Pentagon seeks to scrap 24 problematic Littoral ships in 2023
[Libertarian Institute] The Pentagon’s 2023 budget proposal calls for retiring 24 ships to make way for more expensive vessels. All nine of the Navy’s Freedom-class Littoral Combat Ships (LCS) would be among those scrapped.

The LCS program has been plagued with issues. The most serious are failures in the population system. Last year, a major defect was found in the transmission, causing new ship deliveries to be halted. The frequent issues have led to the nickname "little crappy ships."

Many of the Freedom-class crafts to be cut are the newest in the American fleet, with five ships commissioned in the past four years. Rear Adm. John Gumbleton, the Navy’s budget chief, said the decision to scrap the vessel was a money-saving move.

"A piece of that was our choice going after decommissioning vessels that were very expensive to maintain," he said. The 24 ships would generate savings of "$3.6 billion across the budget that I can reinvest."

The Pentagon was planning to buy six additional Freedom-class LCSs. It is unclear if the projects will be terminated. Five cruisers, four landing dock ships, two submarines, two oilers, and two expeditionary transfer docks will also be retired.

The Navy is looking to add more nuclear-powered ships like Ford-class aircraft carriers and Columbia-class submarines. The new DoD budget would bring the total number of ships down from 298 to 280.

However, Congress may reject the Pentagon’s suggestion to remove the ships from service. For example, the DoD’s past efforts to eliminate the A-10 program were removed from the budget during the legislative process.

Even if the ships are cut, American taxpayers will not see savings. The White House plans a $30 billion increase in war spending in 2023.

#4  They actually might fit the Coast Guard counterdug mission as airborne platforms for a more robust littoral surveillance and response task force farther off-shore than current land based systems. Such a task force could be formed with the new 110's and give them the aviation and drone coverage area breadth/reaction speed they sorely lack. Just spit-balling but they are new 4-spot flight decks.

#5  ...There's some talk about taking the new-build ones that have the glitches fixed/alleviated and making them dedicated anti-sub ships - they're surprisingly well suited for the job, (especially the new-build Independences) but the bad name the project has earned may doom that idea.

And BTW, the USCG runs from the idea of getting them like the Devil from Holy Water.

...Since the 60s, every major defense contract has had a clause that essentially makes it cheaper to keep buying the contracted product rather than cancel the program. Whatever it costs to pick up completed new ships at the yard and tow them into mothballs, it'll cost a couple of orders of magnitude more to cancel the program where it sits.

#10  As I recall there was one, one defense contracting firm that manufactured deliverable M1 Abrahams tanks. If you close the line, like they did with the A-10, the institutional knowledge of the precise tooling, skilled workers and knowledge of procedures for assemble are lost. Reassembly isn't easy, cheap or fast, so there is a national value in keeping mininmal capability online.

Ukrainian Military Intelligence Chief Threatens Total "Guerrilla" Warfare
[Libertarian Institute] The head of Ukraine’s military intelligence, Kyrylo Budanov, threatened total "guerrilla" warfare in Russian-occupied territory. He also warned Moscow was attempting to split his country into a divided state.

Budanov said that Ukraine was preparing a guerrilla war in any territory Russia continues to control. "The season of a total Ukrainian guerilla safari will soon begin," he said.

The statement from the intel chief comes as the US is dumping billions of insurgency-style weapons into Ukraine. The American weapon’s shipments to Keiv included the shoulder-fired anti-aircraft missile that the CIA provided to the Afghan Mujahideen to use against the Soviet Army.

There is a long track record of influential foreign policy thinkers who suggested America would benefit from Russia fighting an insurgency in Ukraine.

The latest official to express the benefits of Ukrainian insurgency is US Under Secretary of Defense for Policy Colin Kahl. He believes Russia would be weakened by the war in Ukraine. "I think with a high degree of certainty that Russia will emerge from Ukraine weaker than it went into the conflict. Militarily weaker, economically weaker, politically and geopolitically weaker, and more isolated," Kahl said on Thursday.

The CIA has also spent several years training Ukrainians in insurgency tactics. The agency believed those it trained would be the leaders of the resistance if Russia invaded.

Budanov also accused Russia of trying to recreate a Korean split of Ukraine. "In fact, it is an attempt to create North and South Korea in Ukraine," he said.

Russia has demanded that Keiv recognize Moscow’s control over Crimea and the independence of the Donbas before it would end its assault. On Sunday, Zelensky indicated for the first time he may be willing to "compromise" with Russia over control of the Donbas. The two Donbas republics — Donetsk and Luhansk — have been at war with Keiv since 2014.

Rand Report Prescribed US Provocations Against Russia & Predicted Kremlin Retaliation In Ukraine
Authored by Rick Sterling via AntiWar.com,

[ZeroHedge] According to a 2019 Rand report titled "Overextending and Unbalancing Russia", the US goal is to undermine Russia just as it did the Soviet Union in the cold war. Rather than "trying to stay ahead" or trying to improve the US domestically or in international relations, the emphasis is on efforts and actions to undermine the designated adversary Russia. Rand is a quasi-US governmental think tank that receives three-quarters of its funding from the US military.

The report lists anti-Russia measures divided into the following areas: economic, geopolitical, ideological/informational, and military. They are assessed according to the perceived risks, benefits and "likelihood of success".

#3  Thanks for trolling.

Had you read the online report you might have recognized the current administration's roadmap to world affairs. This is interesting as the report from 2019 spans two radically different presidencies.

You might have also noticed, besides energy and military expansion there is a ideological section directed at Russia but appears to be very much in affect within our own borders, on our own population.

I'm very concerned about the 'not yet manifested' measures.

#7  Had you read the online report you might have recognized the current administration's roadmap to world affairs.

Thank you for that link -- very helpful to read the report.
BLUF: the only tactic that offers a very favorable cost-benefit profile for the US with low risk is increased US domestic energy production.

That's the only promising tactic out of 48 total. And Biden ignored it -- in fact did the exact opposite!

The only other set of tactics that even offer moderately favorable cost-benefits are a variety of USAF initiatives like like "reposturing US bombers" and "investing" in RPAs and long-range strike aircraft and missiles.

Which of course are initiatives which RAND would be delighted to study for the next five years. At a reasonable cost -- perhaps $5 million per study with a few follow-ones?

And which options offered the WORST outcomes? Exactly those which Biden has been doubling down on.

note: if you want to quickly scan the RAND report and get the key takeaways, look at each tactic's color-coded row of boxes in the table to the right. Look for crimson vs beige. A crimson box means the policy will greatly sting us and not hurt the Russians much; beige is good for US interests.

There's a LOT of crimson -- that is damage to the US and/or little harm to Russia -- and not much beige in the 48 rows of tactics. Nearly all of the "geopolitical" and NATO-related tactics are either counterproductive or useless.

Most importantly sanctions will hurt the US as at least as much as they hurt Russia. Political interference offers no chance of success. So what does Biden do? Impose self-destructive sanctions and call for "regime change" in Russia!

Thank you again, Skidmark. This report shows once again that US policymakers do not listen to reason and are determined to do the exact opposite wherever possible.

#8  Who are these Defense Intelligence Agency analysts and "Pentagon contractor" analysts who are calling BS on the widely-believed Western notion that Putin and the Russian Army are deliberately targeting civilians?

Putin's bombers could devastate Ukraine but he's holding back. Here's why

There's also an illuminating comparison with the US air and artillery campaign in Iraq. Odd that this rational analysis has been quashed.

Sort of like the quashing of RAND's advice to recommendation to increase oil and gas production and focus on drones, bombers, longer-range strike aircraft and missiles instead of NATO and regime change BS. Or shooting ourselves in the foot with sanctions. instead of

CBP to send more agents to border to ready for likely end to Title 42, immigration surge
[JustTheNews] Arizona Democrat Sens. Kyrsten Sinema and Mark Kelly told President Biden they've "not yet seen evidence" of DHS plan to address end to Title 42

Customs and Border Protection is asking agents across the country to come to the southwest sector to assist with the soon-expected end of the Trump-administration's emergency use of the Title 42 federal health statute and a resulting surge in illegal immigration.

According to a CBP memo obtained by Just the News, the agency's Office of Field Operations is "anticipating increased operational tempo along the SWB, necessitating additional resources to assist with processing, facilitation, and enforcement, as well as to limit operational disruptions."

The office also suggests in the memo that such as surge could begin as early as next week and asks for "supervisory and non-supervisory CBP officers" to deploy to that sector's ports of entry "for up to 60 days, with the possibility to extend. The anticipated start date for this assignment is April 5, 2022, with expected travel on April 4, 2022."

Title 42 is a public health statute that was enacted in the 1940s and now gives the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention authority to determine whether a communicable disease in a foreign country poses a serious threat of spreading in the U.S. through people entering the country.

The Trump administration in March 2020, amid the early surge in COVID-19 deaths, imposed the statute so that CBP could immediately remove anyone entering the country without authorization and to close the border to nonessential travel in the "interest of public health."

The recent CPD memo also warns that those coming to the border to work should expect "irregular shifts and schedules, including holidays and weekends" and that overtime may be authorized as necessary.

More than 1.7 million illegal immigrants have been deported since the statue was impose roughly two years ago, according statistics from the CBP, which on Monday did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The Biden administration is expected to review Title 42 on Wednesday.

Earlier this month, the administration announced that it would cease deportations of unaccompanied immigrant children under Title 42.

The drone operators who halted Russian convoy headed for Kyiv
[Guardian] One week into its invasion of Ukraine, Russia massed a 40-mile mechanised column in order to mount an overwhelming attack on Kyiv from the north.

But the convoy of armoured vehicles and supply trucks ground to a halt within days, and the offensive failed, in significant part because of a series of night ambushes carried out by a team of 30 Ukrainian special forces and drone operators on quad bikes, according to a Ukrainian commander.

The drone operators were drawn from an air reconnaissance unit, Aerorozvidka, which began eight years ago as a group of volunteer IT specialists and hobbyists designing their own machines and has evolved into an essential element in Ukraine’s successful David-and-Goliath resistance.

However, while Ukraine’s western backers have supplied thousands of anti-tank and anti-aircraft missiles and other military equipment, Aerorozvidka has been forced to resort to crowdfunding and a network of personal contacts in order to keep going, by getting hold of components such as advanced modems and thermal imaging cameras, in the face of export controls that prohibit them being sent to Ukraine.

The unit’s commander, Lt Col Yaroslav Honchar, gave an account of the ambush near the town of Ivankiv that helped stop the vast, lumbering Russian offensive in its tracks. He said the Ukrainian fighters on quad bikes were able to approach the advancing Russian column at night by riding through the forest on either side of the road leading south towards Kyiv from the direction of Chernobyl.

The Ukrainian soldiers were equipped with night vision goggles, sniper rifles, remotely detonated mines, drones equipped with thermal imaging cameras and others capable of dropping small 1.5kg bombs.

"This one little unit in the night destroyed two or three vehicles at the head of this convoy, and after that it was stuck. They stayed there two more nights, and [destroyed] many vehicles," Honchar said.

Woman dies while rock climbing in Joshua Tree National Park
[Desert Sun] A 50-year-old woman died while rock climbing in Joshua Tree National Park on Saturday, according to park superintendent David Smith. Park service rescuers aided in the incident near the Sheep Pass group campsite. The woman's identity was being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

It is the second reported climbing death in the popular national park this year, which is known for its iconic rock formations and climbing trails.

San Diego schoolteacher Michael Spitz, 35, died while free-solo climbing on Jan. 16. His body was found at the base of the Sentinel Wall near the Hidden Valley Nature Trail the next morning.

Security forces kill 4 terrorists in North Waziristan IBO: ISPR
[Dawn] Security forces killed four turbans during an intelligence-based operation in the area of Jhallar Fort in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa's North Wazoo district on the night between March 27 and March 28, the military's media affairs wing said on Monday.

According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was conducted on the basis of the reported presence of turbans in the Jhallar Fort's general area.

While the operation was under way, four bad boyz were potted during an intense exchange of fire, the statement said, adding that one of the turbans had been identified as Zar Saadullah.

The "identification of the remaining turbans is in progress," the statement said.

It added that weapons and ammunition were found in the possession of the killed terrorists, who were "actively involved in terrorism activities against security forces".

"Locals of the area appreciated the operation and expressed their full support to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the area," the statement read.

The incident comes just days after four soldiers were martyred in North Waziristan's Hassan Khel area during an exchange of fire with turbans who had attempted to infiltrate Pakistain from Afghanistan.

The ISPR had said at the time that the terrorist's attempt was foiled and according to intelligence reports, they had "suffered heavy casualties".

Russia labels Deutsche Welle a 'foreign agent'
[DW] DW has been put on a list of "foreign agents" in Russia, which includes a number of foreign media operations as well as NGOs that receive funding from abroad.

On February 3, the Russian Foreign Ministry said it would take "retaliatory measures against the German media" working in Russia after German authorities banned the state-run Russian TV channel "RT DE."

This included "recognizing DW as a foreign media outlet fulfilling the functions of a foreign agent," the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

Shortly after, DW moved its Moscow office to the Latvian capital Riga.

DW (Deutsche Welle) is Germany's international public broadcast service. It is tax-funded and produces freely accessible journalism in 32 languages.

The Federal Republic of Germany's Broadcasting Council — an independent, non-partisan body free of government influence — oversees DW's compliance with its legal mandate to supply people around the world with independent information. DW employs roughly 4,000 individuals, most of whom work at studios in Bonn and Berlin.

WHAT IS THE 'FOREIGN AGENT' LIST?
Since 2012, the list has been used to curtail the operations of international media outlets as well as non-profits that receive foreign funding, particularly those that are active in politics or report on corruption.

It requires that all publications on the list be marked as coming from a "foreign agent," and submit a report on their activities every 6 months.

Over 100 media outlets and individuals are currently on the list, including US public broadcasters Voice of America and Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty as well as Amnesia Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch.

Senior Al-Shabaab commander surrenders in Somalia - military
[Garowe] In the middle of the ongoing al-Shabaab
...... the Islamic version of the old Somali warlord...
attacks in Somalia, a senior member of the al-Qaeda linked group surrendered over the weekend to government soldiers as the country struggles to contain violent mostly peaceful extremism that is entering its 16th year.

The government troops have intensified a crackdown against the bully boyz in the Southwest region where the bully boyz have been waging persistent attacks against civilians, security forces, and senior government officials.

State-owned Radio Mogadishu, citing unnamed military officials reported that a senior Somali National Army [SNA] official said a seasoned bad boy who had been behind attacks within Baidoa, the regional administrative capital of Southwest, surrendered to the national army.

Although his name was not immediately made public, it is believed the bad boy has been coordinating attacks on behalf of al-Shabaab in the region for the last five years. In the past few years, a number of bully boyz have been surrounding the government.

For the last one week, al-Shabaab bully boyz have killed over 60 people mainly civilians and security forces. In Mogadishu, ten people died following a kaboom at the airport while at Beletwyene, over 50 people died.

Reports from Beledweyne indicate hundreds of those who were maimed are yet to be treated after hospitals were badly damaged. At Af-Urur village in the Bari region of Puntland
...a region in northeastern Somalia, centered on Garowe in the Nugaal province. Its leaders declared the territory an autonomous state in 1998. Puntland and the equally autonomous Somaliland seem to have avoided the clan rivalries and warlordism that have typified the rest of Somalia, which puts both places high on the list for Islamic subversion...
, over 12 al-Shabaab bully boyz and four soldiers died during the exchange of fire.

Al-Shabaab has heightened attacks during the busy electoral calendar in Somalia, with the US blaming politics for the latest incidents. A number of people also believe some of the attacks were targeting politicians including Amina Mohammed Abdi, an MP who was killed last week.

Syria’s Hawl Camp witnesses security alert, reports of ISIS rebellion

Late on Monday, a security source told North Press that the Hawl Camp, east of Hasakah, northeastern Syria, has witnessed a security alert following a rebellion by ISIS sleeper cells inside the camp.

The source added that clashes with medium and light weapons erupted between the security forces and the ISIS cells within the fourth and fifth divisions of the camp.

He pointed out that an ISIS member was killed during the clashes, and the camp is witnessing firing now and intense flight of the US-led Global Coalition aircraft over the camp.

In early March, a high-ranking security source told North Press that they had received intelligence information that ISIS was preparing to take full control of the Hawl Camp.

Meanwhile, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) suspended their activities within the camp for tomorrow, as a result of the security situation within the overcrowded camp.

Bashagha Accuses Dbaiba of Funding Terrorism in Libya
[PUBLISH.TWITTER]

The Libyan Parliament designated Prime Minister, Fathi Bashagha accused the Prime Minister of the outgoing Government of National Unity (GNU), Abdel-Hamid Dbaiba of supporting terrorism and armed militias.

During an interview with al-Arabiya al-Hadath television channel, Bashagha said a number of militias that supported Dbaiba had now "retreated."

He confirmed his government has the ability to enter Tripoli
...a confusing city, one end of which is located in Lebanon and the other end of which is the capital of Libya. Its chief distinction is being mentioned in the Marine Hymn...
, "but prefers to enter it peacefully, and without bloodshed. The outgoing government is trying to drag us into a conflict that will lead to casualties."

Bashagha pointed out that his administration has contacted militias and politicians in order to resolve the crisis. He sharply criticized the GNU, claiming it "has many administrative transgressions, which is unprecedented by any Libyan government."

"The outgoing Dbaiba government wants to cling to power and loot Libyan funds," adding that "it had spent the money on terrorist and gangs."

He also made it clear that his government will not prosecute anyone or settle personal grudges, as "this is up to the judicial and supervisory authorities."

On Saturday, Bashagha accused the GNU of deliberately sabotaging the country’s general elections. During an interview with al-Wasat TV, Bashagha said that Dbaiba did not intend to hold elections from the start. "He informed foreign and local parties that he would last for two years or more, and there would be no elections," Bashagha added.

"Since 2011, successive Libyan governments handed over power smoothly, and even the Salvation Government responded after a short period, but the Dabaiba government did not," he noted.

Last week, Bashagha warned of the collapse of the ceasefire agreement if the outgoing GNU continues to refuse to hand over power to his government.

"The outgoing government’s continued usurpation of power and the threat of violence threatens to unravel the ceasefire agreement, and undermine national and international efforts to hold elections," Bashagha said in a statement.

On 10 February, the Speaker of the Libyan Parliament, Ageela Saleh announced that they unanimously appointed Bashagha as the new Prime Minister.

However,
a clean conscience makes a soft pillow...
Dbaiba warned that the appointment of a new interim government could lead to war and chaos in the country. He renewed his pledge to only hand power over to an elected government.

Caucasus/Russia/Central Asia
Briefly about Ukraine. 03/28/2022
Direct Translation via Google Translate.

Commentary by Russian military journalist Boris Rozhin.

[ColonelCassad] 1. Mariupol.
The cleanup continues. Just a few blocks away - quite a serious advance. Over the Sea of Azov, a Mi-8 helicopter of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was shot down, which, apparently, was trying to pick someone up from Mariupol before the death of the encircled group.

Obviously, there will be no deblockade of Mariupol. The only question is whether Azovstal will be cleaned up the same way as the city, or the plant will be sacrificed in order to minimize their own losses. cleanup.

2.Ugledar direction.
Fighting in the area of Glorious and Novomikhailovka. The grouping in this direction has intensified in recent days, so within 1-2 days we can expect further advancement to the Maryinka-Kurakhovo highway.

3. Marinka.
Fights in the slag heap area. The advance is still quite slow, however, the enemy is gradually retreating, having already lost part of the fortified area.

4. Avdievka.
Avdievka itself is without major changes. Fighting near Novobakhmutovka and Novoselovka on the outskirts of New York.

5.LNR.
Severodonetsk - no major changes. Lisichansk - similarly.
In the southern regions of Rubizhne, there are battles with enemy DRGs. The city itself suffers from constant shelling.
There is some progress in the Popasna area and in the city itself, but, of course, it is too early to talk about control over it.

6. Izyum.
The accumulation of forces on the southern bank of the Donets continues and pressure on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the direction of Slavyansk is increasing. Serious fighting is also underway northeast of Barvenkovo.

7. Kharkov.
No significant changes. Fighting north and east of the city. The bulk of the fighting takes place on the outskirts of Kharkov. He doesn't fly into the city very often. Attacks are being made on the Chuguev grouping of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

8. Chernihiv-Sumy.
The pressure on Chernigov is growing, the enemy has suffered serious losses in recent days and has completely pulled back into the city. In Slavutych, the Russian administration has not yet been established; the city, like Energodar earlier, has so far only been provided with checkpoints at the entrance. Amounts unchanged. Fighting continues north of Akhtyrka near the town of Trostyanets.

9. Kiev.
Bucha-Vorzel-Gostomel without changes. The Armed Forces of Ukraine say that the RF Armed Forces continue to try to move south towards Vasilkov. Irpin is partly controlled by the RF Armed Forces, partly by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. No one controls part of the city. He himself suffered greatly during the fighting.

10.Nikolaev.
The "attack on Kherson" was expressed in the indiscriminate shelling of Chernobaevka from the MLRS and an attempt to attack with a mechanized group supported by infantry in the direction of Kherson. In the steppe, the group began to be covered with artillery, and it rolled back to Nikolaev with losses.

In addition, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation also threw well on the outskirts of Nikolaev, destroying several guns and MLRS, where the Armed Forces of Ukraine also had losses, after which they began to urgently collect blood in Nikolaev. The exact number of casualties in this "offensive" is unknown. Perhaps blogger Kim will tell us about this after he finishes eating barbecue at the resort.

Hunter Biden's $142K Fisker sports car scrutinized in tax probe: report
[NYPOST] Prosecutors leading the Hunter Biden tax probe are investigating his purchase of a $142,000 plug-in hybrid sports car whose manufacturer defaulted on a massive B.O. regime loan touted by his father, according to a report Monday.

Some of the testimony presented to a Delaware grand jury also appears to be intended to prevent the first son from mounting a defense based on his admittedly sordid history of drug and alcohol abuse, the Wall Street Journal said.

That testimony came from a former girlfriend, Zoe Kestan, 28, who last month testified about shacking up with Biden, 52, in swanky hotels in New York City and Los Angeles and making lavish purchases during 2018, a source familiar with the matter told The Post.

Russia aims to split Ukraine into 2 countries
[FOXNEWS] Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy continued to call on the world to do more to help his country fend off Russian aggressors, going as far as to accuse the West of cowardice during an address on Sunday, while a top Ukrainian official identified a shift in Russian strategies.

Kyrylo Budanov, the head of Ukrainian military intelligence, predicted that Russia was aiming to split Ukraine into Western and Eastern blocs, similar to how North and South Korea were independently recognized following the Korean War, as ongoing negotiations with Russia have so far failed to reach a conclusion.

"The occupiers will try to pull the occupied territories into a single quasi-state structure and pit it against independent Ukraine," Budanov said in a statement via the Defense Ministry. The official said Ukraine would continue to fight to defend the regions.

The occupied territories include Donetsk and Luhansk, two cities Russian officials have demanded Kyiv hand over amid the negotiation process.

In the Sunday address, Zelenskyy called for additional fighter jets and tanks to push back Russian advances, as the latter country has pivoted its focus to taking over the Donbas region in Eastern Ukraine.

#2  an interesting problem with the 2 Ukraine solution is that the inhabitants of Eastern Ukraine are now familiar with Russian style corrupt governance and thuggery.

Of course Ukraine has a fair amount of corruption also but not, I think, the thuggery of Russia.

So even the Russian speaking population of Eastern Ukraine may prefer to be part of Ukraine.

[JUSTTHENEWS] Three Milwaukee, Wisconsin, officials face accusations of illegally taking "Zuck Bucks" to facilitate voting by purchasing absentee ballot drop boxes, among other things, according to a lawsuit filed by the Thomas More Society.

The complaint, filed last week against Milwaukee Acting Mayor Cavalier Johnson, former Mayor Tom Barrett, and City Clerk Jim Owczarski, claims the officials violated Wisconsin's election bribery law by taking private donations from the non-profit Center for Tech and Civic Life, which is funded by billionaire Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg
...the Peewee Herman clone who owns Facebook. He's got more money than Croesus and thinks he should be regulated by the government because it does such a nifty job with all the other stuff it regulates....
and his wife, Priscilla Chan.

"This is representative of a national trend," Thomas More Society Special Counsel Erick Kaardal said in a blurb. "Sixteen states have now passed legislation to ban or regulate the acceptance and use of private funds by public election officers. Thomas More Society attorneys, prior to the 2020 election, were the first to litigate this issue. Thomas More Society lawyers filed litigation in nine states. "All of this litigation led to successful legislative action to ban this 'dark money.'"

Former President Donald Trump
...His ancestors didn't own any slaves...
called Zuckerberg "a criminal" last year for reportedly spending hundreds of millions of dollars through the Center for Tech and Civic Life in the 2020 election.

The Thomas More Society has filed five lawsuits in Wisconsin. The Milwaukee follows cases in Racine, Green Bay, Kenosha and Madison, all of which asserted that officials violated election law by accepting money from the Zuckerberg-funded election group.

"We can’t undo the wrongs of the 2020 election," Kaardal said. "But it is incumbent upon us to ensure that the corruption that infected Wisconsin’s voting process is rooted out and that the state’s election integrity is preserved."

Grenade blast in Shopian, no casualty
[GREATERKASHMIR] Militants on Monday evening hurled a grenade on a SOG camp in Imam Sahib area of south Kashmir
...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain. After partition, the Paks grabbed half of it and call it Azad (Free) Kashmir. The remainder they refer to as "Indian Occupied Kashmir". They have fought four wars with India over it, the score currently 4-0 in New Delhi's favor. After 72 years of this nonsense, India cut the Gordian knot in 2019, removing the area's special status, breaking off Ladakh as a separate state, and allowing people from other areas to settle (or in the case of the Pandits, to resettle) there....
’s Shopian district.

Quoting a top police officer, news agency GNS reported that the grenade however missed the intended target and went kaboom! on the roadside.

No one loss of life or injury was reported in the incident as per the report.

The area has been cordoned off to nab the fleeing murderous Moslems.

Looking at this from a Political view.
Maybe Biden has helped Putin get re-elected?

WHY?
A US President basically told Russian Citizens
and the world that Putin has made RUSSIA a superpower again and the USA is worried about such a strong leader.

So if you are a PRO-USSR type how would you vote next election.

BTW: It is Official Carter has been replaced as the worse President in office in the last 100 years.

But unlike Carter who has done some great humanitarian projects after leaving office. I suspect Biden's & Obama's contributions to the World will never see any of the wealth their families raked in, while in office, used for anyone other than themselves and socially/racially dividing causes.

I don't care if it's impeachment, the 25th Amendment or resignation. Biden is reckless and dangerous. He is a national security risk. What is alarming is that Obama or Soros is having Joe implement dangerous policies that are detrimental to our prosperity and world peace. Joe, himself, is not dangerous. Given his druthers he would most likely be on a Delaware beach trying to convince kids to sit on his lap. It's Sørōs who needs the Putin's, the Dutertes, Orbans, the Modis and the Trumps gone. BIden has definitely been compromised. Senate Republicans smell blood. They're producing specific bank transfer documents linking the Bidens to the CCP and the Russians.

Senators Release Receipts Showing Direct Payments From Foreign Oligarchs To Hunter Biden
Republican Sens. Chuck Grassley of Iowa and Ron Johnson of Wisconsin released bombshell receipts showing Hunter received payments from foreign oligarchs that further reveal “the extent to which President Biden might be — and almost certainly is — compromised.”

According to the documents obtained by the senators, energy company CEFC, “an arm of the Chinese Government,” paid Wells Fargo Clearing Services $100,000 and designated “further credit to Owasco,” Hunter’s firm.

“There’s no middle man in this transaction. This is $100,000 from what is effectively an arm of the communist Chinese government direct to Hunter Biden,” Grassley said on the Senate floor on Monday. “To the liberal media and my Democratic colleagues: Is this official bank document Russian disinformation?”

Bidens silent as son's former friend and business partner faces jail, financial ruin
[NYPOST] Hunter Biden’s former best friend, Devon Archer, has been betrayed and abandoned by the Biden family — and who could blame him for feeling aggrieved?

The president’s son, who once told Archer he was "part of a great family — not a sideshow, not deserted by them even in your darkest moments," won’t return calls to his former business partner.

Now, barring a last-ditch appeal by his lawyer, Archer has less than five weeks left before he has to go to jail to serve a one-year, one-month sentence over a fraud he says he had no knowledge his then-partners were committing, and which cost him his life’s savings.

Friends who attended the sentencing in Manhattan last month say that the father of three has mentally prepared himself for prison, and that his hopes for a presidential pardon have faded.

Prosecutors from the Southern District of New York two weeks ago rejected Archer’s arguments to postpone prison time and the forfeiture of his assets, warning that if his sentencing appeal is successful, "he might well receive a higher sentence."

Posted by: NN2N1 || 03/29/2022 8:35 Comments || Top||

#5  Well, consider this scenario: The dem brain trust decides very soon now that Joe will not be their candidate in 2024. That means Hunter must be rushed through the court system and convicted of whatever he is to be pardoned of before Joey's single term ends in January 2025. It would be risky to assume that any incoming dem successor would have any incentive to damage their own credibility by issuing a pardon to Hunter. There also exists the risk, however minor, that the next president won't be a dem at all. Should that occur, there will be no incentive whatsoever to pardon Hunter at all.

  • Comes despite years-long calls from progressives to defund the police

  • Biden has distanced himself from this rhetoric going into the 2022 midterms

  • 'We should all agree – the answer is not to defund the police, it's to fund the police,' the president said during his State of the Union address this month

  • Crime has been on the rise, especially in cities, over the last two years and Americans have expressed they don't feel safe in their communities

  • The FY2023 budget proposal will also include a 20% minimum tax on households worth more than $100 million

There are 17,985 U.S. police agencies/dept. in the United States, which include about 654,900 sworn officers.

$32B divided by 654,900 = 48,862.42 each, divided by 12 months = $4,071.86 more per month.

Of course, it is more than likely the LEO's will only see a small raise.
It is more likely 90% of it will make its way into Local and State Politician's hands for "creative" Social Justice and Police re-training.

Either way, it sure sounds like a $$$ Around About BRIBE $$$ with hopes to get Police support in 2022 and 2024.

#10  "The FY2023 budget proposal will also include a 20% minimum tax on households worth more than $100 million"

Notes:
* In 2021, the USA generated $6.6T in purchases/sales
* Had $19.5T GDP,
* and collected roughly $4.05T Tax revenue.

BTW: In 2021, the United States give $38B for foreign aid spending. With about 154M registered US voters that works out to about $246.75 for each voter. How much did you have to work to cover that donation?

OBTW: An average US Taxpayer gets hit with about 28.3% in total Federal Taxes. Or about $18,368 of an “average wage earner’s” salary. (according to OECD calculations)

The average annual wage in 2019 in the US was $51,916.27.
How about a 10% Flat Tax for EVERYONE with no deductions and political economy steering?

Because $5,196.00 sure sounds a lot better than $18,368.

Horrific pileup kills at least 3, creates war zone on Pennsylvania highway
[NYP] A massive pileup on a snowy stretch of Pennsylvania highway Monday left at least three people dead and almost resembled something out of a war — with explosions, flames and drivers standing on the road fleeing more skidding cars, according to reports.

Black clouds of smoke and the sound of explosions filled the sky after the massive, deadly crash involving at least two dozen vehicles, including more than five trucks, on the rural section of Interstate 81 in Schuylkill County around 11 a.m.

At least three people died in the pile-up, according to local WKOK radio.

The horrific scene unfolded amid a dangerous mix of snow and fog that left drivers with virtually no visibility, and the crash closed down all lanes between three exits of the highway, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said on Twitter.

Transcaucasia after the defeat of the bloc of the Central Powers
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited
By Oleg Airapetov

[REGNUM] The defeat of the German and the collapse of the Ottoman and Austro-Hungarian empires led to a sharp change in the situation in Transcaucasia. The Batumi treaty was canceled, the German and Turkish troops left, their place was taken by the British. New opportunities arose for local nationalist governments, and the main problem was the redistribution of territories in a space where ethnic stripes were the basis for mutually exclusive claims of the parties. Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan proclaimed the borders, which made war between these republics inevitable.

The A-10 Prepares For ‘Bomb Truck' Configuration Carrying 16 GBU-39 SDBs During Developmental Tests
[Aviantionist] The U.S. Air Force recently released, on March 25, the first photos of an A-10C Thunderbolt II loaded with GBU-39 Small-Diameter Bombs during a test near Eglin Air Force Base (Florida). The service did not disclose much info, except for mentioning that the test flight was performed by the 40th Flight Test Squadron on Feb. 9, 2022.

The integration of the GBU-39 on the "Warthog", as the A-10 is affectionately known by its pilot, is one of the major upgrades that were announced in 2019 as part of the A-10 Common Fleet Initiative. The program has the goal of keeping the aircraft in the U.S. Air Force inventory until late 2030s, while at the same time making sure that the A-10C will be a credible and lethal threat in that timeframe, should the need to deploy it during an eventual high-end conflict arise.

Until now the A-10 was limited to carry only a single weapon on each pylon; by using the BRU-61/A rack, the A-10 will be able to carry four SDBs on each weapon pylon, becoming a "bomb truck" that can release these stand-off weapons to neutralize threats as far as 50 miles in the target area before starting to provide Close Air Support (CAS) to ground troops. In the photos released on DVIDS we can see the aircraft carrying four BRU-61s, for a total of 16 SDBs.

The integration of the GBU-39 on the A-10 has been in the works at least since 2020, when The War Zone reported that SDB testing was in developmental testing with the 40th Flight Test Squadron, Detachment 1, based at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona. The GBU-39, first deployed aboard the F-15E Strike Eagle in 2006, is currently integrated also on the F-16, F-22, AC-130, Gripen and Tornado and will be integrated on the F-35, B-1, B-2 and B-52.

As we already reported, the SDB is a small 250-lb multipurpose, insensitive, penetrating bomb with a blast-fragmentation warhead for stationary targets. It is equipped with deployable wings for extended standoff range that open upon release allowing the GPS-guided bomb to glide for several miles before hitting the target with accuracy: launched at high-speed from high altitude it can travel for as much as 50 miles, allowing the attack plane to remain outside the range of most SAM (Surface-to-Air Missile) batteries.

into striking the Kurdish capital Erbil with ballistic missiles this month, Iraqi and Ottoman Turkish officials say.The March 13 attack on Erbil came as a shock to officials throughout the region for its ferocity, and was a rare publicly declared assault by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC).

The IRGC said the strike hit Israeli "strategic centers" in Erbil and was retaliation for an Israeli air raid that killed two of its members in Syria.

The choice of target, however, baffled many officials and analysts. Most of the 12 missiles hit the villa of a Kurdish businessman involved in the autonomous Kurdistan region’s energy sector.
The gentleman is Baz Karim Barzanji, or possibly Baz Karim Barzinji.
Iraqi and Ottoman Turkish officials who spoke to Rooters on condition of anonymity this week said they believe the attack was meant as a multi-pronged message to US allies in the region - but that a key trigger was a plan to pump Kurdish gas into Turkey and Europe, with Israel’s involvement.

"There had been two recent meetings between Israeli and US energy officials and specialists at the villa to discuss shipping Kurdistan gas to Turkey via a new pipeline," an Iraqi security official said.

Iran’s foreign ministry and the IRGC did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

A senior Iranian security official told Rooters the attack was a "multi-purposed message to many people and groups. It’s up to them how to interpret it. Whatever (Israel) is planning, from energy sector to agriculture, will not materialize."

The Architects of Our Present Disaster
[AmGreatness] These are people who think they’re clever enough to deal with powerful foreign countries run by sane people. They’re not, and those foreign powers have taken note of that fact. The kind of Americans the world fears or respects have been put out of government and military leadership and replaced by a menagerie of nursing home patients, human resources ladies, affirmative action hires, sexual degenerates, and obese four-star generals angling for board seats on the next Theranos start-up. The day of reckoning has arrived. Leaders like Putin, Xi, and Mohammed bin Salman are no longer amenable to being pushed around and morally browbeaten by the circus freaks that constitute the United States Government.

#1  Excellent. Need to read more of Benjamin Braddock's stuff.
This passage should open some eyes:

A Russian acquaintance of mine volunteered to go fight for the “Donetsk People’s Republic.” From the way he talked about the conditions there, I assumed it was a lost cause, but as a Southerner, I’m a sucker for lost causes. My friend feared that he was a marked man, that if he ever returned to Russia he might be arrested for his participation. Undermanned, underfed, and underarmed, he and his fellow patriots have held on throughout a brutal war that has raged since 2014, with numerous atrocities carried out by both the Ukrainian government and the neo-Nazi “punisher battalions” against the civilian population of Donetsk and Luhansk.

In one such atrocity, a man was nailed to a cross soaked in gasoline and burned alive. In another, a man and a pregnant woman had ropes tied around their necks, the ropes went over a crossbeam suspended between two trees and tied to the back of a car. The car was slowly driven forward and the two victims were slowly lifted into the air and strangled to death. Ukrainian forces have intermittently shelled the inhabitants in Luhansk and Donetsk, including with white phosphorus munitions against civilian targets.

Overall, the war in the Donbass claimed at least 14,000 lives, injured tens of thousands more, and has subjected the population of more than 2.3 million people in Donetsk and Luhansk to the hardship of life in a war zone. This has been a bone in the throat of many Russian people, who view the ethnically Russian inhabitants of Donetsk and Luhansk as their kin. But up until this point, Putin chose not to get militarily involved in a significant way. The tipping point to the invasion was not the survival of Donbass, but the survival of Russia itself.

#2  A number of Rantburg regulars saw that crucifixion video.

I read a few writings by Russian militiamen who fought in Donbas, describing some of the atrocities committed by the Ukrainians against Russian speakers, beginning with the May, 2014 Odessa fire. Some of them were/are my Facebook acquaintances.

And before we get too for into this discussion, a young man, a graphical artist based in Donetsk produced a book on mistreatment he and others suffered at the hands of the separatists.

Bottom line: no one wore angel wings in this thing. Ukrainians and the leaders of both Donetsk and Lugansk had strong ties with local organized crime.

#5  Sergey Zakharov (Russian spelling)

Dunno the name of his book, though. Sorry.

His style reminded me in many ways of the 19th century Spanish painter Francisco Goya.

The powers that be in Donetsk knew he was ridiculing them and they responded, poorly.

Replace these freaks with sane people -- another marvelous Braddock passage:

A month later, investigative journalist Darren Beattie published an investigation warning that the same constellation of NGOs and Washington apparatchiks that coordinated color revolutions abroad were actively plotting one right here at home. Election Night came and it happened: The infamous halt of the vote count; the coordinated declaration by the media that Biden had been elected president before the vote count was complete. Then came the instant social media bans of anyone posting evidence of voter fraud. It was a surreal moment in American history. Anyone questioning the details or pointing out the coordinated nature of this operation was branded a conspiracy theorist or even a traitor attempting to subvert democracy.

Months later, Time published an article titled, “The Secret History of the Shadow Campaign That Saved the 2020 Election.” It explained, “There was a conspiracy unfolding behind the scenes, one that both curtailed the protests and coordinated the resistance from CEOs. Both surprises were the result of an informal alliance between left-wing activists and business titans” and it described “a vast, cross-partisan campaign to protect the election.” That’s how brazen the people who are doing this are. They gaslight anyone who notices what they’re doing when they’re doing it, and then turn around and brag about what they did after the fact.

The successful overthrow of the Trump presidency returned to power the same cast of characters that had carried out the color revolution in Ukraine in 2014. Joe Biden, who as vice president had shepherded the deal to set up a puppet regime in Ukraine is now president. Victoria Nuland has returned as undersecretary of State for political affairs. Jen Psaki, who served as propaganda mouthpiece for the State Department during the Obama Administration, is now the propaganda mouthpiece for the Biden White House. Biden declared upon taking office, “America’s back,” which is only true if you define America as a government run by insane kleptocratic clowns whose problem-solving abilities amount to those of a farmer who sets fire to his cotton fields to drive out the boll weevils.

#8  /\ Replace these freaks with sane people -- another marvelous Braddock passage:

The Deep State now shamelessly controls the process. Haw is 'replacement' to be accomplished? The entire country has now become Cook County, IL.

Until I see the voting process enforced (poll watchers present and engaged), great piles of Dominion voting machines headed to salvage yards, absentee voting cleansed, the dead removed from voting registrations, an end to ballot harvesting, a return to paper ballots, voter 'drop-off' boxes smashed, and a single election day or two....I am least of all hopeful.

Perhaps I missed all of this, and it is actually taking place. Someone, please set me straight if that is the case.

The Saudis and Emirates delivered another "Fuck you, mate" to Shaky Joe today.

"Two influential OPEC members, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, rebuffed calls to expel Russia from a larger oil-production alliance with almost two dozen countries, saying the group had a long history of working together through armed conflicts.

"A partnership, dubbed OPEC+, between the Saudi-led Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries and Russia has refused to pump more oil than planned at a time when oil prices have rocketed above $100 a barrel. Producing more crude could bring prices down, some analysts say."

China-Japan-Koreas
Sanctions madness: Xi has the U.S. over a barrel-- can aid Russia, posture as peace broker, subsidize Russia's invasion, threaten US with war on two fronts...
[Claremont] Before President Biden’s two-hour conversation last week with Chinese president Xi, the exchange was being billed as having “seismic ramifications.” Biden was going to make it clear that China would suffer “severe consequences” for any financial or military aid it provided Russia in the face of U.S. sanctions.

But it doesn’t appear that Biden threatened Xi with “severe consequences” at all. And if he did, Xi blew any such warnings away. Instead, China admitted to nothing, implicated the U.S. and NATO in causing the war, insisted that Russia’s security needs to be addressed, and pressured Biden to help negotiate a settlement.

According to the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Xi told Biden:

The US and NATO should … have dialogue with Russia to … ease the security concerns of both Russia and Ukraine. … Sweeping and indiscriminate sanctions … [i]f further escalated, … could trigger serious crises in global economy and trade, finance, energy, food, and industrial and supply chains, crippling the already languishing world economy and causing irrevocable losses.

Even before the conversation, China was speaking softly but carrying a big stick: it sent an aircraft carrier through the Straits of Taiwan. And to rub in the point, China’s vice foreign minister, one day after the presidents talked, denounced NATO and condemned U.S. sanctions.

In other words, Biden’s call was a flop, like everything else he does. How could it not have been? Our foreign policy is incoherent. On the one hand, a major purpose behind Biden’s Ukraine policy is to signal to China that it dare not invade Taiwan. On the other hand, Biden needs China’s support if sanctions on Russia are to work. He is therefore both threatening China and conceding dependence on it. You cannot be unflinching and abject all at once.

WHY BIDEN CANNOT SANCTION CHINA
Xi knows that the U.S. will not impose any serious secondary sanctions. Biden is heading into a November midterm election, and the U.S. is in dire shape economically. The national debt stands at about $30 trillion. Inflation is devastating not just the poor, but now the middle class. Yet if the Federal Reserve Board seeks to tame inflation by raising interest rates, financial experts warn that the stock and housing markets may collapse.

If to this witches’ brew we added significant trade and financial sanctions on China, our action might well precipitate a deep recession globally and at home. The World Bank forecast late last year that China’s growth would slow sharply in 2022, and our own growth is declining as well. Depressing already slow growth while further inflating prices would mean a historic defeat for Democrats in November. Both Xi and Biden know that.

Xi has the U.S. over a barrel. He has nothing to fear from us. He can unobtrusively aid Russia (while denying that he does) but posture as a peace broker. He can subsidize Russia’s invasion while insisting on the sanctity of international borders. He can blame the war on the U.S. but also embarrass it if it does not encourage its Ukrainian satellite to accept a settlement. He has outflanked the U.S. (much as Nixon outflanked the USSR) by raising the specter that we might have to fight a war on two fronts — in Europe and the Pacific. If we sanction him, it only hastens the day when he and Russia develop a de-dollarized payments system and create a Eurasian trading bloc.

And the U.S. already overuses its sanctions: one in ten countries in the world is now subject to them. At the same time, we expect foreign creditors to continue to buy our Treasury bills (even as the national debt soars) and foreign traders to transact in U.S. dollars. Our policies simply do not cohere. They are reckless.

Rep. Cawthorn says he's been invited to orgies by OLD lawmakers and watched lawmakers do cocaine during time in D.C.
[JustTheNews] Congressman's comment in response to question about how life in Washington compares to its portrayal in TV show "House of Cards"

Freshman Rep. Madison Cawthorn says that during his roughly 14-months in Washington, D.C., he has been invited to orgies and fellow lawmakers have done cocaine in front of him.

The North Carolina Republican made the comments on a recent episode of "Warrior Poet Society" podcast.

Cawthorn discusses the ways in which political life in Washington, D.C., compares to the TV show "House of Cards."

Just before the four-minute mark of the episode, Cawthorn says that during his time in government lawmakers to whom he has looked up throughout his life have invited him to orgies.

"I look at all these people, a lot of them that I’ve looked up to through my life, I've always paid attention to politics. Then all of the sudden you get invited to: 'Well hey we’re going to have kind of a sexual get together at one of our homes, you should come,'" the first-term congressman host John Lovell.

"I’m like: 'What did you just ask me to come to?" Cawthorn continued. "Then you realize they are asking you to come to an orgy."

Cawthorn then remarked that some of the people who are "leading on the movement to try and remove addiction in our country" have done illicit drugs in front of him. "You watch them do, you know, a key bump of cocaine right in front of you and it’s like 'Wow, this is wild," he said.

Cawthorn's marriage ended after just eight-months, with he and his ex-wife acknowledging the difficult transition to public life.

15:56 Arestovich admits that the enemy can take Mariupol, "although it will not be easy or fast at all." He stated this in an interview with Mark Feigin. "If they are now transferring forces from Russia and from the north, this will give a result in total, and no matter how professional the defenders of Mariupol are, there will be grief," the adviser to the head of the Presidential Office explained.

The second "most unpleasant possible outcome," according to him, is the encirclement of Ukrainian forces in the JFO zone. In this case, the enemy will receive a "major operational victory." At the same time, he assured that Ukraine would not lose the war because of this.

Arestovich voiced another version of the development of events: in Mariupol, resistance will remain in certain areas, which will distract enemy forces from a strike in the northern direction, in the JFO zone, "thus giving us room for political maneuver."

In the JFO zone itself, according to him, Ukrainian troops will withdraw to previously prepared positions, while holding the front line, and will not allow themselves to be surrounded.

These reservists will be sent to Ukraine.

At the same time, with the help of the BARS program, they hide the involvement of Russian prisoners in hostilities. In particular, about 100 criminals held in the Chernokozovo colony in the Chechen Republic are already preparing to be sent to Ukraine. All of them were convicted of serious crimes (robbery, murder, distribution of drugs). Convicts who have received terms under political articles (extremism, terrorism) are not offered such agreements.

ISIS recruits poor for cannon fodder

#2  Muslim families give birth to many retarded or mentally handicapped children. The LET have a training course called the daura-e-maazoor that uses modern behavioral techniques to test for useful recruits. It filters in those that can carry out simple tasks like walking up to a spot and staying there or running into a building avoiding guards etc.

Started by two Paki doctors in 2000, a couple from London who used their own son as subject, the daura-e-maazoor course was designed for the LET and first run out of an internationally aided school for the mentally handicapped near the city of Peshawar. It yielded a bounty of superb fire-and-forget human munitions. The best part is, authorities that investigate the cases come up easily with 'mental handicap' instead of Islam as the motive.

Today, it is a modular course available in every one of the better terrorist schools disguised as islamic centers and mosques all over the world. The labels may change, but the zehni maazoor or nafsiyati maazoor [retards] are seen as assets instead of liabilities by the mullahs. Parents are taught to report and coopt their kids to islamic schooling learning to obey and function. Children with downs, other developmental or genetic problems...

And to a point they are made functional, sometimes parents are happy for that. Until the day comes to use the assets. For some. Not everyone is lucky enough for shahadat. Some just benefit from the care and training and live on. Their families are even grateful for it.

And that's just what the Jama'at e islami invented. Now the JeI is but a mild version of the darsh. There is no level of diabolism they will not go to.

So when the stupid NGO comes calling for a donation for 'poor people' to save them from terrorism or for 'unfirtunate' children in the moslem world, please make like you don't give a fuck.

#4  Muslim families give birth to many retarded or mentally handicapped children.

Over a thousand years of close cousin marriages, generation after generation, will do that.

From 2010: The Problem of Inbreeding in Islam

They developed a program to make use of those poor unfortunates? Goody. My mother, an occupational therapist who in the 1970s pioneered techniques to teach life and work skills to mentally retarded, multiply handicapped children and adults, would be appalled at the use her work has been put to.
Posted by: trailing wife || 03/29/2022 2:30 Comments || Top||

#5  Yes, modern techniques developed by educationists and therapists were used to first make these individuals trainable. The pakis thought it up first, a means of getting past security and getting the most use out of a huge number of unemployable dependents. A clear result of the legacy of human weaponization routine they recieved in the Carter years😉.

The AQ and ISIS have adopted it too. There are handicapped people aplenty in the ummah because of incêst and inbreeding. And it's really sound strategy because it stumps the authorities due to the faux altruistic nature of constitutions.

Mental Bombers all the rage

While this is the 'experts' output.

#6  A false dichotomy, indeed. As we’ve seen too often in America, some with certain kinds of mental illness will set themselves on the track of mass murder without any outside urging whatsoever. Not all, not even most, but enough to be a threat to the general populace.
Posted by: trailing wife || 03/29/2022 3:26 Comments || Top||

#7  ^ There's a major difference, tw. I don't see those people, the school shooters and idiots with rage against the system as in the same category. Those are suffering from systemic mindfcuk, if you'll pardon the French. Yes, the left has weaponized some by now. But those too are the products of the mass psychiatry experiment, fruitcakes out of broken families and students of crazed curricula. But to produce and raise handicapped individuals for the purpose of strapping bombs onto them? That's a low not even a lapsed, backslid judeochristian society will achieve.

There should probably be legislation that targets the marriages and reproductive habits of Moslems. We are trying that now in the east. While China is far ahead in the thing, we are legislating polygamy out, banning Moslem divorces, incêst and enforcing population control measures. There's only so much constitutional democracies can do I'm afraid.

If 'anti-terrorism' experts in the west were willing to learn instead of simply pad the job, adapt their enforcement in practice to the demands of the trade, they could save their societies some major heartache.
Posted by: Dron66046 || 03/29/2022 3:44 Comments || Top||

#8  But yes, you're right. Such cases are the only basis for legislative action in the west. So the system may not differentiate people with 'syndromes' and 'neuroses' from a squint eyed, oddly beaming fellow rushing toward a bunch of people with ball bearings and nails and rdx wired to a cellphone.

Yield Inversion 5 and 30 year USA bonds
[CNBC] U.S. 5-year and 30-year Treasury yields on Monday inverted for the first time since 2006, raising fears of a possible recession.

The yield on the 5-year Treasury note rose to 2.56 percent, while the 30-year yield fell to 2.55 percent. This is the first time the shorter-dated 5-year Treasury yield has risen above that of the longer-dated 30-year U.S. government bond since 2006 — just a couple of years before the Global Financial Crisis.

The main yield spread that traders watch — the spread between the 2-year and the 10-year rate — remained positive for now.
