent video, titled "Revenge is Definite," was also posted on Khamenei’s official website.

According to Twitter, the company’s top priority is keeping people safe and protecting the health of the conversation on the platform. The social media giant says it has clear policies around abusive behavior and will take action when violations are identified.

As head of the Quds Force, the foreign operations arm of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards, Soleimani was the architect of its strategy in the Middle East. He and his Iraqi lieutenant were killed by a US dronezap outside Baghdad airport on January 3, 2020. Khamenei has repeatedly promised to avenge his death.

SDF warn of ISIS financing operations in Rojava
[Rudaw] The Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) are wary of the international community seemingly turning a blind-eye on the Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
’s (ISIS) smuggling networks in Ottoman Turkish-controlled areas in northern Syria (Rojava), the force said on Friday.

In a blurb, the SDF said it was vigilant about the presence of militias in the region enabling the increasing presence of ISIS smuggling networks operating in and around the town of Sari Kani (Ras al-Ain).

One such militia allegedly supporting the activities of ISIS is the "Abu al-Qa'qaa" faction. Militias such as the "Abu al-Qa'qaa" function as networks facilitating the smuggling of people into The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the decaying remnant of the Ottoman Empire...
and using the funds to finance ISIS activities, according to the SDF.

The Kurdish-led force also expressed concern with "international inaction" with regards to the criminal networks in the Ottoman Turkish-occupied areas, warning about the growing danger of the terrorist organization and claiming such activities will "impede efforts to combat terrorism".

The SDF is the US-led coalition's main ally in the fight against ISIS in Syria.

ISIS conducted over 300 terrorist operations in northern Syria in 2021, killing hundreds. The terrorist group's re-emergence is raising significant concern and threatening the area's security.

Last November, an alleged ISIS financier was arrested in Syria's eastern province of Deir ez-Zor.

IED explosion rocks Syrian opposition headquarters in Afrin
[Rudaw] At least one was killed and a further injured when a powerful explosion struck the headquarters of the Ottoman Turkish-backed Syrian Front for Liberation on Saturday, reported media outlets.

An explosion hit the headquarters of Ottoman Turkish-backed forces in Jindires district in Afrin, Hawar News Agency (ANHA) reported.

North Press Agency (NPA) also confirmed the news, saying two members of the al-Mu'tasem faction, linked with the Syrian Front for Liberation were killed when an IED explosion detonated in the area. Significant material damages were also reported.

Afrin is a Kurdish-majority region located in northwestern Syria. It has seen many deadly bombings since the invasion of Ottoman Turkish forces and their Syrian proxies in 2018, expelling the Kurdish People's Protection Units (YPG) and forcefully displacing much of the population, committing what the United Nations
...aka the Oyster Bay Chowder and Marching Society...
describes as possible war crimes.

The Kurdish population fell by more than 60 percent in only the first two years of the invasion, according to the Afrin-based Human Rights Organization.

"According to the latest statistics that we have received, the size of the indigenous population of Kurds in the Afrin region reached 34.8 percent in January, while they previously made up 97 percent of the population," read a statement from the organization published in April 2020.

The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the occupiers of Greek Asia Minor...

Ankara considers the SDF a branch of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), an gang struggling for greater political and cultural rights for Kurds in Turkey, and labels them a threat to its national security.

Philippine Troops Kill 4 Blamed for Fatal Bus Bombing
[BenarNews] Troops killed the alleged leader of an Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
-linked holy warrior cell and three others blamed for a bus bombing that killed a 5-year-old boy earlier this week during a shootout on Saturday in the Southern Philippines, the military said.

The soldiers shot and killed Norodin Hassan and his men near the town of Carmen in Cotabato province, said Maj. Gen. Juvymax Uy, commander of the Army’s 6th Infantry Division.

The military identified Hassan (also known as Andot) as the leader of military affairs for the Daulah Islamiyah-Hassan Group. Daulah Islamiyah is the Filipino name for the Islamic State.

"The death of alias Andot and three of his cohorts only shows that justice is given to the victims of the Mindanao Star Bus bombing," Uy said in a statement.

The military identified two of the other three killed as Abdonillah Hassan and Abdonhack Hassan. Officials did not say if the turbans were related or if any soldiers were maimed in the shootout.

Soldiers recovered high-caliber automatic rifles, mobile phones, radios and "subversive documents with high intelligence value," the military said.

The Army’s 602nd Infantry Brigade commander said troops had received a tip about the holy warriors.

"After we identified the perpetrators who were responsible for the bombing attack, we immediately launched the manhunt operation to prevent them from doing similar atrocities in other areas, thus preventing further loss of lives and damage to properties," Col. Jovencio Gonzales said in a statement.

The bus had been traveling from the southern city of Davao, President Rodrigo Duterte’s hometown, along the highway near Aleosan town where the blast occurred early Tuesday, killing the boy and injuring six others, including the boy’s father and two younger siblings.

Several IS-linked turbans have been killed since late 2021, including Salahuddin Hassan, identified as a top lieutenant in the southern Mindanao region under Philippine leader Hatib Hajan Sawadjaan. Military intelligence officials have said they believe Sawadjaan was killed in a clash in 2020 although his body was not recovered.

"Our continuous effort to go after these terrorist groups has been unyielding. There will be no let-up and slowing down against these forces of Evil who continue to attack civilian populace, properties and communities," Uy said.

office urged the Æthiopian authorities to ensure the protection of civilians, saying disproportionate attacks hitting non-military targets could amount to war crimes.

Northern Æthiopia has been beset by conflict since November 2020 when Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed sent troops into Tigray after accusing the region’s ruling party, the Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF), of attacks on federal army camps.

"We are alarmed by the multiple, deeply disturbing reports we continue to receive of civilian casualties and destruction of civilian objects resulting from airstrikes in Æthiopia’s Tigray region," rights office spokeswoman Liz Throssell told news hounds in Geneva.

"At least 108 civilians have reportedly been killed and 75 others injured since the year began, as a result of airstrikes allegedly carried out by the Æthiopian air force."

She detailed a series of airstrikes, including the January 7 attack on the Dedebit camp for internally displaced persons, which left at least 56 dead and 30 others maimed, of which three later died in hospital.

On Monday, 17 civilians were reportedly killed and 21 injured after an airstrike hit a flour mill, and on Tuesday, the state-owned Technical Vocational Education and Training institute was hit, reportedly killing three men, said Throssell.

Numerous other airstrikes were reported last week, she added.

"We call on the Æthiopian authorities and their allies to ensure the protection of civilians and civilian objects, in line with their obligations under international law," said Throssell.

"Failure to respect the principles of distinction and proportionality could amount to war crimes."

Meanwhile,

the UN’s World Food Programme said its distributions were at an all-time low, with the escalation of the conflict meaning that no WFP convoy has reached the Tigrayan capital Mekele since mid-December.

"After 14 months of conflict in northern Æthiopia, more people than ever need urgent food assistance.

"With no food, no fuel, no access, we are on the edge of a major humanitarian disaster."

How Google RIGGED the online ad market: US tech giant is accused of manipulating ad auctions to increase Google's win rates and allocate ad spend to preferred clients - losing publishers up to 40% of revenue while raking in $370m-a-year
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news]
  • Google began a secret advertising program called Project Bernanke in 2013

  • This allegedly rigged market by dropping second-highest bids from auctions

  • Firm then pooled money before allocating it to favoured publishers, it's claimed

  • This allegedly gave Google and its bidders an unfair advantage in the market

#1  Well no shit. They run the auction AND they participate in it -- on both sides.

And it's totally opaque. Only Goggle/DoubleClick has the data about the bids - which one won, how many there were at other prices, bidding trends etc. It's not shared with anyone.

Congress made this legal -- solely in the programmatic advertising industry. Imagine if the trades on NYSE or NASDAQ were opaque, with one market maker only, both running the exchange and controlling both the buy side and the sell side, and never revealing the bid/ask spread for executed trades.

That's what our idiot rulers did in the $100 billion + programmatic as industry. Is it any wonder the Bathhouse Admin and Google's exec ranks were a revolving door? 345 WH meetings between the two.

NSCDC Rivers Anti-vandals Unit Suspended After Governor Wike's Outburst
Wike accused the NSCDC unit and police of aiding and abetting vandals and illegal bunkers to carry out their nefarious activities in the state.

[SAHARAREPORTERS] The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps has disbanded the Anti-vandal Unit of the Rivers State Command of the corps following allegations by the governor of the state, Nyesom Wike.

Some weeks ago, Wike accused the NSCDC unit and police of aiding and abetting vandals and illegal bunkers to carry out their nefarious activities in the state.

Reacting to this, the NSCDC Commandant General, Ahmed Audi, in a statement on Saturday expressed shock over the allegations as he ordered the suspension of the head of the anti-vandal team and the disbandment of the unit.

The statement issued by the NSCDC’s Director of Public Relations, Olusola Odumosu, reads, "Worried by this disappointing development, the CG has ordered the suspension of the head of the anti-vandal team and the disbandment of the unit with immediate effect, pending the outcome of an independent inquiry set up to look into the weighty allegations levelled against the unit by the governor."

Audi also ordered the Acting DCG in charge of investigation and intelligence to summon all the personnel involved to the national headquarters in Abuja for further investigation to determine the level of involvement and or culpability to dispense justice appropriately.

He also said the allegations as not being in tandem with his vision for the corps, stressing that he won’t condone any criminal act or act of compromise by any personnel.

He assured Governor Wike of getting to the root of the matter without delay, promising more synergy with the state government towards discharging more effective service delivery to the good people of Rivers State.

He said, "The swift action taken by me is to close any identified gaps in our operations and service to the nation, I will not tolerate any act of indiscipline, compromise or sabotage under any guise; our founding fathers have worked so hard to earn a good name for the service as a noble organization and I will not allow a few bad eggs to spoil our name, image, our credibility, and integrity. We will investigate those fingered in the allegations and deal decisively with them if found guilty to serve as a deterrent to others.

Crimefighter exodus: Manhattan prosecutors flee DA office after Bragg takes helm
[NYPOST] Prosecutors in soft-on-crime Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office are flooding the exits amid his "radical shift in policy," The Post has learned.Bragg’s controversial "Day One" memo issued on Jan. 3 told assistant district attorneys to not seek prison sentences for many criminals and to downgrade some felonies to misdemeanors. His leadership has already created a firestorm that has led to an online petition calling for him to be removed.

"I know one [ADA] who was with the office over 20 years who left without a job," said a law enforcement source. "They didn’t want to work in this kind of office. They wanted to continue prosecuting the law."

Over the past two weeks, at least a dozen lawyers have quit.
Not all Democrats are his kind of Democrat even today, it appears. It’s like he’s the Kamala Harris of New York City.
Among the departures is senior trial counsel Joan Illuzzi-Orbon, who successfully prosecuted Harvey Weinstein, and won a 2016 conviction in the infamous 1979 murder of Etan Patz.

Illuzzi-Orbon, a Republican, had been at the office since 1988, taking only a brief leave in 2015 for an unsuccessful run for District Attorney in Staten Island.
Technically not a Democrat then, making her survival in the job until now even more impressive.

Islamic Emirate Faces Shortage of Professional Staff: Report
[Tolo] Hard to believe, I know
The Islamic Emirate is facing a shortage of professional staff, the New York Times reported, saying that many of the officials in government posts lack professional skills.

The report said that "many of the selected theologians are graduates of Darul Uloom Haqqania madrasa, one of Pakistan’s oldest and largest Islamic seminaries."

"Government jobs are given as patronage to ex-fighters and exiles living quietly in Pakistan. But not all possess the technical skills required for the job," the report read.

However, the Islamic Emirate denied the report.

"We deny the report of the New York Times that says the Islamic Emirate is faced with a shortage of staff..." said Bilal Karimi, deputy spokesman for the Islamic Emirate.

Wahidullah Hashimi, a senior member of the Islamic Emirate's council for training and educating soldiers, relates the staffing problems to the corruption in the former government, as well as to the plot of foreigner’s to drain Afghanistan of talent.

"Foreigners intentionally evacuated Afghans, most importantly, the educated and professional ones, to weaken the Islamic Emirates and undermine our administration," Hashimi said as quoted by the New York Times. "We are in touch with some Afghans in different parts of the world and are encouraging them to return to Afghanistan because we desperately need their help and expertise to help their people and government."

Political analysts say that professional individuals should be appointed to senior government positions.

"The Islamic Emirate should trust the professional individuals and appoint them to senior government posts and include them in decision-making. This helps with professionalism and recognition," said Toreq Farhadi, a political analyst.

After the fall of the former government, many high-profile and talented youth left the country.

Admin Threatens to Rescind COVID Funding From Arizona Over Anti-Mask Mandate Rules
[Epoch Times] The Biden administration issued a letter to Arizona threatening to take back COVID-19 relief funds sent to the state, saying Arizona’s provisions discourages schools from mandating masks.
Delighting Blue States and irritating Red States everywhere. The Great Uniter.
In a letter (pdf) sent Jan. 14, the Treasury Department warned Arizona state that it has 60 days to remove or redesign the anti-mask-mandate provisions the Biden administration deems "inconsistent with the purpose and requirements" of the Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF) program.
In 60 days, no one will care as the pandemic winds down.
Failure to do so "may result in Treasury initiating an action to recoup SLFRF funds used in violation of the eligible uses," and the department "may also withhold funds from the State of Arizona’s second tranche installment of SLFRF funds."

Algeria prepares for war with Morocco, panics due to Israel - report
One would feel for them, truly, but they, too, could have chosen the benefits of peace and comity with Israel. Even de facto peace, such as Saudi Arabia’s current posture, has distinct benefits.
[Jpost] In November, Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz signed the first-ever defense and security memorandum of understanding with his Moroccan counterpart.

Algeria is in a state of acute anxiety and paranoia over the growing military cooperation between Israel and the Moroccan military.
a state of acute anxiety and paranoia being their natural condition
“The tension rises every day a little more between Algeria and Morocco, to the point that we are now talking about war between the two Maghreb countries,” according to a recent report in the Paris-based newspaper L’Opinion.

Villagers protest against Iranian factions presence in Syria's Deir ez-Zor
[NPASYRIA] On Saturday, residents of seven villages in the northern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, east Syria, protested against the presence of the Syrian government forces and the Iranian-backed factions in their regions.

The protests, which took place in the town of al-Izba, north of Deir ez-Zor, were attended by the US-led Global Coalition.

Through loudspeakers, the protesters demanded the Global Coalition expel the Iranian factions from their villages.

The protesters held banners that had the phrases "There is no stability in the country with presence of Assad" and "Right of return."

"We are calling on the Global Coalition to secure our right to return to our villages," Abdullah al-Jleb, 30, a civil activist and one of the protest organizers, told North Press in an audio recording.

Al-Jleb, who comes from the village of al-Salihiya, one of the villages controlled by Iranian-backed forces, added that "We will not accept the presence of Iran, Russia and the Syrian government, as they are partners in the bleeding of Syrian blood."

The seven villages are al-Husseiniya, Murat, Mazloum, al-Salihiya, Hatla Khasham and Tabiya. These villages are controlled by the Syrian government forces and Iranian-backed factions.

The civil activist considered that "Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites....
is an occupying state that has looted our homes and displaced us."

"The series of killings plus security instability will not stop as long as Iran and the Syrian government are present in our region," he noted.

Ondo Women Protest Half-naked Over Insecurity
[SAHARAREPORTERS] Hundreds of women across four local government areas in Ondo State on Saturday protested against worsening security challenges in the area.

The women, who erupted into the streets of Oka Akoko, Akungba Akoko and some other Akoko towns, demanded improved security from the state and federal government.

Recent spate of insecurity in the area include abduction of teachers by button men in Auga Akoko, the killing of a police officer at Oka Akoko last week, and the attack on 17 travellers on Ifira Akoko-Isua Akoko road by armed robbers among others.

Some of the protesters, who held brooms, were half-naked and chanting various solidarity songs along the streets.
"Visit our Youtube and Instagram channels!"
Recall that Amotekun Corps also arrested no fewer than 17 suspected bandidos from the North-West of Nigeria when they stormed Okitipupa area of the state.

The suspected criminals were found with dogs, cutlasses and charms as they wandered in the area without purpose.

It was the distress call by residents of the community to Amotekun operatives that led to their arrest.

Suspect in financing terrorists in Syria and Iraq detained in Moscow
[PUBLISH.TWITTER]

A man suspected of financing a terrorist organization in Syria and Iraq has been detained in Moscow, Yulia Ivanova, a spokeswoman for the Russian Investigative Committee’s Moscow department, told TASS on Friday.

"Thanks to the joint efforts of the Sherlocks of the Russian Investigative Committee’s Moscow department and operations staff, one more man, born in 1978, suspected of a crime, was identified and detained. The search of his apartment yielded bank cards, electronic storage devices, and technical gadgets," she said.

According to the Sherlocks, the suspect joined a community in a mobile app organized by Alim Begiyev, who recruited people in the Moscow region willing to sponsor a terrorist organization in Syria and Iraq. The community numbered some 30 participants, who raised money on their bank cards and transferred it to the accounts of members of an illegal gang taking part in hostilities. The money was used to maintain the logistics arms of terrorist organizations. Bergiyev was earlier sentenced to 17 years in a high-security prison. His accomplices were also found guilty and sentenced to lengthy prison terms.

The case against the detained man is being investigated under part 1.1 of article 205.1 of the Russian Criminal Code (abetting terrorist activities), which carries a punishment of up to life in prison. Charges will soon be brought against the man.

Iraq
After the drone attack on Balad base, Coalition: we have no personnel in the base
[SHAFAQ] The U.S.-led Coalition denied the presence of any of its personnel in Balad, deeming the drone attack on the military base an "attack on Iraqi people".The official Twitter account of the Combined Joint Task Force-Operation Inherent Resolve, said on Saturday, "Attacks on Iraqi installations are attacks on the Iraqi people."

"The Coalition maintains a minimal footprint on Iraqi locations to Advise, Assist, and Enable but has no personnel at Balad," it added, "the Iraqi Security Force has the capability and capacity to protect its installations."

Earlier today, a drone squadron attacked the Balad base in Saladin.

The leading figure in the Kata'ib Hezbollah movement, Abu Ali al-Askari, refuted the official statement of the Iraqi Security Media Cell (SMC) on Saturday morning's attack on the Balad military bases in Saladin.

Abu Ali al-Askari tweeted, "the version of the story told by the Security Media Cell is ridiculous and has many fallacies."

"The drones used in Iraq are only two types: the first is an offensive (suicidal) drone," he explained, "It moves directly toward the target, and it does not have the capability to alter its trajectory or go back to the launching base (single use)."

"The second type is the reconnaissance craft. It cannot operate in foggy weather and it does not need to be close to the target. In fact, it cannot be seen by unarmed eye most of the time."

"[for] reconnaissance, no more than a single drone is needed to do the job. Nevertheless, it is a piloted craft, it has no choice for it to run as the SMC said; similar to your commander and the kids behind him."

Southeast Asia
Beijing clears US bombs before constructing China-Laos railway
[TribunePakistan] Despite ending nearly 50 years ago, US military operations in Laos have left behind a legacy of destruction that still endangers lives today.
When did we go to war with Laos? I don't remember this. Was this under Nixon or LBJ?
On Dec 3, 2021, the China-Laos railway opened to traffic, connecting Kunming in southwest China’s Yunnan province with Lao capital Vientiane.

The railway is a landmark project of China’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). In addition to the extreme construction difficulty and risks of the project, what is less known is that the construction team also faced a deadly threat in the construction process -- a large number of unexploded ordnance (UXO) left by the United States during the Vietnam War are buried along the railway.

Laos, a close neighbour of China, is the only inland country of Southeast Asia, with mountains and plateaus covering 80 per cent of its 236,000 square kilometres.

The project took five years, during which countless hardships were experienced. Not to mention the long negotiation process, the project itself also had extremely rare difficulties and risks, such as poor meteorological and geological conditions, high environmental protection requirements, and even access to no man's land.

But what scared the workers the most was the deadly threat that they faced: a large amount of UXO from US carpet bombing during the Vietnam War, which Laos was embroiled in.

In order to block the Ho Chi Minh Trail, the supply route to the North Vietnamese forces, the United States covertly extended the battlefield into Laos at the instigation of the CIA, flying 580,000 bombing missions between 1964 and 1973, dropping more than two million tonnes of bombs (or 270 million bombs), with most being the dreaded cluster bombs.
Oh. There they are. The CIA. Again.
Within nine years, 270 million bombs in total weighing two million tonnes were dropped on Laos, equalling eight bombs per minute on average. The total number of bombs is more than that dropped during World War II.

At the time, Laos had a population of about two million people, giving each Laotian a tonne of bombs, making it "the most heavily bombed country per capita in human history."

Although the Vietnam War eventually ended, the Lao people are still living in its nightmare of destruction. According to CBS, about 80 million dropped bombs did not explode, which is 30% of the total.

For decades, these unexploded bombs have been a threat to the lives of the Lao people. Some parts of the land in Laos cannot be cultivated because of the bomb threat, and the country's national construction and economic development have been seriously affected.

From 1975 to 2008, more than 50,000 Laotians, many of them children, were killed by unexploded bombs, according to government statistics.

Ironically, the entire amount the US spent on clearing unexploded bombs in Laos between 1995 and 2013 was only equivalent to the cost of three days of bombing during the Vietnam War.
Billions for offense, not one cent for maimed children.
When then US President Barack Obama visited Laos in 2016, he promised an additional $90 million for clearing the unexploded bombs, but did not apologise for the bombing.
The apologizer-in-chief couldn't even apologize.

Afghanistan
Rights of Afghan Women, Girls ‘Under Attack': UN
[Tolo] Pretty quick on the uptake? "Give us money™"
The United Nations Office for Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) on Thursday raised serious concerns about the situation of women and girls in Afghanistan.

OCHA said the Afghan girls and women are deprived of basic rights. "The fundamental rights of Afghan women and girls are under attack," OCHA said. It also said Afghan women and girls need the UN’s support and solidarity now more than ever.

According to the UN office, humanitarian organizations must aim to scale up assistance to women and girls by providing food, healthcare, education, livelihood opportunities and protection services.

OCHA said 11.8 million women and girls need urgent humanitarian assistance in Afghanistan.

OCHA’s tweet follows a gathering of women activists in Kabul on Wednesday night who lit candles during a demonstration. The women said they stayed awake all night and "lit candles for freedom."

Zabihullah Mujahid, the Islamic Emirate spokesman, reacted to the UN’s remarks, calling them baseless. Mujahid in a tweet said that since the Islamic Emirate has been in power, all the people enjoy rights and the UN report on women’s rights is based on "false information."

All people are equal in their original human dignity, obligation and responsibility, without any distinction of race, color, tongue, sex, faith, political beliefs, social status or any other consideration. In fact, following the correct faith is the best guarantee for the development of this dignity and the road to human perfection.

b. All creatures are Allah's subjects and the most favored by Him is the one most beneficent to His dependents, and no one is preferred over another, except on the basis of Taqwa (Piety) and good deeds.
Article 6

a. Woman is equal to man in human dignity, and she has rights much as she has obligations. She has her civil status and independent financial resources, and the right to keep her name and lineage.
b. The man has to carry the burdens of financially supporting his family and be responsible for it and take care of it.

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
Reshaping the geopolitics of Middle East
[SHAFAQ] The prevailing discourse in the United States is becoming dominated by the belief that the Middle East has lost its central position in the strategic calculations of the superpower. USA’s reliance on Middle Eastern oil has significantly reduced since the beginning of an era of uni-polarity; in fact, the US is now one of the biggest oil exporters in the world. Though the Middle East remains an area of secondary concern for the US, as a big chunk of the world’s energy supply comes from the Persian Gulf and stability in this region is necessary to sustain the global oil market and ensure consistency in terms of international economic order.

The primary focus of US foreign policy has shifted to the Asia Pacific region and the rise of China as an economic, military, and tech power. As of now, the US maintains the presence of over forty thousand troops on the ground in almost all Middle Eastern countries except Iran. The American disengagement in the region is not an option, leading to a significant reduction in troops; however, the military footprint has begun, particularly the defense infrastructure. According to reports, the Pentagon is scaling back on eleven Patriot and THAAD antimissile batteries from four regional countries, including Iraq and Saudi Arabia
...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. Fifteen of the nineteen WTC hijackers were Saudis, and most major jihadi commanders were Saudis, to include Osama bin Laden. Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman quietly folded that tent in 2016, doing terrible things to the guys running it, and has since been dragging the kingdom into the current century...
How is the US surviving in the Middle East despite reduced influence?

Bomb found at New Delhi flower market
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Indian bomb disposal experts cordoned off a busy flower market in the capital New Delhi Friday after finding an improvised bomb left in an abandoned bag, police said.

"The site is under a police cordon and we have recovered an IED (Improvised Explosive Device)," a police officer told AFP.

"Everything else including who left the bag there and the kind of explosive inside the bag is a matter of investigation."

Police commissioner Rakesh Asthana told the NDTV news channel the bag was left behind by a customer who visited a shop to buy flowers at the Ghazipur wholesale flower market.

Media reports said police carried out a controlled explosion.

Caucasus/Russia/Central Asia
Kazakhstan: Losses of Black January
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.

Commentary by Russian military journalist Boris Rozhin

[ColonelCassad] Preliminary official data on the victims of the events in Kazakhstan.

The dead (who were admitted to morgues) - 225 people (of which one is a citizen of the Russian Federation, as well as 19 policemen and security officials), of which 176 died in hospitals.

Wounded and injured - 4,578 people (265 of them in hospitals, 67 of them in intensive care).

Of the more than 8,000 detainees following the riots and the attempted coup, 446 people were arrested. 540 criminal cases were initiated.

The figure of 20,000 militants (only in Alma-Ata) did not find any statistical confirmation.

These are still preliminary figures, but it is expected that they will not change very much.

In general, following the events, the following questions remain:

1. Where is Nazarbayev?
2. What did Nazarbayev do from 1 to 10 January.
3. How much was actually the "combat asset" to which Alma-Ata surrendered?
4. Who exactly sent this "asset"?
5. What external forces were in contact with those who controlled the process in Kazakhstan?
6. Who exactly gave the order to hand over the guns (especially the guns of the KNB)?
7. What were the tasks of a group of militants who seized the airport in Alma-Ata?
8. Where did the bulk of the militants deploy from?

From other things in Kazakhstan.

1. Lukashenko said that they developed the CSTO operation in Kazakhstan together with Putin in an hour.

2. The withdrawal of the CSTO troops from Kazakhstan will be completed by January 20.

3. The Deputy Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan and a number of people were arrested for 2 months for increasing gas tariffs, which led to protests.

-Lurid Crime Tales-
Deranged man pushes Asian woman to death at Times Square subway station
[NYPOST] A deranged homeless man allegedly shoved an Asian woman to her death in front of an oncoming subway train Saturday morning in Times Square, police said. The horrifying episode unfolded at 9:40 a.m. just nine minutes after the man was caught on video on the platform at the Times Square station at West 42nd Street and Broadway, police said.

The 40-year-old woman was waiting on the southbound platform when she was shoved onto the Q train tracks and hit, police Commissioner Keechant Sewell said in a late afternoon press briefing in the station.

"This incident was unprovoked and the victim does not appear to have any interaction with the subject," Sewell said.

The suspect had first approached another woman, who was not Asian, who became alarmed and moved away, said Assistant Chief Jason Wilcox of the NYPD Detective Bureau.

"She feels that he was about to physically push her onto the train," he said. "As she’s walking away she witnesses the crime where he pushes our other victim in front of the train."

Demonstrators block a main road in Dhi Qar
[SHAFAQ] Dozens of angry demonstrators in Dhi Qar blocked the road linking the governorate's capital city, Nasiriyah, to its northern districts, on Sunday morning.

Shafaq News Agency correspondent said that a group of locals from "al-Hamam" village used burning tires to block the traffic movement, causing a jam.

"The demonstrators demanded providing their hometown the same services offered to the rest of the towns in the governorate," our correspondent said.

Bodies of IS Fighters Left to Rot in Libya for Years
[LIBYAREVIEW] Hundreds of bodies of Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
fighters killed in Libya years ago are rotting in food freezers in in western Libya, according to Rooters.Stored in a dusty corner of a compound outside Misrata, the 742 bodies were gathered in 2016 from battlefields and informal graves, but there was no agreement on how or where they should be buried.

Instead, Libya’s conflict rumbled on, frontlines shifted, governments changed, and financial crises came and went. The corpses, meanwhile, began to decompose, as power supplies to refrigerated containers were interrupted.
Ewwwwwwwww
"Power cuts for long periods make the situation, the bad smell, worse," Salah Ahmed of the police unit handling the compound told Rooters.

Originally assembled for identification and proper burial, even those fighters identified by documents or former comrades remain uncollected by foreign states or family members. This has left it up to the government to dispose of them.

The police unit running the compound says the interim government has assigned a budget to bury the bodies soon.
“You have a total of $0.00, Sergeant Sa’id. Make it count.”
“Yessir, Your Immenseness. May I borrow some prisoners to dig a big hole in the desert and pile rocks on top afterward? Then all I’ll need is some shovels or pickaxes and some old baskets to move the dirt — I seen a TV special about archeologists in Egypt.”
Neither a date, nor a location have been announced.

One plan that assigned a burial ground in the city of Sirte, which IS seized in 2015 and held for over a year, was thwarted when frontlines moved. Another, to bury them at a cemetery originally dedicated to migrants colonists who died while trying to cross through Libya and on to Europe, was cancelled because it was not big enough.

When Libyan forces overran the group in Sirte in late 2016, after months of fighting, hundreds of bad boys’ bodies were left under the rubble or in shallow graves their comrades had dug.

The previous government ordered bodies to be collected from the rubble and exhumed from mass graves for identification, and return to their countries of origin or Libyan families. It also wanted to gather evidence of the flow of foreign jihadists into Libya.

Using documents and photographs, and by speaking to captured bad boys, the authorities identified over 50 of the bodies. These were mostly from Arab and African countries, but also identifications of a British woman and a French child were made.

Now the police looking after the bodies say they hope the interim government can find a solution quickly. Four of the ten refrigerator units are not working, leading to the moving of bodies to the functioning units.

No technocrats in the new government, source says
[SHAFAQ] A source close to the Sadrist Movement revealed on Saturday that the next government would be shared by the winning parties in the parliamentary elections, including the Sadrist bloc, stressing that it will not be a technocratic government.

The source told Shafaq News Agency, "The personalities who will manage the ministries in the new government will be a well-known political figure, not independent nor technocrats."

"According to the political agreement among the political forces, the ministerial portfolios in the next government will be distributed according to the electoral entitlements and the number of parliamentary seats."

The source said, "the new government will be consisted of 21 ministries and has been classified into three groups: A, B, and C."

"Group A is the four sovereign ministries: Foreign Affairs, Finance, Oil, and Electricity."

"Group B is the eight medium ministries: Interior, Defense, Planning, Health, Trade, Justice, Education, and Higher Education."

"Group C includes nine service ministries: Industry and Minerals, Communications, Agriculture, Water Resources, Environment, Construction and Housing, Transport, Human Rights, and State Affairs."

It is worth noting that according to the results of the elections, the Sadrist Movement led by Moqtada Tater al-Sadr
...hereditary Iraqi holy man and leader of a political movement in Iraq. He had his hereditary rival, al-Khoei, assassinated only a few hours after the holy rival's appearance out of exile in 2003. Formerly an Iranian catspaw, lately he's gagged over some of their more outlandish antics, then went back to catspawry...
won 73 seats, followed by the "Progress (Takadum)" Coalition led by Muhammad al-Halbousi with 37 seats. Next, the State of Law Coalition led by former Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki with 33 seats, then the Kurdistan Democratic Party led by Masoud Barzani with 31 seats.

Compared with 2018 results, The al-Fateh Alliance lost 31 seats, taking only 17 seats in the last elections.

The Framework and the Sadrist met frequently, but the main difference between the two sides still occurred.

On the shape of the government, al-Sadr insists on a majority government while the Framework suggested a consensus.

Five Killed, Many Injured, Houses Burnt As Herdsmen Attack Ogun Community
[SAHARAREPORTERS] No fewer than five persons have been reportedly killed as fresh crisis ensued when Fulani
... a peculiarly brutal tribe of Moslem herdsmen infesting Mali, Niger, Nigeria, and probably other places that are light on law and order and heavy on tribal identity...
herdsmen attack farmers in the Imeko-Afon Local Government Area of Ogun State.

It was learnt the Fulani herdsmen and some Ohori farmers engaged one another in a clash at Idofa village, leading to loss of lives and property worth millions of Naira.

According to Daily Post, the residents of Aworo community in the Yewa North Local Government chased the herdsmen from their village to Idofa in Imeko, killing three of them and their cows.

Aworo people had accused the Fulani of destroying their farms and water sources through open grazing of cows, a practice the Ogun State government had banned.

A community leader who spoke on the condition of anonymity said there was a reprisal attack on Thursday after the Aworo people killed the three herdsmen in Idofa.

He said the retaliation led to the death of two Yorubas, one of whom was burnt beyond recognition.

Houses, four maize barns, cycle of violences and other valuables were reportedly set ablaze by the attackers.

"The Aworo people chased the herdsmen from Yewa North to Idofa in Imeko. They killed three of them there and killed their cows.

"On Thursday, the Fulani herdsmen returned in the dead of the night to launch an attack. They killed two persons, set houses and other properties on fire. One of those killed was burnt in a house beyond recognition. It took the intervention of the police and the Amotekun corps to calm the situation

"As we are talking, many Ohoris are injured, hundreds are now displaced at Imeko town. We need the attention of the Federal and the State Governments to take care of the displaced persons," the community leader explained.

As of Friday, it was gathered that many residents of the village had fled for fear of being killed.

The Ogun State Commissioner for Agriculture, Dr Samson Odedina when called said had yet to comment on the matter as the time filing this report.

Meanwhile,
...back at the pond, the radioactive tadpoles grown into frogs. Really big frogs, in fact...
the Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi confirmed the incident on Saturday, assuring that those behind it would be apprehended and brought to book.

"We heard about it. It is an unfortunate incident and we are investigating it. We have called on all stakeholders, including the Fulani communities that have been living in that place, who testified that they did not even know the reason for the attack.

"We are investigating to ensure that those who carried out that dastardly act are apprehended in other not to cause further crisis.

"The situation is under control as more coppers have been deployed to the place. The Commissioner of Police has directed that the Area Commander should take charge of the security situation in the area."

Andrew Giuliani hit in face with flower pot near Penn Station
He has to be better than any of the Democratic candidates as a matter of principle.
[NYPOST] GOP gubernatorial candidate Andrew Giuliani was hit in the face with a flower pot as he tried to break up a fight near Penn Station.

The 35-year-old son of former Mayor Rudy Giuliani told The Post he witnessed a man and a woman having a violent mostly peaceful confrontation last Saturday on 28th Street as he walked to a meeting with Gavin Wax, president of the New York Young Republicans.

"I got between the two of them," Giuliani said. "He had a flower pot. I think it was intended for her but it hit me on the left side of the face. Thankfully it was a plastic pot and not a clay pot. The soil mostly hit me. But I wan’t expecting it. It was a little bit of a shock."

The candidate said he heard the woman screaming "you leave me no money bitch," shortly before the man took a swing at her. Giuliani said the man also threatened to "beat the s—t" out of him as he started calling 911.

Cops arrived on the scene about 15 minutes later and a police report was filed.

"There are no arrests at this time," an NYPD spokesperson said. Giuliani said he was asked to look at a police photo array of possible suspects. He fingered one of them but told cops he couldn’t be 100% sure.

Locals in the area say the uptick in crime has been noticeable over the last five years. The incident was not far from where a violent mostly peaceful perv slashed a man who confronted him about masturbating in front of his wife just days earlier.

Caucasus/Russia/Central Asia
White House: Russia Prepping Pretext for Ukraine Invasion
[An Nahar] U.S. intelligence officials have determined a Russian effort is underway to create a pretext for its troops to further invade Ukraine, and Moscow has already prepositioned operatives to conduct "a false-flag operation" in eastern Ukraine, according to the White House.White House press secretary Jen Psaki
...a valley girl who woke up one morning and found she was spokeswoman for the U.S. Department of State under Obama. A new American success story, under Biden she became spokeswoman for the whole administration, and she was even able to get her sister a job...
said the intelligence findings show Russia is also laying the groundwork through a social media disinformation campaign that frames Ukraine as an aggressor that has been preparing an imminent attack against Russian-backed forces in eastern Ukraine.

Psaki charged that Russia has already dispatched operatives trained in urban warfare who could use explosives to carry out acts of sabotage against Russia's own proxy forces — blaming the acts on Ukraine — if Russian President Vladimir Putin
...President-for-Life of Russia. He gets along well with other presidents for life. He is credited with bringing political stability and re-establishing something like the rule of law, which occasionally results in somebody dropping dead from poisoning by polonium or other interesting substance. The old bunch, without close personal ties to Putin, are in jail or in exile or dead from poisoning by polonium or other interesting substances...
decides he wants to move forward with an invasion.

"We are concerned that the Russian government is preparing for an invasion in Ukraine that may result in widespread human rights
...not to be confused with individual rights, mind you...
violations and war crimes should diplomacy fail to meet their objectives," Psaki said.

Pentagon front man John Kirby described the intelligence as "very credible." A U.S. official, who was not authorized to comment on the intelligence and spoke on condition of anonymity, said much of it was gleaned from intercepted communications and observations of the movements of people.

The U.S. intelligence findings, which were declassified and shared with U.S. allies before being made public, estimate that a military invasion could begin between mid-January and mid-February.

Ukraine is also monitoring the potential use of disinformation by Russia. Separately, Ukrainian media on Friday reported that authorities believed Russian special services were planning a possible false flag incident to provoke additional conflict.

The new U.S. intelligence was unveiled after a series of talks between Russia and the U.S. and its Western allies this week in Europa
...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum...
aimed at heading off the escalating crisis made little progress.

White House national security adviser Jake Sullivan on Thursday said the U.S. intelligence community has not made an assessment that the Russians, who have massed some 100,000 troops on Ukraine's border, have definitively decided to take a military course of action.

But Sullivan said Russia is laying the groundwork to invade under false pretenses should Putin decide to go that route. He said the Russians have been planning "sabotage activities and information operations" that accuse Ukraine of prepping for its own imminent attack against Russian forces in eastern Ukraine.

He said this is similar to what the Kremlin did in the lead-up to Russia's 2014 annexation of Crimea, the Black Sea peninsula that had been under Ukraine's jurisdiction since 1954.

The Crimea crisis came at moment when Ukraine was looking to strengthen ties with the West. Russia had stepped up propaganda that Ukraine's ethnic Russians were being oppressed in eastern Ukraine.

#1  Wow, it's like they're reading out their own playbook in advance.

Remember when their little buddy Georgia attacked Russia? If they'd been in NATO like a lot of people wanted, that would have led to a big shooting war. Just like this business encroaching on the Ukraine and trying to add it to NATO. Without Ukraine as a buffer state, Russia is indefensible.

Which, I guess, is the whole idea. March NATO right up to the steps of Moscow and then kick off an invasion. I wonder if they will remember to bring winter coats this time?

Israel signs secret deal to transfer natural gas to Lebanon — TV
[IsraelTimes] In a first, Israel has signed an agreement to supply natural gas to Lebanon Hezbollahstan
...a formerly French, now an Iranian colony situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel. ...

The network says the deal was brokered by US envoy Amos Hochstein and secretly signed this weekend. It will see Israel transfer gas from the Leviathan field to Jordan, from where it will be sent on to Lebanon by way of Syria.
Everyone gets a cut, but in the end they need Israel’s goodwill as badly as Germany needs Russia’s...
The agreement was approved by the United States and was also coordinated with Russian President Vladimir Putin
...President-for-Life of Russia. He gets along well with other presidents for life. He is credited with bringing political stability and re-establishing something like the rule of law, which occasionally results in somebody dropping dead from poisoning by polonium or other interesting substance. The old bunch, without close personal ties to Putin, are in jail or in exile or dead from poisoning by polonium or other interesting substances...
, according to the report.

It says the deal was partly designed to provide Lebanon an alternative to Iran
...The nation is noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence...
as it seeks to recover from a deep economic crisis.
Another Times of Israel article adds:
However, the network said the move will require repairing and extending a gas line that flows from Syria to Lebanon, which could take several years.
Update from the Times of Israel at 2:30 p.m. ET:
Lebanon’s Energy Ministry denies a report by Israel’s Channel 12 news yesterday that said Israel has signed an agreement to indirectly pump natural gas to Lebanon to aid the crisis-hit nation, calling it “completely untrue.”

“The Ministry of Energy and Water confirms that the gas supply agreement that is being worked on between the Lebanese government and the sisterly Egyptian government clearly and explicitly stipulates that the gas should come from Egypt, which owns large quantities of it, and consumes within the same country more than a hundred times what it will provide to Lebanon,” the ministry says in a statement cited by local media.

“What is being circulated about the fact that the gas will be Israeli gas is totally and completely untrue,” it adds.

n hackers stole around $400 million worth of cryptocurrency through cyberattacks on digital currency outlets last year, blockchain data platform Chainalysis said on Thursday.Pyongyang is under multiple international sanctions over its atomic bomb and ballistic missile developments but analysts say the North has also built up its cyber capabilities with an army of thousands of well-trained hackers who extract finances to fund the state’s weapons programs.

For all the latest headlines follow our Google News channel online or via the app.

In 2021, the hackers launched seven attacks on crypto platforms, extracting assets from "internet-connected ’hot’ wallets" and moving them to North Korean controlled accounts, according to Chainalysis.

"Once North Korea gained custody of the funds, they began a careful laundering process to cover up and cash out," Chainalysis said in a report published on its website.

"These complex tactics and techniques have led many security researchers to characterize cyber actors for the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) as advanced persistent threats."

The report highlighted the rise of Lazarus Group, which gained notoriety in 2014 when it was accused of hacking into Sony Pictures Entertainment as Dire Revenge for "The Interview," a satirical film that mocked leader Kim Pudge Jong-un
...the overweight, pouty-looking hereditary potentate of North Korea. Pudge appears to believe in his own divinity, but has yet to produce any loaves and fishes, so his subjects remain malnourished...
"From 2018 on, The group has stolen and laundered massive sums of virtual currencies every year, typically in excess of $200 million."

The hackers also target a diverse variety of cryptocurrencies, with Bitcoin, the world’s largest digital currency, accounting for only a quarter of stolen assets.

"The growing variety of cryptocurrencies stolen has necessarily increased the complexity of DPRK’s cryptocurrency laundering operation," Chainalysis said.

North Korea’s cyber-program dates back to at least the mid-1990s, but has since grown to a 6,000-strong cyberwarfare unit, known as Bureau 121, that operates from several countries including Belarus, China, India, Malaysia and Russia, according to a 2020 US military report.

The United States imposed new sanctions on North Korea this week following what Pyongyang called hypersonic missile tests on January 5 and 11.

On Friday South Korean and Japanese officials said North Korea fired an unidentified projectile eastward in its third suspected weapons test in just over a week.

Home Front: WoT
Day 2: Armed man holding hostages at Colleyville, Texas, synagogue demands release of convicted terrorist 'sister'. He's dead now
See Day 1 reports here and here. Also discussed yesterday here and here (including a link to audio of the jihadi, so you can judge his accent for yourself, dear Reader)
[NYPOST] An angry, apparently armed man took a rabbi and his congregants hostage at a Texas synagogue Saturday — demanding US authorities release an infamous convicted terrorist known as "Lady al-Qaeda" and even calling a New York rabbi in a bizarre bid for help, according to sources and reports.

The unnamed assailant was initially misidentified as Muhammad Siddiqui, the brother of Pak neuroscientist Aafia Siddiqui
...American-educated Pak cognitive neuroscientist who was convicted of assault with intent to murder her U.S. interrogators in Afghanistan. In September 2010, she was sentenced to 86 years in jug after a three-ring trial. Siddiqui, using the alias Fahrem or Feriel Shahin, was one of six alleged al-Qaeda members who bought $19 million worth of blood diamonds in Liberia immediately prior to 9-11-01. Since her incarceration Paks have taken her to their heart and periodically erupt into demonstrations, while the government tries to find somebody to swap for her...
, who was convicted in Manhattan Federal Court in 2010 of trying to kill US authorities in Afghanistan. She is currently serving an 86-year prison sentence at the Federal Medical Center, Carswell in nearby Fort Worth, according to public records.

A rep for Muhammad Siddiqui later claimed he had nothing to do with the incident, even though the man who stormed Congregation Beth Israel in Colleyville claimed to be Aafia Siddiqui’s brother, according to the Daily Beast.

At some point, the hostage taker — who was caught on the synagogue’s livestream angrily ranting about religion — forced Congregation Beth Israel Rabbi Charlie Cytron-Walker to place a call to Manhattan’s Central Synagogue, a law enforcement source told The Post.

The man demanded to speak to Rabbi Angela Buchdahl, and asked her to use her "influence" to help get Siddiqui released before claiming to have a bomb, the source said.

Buchdahl called 911, the source said. It’s unclear what connection, if any, the 49-year-old Buchdahl has to the Siddiqui case.

Siddiqui is serving an 86-year prison sentence in nearby Fort-Worth, according to public records.

The incident unfolded just after 10:30 a.m. Texas time, according to the Colleyville Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

The live stream had 8,000 viewers before it was cut off at 2 p.m.; during the broadcast, the man could be heard saying, "If anyone tries to enter this building, I’m tellin you ... everyone will die," and could be heard repeating, "I’m going to die. Don’t cry about me," according to the Jerusalem Post.

Police in Colleyville, a community near Dallas-Fort Worth, dispatched a SWAT team to the residential neighborhood surrounding the temple. They warned residents to stay away from the immediate area, according to social media and a tweet by Colleyville police.

The angry man can be heard ranting about religion on the ongoing livestream, the Fort Worth Telegram reported. However,
denial ain't just a river in Egypt...
the video did not show what is taking place in the temple, and it was unclear how many people were in the synagogue, the newspaper reported.

On social media, many were offering prayers for Cytron-Walker, leader of the Reform Jewish congregation that was established in 1999, according to its Facebook page.

The feds claimed the MIT-trained Aafia Siddiqui was an al Qaeda associate when she was arrested in 2008 carrying handwritten plans for a radioactive "dirty bomb," along with a list of New York landmarks.

FBI says no ongoing threat after hostages released

[IsraelTimes] After the hostage situation concluded with the release of all four people who were held at Congregation Beth Israel, a representative for the FBI
...Formerly one of the world's premier criminal investigation organizations, something for a nation to be proud of. Now it's a political arm of the Deep State oligarchy that is willing to trump up charges, suppress evidence, or take out insurance policies come election time...
says there is no ongoing threat.

"I do not have any information right now that indicates that this is part of any kind of ongoing threat," says Matthew Desarno, the special agent in charge of FBI Dallas during a briefing with news hounds at a press staging area a quarter of a mile from the synagogue.

"We obviously are investigating, and will continue to investigate," he says, noting that the area remains an active scene of the crime.

Over 200 law enforcement officers were involved in the hostage situation throughout the day, including a special hostage rescue team of 60 to 70 members who flew in from Washington, DC.

The hostage rescue team breached the synagogue at around 9 p.m., Colleyville Police Chief Mike Miller says.

All of the hostages were adults, he adds.

Area residents who were evacuated from the neighborhood are still not allowed to return home, since the area is an active scene of the crime, a police representative told The Times of Israel.

In recording, hostage taker appears to say synagogue allowed him inside

[IsraelTimes] The hostage taker at a Texas synagogue can apparently be heard saying in a live video from the synagogue that congregants let him into the building.

The synagogue was live streaming a service on Facebook when the incident began and broadcast the first few hours of the crisis.

Facebook removed the video, but in segments that have been posted online, the attacker can be heard speaking, although much of what he says in unintelligible.

At one point, he says "They let me in. I said ’Is this a night shelter?’ and they let me in and they gave me a cup of tea so I do feel bad."

"I like the rabbi, he’s a good guy, I bonded with him, I really like him... I’ve only been here for a couple hours but I can see he’s a good guy," the attacker says.

Soon after the FBI freed four hostages held by a gunman for 11 hours at Congregation Beth Israel in Colleyville, Texas on Saturday, Special Agent in Charge of the Dallas Field Office Matthew Desarno made a truly baffling statement.

Family of Texas synagogue gunman condemns attack, says he had mental health issues

The Blackburn Muslim Community in Britain has confirmed that Faisal Akram, a member of the community, was the gunman who took hostages at a Texas synagogue and died during a rescue operation.

“Faisal Akram has sadly departed from this temporary world and returned to his Creator,” the community says in a Facebook post, urging the public to “let the authorities complete their investigations, have respect for the family and allow them to mourn peacefully.”

A comment on the post features a statement by Akram’s brother, who says the family is “devastated” and that “we as a family do not condone any of his actions and would like to sincerely apologize wholeheartedly to all the victims involved in the unfortunate incident.”

The brother, Gulbar, says the attacker “was suffering from mental health issues,” adding that “we were confident that he would not harm the hostages.”

He claims Akram willingly freed the hostages, saying: “Don’t believe the bull#### in the media, they were released from the fire exit and not rescued.”

“A few minutes later a firefight has taken place and he was shot and killed,” he says. “There was nothing we could have said to him or done that would have convinced him to surrender.

“We would also like to add that any attack on any human being be it a Jew, Christian or Muslim etc is wrong and should always be condemned.”

The article lists to a Facebook post on the subject that I find curious: isn’t the Islamic paradise only for those who die while committing jihad?

Faisal Akram has sadly departed from this temporary world and returned to his Creator. He was the son of Mohammed Malik Akram and the brother of Gulbar, Malik, Nasar, Yassar and Late Gulzameer Akram.
May the Almighty forgive all his sins and bless him with the highest ranks of Paradise. May Allah give strength and patience to his loved ones in dealing with their loss.
There are many stories circulating in the local community so please avoid taking part in the sin of backbiting. Let the authorities complete their investigations, have respect for the family and allow them to mourn peacefully. (Please check out the brother's statement in the comments section).

-Lurid Crime Tales-
At least six people shot outside Oregon concert; suspect not in custody
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Six people were shot during a concert at an event hall in Oregon on Friday night, and the suspected shooter was not yet in jug, police said.Officers responded to the WOW Hall in Eugene after reports of a shooting around 9:30 p.m., police said in a statement.

"What law enforcement found when they came on scene is what you would exactly expect when six people just got shot," Eugene Police Chief Chris Skinner said at a news conference. "People are just trying to get out of here, their friends are on the ground, they’re trying to help."

Six people were taken to the hospital, and at least one of them was at death's door, Skinner said. The extent of the other injuries was not immediately clear.

The shooting happened in a back parking lot outside the venue, police and WOW Hall leaders said.

A concert featuring Lil Bean & Zay Bang, and other artists, was being held at the hall at the time.

Police said no suspect was in jug. Skinner described "chaos" when officers arrived, and said Sherlocks had not received much information from possible witnesses.

WOW Hall released a statement on its website acknowledging the shooting but declining to speculate on any details.

"We at the WOW Hall want to thank all first responders who came so quickly to ensure everyone’s safety and administer first aid," the message said. "We believe all staff and volunteers are safe and accounted for."

Investigators have not determined whether the shooting was random or targeted, the police chief said.

Eugene is located about 110 miles (177 kilometers) south of Portland
...a formerly lovely city in Oregon, governed by an unholy alliance of communists, anarchists, and incompetents. In 2017 the city was named as the fifth most business-friendly in the nation. It took only three years for the city to degenerate to the point where it became a national embarrassment, with antifa and Black Lives Matter bullying taxpayers and occasionally shooting one as an example to the others...
, Oregon.
Yahoo adds:
Eugene police are still searching for the suspect in a mass shooting outside the WOW Hall that sent six people to the hospital Friday night.

Concertgoer Thomas Hiura, who was at the WOW Hall to watch friends perform, said he was on the sidewalk and saw a man with a handgun shoot at people gathered near the back door of the venue.

"I was leaning down over my bicycle, to grab my mask, and my attention was drawn by really loud gunfire," Hiura said. "He shot more than 10 rounds, and I thought about charging him."

"I believe I saw blood on the gravel," he said, noting he saw the suspect, who he described as a young man, run down a street after shooting.

Police have described the suspect as a
MAGA hat wearing White Sup;remacist
male wearing a hoodie but didn't have more detailed information as of Saturday afternoon. The department has set up a dedicated tip line for the shooting, and the FBI
...Formerly one of the world's premier criminal investigation organizations, something for a nation to be proud of. Now it's a political arm of the Deep State oligarchy that is willing to trump up charges, suppress evidence, or take out insurance policies come election time...
is assisting in the investigation.

One person was at death's door and undergoing surgery Friday night, Eugene Police Chief Chris Skinner said at about midnight. That person remained at death's door Saturday afternoon.

Three of the others' injuries were between "serious and critical," while another's were minor, according to Eugene-Springfield Fire front man Mike Caven.

Those people were in stable, pH balanced condition Saturday.

All but one of the people injured — two females and four males — are from out of town and appear to have traveled to Eugene for the concert, police said.

Fed-Ex proposes to install laser-based missile defense system on its cargo planes as a countermeasure against heat-seeking missiles
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news]
  • The FAA is reviewing a proposal from FedEx after they requested a laser-based missile-defense system to be installed on their cargo planes

  • The delivery company applied for approval in October 2019 in order to use their aircrafts as a countermeasure against heat-seeking missiles called MANPADS

  • In addition, the installation of these missiles would allow the package delivery company to fly into otherwise restricted air spaces

  • The transportation agency is still in the process of reviewing the proposal and will offer the public the opportunity to comment on whether or not to approve

And by 'restricted air spaces', we mean contested air spaces, AKA war zones. FedEx has a bunch of planes and experience moving stuff. That could come in handy in the near future.

Along with SAM countermeasures, other popular items today are shore-based anti-ship missile systems and mine-laying ships. Kinda makes you think people are getting their ducks in a row for some big upcoming event. It is probably not the Chinese Olympics, although you can be sure China will send a delegation.

Jan. 6 Defendant Says FBI Tried to Recruit Him to Spy on Oath Keepers
[Epoch Times] Jeremy Brown says his refusal led to 2021 arrest for being at U.S. Capitol on day of violence

A retired U.S. Army Green Beret arrested for being at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, says the FBI tried to recruit him to spy on the Oath Keepers group a few weeks before the violence at the Capitol.

Jeremy M. Brown, 47, who is being held in the Pinellas County Jail in Florida on federal misdemeanor charges related to Jan. 6, told The Epoch Times he believes his arrest and prosecution are payback for his refusal to become a confidential informant.

A federal judge ordered Brown held without bond pending his trial.

Brown said he went to the "Stop the Steal" rally on Jan. 6 dressed in tactical gear to provide security for event organizers and for VIPs who spoke at the rally.

He said FBI agents from the Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF) met with him in late 2020 and asked him to become an informant.

"On Dec. 11, 2020, the exact same Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF) agents that (later) arrested me attempted to recruit me as a confidential informant," Brown said in a letter to The Epoch Times from the Pinellas County Jail. "Their ’pitch’ was intended to gauge my interest in infiltrating law-abiding citizen groups that had no criminal history and certainly were not designated ’terrorist groups.’"

Government Corruption
Andrew C. McCarthy: Seditious Conspiracy Is the Wrong Charge in the Capitol-Riot Prosecutions
Ignoring Mr. McCarthy’s repeated insistence that Donald Trump is an evil lying liar and that Joe Biden won fair and square, ignoring his ignoring of the part the FBI’s many informants and agents provocateur played in the events of the day, he makes a useful point about the January 6 prosecutions. Select paragraphs:
NationalReview] Two elements are indispensable to the crime of seditious conspiracy. First, there must be an agreement to use force, as opposed to protesting peacefully — even if rambunctiously. Second is the concept of levying war against the United States or opposing the lawful authority of the United States. Now that the Justice Department has been goaded into charging members of the Oath Keepers with seditious conspiracy for their participation in the Capitol riot, prosecutors may find that these elements pose insuperable challenges to their case.

The indictment filed Thursday necessitates revisiting this subject. It does not, however, change what I’ve already said about it, back in June: The actions of then-president Donald Trump
...Perhaps no man has ever had as much fun being president of the US...
before and during the riot undermine seditious-conspiracy charges.

US West Coast On Alert Over Volcanic Eruption In Tonga
Yesterday we had dramatic satellite footage of the eruption, today the result.
[SAHARAREPORTERS] The United States has issued a Tsunami alert for the West Coast after a gigantic underwater volcano erupted near Tonga's largest island, Tongatapu, sending a cloud of ash and gas steam into the air.According to Australia’s meteorology bureau, the eruption of Hunga Tonga-Hunga Ha’apai, about 65km north of capital Nuku’alofa, caused a Tsunami measuring 1.2 metres.

On Friday the volcano sent ash, steam and gas up to 20km into the air, Tonga Geological Services said in a Facebook post.

However,
there's more than one way to skin a cat...
there are no immediate reports of injuries or deaths so far in Tonga or elsewhere.

and the surrounding Bay Area warned residents to expect waves of up to three feet throughout the day and potential coastal floods in low-lying areas.

An alert issued afterwards warned locals to get out of the water and stay away from waterfronts, beaches, harbours, marinas and other coastal areas.

Boat operators were told to get their boats at least 180 feet up onto dry land.

"Do not go to the shore to observe the tsunami," it cautioned.

County officials in Berkeley warned, "People in Berkeley Marina, Get Out Of Your Boat And Off The Docks Now. Evacuation Order is due to a tusnami that is scheduled to arrive in Berkeley at 8.10am."

A Tsunami advisory means that strong currents and dangerous waves are imminent and people should stay out of the water.

It is one step short of a tsunami warning, which advises people to move urgently to high ground or inland.

of West African Province, who attacked Kautikari Village under Chibok Local Government Area in Borno State on Friday, have killed four residents.

The murderous Moslems also kidnapped a large number of women and kiddies, while several villagers remain missing.

The Lions of Islam during the attack raided the home of a renowned businessman and set all his properties ablaze before snatching a cell phone belonging to his wife.

They also burnt down a church and some residential buildings.

Kautikari is located East and about 15km drive from Chibok town predominantly occupied by Christians.

Son-in-law of the businessman, who resides in Maiduguri, the state capital, disclosed that he received a distress call from the snatched phone of his mother-in-law by the Lions of Islam demanding for recharge card early Saturday morning.

"Our people of Kautikari are displaced following the attack on the community last Friday which is our market day.

"The armed Lions of Islam killed four people, destroy shops and loot food items. They also kidnapped scores of women and kiddies as many are still missing.

"Our church has been razed down, including my father in law’s house and shops in the community. I spoke with some of the family and they told me they are all safe, though displaced now.

"Unfortunately, my mother-in-law’s cell phone was snatched from her by the terrorists. I received a distress call from the snatched phone this morning by the Lions of Islam demanding for recharge card, before I informed the caller that ’God is in control’, and I quickly put off the phone," he narrated.

Reports revealed that they were arrested after they stormed Okititpupa town, the headquarters of Okitipupa Local Government Area of the state, and could not explain their mission to residents who were alarmed.

Amotekun officials in the South-West states had on Thursday said the regional outfit was on the alert following renewed attacks by killer herdsmen and turbans in Ondo State.

The officials in Osun, Oyo, Ondo and Ekiti states had disclosed that they had received credible intelligence that turbans and bandidos fleeing military operations in the North-West would seek refuge in the forests of the southern states.

They therefore said they had commenced combing forests in the region for the fleeing terrorists.

Although the corps had yet to link those arrested at Okitipupa to a particular crime, residents panicked over their suspicious movement within the town on Thursday and alerted the personnel who arrested them.

The Commander of Amotekun in the state, Akogun Adetunji Adeleye, was quoted by Daily Post that the northerners stated that an unnamed person invited them to the state.

He said, "They were people who claimed to have come from the northern part of the country with dogs, charms and cutlasses and the people of Okitipupa area who were not comfortable with them raised the alarm.

"But on interrogation, they claimed they were invited to Okitipupa by somebody and that they are actually working for the person. All attempts to reach the person they claimed to work for have not yielded any result till date.

"However,
if you can't be a good example, then you'll just have to be a horrible warning...
we want to warn residents to be vigilant when they see what I will call mysterious things. We have over 30 dogs among able bodied men who don’t even know where they are going. They claimed they were dropped in Okitipupa by a vehicle and that the vehicle had left.

"This calls for a very serious concern looking at the very serious security situation in the country. Investigation into who brought them and their real mission is still ongoing. They were attempting to enter the forest behind the military barracks in Okitipupa when they were arrested."

-Short Attention Span Theater-
HOW TO GET HOSPITALIZED WITH COVID-19
LESSONS LEARNED.

1. No, being sick for 4 days isn't allergies. No matter what the wife keeps saying.

2. Driving oneself the hospitals community location is useless. You will wait hours because to the Triage Process and still fall thru the cracks.

3. Driving to the Hospital ER and checking in is also tactically useless. Which you figure out after 7 hours and 49 minutes of watching the wife sit in a wheelchair waiting, waiting, waiting and waiting WITHOUT further attention.

4. Return home and called 9-1-1.

5. 9-1-1 produces near IMMEDIATE Fire Dept. response.

6. Triage by Fire Dept member results in a private AMBO arriving all within 30 mins.

7. The patient is loaded up and taken back to the same Hospital ER by AMBO.

8. The patient is re-tested for COVID-19, which produce the same positive Covid-19 positive results as before.

9. ER Staff attention is immediate, full and swift. Unlike being a walk-in.

10. Within 30 mins of the 2nd arrival, the patient this time is quickly assigned Infectious ICU room.

11. Nurses & Doctor introduce themselves the patient, standard Covid-19 POE and treatment starts all within 2 hours of ER AMBO arrival.

12. The Medicare Vampires surround the patients and the start of medical care is administered. Then over the next 10 days the patient is cared for by some of the best VISA nurses and doctors. Which came to the USA as far away as Pakistan, South/Central America, and the UK to work 180 day VISAs to care for our loved ones and ourselves.

#1  Flu currently hitting my area hard. Nursing homes all Vaxed and having mass outbreaks of sickness. Women very pregnant harped on to get vaccine for herself and baby. Having seen family members having problems after vaccine will have no part of it. This VAX hysteria will not end soon.

#2  An alternate, yet more effective method, is to have planned for this. Identify a doctor that will prescribe Ivermectin and a zpack, then buy it. Research the protocol around the ivermectin treatment, buy the vitamins and other items. Have them all ready and when you get COVID, we all will get it vaccinated or not, and start the protocol. Take care of your family in these times where the messages from our government seem to be do nothing until your about to die.

#3  Hospitals never put their best people in the ER. In California, even without COVID, you'll wait while the staff tends to illegal aliens who use the ER as a substitute for a primary care physician because they have no insurance and no money. It's like being in the Third World.

#4  But, yes, I've heard it from numerous other sources. People who arrive at the ER via ambulance are treated before those who drive themselves.

Yes. Trying to find such a doc now. Appreciate suggestions -- no restrictions on (US) geography. tia, MF

#10  Stuff like this is why I was talking about the Spanish Nursing Home protocol. A major part of it is something you could buy over the counter and your chances of getting a Z-Pac are probably higher than getting hydroxychloroquine or ivermectin.

#11  Fvcking liars. The WHO itself calls ivermectin an "essential medicine" -- totally safe.

#12  I our case the wife and I both signed releases to allow the "off use" of medications during our hospital stay's.

Neither of us exp any real side effects.

The PA'S, Charge Nurses, and doc's all said that the (insert ridiculous long med name) lessen the symptoms to a bad cold instead of 4 days of Flu.

BTW: I am sitting here with 4 bars of ivermectin 1.87% Apple paste never opened and good until Aug. 2023.

Economy
Given the 1000's of ships hauling cargo to the USA. Why do we still have shortages?
[VesselFinder]
I’ve read that the immediate concern is that California regulations keep most truckers from being permitted to take shipping containers off the docks, so they’re piling up there, but perhaps I misunderstand.

#2  Looking at the bigger picture, since I 1st posted this site back in late Nov'ish 2021??

We are now seeing a 10x's the ships headed to various US & Central America ports. Thus bypassing the Calif. Bottle neck.

Eg. US Gulf of Mex & US Eastern US ports.

So where's the stuff?

#3  My OTR Trucker friend tells me that California is the most 'Semi-unfriendly' state that they transport to and from, so I wouldn't be surprised TW.
Posted by: Mullah Richard || 01/16/2022 9:00 Comments || Top||

#4  ^ True. Under CAs rules on emissions, nearly half of available trucks are barred from ports, IIUC. ...and that's on top of trucker shortage.

#6
So basically the Calif Liberal Socialist Democrats are the cause of the shortages on the West coast and Northern Western USA.

But still we have Panama Canal routed ships at numbers greater than the previous 2 years slipping thru in to the Gulf. We have Mexico NAFTA ports that easily handle the Calif issues?

#7  retards!

#8  They're piled up everywhere.
Ship tracker:
https://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ais/home/centerx:-120.6/centery:37.2/zoom:8

The worker shortage created a backlog in the system, and Cali's new rules screwed them up further. Ocean shipping is rerouting itself, with Home Depot's chartered ships coming into Houston, New Orleans and Charleston via Panama.
Bear in mind, meat and produce, TP and dairy shortages are from OTR trucker shortages.

#9  A lot of the containerships won't fit through Panama.

Amazon is taking the initiative to build their own special long containers and send them through Panama on ships fitted with their own cranes for unloading.

All that's needed is a chassis to show up next to the ship and will get loaded with a container in a couple of minutes.

#1  Philippines to buy India's BrahMos missile
"...Philippines became the first country in the region to acquire the BrahMos cruise missile system jointly developed by India and Russia. The ripples for this deal—years in the making—is likely to be felt for a while."
The BrahMos is a nasty beast with a 200kg warhead. Being hit by one will gut most naval vessels. This is not something the CCP will be happy about.
