[Walla.co.il] Some background on the victims of the attack in Bnei Brak
The two Ukrainians killed in the attack worked in construction and lived in the city. Sasha lived with his wife, and saved to build a house in Chernivtsi. Dimitri lives with his partner and is originally from Krasnoyarsk. Their friend said: "They were really good people, we would sit in the grocery store almost every day"

He recently learned that the house was ready and he planned to return to Ukraine on Passover. Dimitri lives with his partner and is originally from Krasnoyarsk.

Julian, a close friend of theirs, said that "they were really good people. Dima was always funny to everyone. Dima did not drink or smoke at all, was an athlete, kept going to the gym. We would sit here in the grocery store almost every day. Yesterday in luck "I slept at home. There was someone else from Ukraine who ran away with the bicycle."

Along with Sasha and Dimitri, in the killing spree of the terrorist, Yaakov Shalom, Avishai Yehezkel and Sergeant Major and Amir Khoury were also killed. In the second arena,

the incident joins an attack that took place this week in Hadera and an attack in Be'er Sheva last week. Five other Israelis were injured. The two terrorists, cousins from Umm al-Fahm, were killed in a shootout. ISIS (Islamic State) claimed responsibility for the attack.

Southern Poverty Law Center Is Racist, Employees Say
[WashingtonFreeBeacon] The Southern Poverty Law Center, which is best known for its extensive list of hate groups, is racist, according to its employees.

SPLC Union members protested outside of their employer's office Monday in opposition to the legal advocacy group's plan to require certain employees to return to in-person work. The union, in a statement, claimed the move targets black women because it primarily requires workers in low-level positions to return to the office.

"Staff in more highly regarded job classifications and who are higher-paid employees are being given the flexibility to work remotely, while women, Black, brown, and lower-paid employees are forced back into the office regardless of our work, our needs, and our advocacy for more inclusive treatment," Lisa Wright, a union bargaining committee member, said. "Forcing employees back into the office isn't about collaboration or cooperation—this is about policing and surveillance of SPLC's lowest-paid employees."

Having quickly looked over the SPLC Hate Group list.
I initially noted that ANTI-FA and BLM are not listed??????

Also, I have to wonder what their own racial diversity in staffing is? Having noted it was not listed on any of the sites I checked that were doing audits of their $$$ handling and etc...

Chris Rock Smooths Things Over With Will Smith By Sleeping With His Wife
[Babylon Bee] In a show of penitence for the insensitive joke told during the Oscars, Chris Rock offered to smooth things over with Will Smith by sleeping with his wife.

"My client feels incredible remorse for the violently inconsiderate jab aimed at Jada Pinkett Smith’s debilitating medical condition," said Rock’s publicist, "As such, Chris generously proposes making amends by making love."

Friends of the Smiths expressed surprise that Will’s initial reaction was to reject the comedian’s coital olive branch, knowing the cuckold really had no say in the matter. However, after learning he was at risk of losing his precious Oscar award, Smith expressed full support for the peace offering, again mistakenly assuming his decision would in any way influence his wife’s escapades.

Jada Pinkett Smith expressed overwhelming support for the comedian’s generous offer to reconcile and make things right and promised to pen him into her busy schedule of sleeping with other men

Ketanji Brown Jackson Disagreed with Expert Witness's Definition of Pedophilia
[Breitbart] Ketanji Brown Jackson disagreed with her expert witness’s definition of pedophilia during a hearing while serving as Vice-Chair of the U.S. Sentencing Commission.

At a February 2012 sentencing commission hearing, Jackson debated the definition of pedophilia with expert witnesses Gerald Grant, a digital forensics investigator; James Fottrell, a U.S. Department of Justice criminal child exploitation expert; and Dr. Gene Abel, founder of a medical group that works to identify pedophiles.

During a 2012 sentencing hearing, Jackson said:

Four arrested for ‘planning’ terrorist activity in Islamabad
[Dawn] Four suspects allegedly affiliated with Tehrik-e-Taliban
...Arabic for students...
Pakistain (TTP) were arrested for allegedly trying to target political gatherings in the capital, police said on Tuesday.

However,
a lie repeated often enough remains a lie...
they said, one of their accomplices managed to escape.

Police said explosives, detonators, ball bearings and iron nails were recovered from them, and a case was also registered against them at a cop shoppe of the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) under 7- Anti-Terrorism Act (ATA) and sections 4 and 5 of the Explosive Act. The four suspects were produced before a court from where they were transferred to police custody on four-day physical remand, they added.

According to the first information report (FIR), station house officer (SHO) of CTD cop shoppe got a tip about the presence of some suspects with explosives in Shakarparian and that they were planning a terrorist attack.

The SHO along with other coppers was on surveillance duty at Srinagar Highway near Zero Point at that time and shortly reached the area, the FIR said, adding that five suspects were spotted there.

Four of them were caught while one managed to escape, the FIR said, adding that the four suspects were residents of different areas of the capital.

During search, a shopping bag was recovered from them that had explosives weighing 500 grams, two detonators, iron nails of different sizes and ball bearings weighing 450g.

Biden budget requests $541 million for anti-ISIS mission in Iraq, Syria
[Rudaw] US President Joe The Big Guy Biden
...46th president of the U.S. The guy who lost Afghanistan, aka Biden's Bungle...
on Monday requested over five hundred million dollars from the 2023 budget for the fight against the Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
(ISIS) in Iraq and Syria, with the funds to be allocated to training and equipping local forces allied to America in both countries.

Out of the $773 billion budget, Biden proposed $541 million for forces in Iraq and Syria, according to details of the budget request published by the US Department of Defense.

Iraqi forces are to receive $358 million, with $183 million to be given to the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in northeast Syria (Rojava).

The Kurdistan Region’s Peshmerga forces are considered part of the Iraqi forces and have received weapons, salaries, training, and equipment from the US.

The US coalition’s combat mission in Iraq ended in December but continues in Syria. The force continues its advisory mission with the Iraqi and Peshmerga forces.

The new budget request for 2023 is an increase of around $58 billion from 2022.

The amount dedicated to the fight against ISIS has risen by $19 million compared to the year before as ISIS still remains a threat in the region.

"These investments are as vital as ever, as we face a myriad of challenges," Deputy Secretary of Defense Kathleen H. Hick said regarding the $773 billion budget request at a presser.

ISIS controlled swathes of Iraq and Syria in 2014 but it was territorially defeated in 2017 and 2019 respectively. However,
man does not live by words alone, despite the fact that sometimes he has to eat them...
the hard boyz continue to carry out bombings, hit-and-run attacks, and abductions on both sides of the border, particularly in areas disputed by Erbil and Baghdad.

A wanted Daesh individual arrested near Raqqa, Asayesh continues demining ops
[Twitter]

A mine action team affiliated with the Internal Security Forces of North and East Syria (Asayish) dismantled, on Tuesday, unexploded ordnances left by war erupted between the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) supported by the US-led Global Coalition and the Islamic State Organization (ISIS) in the city of Raqqa north Syria.

Two 10-ton shells, an 8-ton mortar and two mortar warheads were dismantled in wrecked buildings in Raqqa, Asayish posted on its official Facebook account.

On March 22, the Asayish announced, during a press conference in Qamishli, northeast Syria, the seizure of a shipment of an estimate of two and a half million narcotic pills filled in construction materials intended for smuggling to neighboring countries. The arrestees then admitted that a shipment was smuggled to a neighboring country without naming it.

The Asayish also announced the mine action team demined a landmine left by ISIS in Raqqa, ten days ago. Since last year, combat engineers have defused 79 land mines, 87 shells, 365 grenades, 12 explosive belts, and 25 missiles, all were remnants left by ISIS, Asayish told North Press.

Iraq
US grants Iraq 120-day waiver for Iranian energy imports
[Rudaw] The US has granted Iraq another 120-day sanctions waiver allowing the payment of electricity imports from neighboring Iran, the US Department of State confirmed to Rudaw on Tuesday, adding that it hopes this will provide Iraq enough time to draw up plans to become less reliant on Iranian imports.

The waiver enables Iraqi payments for Iranian electricity imports, bypassing existing US sanctions on Iranian exports. An official from the US State Department responded via email to questions asked by Rudaw’s Bijar Bashqali, saying that that the waiver ensures that energy demands in Iraq are met during the 120 days "while it takes steps to reduce its dependence on" imports from Iran.

The official also referred to the progress made regarding energy agreements during the four rounds of the Strategic Dialogue talks between the US and Iraq over the course of the past two years, with the last round taking place in July last year. The agreements reached are aimed at reducing Iraq’s dependence on Iranian imports and making the country self-sufficient.

The State Department added that it believes that 120 days are enough for the Iraqi government "to take meaningful action" to achieve self-sufficiency and in turn become less dependent on Iran.

This is not the first time the US has provided waivers to Iraq since sanctions were slammed on Iran. US President Joe The Big Guy Biden
...46th president of the U.S. We hold these truths to be self-evident. All men and women created ... by the — you know — you know, the thing...
extended the waivers in March and August last year.

In January 2021, Washington granted a three-month extension after "long discussions," an official told AFP at the time. On March 31, the US again agreed to another four-month extension.

The recent sanctions waiver comes amid ongoing talks in the Austrian capital aimed at restoring the 2015 nuclear deal. Iran
...Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979...
and world powers, including the US, have held talks for almost a year aimed at reviving the 2015 nuclear deal, with Iran insisting that the US must lift its crippling sanctions.

Washington does not allow Iraq to pay Iranian dues in US dollars, but western and Iraqi sources said that Iraqi officials had obtained a green light from the United States to release the money owed to Tehran through a Swiss bank account.

Senators Release Receipts Showing Direct Payments From Foreign Oligarchs To Hunter Biden
From a comment and link provided yesterday by our own Omelet Turkeyneck.
[Federalist] Shortly after The New York Times quietly admitted that Hunter Biden’s laptop is legitimate even though it was smeared as "disinformation" to protect then-candidate Joe Biden during the 2020 election, Republican Sens. Chuck Grassley of Iowa and Ron Johnson of Wisconsin released bombshell receipts showing Hunter received payments from foreign oligarchs that further reveal "the extent to which President Biden might be — and almost certainly is — compromised."

According to the documents obtained by the senators, energy company CEFC, "an arm of the Chinese Government," paid Wells Fargo Clearing Services $100,000 and designated "further credit to Owasco," Hunter’s firm.

"There’s no middle man in this transaction. This is $100,000 from what is effectively an arm of the communist Chinese government direct to Hunter Biden," Grassley said on the Senate floor on Monday. "To the liberal media and my Democratic colleagues: Is this official bank document Russian disinformation?"

Grassley and Johson had previously established that Hunter was financially involved with CCP oligarchs such as Gongwen Dong and Mervyn Yan using information obtained by the Obama administration, interviews with government officials, and bank documents signed by all of the suspected parties. Hunter had also reportedly admitted to representing CCP "spy chief" Patrick Ho, "who started the company that my partner, who is worth $323 billion, founded and is now missing."

This new receipt, Grassley said, is just the cherry on top of the Biden family’s anticipated corruption and a preview of more evidence to come.

Russia's Nightmare: The SR-72 Could Fly At Mach Six And Bomb Anything
[1945] Meet the SR-72 Son of Blackbird — The Future of the US Military and Russia or China’s nightmare? : Imagine a future crisis somewhere in Europe or Asia and the United States getting an intelligence-gathering aircraft overhead of the site in an hour and a half. It could become a reality in very short order as the US’ premier aeronautics engineers are making it happen.

The Lockheed Martin SR-72 — also known as the "Son of Blackbird", is the United States’ hypersonic unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) concept that is expected to have the capability to perform high-speed intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR), as well as strike operations.

The aircraft is being developed under Lockheed Martin’s Skunk Works or Advanced Development Programs. About 85 percent of the work done there is classified by the government.

Florida warns of new drug called Isotonitazene, much more powerful than fentanyl
[FOX] TAMPA — A new drug 20-100 times stronger than fentanyl is now making its way into common street drugs across the United States.

Isotonitazene, referred to as ISO, is creating problems for spring breakers in Florida and even leading to second-hand overdoses.

Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody issued a warning on ISO earlier this month, as law enforcement agencies warned the drug could be driving the recent increase in overdose deaths.

"For years, we have been warning about the dangers of fentanyl and how just one pill laced with this synthetic opioid can kill. Now, there is a new, deadlier drug being found in Florida. Isotonitazene ... is so strong that it can kill just by coming in contact with someone’s skin or being accidentally inhaled. ISO has already been linked to overdose deaths in Florida, so please, never take any illicit drug and know that using just one time could cost you your life," Moody said.

Ukraine's Military Says Russia Now Partially Withdrawn From Kiev; Pentagon Calls It Deceptive ‘Repositioning’
[ZERO] Update (1510ET): Ukraine's The Kyiv Independent English language news portal is citing the country's military who say Russian forces have partially withdrawn from Kyiv and Chernihiv, after the Kremlin said coming off "constructive" negotiations in Istanbul that the military would drastically reduce operations near the two major cities.

"According to Ukraine’s military, the Russian army is regrouping in the east to concentrate its military power in the area. In the south, Russia is preparing to resume offensive operations," the Kyiv-based outlet wrote.

#2  Kiev was never the focus. The base that matters is Sevastopol. Securing it by creating a cordon across the Black Sea coast and the Sea of Azov was the essential goal for Russia, along with ending the torture and slaughter of Russian speakers in the East. Yes, you were fooled. Zelensky is now desperate and dying for peace. Putin is playing with him like a cat with a wounded mouse.

Russia has achieved all its war aims in the south and is nearly finished in the east. Biden has disgraced himself on the world stage. People are calling for his removal, while Putin's grip on power is strong as ever.

Russia is dictating terms to his German and other western customers. The rouble has already made up all of its losses and hit 79 today. The resistance mark is around 85 which means that readers expect it to continue making gains.

The OPEC nations are solidly behind Russia and China refuse to join the West in punishing Russia. China, India and all the non western nations are avoiding or busting the sanctions, which are actually punishing the West. Germany announced today it will begin to ration gas to its citizens. The US policy is a total failure.

Germany braces for GAS RATIONING as Putin’s rouble payment deadline approaches

Russia’s top lawmaker suggested that Russia should also switch to rouble payments for other commodities. Vyacheslav Volodin, the speaker of Russia’s lower house of parliament, said in a post on Telegram: “If you want gas, find roubles,” before suggesting that rouble payments should be extended to oil, grains, metals, fertiliser, coal and timber for roubles on global markets

#8  China refuses to join the West in punishing Russia

China's foreign ministry is joining the West in denouncing Biden's dangerous fantasies of regime change:

"Far from backing away from an anti-Western position, top Chinese diplomats are pressing their case. Foreign Minister Wang Yi and Vice Foreign Minister Le Yucheng have made statements since the invasion blaming the U.S. for not considering Russia’s security concerns and denouncing the North Atlantic Treaty Organization’s eastward expansion.

In China’s telling, the world should have sympathy for Ukraine not because it was attacked by Russia, but because it is the victim of a reckless U.S. bid to maintain geopolitical dominance.

According to Beijing, the lesson for small countries is don’t be used as a pawn. The U.S. will manipulate them into fighting proxy wars against its adversaries.

#9  Germany announced today it will begin to ration gas to its citizens. The US policy is a total failure.

German rationing is a German failure. President Trump’s observation a few years ago that focussing on energy contracts with Russia would leave Germany at Russia’s mercy when diplomatic winds changed, while his offer to significantly increase shipments of American liquified natural gas was scornfully rejected. And somehow nothing came of Israeli proposals for a pipeline as well.

And of course all those wind power windmills were not able to take up the slack when Germany’s coal-powered and nuclear power plants were decommissioned. So Germany must ration while reversing course. Again, all German policies — nothing to do with America.

#10  According to Beijing, the lesson for small countries is don’t be used as a pawn. The U.S. will manipulate them into fighting proxy wars against its adversaries.

Whereas China historically has financed Maoist terror groups to overthrow the governments of small countries including India, and in recent years has been fomenting BLM actions in the U.S.

Don’t listen to China, “small” countries! China is asshole.

#11  Failing with India, too:

"While most of the world’s major democracies have rallied to Ukraine’s cause, the world’s largest democracy has conspicuously declined to publicly take sides in the conflict.

Earlier this month, India joined with 34 other countries that abstained from the United Nations’ motion condemning Russia’s attack, and it has continued to abstain from U.N. General Assembly motions taking stances against Moscow’s aggression. India’s [Western] allies have firmly, yet fruitlessly, urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government to reconsider its stance.

Shortly after India’s first U.N. vote abstention, the U.S. State Department dispatched, then retracted, a diplomatic cable referring to the subcontinent as being “in Russia’s camp.” The European Union, United Kingdom, Australia, and Japan later held multiple mostly hopeless discussions with New Delhi to persuade it to fully divest from Russia. Last week, U.S. President Joe Biden claimed in a public address that the United States and its allies “presented a united front” against Russian President Vladimir Putin—then called out India, exclusively, for “being somewhat shaky” on the issue.

Government Corruption
FDA, CDC Guilty of Clinical Malpractice and Scientific Fraud by Inaction and Omission on mRNA Vaccine Safety Warnings
[American Thinker] Today, unquestionably serious cardiovascular, thrombotic and neurologic adverse events related to the vaccine have occurred around the world. The FDA’s own vaccine adverse event tracking system (the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System or VAERS) shows substantial and serious risks from the vaccine, even though the FDA only collects an estimated 10% of all adverse events.

Still, federal agencies and manufacturers aren’t officially warning the American public about these risks, despite having been privy to this information for almost a whole year. Why? Because it would counter the narrative that taking endless vaccines and boosters is your patriotic duty.

It’s pretty clear today there are both safety and efficacy problems with vaccines and boosters. Because all of the FDA’s 18,000-plus employees had access to the same drug safety data we have, one must ask:

  • Where is the updated Covid-19 labeling reflecting the latest safety and efficacy findings in VAERS?
Where are the FDA "Dear Doctor" letters giving updated safety guidance?

  • Where are the "Dear Pharmacist" letters to pharmacists who are still daily administering thousands of boosters to kids and other young healthy people?

  • Why isn’t the FDA recommending follow-up symptom tracking to avoid further inflammatory neurologic/thrombotic/cardiovascular tragedies instead of its proposal to extend the dosing interval and cross fingers that it would mitigate risk (as there is no concrete clinical evidence that it will do anything?

Why is the FDA ignoring internal drug safety epidemiologists who have stated during official FDA presentations that it only takes a single, well-documented adverse event to justify a safety signal investigation and warning to the American public of the risk?

  • Why isn’t the FDA demanding studies addressing genotoxicity, teratogenicity, oncogenicity, the potential for reduced fertility in men and women, the clinical effects of spike proteins in donated blood, and the bioaccumulation of vaccine in women’s ovaries? Why isn’t the agency convening and dedicating a Data Safety Monitoring Board to surveil all these post-marketing effects and others?

Are Americans expected to believe that the $6.5 billion-per-year taxpayer-funded FDA lacks adequate funding to address all these public health issues?

FROM THE VAERS DATABASE as of 3-18-2022:
Cases for 60-70 year old males where
    Symptom = 'Aphasia' and
    1) All vaccines, vaccination date = 2019: 12 total cases
    2) Pfizer mRNA vaccine alone, since 2021: 340 total cases

Bruce Willis is 67 and developed aphasia after being vaccinated. Could it just be a coincidence? Maybe, but how did Willis’ doctors rule out the vaccine being causal?

We aren’t told this. Why not?

340 cases of aphasia vs. 12 for his age group… a factor of 28 higher reporting rate for the COVID vaccines.

#2  They're lying. The propaganda campaign is ridiculous. Putin's been restrained.

Defense analysts are finally beginning to speak out against all the BS that's being pushed at us.

"We need to understand Russia's actual conduct," says a retired Air Force officer, a lawyer by training who has been involved in approving targets for U.S. fights in Iraq and Afghanistan. The officer currently works as an analyst with a large military contractor advising the Pentagon and was granted anonymity in order to speak candidly.

"If we merely convince ourselves that Russia is bombing indiscriminately, or [that] it is failing to inflict more harm because its personnel are not up to the task or because it is technically inept, then we are not seeing the real conflict." In the analyst's view, though the war has led to unprecedented destruction in the south and east, the Russian military has actually been showing restraint in its long-range attacks.

As of the past weekend, in 24 days of conflict, Russia has flown some 1,400 strike sorties and delivered almost 1,000 missiles (by contrast, the United States flew more sorties and delivered more weapons IN THE FIRST DAY of the 2003 Iraq war).

The vast majority of the airstrikes are over the battlefield, with Russian aircraft providing "close air support" to ground forces. The remainder—less than 20 percent, according to U.S. experts—has been aimed at military airfields, barracks and supporting depots.

A proportion of those strikes have damaged and destroyed civilian structures and killed and injured innocent civilians, but the level of death and destruction is low compared to Russia's capacity.

"I know it's hard ... to swallow that the carnage and destruction could be much worse than it is," says the DIA analyst. "But that's what the facts show. This suggests to me, at least, that Putin is not intentionally attacking civilians, that perhaps he is mindful that he needs to limit damage in order to leave an out for negotiations."

Of course. If Putin was willing to crater Ukraine just to get at the leadership, Zelensky would be a red daub somewhere in the rubble. And there's nothing NATO could do about it without getting Americans killed. Granted, Biden could even go that far, but then the deepState would take out Biden before that. Russia is fully prepared either way. So any pulling back of hostility or dial down from the Kremlin means they're genuinely not interested in creating misery for everyone, just for certain people. Zelensky is making civs fight under threat of being branded traitors. Not only civs but anyone he can find. Enlisting free radicals, mercs, anyone to protect his presidency. This is real criminal behaviour.

Yes it is. Zelensky more than anyone is responsible for this war. Why did he suddenly change his time last year and start declaring absurd goals like "taking back Crimea" and joining Nato?

Who goaded Zelensky to begin taunting the Bear in 2021? He didn't behave that way during Trump's time. Quite opposite actually

#7  #2 They're lying. The propaganda campaign is ridiculous. Putin's been restrained.

This article -- which is not from "USAA" by the way but from the dissident website USSA -- shows all the ways the propaganda operates. It's really breathtaking how the "lying corporate media" have ignored salient facts and either memoryholed or simply blocked out everything Putin has said.

The linked article reviews these point by point. It's amazing how sane and rational the Russian case actually is -- you would never know it from all the BS that's been spread by our left wing globalists and kleptocrats.

How many Americans or Euros know that the US pushed the Kiev regime to rip up the Minsk II Treaty? To demand Nato accession? That Zelensky was demanding nukes and openly declaring his intention to seize Russia's most important naval base?

How many know that for 8 years the Kiev regime installed through a US coup d'etat has been waging war on and terrorizing Russians who live in the eastern regions of the country?

Do Americans even know that Putin repeatedly warned the US that these actions were intolerable and represented a real and present danger to Russian security?

#13  The war started in May 2014. It's been going on without a break for 8 years. The precipitating cause was a new regime in Kyiv brought to power by a US-aided coup. There's extensive documentary evidence implicating American officials (Nuland, Pyatt) in that coup.

There's also tonnes of evidence that Obama administration and former Clinton administration officials colluded with the Ukrainian Embassy in Washington to spread lies and disinformation about what was actually happening in Kyiv and in the eastern regions where the war was raging.

The Russians and many US foreign policy experts have been consistently warning the West for many years that these provocative and reckless actions by American operatives would eventually push Russia to protect its vital national interests on its southwestern border. Just like the US would if China were provoking a Mexican puppet regime to demand the return of Texas, use paramilitaries to kill Americans on our southwestern border and build up a hostile military with China's help and encouragement.

#14  The next thing I expect to hear from these obnoxious claques is that it was the Ukrainians who invaded Russia exactly when the Russian army had forces on the border for exercises, and unfairly used modern weapons to attack the long convoys of Russian armor that entered into Ukraine in response to that invasion. Notoriously corrupt governments are supposed to have weapons systems that are disassembled and don't work, or use bad logistic practices to destroy their own forces. Don't the Ukrainians know enough to steal from their army enough to make it a laughing stock?
The Russians at least know enough to follow the American example and screw up everything they touch. Ukraine used to be pretty good at screwing up. Didn't Zelensky know how?
And none of you guys mention the wonderful opportunities all those refugees have gotten to travel abroad like they were on vacation. They should be thanking Putin for that, and for the opportunity to escape from Zelensky's brutal tyranny.

    -Lurid Crime Tales-
CIA veteran who signed Hunter Biden laptop letter says he sarcastically claimed credit for 2020 election
[Washington Examiner] A longtime CIA veteran who signed the infamous letter baselessly asserting Russian involvement in the Hunter Biden laptop saga said he was proud to have played his part in influencing the 2020 election in favor of President Joe Biden — before backtracking and claiming he was being sarcastic when he became embroiled in a Twitter spat with Donald Trump's ex-intelligence chief.

John Sipher retired in 2014 after a 28-year career in the CIA’s National Clandestine Service, and he is one of the dozens of former intelligence officials who claimed the laptop story "has all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation."

Sipher, a longtime defender of Christopher Steele's discredited dossier, is now a co-founder of Spycraft Entertainment and a senior fellow at the Atlantic Council.

Despite offering no proof, Joe Biden’s 2020 campaign, along with many in the media, dismissed the laptop story as being a Russian disinformation operation.

The letter hedged a bit at various times, noting that "we do not have evidence of Russian involvement." But, it said, "our experience makes us deeply suspicious that the Russian government played a significant role in this case." The letter argued that "if we are right, this is Russia trying to influence how Americans vote in this election" and expressed "our view that the Russians are involved in the Hunter Biden email issue."

After the New York Post published emails belonging to his son, then-candidate Biden called the laptop story "garbage" and part of a "Russian plan" during an October 2020 debate with then-President Donald Trump. He was referring to the Politico report about the letter in an article titled "Hunter Biden story is Russian disinfo, dozens of former intel officials say."

The title was misleading because the letter never directly called it Russian "disinformation," but Sipher himself shared the story.

    Olde Tyme Religion
Minneapolis allows Muslim call to prayer adhan ahead of Ramadan
[Garowe] The city of Minneapolis in the U.S. Midwest has allowed the Islamic call to prayer, known as the adhan, ahead of the holy month of Ramadan.

The call to prayer can be recited by local mosques in the city of Minneapolis, the largest in the state of Minnesota.

The city council approved a bill, presented by council member Jamal Osman, allowing the prayer to be recited publicly by loudspeaker between the hours of 7 a.m. and 10 p.m., so long as local noise ordinances are respected.

Calling the measure a step in the right direction for religious equality, Osman said, "We have a lot of work still to do to make sure everyone is enjoying the same rights, every religion is enjoying."

Under the measure, mosques will be able to make the call to prayer by loudspeaker three times a day, except for morning and night prayers, provided that the volume is below a certain decibel limit.

"The Adhan is one of the most important parts of our faith," Osman wrote on Twitter, adding that the call can be made at the same hours allowed for Christian church bells.

He called the move "a signal of the equality and community we have built here. This is America and we are allowed to share our faith from the rooftops, just like everyone else."

The call to prayer was first legalized in the U.S. in 2004 in the city of Hamtramck, Michigan, by a decision of the local government, followed by Dearborn, the only U.S. city in the same state where Moslems are a majority.

The city council of Paterson, New Jersey, where nearly 30,000 Moslems live, was the third city to pass a measure authorizing the call to prayer, in March 2020.

#1  You stupid stupid bastards. [shakes head]

And pity the people of Minneapolis. The azaan is 'an important part of the faith' because it's one of the six muhaaz [waypoints] to be won on the way to dominance of a community. It is a rallying cry, more a sign of dominance that reminds everyone that the eye-slam is here to stay.

These are roughly the six waypoints taught by islamic strategists out of the deoband. The older turkic ones are fourteen in number and similar, containing some guidelines on taqiya. In modern Islamism, taqiya is only an attitude. A basic obfuscation of intent taught to every moslem from childhood.

    1. Population expansion. Establishment of significant numbers to demand recognition of religious needs. Countries where they are purposely denied anything beyond survival, they do this by silently breeding. In liberal, bleeding heart countries they do so by immigration. They

    2. Mosques and madrassas. At first these are led by young, modern men or fuddy duddies with white beards and a genial attitude. Preaching is about love, peace, etc. The best values, how to be a good citizen and all that. This actually ensures one generation even gets through school and college as perfectly well adjusted little bastitches. They are encouraged by community [especially in liberal socialist nations] to take up law, civil services, influential roles that will help in...

    3. Dawah. Attraction of other communities to the thingy. By good behaviour, with music and entertainment, with celebration of the culture itself, dressing it up and advertising it as grand. This is a mixed bag and locals begin to feel the pique by now. And the moslems begin to get irritated with the slowness of the locals to accept their greater faith. Poetry, islamic fashions, Ramzaan, Eid, iftaar, azaan, slowly mutate into something else.

    4. Mass namaaz on roads jamming traffic, displays of numbers in bloody slaughter of goats openly, the river of blood symbolic of a promise of violence. Islamic laws begin to glaringly clash with local laws of the land. Honor killing and rape and murder become rampant. Supremacist aggression and criminal actions are encouraged by the new leaders of the mosques which by now have councils. These are not fuddy duddies but men with bookshelves full of Egyptian, Turkish and Indian muslim authors calling for a guerrilla approach to genocide and domination.

    5. While the previous generation has gone on to establish benevolent trusts, foundations, PACs and lobbies. Some of them manage to convert local celebrity or marry into industry, government, places of influence where they may help their other arms of ghazwa [conquest]. Any influence is good. All that matters is the goal, which is to ultimately dominate. They continually 'condemn' the crime and the bigotry of 'some section' of moslems. These are allegedly not real moslems and do not represent the real peaceful... whatever. Using the stupid legal remedies provided to all and sundry irrespective of the fact that they care fcuk-all for your constitutions, one arm intimidates physically while the other litigates for the freedoms to do so. They legislate more and more of the Shariah into local law. This present bill is a case in point. Now these goings on create friction with the host society. And they either push back and win or they don't. For example in Thailand they won, and in Japan and Hungary and Italy, Burma and some parts of India. But these places all had a physically aggressive element, supremacists and Islam haters unafraid of their own misguided authorities. Not in hundreds but thousands. Where a physical dominance was possible.

    6. Where physical dominance of the kaffir is impossible due to numbers, they ally. There is a marxist, anti-national, anti-establishment element in every sôciety. Quasi-commie wards of sorôs types, communities of tribals barely integrated and leaning to criminality, organized criminals... They help build an ecosystem of elements geared up for undermining the very moral and social substratum of the host population that won't allow them dominance. The BLM is a good example of this as I've repeatedly said. Most of the comedians, actors and influencers of black youth have got to be either closet Sunnis or must have some 'my islamic friend'. From põrn stars to congresswomen, open hatred for the judeochristian part of society is propagated until it becomes murderous rage. Color, ideology, class are just excuses. The aim is to make all enemies of the opposing majority your friends, and to aid them in the jihad proper.

In every case of this slow, plodding encroachment on local population, Islamists have lost only when the population itself took up arms and unafraid of the labels of fascist and Nazi and islamophobe, lynched and raped the fear of the majority into them.

Now you may curse at me for being some third world hate monger and tell me 'we do things a bit differently heah!' Trust me, your enemy is banking on it.

#2  Clearly laid out, Dron. I’ve seen it defined as successive increases of percent of local population.

We’ve been watching the various stages of the process progress in various parts of the world. In the suburbs of France they’ve got mass namaz blocking select streets along with killing priests and nuns and desecrating churches. In England they beat up teachers who try to teach about the Holocaust and get the idiot elected Lord Mayor of London, while the police dare not arrest — or actually overtly protect — “Asian” grooming gangs. In Germany it is considered racist to notice that the migrants colonists from the Ummah are raping native sons as well as daughters. In America the process is still beginning, except in certain communities, and of course prisons; in the armed forces and the FBI, etc, certain things can no longer be spoken about or openly planned against, a situation that had already begun by the end of the George W. Bush presidency, with his talk of the “Religion of Peace”; President Barack Hussein Obama — unbeliever in higher powers that he clearly is, that son of a Communist anthropologist — took it up several notches.

    Syria-Lebanon-Iran
4 killed in northern countryside of Daraa

Late on Monday, anonymous gunmen assaulted the house of a former member of the Syrian opposition factions killing him and his wife in al-Sanamayn city in the northern countryside of Daraa, south Syria.

Muhammed Jaber al-Etmeh, nicknamed ‘Saydalani’ and his wife identified as Hana’ al-Etmeh were critically injured after their house was targeted with handmade grenade dropped by unknown gunmen, local sources told North Press.

The two were transferred to the hospital where they succumbed to their injuries.

Al-Etmeh, who joined the opposition factions before, underwent a settlement process by the government in 2018 and he joined no military formations afterwards.

A doctor working in one of the Russian-backed factions was killed on Tuesday when an explosive device exploded against his car in the northern countryside of Daraa.

“The doctor, Tha’ir Ziyad al-Balkhi, was killed as a result of the explosion of an explosive device planted in his car by unknown persons while it was in front of his house in the town of Mahja in the northern countryside of Daraa,” local sources told North Press.

“The doctor worked in the ranks of the Eighth Brigade of the Russian-backed Fifth Corps. He worked in the hospital of the city of Busra al-Sham, the Brigade’s stronghold in the eastern countryside of Daraa,” the sources added.

It is noteworthy that the officers of the Russian forces recruited hundreds of former members of the opposition factions from Daraa in their 8th Brigade, after the government forces entered the governorate in 2018.

A child was shot on Tuesday evening, by a member of the government forces in the northern countryside of Daraa.

“The child, Yamen Hussam Qanbus, was shot in the chest by a member of the State Security detachment of the government forces, in the city of al-Hara in the northern countryside of Daraa. He was subsequently transported to Damascus hospitals,” a local source told North Press.

“The officers of the government forces present in the detachment justified the shooting, saying that the child was injured by a gunshot wound by mistake,” the source added.

SDF, Global Coalition kill one ISIS member, arrest another in Deir ez-Zor; bodies of 2 kidnapped SDF fighters found

A member of ISIS was killed and four others were arrested on Monday in two separate operations by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) along the Global Coalition forces, in a town, east of Deir ez-Zor, east Syria.

“The Global Coalition aircraft targeted the house of Abed al-Salem al-Abbo, an ISIS member, near the main road in the center of the town of Theban with a helicopter landing operation,” a military source from Theban town, 50 km east of Deir ez-Zor, told North Press.

“Al-Abbo was killed during the landing operation when trying to escape, and another member of ISIS was arrested,” the source said.

The landing coincided with raids by SDF to pursue wanted men on charges of belonging to ISIS in the same town.

“SDF stormed al-Latwa neighborhood near the bank of the Euphrates River in the center of the town, to pursue wanted persons on charges of belonging to ISIS,” the same source told North Press.

“Three wanted persons, including a displaced person from the town of Mahkan, which is under the control of government forces, east of Deir ez-Zor, west of the Euphrates, were arrested in the raids,” the source added.

Recently, the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor has been witnessing an increase in cases of killing of members of the SDF, employees of the Autonomous Administration, tribal dignitaries and civilians, as a result of which SDF and the Global Coalition forces have intensified their security operations in the region.

On Sunday, ISIS announced, through media close to it, capturing and killing three SDF members in the town Susah in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor.

Residents a town east of Deir ez-Zor, east Syria, found, on Tuesday, bodies of two fighters of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) who were kidnapped three days ago.

“Residents of the town found bodies of two SDF fighters near the site of their work lying on a land in the center of Susah town, 120 kilometers east of Deir ez-Zor,” an SDF military source said.

Three SDF fighters were kidnapped while they were on an exploratory walkabout on the river crossings in the town, to find the bodies of two of them later while the third is still missed, the source added.

Yesterday, the Islamic State Organization (ISIS), through close outlets, claimed responsibility for arresting and killing three SDF fighters after subjecting them to investigations and confiscating the weapons they had.

In response, the SDF imposed a curfew in the town after the incident and started patrols to pursue the kidnappers, but they did not managed to hunt them so far.

Recently, Deir ez-Zor countryside has been witnessing a spike in assassinations against SDF members, the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) employees, clan dignitaries and civilians despite launching intensive security operations.

Two days ago, the SDF arrested three wanted individuals on charges of links to ISIS in the town of Diban in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor.

    Iraq
Iraqi security forces raid three ISIS hideouts in Nineveh, 2 soldiers kaboomed

Iraqi security forces reportedly raided three ISIS hideouts in Nineveh, earlier today, Tuesday.

The source told Shafaq News Agency that the force on duty found and seized "fresh vegetables" and logistic supplies inside those hideouts.

"The operation is still underway," the source said.

In al-Hadar desert, southeast of Mosul, a force from the Iraqi army detonated a pickup that belonged to the terrorist organization of ISIS.

The detonation carried out under controlled conditions went smoothly without any complications.

Earlier today, the spokesperson to the Commander-in-Chief of the Iraqi Armed Forces, Major-General Yehya Rasool, said that the Iraqi airforce warplanes executed four airstrikes in Wadi Chay in Kirkuk.

On Tuesday, an official security source said that an explosive device blew up targeting a vehicle belonging to the 16th Division of the Nineveh Operations Command of the Iraqi army.

The explosion wounded two Iraqi soldiers. The source reported.

The two soldiers were on a mission as part of the operations launched on Tuesday in three governorates.

The Iraqi security forces and the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) carried out large-scale operations in three governorates against ISIS members this morning.

In a statement, the PMF media said that the Nineveh-Saladin- Al-Anbar Operations Commands, affiliated with the Joint Operations Command of the Ministries of Defense and Interior and the Air Force Command and Army Aviation, launched security operations to "eliminate terrorist groups and destroy their hideouts in Al-Jazeera and the areas among the governorates of Nineveh, Saladin, and Al-Anbar."

For its part, the Joint Operations Command, the highest authority in the Iraqi army, said that the commanders of the operations of Al-Jazeera, Saladin, and West Nineveh, in collaboration with the Popular Mobilization Units, the Nineveh, Saladin, and West Anbar axes, and the Air Forces, carried out an overall security operation (Strong Will) in the southern Al-Hader and Al-Jazeera regions in the north of the Euphrates and the areas west of Wadi Tharthar.

The Al-Anbar Operations Command said it had launched the "Lions of the Desert" Operation, which targets areas north of the Al-Qaim district towards the Al-Jazeera desert in Mosul.

"Our forces carried out this morning a security operation from three main axes, in partnership with the Iraqi army and the army's aviation," Qassem Musleh, the PMF commander of Al-Anbar Operations, said in a statement.

The Commander added, "the operation is one of the PMF's major security operations since the victory over ISIS."

KDP demolishes its headquarters in Baghdad

The Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) decided to demolish its headquarters in Baghdad.

Photos obtained by Shafaq News Agency showed excavators demolished the building of the KDP 5th branch in the Karrada area in central Baghdad.

Yesterday, the KDP closed its headquarters in Baghdad and suspended its work in protest against setting fire and destroying its properties.

The KDP's 5th branch in Baghdad said, "We affirm that the Kurdistan Democratic Party is a long party in Iraq with a long and honorable history of struggle alongside the Iraqi national parties, and it was and still plays a leading role in consolidating freedom, democracy and the political process in Iraq."

"KDP cannot accept these outlaw offending, insults, and chaotic behavior."

"Since the headquarters of our party was attacked for the second time without taking the necessary protection measures by the security services, we have decided to close it."

"We reiterate our condemnation and denunciation of any offending of religious references, and at the same time, we condemn and denounce the attack on our headquarters."

"We call Iraqi national political forces to condemn these acts that are far from morals, values, and humanitarian principles."

On Monday, The Kurdish Ministry of Interior announced arresting Nayef Kurdistani after sharing a tweet they considered "offensive" to the Iraqi Supreme Religious Authority.

Before the arrest, angry demonstrators destroyed and broke fire into the Kurdistan Democratic Party's headquarters in Baghdad.

Russia pledges to drastically reduce fighting around Kyiv during latest peace talks
[NYPOST] Russia on Tuesday claimed it would "radically" reduce its attacks around Kyiv and Chernihiv as a good-will gesture amid peace talks — but critics contended the move was just a retreat after Kremlin losses."Given that the talks on the preparation of an agreement on the neutrality and non-nuclear status of Ukraine have moved into a practical field ... a decision has been made to radically, by several times, reduce the military activity in the areas of Kyiv and Chernihiv," said Russian Deputy Defense Minister Alexander Fomin.

He added that the pledge was meant "to increase trust" in talks aimed at ending the fighting, as negotiators met again after several failed rounds of discussions.

But some military analysts described the move as a relatively empty gesture, given that Russia has yet failed to take the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv, which it had reportedly expected to swiftly do after invading its eastern neighbor in late February.

"Reportedly" means, "We just pulled that out of our arse."
Russia never wanted to "take Kyiv." The political objective was always to partition the country in order to secure the rights of Russian speakers in the east and consolidate control of the coastline and Crimea in the south.

Nearly 1 million migrants have already crossed the border in SIX MONTHS: Staggering figures revealed as Biden plans to give COVID vaccines to migrants and the White House braces for huge influx when Title 42 is dropped
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news]
    • Border Patrol Chief Raul Ortiz is warning that in the next few days, CBP will have encountered 1 million migrants from when Fiscal Year 2022 started in October

    • So far in FY2022, 838,685 migrants were encounters by CBP – and when figures are released for March that number will climb to at least 1 million

    • It comes as the administration plans to give COVID-19 vaccines to migrants taken into custody in the U.S.
Brilliant idea. Why should those legally here be the only ones to experience side effects? And this will mean pre-purchased vaccines will be used up instead of going to waste
    • Estimates show that around 170,000 migrants are waiting on the Mexican side of the southern border to cross into the U.S. once Title 42 ends

    • The provision allowed for immediate expulsion without hearing asylum claims in the midst of the pandemic

    • In preparation for this surge, DHS is prepared to initially provide up to 2,700 vaccines per day to migrants at their facilities

    • They plan to increase that to 6,000 daily by the end of May

I agree we need to secure the USA borders.

BUT, we need also seasonal AG workers, like it was PRE-Jimmy Carter days.

Anyone walking around in Wally World can see we already having spot food shortages. We will desperately need persons willing to work long hard hours as farmhands to grow, harvest, and get it to market.

SO, what if we stopped, at any government level, paying US Citizens, Visa holders, and illegals to sit on their butts and have babies. But, instead instituted a Community Work for Benefits requirement.

I am willing to bet we'd see a lot fewer people living off of the Taxpayer's dole and filling those Wally World / Mickey D's and etc... vacant jobs.

    Syria-Lebanon-Iran
Bou Habib Says Return of KSA, Kuwait Envoys Not Officially Confirmed
[An Nahar] Foreign Minister Abdallah Bou Habib has noted that the latest improvement in the Lebanese-Gulf ties had started with the Kuwaiti paper that had been submitted to Leb
...an Iranian colony situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel. Formerly inhabited by hardy Phoenecian traders, its official language is now Arabic, with the usual unpleasant side effects. The Leb civil war, between 1975 and 1990, lasted a little over 145 years and produced 120,000 fatalities. The average length of a ceasefire was measured in seconds. The Lebs maintain a precarious sectarian balance among Shiites, Sunnis, and about a dozeen flavors of Christians. It is the home of Hezbollah, which periodically starts a war with the Zionist Entity, gets Beirut pounded to rubble, and then declares victory and has a parade. The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers...
"We thank Kuwait’s foreign minister for his efforts and we hope the Lebanese-Saudi relations will be gradually restored," Bou Habib said in remarks to OTV.

"We have not heard from Soddy Arabia
...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. When the oil runs out the rest of the world is going to kick sand in the Soddy national face...
that its ambassador will return to Lebanon and everything said was only published in newspapers," the minister added.

"As for the Kuwaiti ambassador, he will return, but no date has been set until the moment," Bou Habib went on say.

    Afghanistan
Taliban defeated in battle with the Andarabis

Andarab is a valley and district in the south of Baghlan province populated by Tajiks, historically known for its grain products. It lies next to Panjshir Valley, home of Ahmad Massoud’s anti-Talib National Resistance Front, and is aligned with the NRF. It appears the Talib conquest of Afghanistan remains incomplete, despite taking women and children hostage.

#5  Scuttlebutt was the Chinese have made overtures to Masoud's loyalists. They first wanted them to make peace with Kabul, then they offered covert help in resisting. Materiel, armament, ammo. Why, we cannot say. Maybe they wish to contain the conflict from spilling eastward. Maybe they're hedging bets. Many in Masoud's group lean toward commie I'm told. China is no fool. If it sees promise in Masoud, there must be a reason. I think it's just because sasquatches are bad for long term business relationships. The Taliban cannot outgrow their sasquatchery like Saudis or Turks can. Masoud's resistance is still made of moderate moslems. I don't know, maybe wrong.

Embarrassing moment FBI cyber chief admits to not knowing what the agency has done with Hunter Biden's seized laptop - as Florida Republican Matt Gaetz whips out a copy of the hard drive and has it admitted into Congress as evidence
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] Ignorance or protecting the organization?
    • The Florida lawmaker is currently under investigation for sex trafficking claims

    • He asked how Americans 'are supposed to trust' the FBI if its cyber division cannot establish the whereabouts of Hunter Biden's laptop

    • Matt Gaetz claimed to be in possession of the laptop's hard drive, likely a copy

    • House Judiciary Chair Jerry Nadler stopped him from entering it into the record but changed his mind a short while later after 'further investigation'

    • Gaetz also introduced the 'Spook Who Cried Wolf Resolution' aimed at stripping security clearances from intel experts who called laptop 'Russian disinformation

Ukraine appears to strike back for first time with missile hit on Russian military camp
[NYPOST] Ukrainian forces may have struck back inside Russia on Tuesday with their first significant shelling.A Ukrainian missile appeared to have hit a temporary Russian military encampment outside Belgorod, in Russia’s village of Krasny Oktyabr, about 40 miles from the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv, said the Russian state-run news agency
...and if you can't trust the state-run news agency who can you believe?...
    Tass.

Regional Gov. Vyacheslav Gladkov said there were no casualties, but an emergency service worker told Tass that 4 Russian soldiers were maimed.

Video posted online from two local Belgorod news outlets appeared to show ammunition blowing up, but the source of the earth-shattering kaboom could not be immediately confirmed outside of Tass.

If verified, the strike would apparently be the first that struck a military target inside Russia and maimed soldiers. Last week, Tass said two men were hurt when a shell from Ukraine went kaboom! in the same area.

Russian publics write about a strike on a Ukrainian missile warehouse. According to some Russian media, the 19th missile brigade delivered the Tochka-U missile. There is no official information yet.

21:51 The French Development Agency will provide Ukraine with 300 million euros in concessional loans, Finance Minister Sergei Marchenko said.

21:47 According to the agreed three humanitarian corridors, today 1,665 people arrived in Zaporozhye on their own transport, Vereshchuk said. Of these, 936 people from Mariupol and 729 residents of the Zaporozhye region.

21:43 Vereshchuk said that the Cabinet of Ministers is preparing a program to support Ukrainians who were forcibly taken to Russia.

21:29 The head of the Kiev Regional Military District Alexander Pavlyuk said that the enemy is regrouping troops, partially withdrawing them to the territory of Belarus. In the direction of Brovary, the Russians are trying to hold on to their previously occupied positions and prevent further advancement of Ukrainian troops.

21:25 In Nikolaev, Moskovskaya Street was renamed Mariupolskaya.

21:21 Arestovich said that Putin's plans have completely failed, Russia is afraid to involve Belarusians in the "special operation", as they will go over to the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He also said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are already liberating the Sumy region, part of the Kharkov and Kiev regions. "Russian columns are leaving from there. This is a failure for them," the adviser to the head of the Presidential Office added.

21:19 The Pentagon believes that the movements of Russian troops in the Kiev region are "relocation, not withdrawal of troops," and you still need to be prepared for major clashes in other regions of Ukraine.

21:15 Putin, in response to Macron's request for the evacuation of the inhabitants of Mariupol, replied to the French president that "to resolve the situation" Ukrainian troops must lay down their arms, the Kremlin press service reports.

The French presidential administration reported this as follows: "During the conversation between Macron and Putin, it was stated that a humanitarian operation in Mariupol is now impossible."

21:10 Luxembourg has frozen Russian assets worth 2.5 billion euros.

20:59 The Center for Counteracting Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council reports that the occupiers are driving away their equipment and shelling from the outskirts of the villages, after which they pass through the village, help people get out from the rubble and tell the legend that it is allegedly the Ukrainian military who are shelling.

20:52 During the analysis of the rubble of the building of the Nikolaev Regional State Administration, rescuers got the bodies of 12 dead already, the State Emergency Service reported.

20:50 Russian occupiers have banned employees of the Zaporizhzhya NPP from coming to work with smartphones, Energoatom reports.

20:40 Podolyak on the Crimean issue: "Direct bilateral negotiations on the Crimean issue and fixing the current situation for 15 years is a revolutionary proposal. As it means, at a minimum, the return of the topic of Crimea to the negotiating agenda. Before that, the Russians categorically refused this. "And besides, it allows us to preserve the current legal interpretations of Crimea, since for us Crimea is, of course, part of Ukraine. Refusal of mutual military escalation on the Crimean issue is the key to a general cessation of the war."

20:35 Podolyak said that Ukraine looks strong as an initiator of the reform of the global security architecture. Kyiv also receives guarantees of mandatory entry into the single market of the European Union as a full member. "What is extremely important - both in terms of financing large-scale programs for the modernization of the economy, and in terms of abandoning excessive bureaucratic procedures on the way to join the EU," he specified.

The adviser to the head of the Presidential Office also explained that the presence of Russia, along with the United States, Great Britain, Turkey, Germany and other countries, as a signatory of the multilateral agreement "imposes many additional burdens on the Russians and allows us not to go for a complicated bilateral format."

"Only within the framework of a multilateral agreement can the traditional Russian non-binding nature of legal agreements be avoided," Podolyak stressed.

20:10 In Mariupol, the Russians abducted and took to Russia the staff and patients of the city maternity hospital No. 2, the City Council reported.

20:08 The head of the Zaporizhia OVA Alexander Starukh said that the Russian invaders did not let a single column through the green corridor today.

20:03 The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirms that Russia is withdrawing individual units from the Kiev and Chernihiv regions. At the same time, the enemy is regrouping to concentrate the main efforts on the Slobozhansky and Donetsk directions.

19:53 Kuleba said that in Irpen, although he was released, there is still "a lot of work", and so far it is impossible to talk about bringing humanitarian aid there.

The Foreign Minister also said that the Chernobyl area remains the most difficult region, where people have been isolated from the first day of the war. He assured that the authorities are doing everything to achieve agreements on green corridors.

19:47 Blinken said he does not see "any significant efforts on the part of Russia to end the war it is waging through diplomacy." According to him, "there is what Russia says, and there is what Russia does - we are focused on the latter."

19:36 Medinsky clarified that the "de-escalation" of hostilities by Russian troops in the Kiev and Chernigov directions does not mean a ceasefire.

19:32 Pushilin said that the "DPR" will consider the issue of joining the Russian Federation after the liberation of the entire "republic".

19:25 The UN counted 3,039 civilian casualties in Ukraine during the Russian invasion, including 1,179 dead. The organization notes that the real losses are much higher.

19:15 Ukraine has suffered "considerable losses" in personnel among the military, but they will not disclose the exact figure until the end of the war, Arestovich said.

"Not a single army in the world names its losses during the war. It is simply forbidden. This is a state secret, firstly. And secondly, it can help the enemy evaluate the effectiveness of their actions," the adviser to the head of the Presidential Office explained.

19:11 In the area of the village of Boguchar, Voronezh region of the Russian Federation, the enemy removes military and special equipment from long-term storage, more than 40% of which is in a faulty or inoperative condition, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.

19:09 Adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Vadim Denisenko on the results of the negotiations: "So far, the words of the Russians that they will reduce the intensity of hostilities are just words. We hear the cannonade near Irpen. There are fights in Mariupol all the time."

Elon Musk reveals 3 biggest existential threats to humanity's survival
[NYPOST] Tesla founder Elon Musk has identified what he views as the three most significant existential threats facing humans — with falling global birthrates at the top of the list.
He can claim to have done his bit: Mr. Musk has five surviving children with his first wife and two with the recent girlfriend. Most of the children were carried by surrogate mothers.
The billionaire, who has spoken extensively about his belief that humans aren’t having enough children, reiterated his concern when asked to reveal his "biggest fear." Musk said humanity’s falling birth rate has been "troubling [him] for many years," adding that he drives his friends "crazy" by bringing it up so often.

"I spent a lot of time talking about the birthrate thing," Musk said in an interview with the Axel Springer CEO Mathias Döpfner published over the weekend. "That might be the single biggest threat to the future of human civilization."

Musk identified two other leading existential threats: his fears of "artificial intelligence going wrong" and the rise of what he called "religious extremism."

Musk’s fear was reflected in recent data from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The US birth rate declined by 4% from 2019 to 2020, marking the sixth consecutive year of declines and the lowest number of births since 1979.

President Biden appears to reveal US troops training Ukrainian forces in Poland
[NYPOST] President Biden appeared to let slip Monday that US troops are training Ukrainian forces in Poland — contradicting his national security adviser and creating more confusion about the 82nd Airborne’s mission in Eastern Europa
...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum...
during the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Biden was trying to clarify remarks he made on Friday, when he told American forces in Poland: "You’re going to see when you’re there, and some of you have been there, you’re gonna see — you’re gonna see women, young people standing in the middle — in front of a damned tank just saying, ’I’m not leaving, I’m holding my ground.'"

A White House official quickly told The Post that "the president has been clear we are not sending US troops to Ukraine and there is no change in that position."

On Monday, under questioning from Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy, Biden insisted he had been misunderstood.

"I was talking to the troops. We were talking about helping train the troops in — that are — the Ukrainian troops that are in Poland," he said. "That’s what the context [was]. I sat there with those guys for a couple hours. That’s what we talked about."

Of course it matters. Biden said, "You're gonna see when you're there" -- in Ukraine.

So the US President just told US troops that they will soon be fighting at the front, engaged in combat with Russian troops. Combine this with the shithead's "regime change@ comment and the picture is obvious. He and his government are bristling for war with Russia.

Air Force sources say that Israel may soon sign an alliance with Middle East partners, similar to that of NATO
...the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. Originally it was a mutual defense pact directed against an expansionist Soviet Union. In later years it evolved into a mechanism for picking the American pocket while criticizing the cut of the American pants...
    in Europe.

The opportunity for this arose following several normalization agreements between Israel and Arab countries, such as the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain, which are geographically close to Iran.

The Israel Defense Forces view coordination between the countries as a "strategic asset" in defending against aerial threats that it did not previously have, officials say.

Last week, Israeli officials said they believed two drones, which were reportedly launched from Iran
...Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979...
and intercepted by the US-led international coalition in Iraq last month, were aimed at Israel.

Israel has repeatedly warned that Iranian drones are a significant threat to the region — especially as Tehran arms proxies stationed along Israel’s borders.

The Israel Defense Forces have confirmed it intercepted at least four Iranian drones heading for Israel or the West Bank and Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamaswith about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
    Strip in recent years.

Biden's $5.8T budget proposal would be laughable — if it weren't so alarming
[NYPOST] You might find some laughs in the $5.8 trillion budget President Joe The Big Guy Biden
    ...46th president of the U.S. S You're a lyin' dog-faced pony soldier...
unveiled Monday — if it weren’t so alarming.

Team Biden, for example, brags about its "fiscal responsibility," arguing that a plan to spend a jaw-dropping 32% more than just four years ago cuts the deficit in half. Umm, only because the prez spent so much in 2021.

That includes the Democrats’ $2 trillion COVID "stimulus package" when the economy needed no stimulus, and so fueled today’s rampant inflation. Plus the $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill, though not the $5 trillion the prez wanted for the "Build Back Better" bill (which he still hopes to pass).

Fact is, this budget still leaves a whopping $1.3 trillion in red ink, which will only further fuel inflation.

Biden’s supposed deficit-reduction also relies on crushing new taxes — raising corporate rates from 21% to 28%, for example. Plus a bid to set a minimum 20% tax on households worth more than $100 million that would hit income and unrealized gains on stocks and other assets. It’s likely unconstitutional, probably unworkable — and won’t pass, since at least two Democratic senators voiced opposition the last time the idea came up.

Another knee-slapper: Biden touts his plan’s new outlays for national defense and law enforcement. Yet his national-security spending, including outlays for the Pentagon, would rise by just 4.5% — less than inflation. And while he’d pump $32 billion more into what he calls crime-fighting, much of it is for stuff like "community violence intervention" that does little to help our cities.

Simply put, what the USA collected in Revenue vs. Spent for the last 4 years:

FY 2021 $3.86 trillion collected vs. $6.8 trillion spent.

FY 2020 $3.71 trillion collected vs. $4.79 trillion spent.

FY 2019 $3.46 trillion collected vs. $4.4 trillion spent.

FY 2018 $3.33 trillion collected vs. $4.109 trillion spent.

And the LSD's want to spend $5.8 Trillion with official estimates saying the US will collect about $3.9 Trillion in actual revenues?

So are they adding another $2+/- Trillion to the National Debt of $30.35+ Trillion

According to the National Debt link that I listed above in my comment.

We are now at 125.59% in Debt to GDP Revenue.
We as of a few seconds ago spending $6.528 Trillion with $4.112 Trillion in Federal Tax Rev.

Plus we have pumped $368+ Trillion into the CCP economy (gov) more than they have purchased from us. We as US taxpayers have actually financed the CCP rise to power with all of our NAFTA related purchases in the last 20 years.

Kadyrov promoted by Putin, visits Mariupol
[NYPOST] This Chechen devil wears Prada — and has reportedly been promoted to lieutenant general in the Russian military amid his efforts to help strongman Vladimir Putin
...President-for-Life of Russia. He gets along well with other presidents for life. He is credited with bringing political stability and re-establishing something like the rule of law, which occasionally results in somebody dropping dead from poisoning by polonium or other interesting substance. Under Putin, a new group of business magnates controlling significant swathes of Russia's economy has emerged, all of whom have close personal ties to him. The old bunch, without close personal ties to Putin, are in jail or in exile or dead from poisoning by polonium or other interesting substances...
    ’s invasion of Ukraine.

Chechen Republic leader Ramzan Kadyrov, 45, a notorious warlord and Russian army member accused of multiple human rights
...which are usually entirely different from personal liberty...
abuses, was elevated in rank by the Kremlin and traveled to the besieged Ukrainian city of Mariupol to boost troops’ morale, according to the Times of London, which cited Russian state media.

"Friends, the city of Mariupol daily receives liberators represented by the Russian armed forces. Today, I decided to pay an unexpected visit there together with my dear nephews," Kadyrov said Monday on Telegram, where he cited a group of Chechen officials with him, the Washington Examiner reported.

"At the moment, most of the city is under the control of the Russian armed forces," added Kadyrov, who recently taunted Elon Musk over the Tesla founder’s tongue-in-cheek suggestion to engage in "single combat" with Putin.

Shortly after Russia launched its invasion of Ukraine last month, Kadyrov delivered a speech in which he mocked Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and demanded that the leader beg for Putin’s forgiveness, the outlet reported.

It reportedly emerged later that Kadyrov had worn a pair of $1,500 Prada boots while delivering his address.

Massacre at cockfight in Mexico leaves 20 dead
Follow up to this story of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel raid from a few days ago.
[THEGUARDIAN] Mexican authorities have confirmed that 20 people were killed when a group of button men stormed a cockfight, in a small town in the western state of Michoacán.

Officials and witnesses described a choreographed massacre in which assailants in military uniforms arrived just after 10.30pm on Sunday night and opened fire with assault rifles at the crowds of primarily middle-aged men.

Two small trucks, one of them branded with the logo for Sabritas, a potato chip company, were used to block the highway leading to the cockfighting arena.

Video filmed by witnesses nearby captured the sound of machine gun fire, which could be heard several miles away.

Photos leaked to social media showed the aftermath of the massacre, with barriers and chairs knocked over, and bodies scattered inside and outside the building.

Mexican police told local media they found 19 bodies — 16 men and three women. Another victim died en route to the hospital. More than 100 shells from 7.62 caliber rifles littered the ground.

The police also seized 15 cars that were on the scene.

Mexican army and national guard troops were deployed on Monday morning to capture the assailants, but it remained unclear which of the region’s many organized crime groups they belonged to.

Cockfighting, while illegal in many areas, remains a popular pastime in parts of Mexico, though the fights between roosters are usually held clandestinely.

Las Tinajas is a tiny pueblo of about 10 streets, close to Michoacán’s eastern borders with two other states, Guanajuato and Estado de México.

The response, attributed to Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed, also mentioned the measures being taken by the government to mitigate this trend.

According to the response placed before the National Assembly on Monday, the National Intelligence Coordination Committee (NICC) has been institutionalised to integrate all federal and provincial intelligence grids for effective and timely countermeasures. Effective border management and fencing along the western border would also stem this tide, the response added.

"Persistent intelligence-based operations are being undertaken to neutralise terror organizations," the response stated, adding that operational capabilities of the counterterrorism apparatus were being enhanced.

The response also recalled recent government initiatives to engage disgruntle Baloch rustics for reconciliation, including special socio-economic development packages for mitigating murderous Moslem threats in Balochistan and KP, and addressing the most marginalised segment of society through the "Ehsaas Programme" along with engaging the youth in constructive activities.

Raad Says Rivals Want to Win Elections to 'Normalize with Israel'
All the kewl kids are normalizing with Israel, after all. In fact, many of them are meeting with Israel about Hezbollah paymaster Iran right now.
[An Nahar] The head of Hizbullah
...Party of God, a Leb militia inspired, founded, funded and directed by Iran. Hizbullah refers to itself as The Resistance and purports to defend Leb against Israel, with whom it has started and lost one disastrous war to date, though it did claim victory...
’s parliamentary bloc, MP Mohammed Raad, claimed Tuesday that political rivals want to win the parliamentary majority "in order to secure laws that would allow them to normalize relations with the Israeli enemy."

"All parties want to keep us away from the parliamentary action arena in order to implement their agendas," Raad added, at a political rally in the southern town of Yohmor.

As for the issue of offshore gas exploration, the MP said: "We have international proposals for gas exploration that are in our interest and for which we wouldn’t pay a cost, but the Americans are refusing, because they want to bring a company that would impose its conditions."

And accusing Washington of "blackmailing us with the Israeli enemy," Raad emphasized that "the Israelis cannot threaten us with anything."

    "Leb
...an Iranian colony situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel. The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers...
has a resistance that owns drones and precision missiles. Let the Israeli dare come near," the Hizbullah politician added.

group in a crackdown sparked by recent deadly attacks, authorities said Tuesday.

Hours before the raid, Prime Minister Naftali Bennett said the recent assaults inside Israel, which killed six people, marked a "new situation" that required stepped-up security measures.

Law enforcement officials said 31 homes and sites were searched overnight in northern Israel, an area that was home to the button men who killed two coppers and maimed four more people in the city of Hadera over the weekend.

The Islamic State group claimed Sunday's attack, as well as a stabbing rampage in southern Israel last Tuesday in which four people were killed. Police shot and killed the two button men, and the stabber was shot and killed by a passerby, police said.

Israeli leaders condemned the killings and pointed to the timing. Both attacks came ahead of the Moslem holy month of Ramadan and Sunday's killings came on the eve of a high-profile meeting between the foreign ministers of four Arab nations and the United States in the Israeli Negev. All four Arab nations — Egypt, Morocco, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates — along with the United States, condemned the killings.

Ramadan is expected to begin on Saturday. Last year, festivities between Israeli police and Moslem protesters during the holy month boiled over into an 11-day war between Israel and Hamas, the braying voice of Islamic Resistance®,, the Islamic Death Eater group that rules Gazoo

Attacks by IS inside Israel are rare.

The group operates mainly in Iraq and Syria, where it has recently stepped up attacks against security forces. It no longer controls any territory but operates through sleeper cells. IS has claimed attacks against Israeli troops in the past and has branches in Afghanistan and other countries.

#1  This is how it works. IS works on the gig principle. You have islamic angst and wanna let loose, you go ahead and do it. If you're successful the IS claims it and you're suddenly a great emir. of course you're dead or in jail but the glory is yours and IS gets the points.

They don't really have the capacity for much except communications online and some payments. Outsourcing the action to willing recruits and guys already trained by any Islamist org. The only activity IS does is attract and convince the wolves to give them credit. I'm sure there's a business term for it I don't remember right now.

#2  It’s just marketing, Dron. ISIS has the reputation of being the nastiest jihadis around, so lots of those not already accredited elsewhere claim the label so they can look kewl, too.

They used to claim to be Al Qaeda, even though technically they were unaffiliated, because those were the videos they used to self-radicalize. Which is different than those who actually were seduced by the silver-tongued professional groomer calling over the internet from the home base in Raqqa/Yemen/Somalia/wherever the latest hotspot might be.

    Arabia
Biden Administration's Intention To Remove IRGC From Terror List Is An Unprecedented Act Of Supporting Terror That Threatens Global Security
[MEMRI.ORG] In response to reports that the Biden administration is considering removing Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) from the list of Foreign Terrorist Organizations as part of its efforts to renew the 2015 nuclear agreement with Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
(the JCPOA), articles in the Saudi press attacked the administration, calling this an absurd move and a crime that will threaten global security. The writers claimed that the Biden administration, like the B.O. regime before it, is eager to sign a nuclear agreement with Iran in order to extricate it from its plight, even if this comes at the expense of America's Arab allies. The IRGC. they argued, which controls Iran, is the spearhead of regional and global terror, and also operates other organizations, like the Lebanese Hizbullah
...Party of God, a Leb militia inspired, founded, funded and directed by Iran. Hizbullah refers to itself as The Resistance and purports to defend Leb against Israel, with whom it has started and lost one disastrous war to date, though it did claim victory...

...a Zaidi Shia insurgent group operating in Yemen. They have also been referred to as the Believing Youth. Hussein Badreddin al-Houthi is said to be the spiritual leader of the group and most of the military leaders are his relatives. The legitimate Yemeni government has accused the them of having ties to the Iranian government. Honest they did. The group has managed to gain control over all of Saada Governorate and parts of Amran, Al Jawf and Hajjah Governorates. Its slogan is God is Great, Death to America™, Death to Israel, a curse on the Jews They like shooting off... ummm... missiles that they would have us believe they make at home in their basements. On the plus side, they did murder Ali Abdullah Saleh, which was the only way the country was ever going to be rid of him...

Five killed in Bnei Brak shooting
[JPost] Five people were killed in at least two locations in Bnei Brak. 11 Israelis have been killed in the past week, making it the bloodiest in recent memory.

The shooting was first reported around 8:00 p.m. on HaShnaim Street. One person was found killed in a car and two other people were shot dead on a nearby sidewalk. A video later circulating on social media showed a man yelling in Arabic and shooting at random people with an assault rifle on a residential street.

Another person was found dead on Herzl Street, perpendicular to HaShnaim Street. A fifth victim, a police officer, was evacuated to the Rabin Medical Center-Beilinson Campus in critical condition and died from his wounds soon after.

The shooter was later shot dead by a police officer who arrived at the scene on a motorcycle. The officer, 32-year-old Arab Christian Amir Khouri, was evacuated to Rabin Medical Center-Beilinson Campus in critical condition and died from his wounds soon after, making him the fifth victim.

The shooting in Bnai Brak was the latest attack in a new wave of terrorism, marked by the stabbing of four Israelis in Beersheba last week and the shooting of two Border Policemen in Hadera on Sunday night.

The shooter was identified as Dia Hamarsha, 27, from the village of Ya'bad in the northern West Bank near Jenin. He was jailed for half a year in 2015 for illegal arms dealing and affiliation with a terrorist group, and had worked illegally at a building site in Bnei Brak.

Another person was arrested at the scene and investigated on suspicion of assisting the shooter, and a third person was arrested later further east on Jabotinsky Street.

Bystanders repeatedly disrupted reporters on air with chants of "Death to the Arabs" and calls against Bennett and Bar Lev. A crowd attempted to overturn a car they suspected of belonging to the terrorist.

Israeli security forces conducted a widespread arrest campaign throughout the West Bank early Wednesday morning in the Balata refugee camp in Nablus, Bethlehem, Kedum, Ramallah, Marda, Ya'bad, and villages south of Bethlehem.

In a rare statement, Palestinian Authority president Mahmoud Abbas condemned the terrorist attack late on Tuesday, Israeli media reported.

"The killing of Israeli and Palestinian civilians will only lead to a deterioration of the situation ahead of Ramadan," the PA head said. "We are trying to obtain some stability."

Police arrest 8 suspects in Bnei Brak who illegally entered Israel; not tied to attack
[IsraelTimes] Police have arrested eight Paleostinians suspected of illegally entering Israel in an apparent arrest spree in Bnei Brak after tonight’s attack, Channel 12 reports. The suspects are not believed to have ties to the shooter and the possibility remains that the assailant acted alone.

Biden's new border rule will only encourage more illegal immigration
[FoxNews] It is evident Biden is intent on allowing the crisis to continue

When it comes to border security, the Biden administration isn’t satisfied with just opening the floodgates -- causing the single largest illegal immigration crisis in our history.

Now Biden is going a step further by seeming to remove the gates entirely.

DHS is set to implement a new rule substantially changing the role of asylum officers of the U.S. Citizens and Immigration Service (USCIS). Instead of simply determining credible fear which allows a claimant to appear before a judge, under the new rule asylum officers will now have the same authority as a judge. Secretary Mayorkas said: "Through this rule, we are building a more functional and sensible asylum system to ensure that individuals who are eligible will receive protection more swiftly, while those who are not eligible will be rapidly removed."

While on the surface this might seem like a good idea for border security, it is not. In fact, and if statistics hold true, it will do the exact opposite. It will make the problem worse – much worse. It is a Trojan Horse.

In the asylum process there are two equally important components, USCIS and immigration judges.

USCIS is responsible for the intake and processing of asylum claims as well as making an initial determination as to the credibility of a person’s fear about returning to their country of origin. The judiciary reviews all pertinent evidence, hears the case by allowing the claimant to prove the claim, and makes a final determination based upon the law.

By removing immigration judges, the Administration is putting complete authority in the hands of a single department, DHS, with no review by the Department of Justice.

    Really bad idea.

Clashes in Syrian camp housing IS families kill at least 3, one jacket wallah tied up
[An Nahar] Clashes between U.S.-backed Syrian Kurdish fighters and members of the Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
group killed at least three people inside a restive camp in northeastern Syria that houses IS families, local Kurdish authorities and an opposition war monitor said Tuesday. The festivities broke out late Monday night at al-Hol in Syria's province of Hassakeh, when Kurdish fighters exchanged fire with an IS sleeper cell, according to Shixmus Ehmed, head of the Kurdish-led administration's department for refugees and displaced. He spoke to The News Agency that Dare Not be Named via voice messages Tuesday.

The fighting involved pistols, automatic rifles and rocket propelled grenades, he said, adding that the situation remains tense. The sprawling al-Hol camp has for years held tens of thousands of women and kiddies — mostly wives, widows and children of IS members.

The Kurdish police force, known as Asayish, said its members were attacked and fired back, killing an IS member and wounding others. It said police were careful during the festivities because IS fighters had hidden themselves among civilians. The police did not give casualty figures among civilians.

Syrian Kurdish fighters have intensified their inspections at al-Hol in recent weeks, following a late January attack by IS on a prison in the lovely provincial capital of Hassakeh, where some 3,000 murderous Moslems and juveniles are held.

That attack led to 10 days of fighting between the U.S.-backed fighters and IS murderous Moslems that left nearly 500 dead before the situation was brought under control. It was the biggest attack by IS since the fall of the group's so-called Islamic "caliphate" in 2019, and stoked fears it may be staging a comeback.

Following the Sunday night festivities, the Kurdish fighters surrounded the area to prevent any IS button men from escaping, Ehmed said, without giving a breakdown for the casualties.

The Britannia-based Syrian Observatory for Human rights, an opposition war monitor, said a woman and a child were killed as well as an IS fighter. The Observatory added that four women and six children were maimed.

The Kurdish fighters imposed a curfew inside the camp, the Observatory also said, adding that the fighting was concentrated in areas housing family members of Iraqi and Syrian IS fighters.

Some 50,000 Syrians and Iraqis are located in al-Hol. Nearly 20,000 of them are children while the rest are mostly women.

A nearby separate and heavily guarded section of the camp known as the "annex" is where about 2,000 women from 57 other countries are held, with about 8,000 children. The women in the annex are considered to be the most die-hard IS supporters.

In February, women at al-Hol tried to kidnap their Kurdish guards, leading to a shooting that left one child dead and several people maimed.

IS leader Abu Ibrahim al-Hashimi al-Qurayshi was killed days after the January prison attack. U.S. officials said he went kaboom! along with members of his family as American forces raided his hideout in the northwestern Syrian town of Atmeh, near the border with The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the occupiers of Greek Asia Minor...
    , on Feb. 3.

The Islamic State group has named Abu al-Hassan al-Hashimi al-Qurayshi as its new leader.

The Internal Security Forces of North and East Syria (Asayish) announced, on Tuesday, a member of the Islamic State Organization (ISIS) sleeper cell was killed and others were wounded during clashes erupted in Hawl camp.

An Asayish patrol was targeted, yesterday, with medium and light weapons while touring inside the camp, Asayish said in a statement.

The statement indicated that the clashes between the Asayish patrol and ISIS cell killed one ISIS member and wounded others, without specifying the number.

The security forces reinforced their deployment in all sectors of the camp and the surrounding area to prevent the ISIS agents from escaping and to be able of arresting them.

The Hawl Camp witnessed a state of calm following clashes between Asayish and ISIS sleeper cells inside the camp, a security source told North Press, on Tuesday.

Late yesterday, a security source told North Press that the Hawl Camp had witnessed a security alert following a rebellion by ISIS sleeper cells inside the camp.

The fourth and fifth sectors of the camp witnessed a crossfire between the Asayish and ISIS sleeper cells who used small arms in their attack.

A non-governmental organization (NGO) worker told North Press, on Tuesday, that all NGOs suspended their activities within the camp as a result of the security situation in the overcrowded camp.

In early March, a high-ranking security source told North Press that they had received intelligence information that ISIS was preparing to take full control of the Hawl Camp.
    Rudaw adds:
The security forces in northeast Syria (Rojava) arrested a suspect allegedly planning a suicide kaboom in the notorious al-Hol camp, a conflict monitor reported on Monday.

The forces arrested "a person attempting to blow themselves up" in the camp, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said. The conflict monitor did not disclose the name, age or gender of the suspect.

Making Bacon ☺ Under SCOTUS Review
[SCOTUSblog] The Supreme Court on Monday issued orders from the justices’ private conference last week, adding three new cases to next term’s docket. The new cases involve a challenge to an animal-welfare law in California, a death-penalty issue in Arizona, and a copyright dispute over an Andy Warhol work.

The justices also turned down a request from Texas to weigh in on the private nondelegation doctrine, a principle that bars Congress from delegating its legislative powers to other entities – but with three justices indicating that they would like to address the issue in a future case.

The justices granted review in National Pork Producers Council v. Ross, a case arising from a challenge to a California law that makes the sale of pork in California contingent on compliance with conditions that virtually no existing commercial farms meet – specifically, that the pig from which the pork derives was born to a sow who was housed in a 24-square-foot space and could turn around freely without touching any barriers.

Russian commander kills himself after most of unit's tanks dismantled, Ukraine claims
[NYPOST] A Russian commander killed himself after finding all but one of his unit’s tanks were completely stripped of crucial parts, according to Ukraine’s military.

The Land Forces of Ukraine said that invading forces have suffered such heavy losses that their units have been forced to get new military equipment from long-term storage at an airport just 21 miles from the border.

"The condition of this equipment is mostly extremely unsatisfactory, which makes its full use impossible," the Ukrainian force said on Telegram.

Russian 4th Tank Division "found out that out of 10 ’canned’ tanks, only one is in a more or less operational condition. The rest are completely dismantled. Some of them don’t even have engines!" the Ukrainian forces claimed.

"According to available information, the commander of the 13th Tank Regiment of the Russian 4th Tank Division of the Russian Federation shot himself," the message said.

Ukraine’s Defense Ministry shared the same report, quipping that "the number 13 of the regiment" had indeed proven to be unlucky.

It said the apparent suicide was part of the "consequences of the liberation of Trostyanets in the Sumy region by the Ukrainian military and the defeat of the Kantemirov tank division."

Lt. Gen. Serhiy Kisel, the commander of another unit, the Russian 1st Tank Army, was also "removed from office" because of "huge losses and the failure of the Russian invasion of Ukraine," the ministry claimed.

"It was impossible for the Russian leadership to turn a blind eye to poor command of the troops," the ministry said.

Ukraine’s military claimed Tuesday that more than 17,000 Russian troops have been killed — and nearly 600 tanks and 1,710 other armored vehicles destroyed.

Ukrainian mom 'repeatedly raped' by drunken Russian troops as son sobbed nearby
[NYPOST] A Ukrainian woman has said she was repeatedly raped at gunpoint for hours by drunken Russian troops who shot her husband dead — and as her terrified 4-year-old son sobbed nearby.Using the pseudonym Natalya, the 33-year-old mom told the Times of London that troops stormed her rural home in the suburbs of the capital, Kyiv, on March 9 — even though she had a white sheet on her gate "to show there is just a family here and no one wants any harm."

Natalya — whose rape Ukraine’s prosecutor-general Iryna Venediktova had announced was the subject of an official investigation — said they were forced to leave their home with their hands raised after invading soldiers first rubbed out their dog.

She said the unit’s commander, who introduced himself as Mikhail Romanov, seemed drunk — and deliberately crashed her car so that she would not be able to flee.

A perfectly believable event. It was also a plot point in a recent TV series, "Billions" IIRC.

Ukraine awards medal to sailor who told Russian ship 'Go f—k yourself'
[NYPOST] The Ukrainian sailor who told a Russian warship to "go f—k yourself" as he helped try to defend Snake Island was awarded a government medal in a video posted by Ukraine on Tuesday.

Hero seaman Roman Hrybov received the award "For Merits to Cherkasy Region" from Regional Gov. Ihor Taburets.

Hrybov was one of a handful of sailors manning the defenses of Snake Island in the Black Sea during the early hours of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine last month.

When Russia’s military craft the Valisy Bykov ordered Hrybov and his comrades to surrender, the brave sailor reportedly replied by radio, "Russian warship, go f—k yourself."

The reply prompted the Valisy Bykov to bombard the island.

Hrybov and the other Snake Island defenders were initially declared dead, until it became clear they’d been captured by Russian forces. His retort became a rallying cry in the early days of the Ukrainian resistance.

The Valisy Bykov was reportedly destroyed two weeks later by Ukrainian forces defending Odessa.

The captured Ukrainian sailors were freed last week in a prisoner swap, and Hrybov’s award ceremony was held soon after.

In an interview with Ukrainian outlet Today, Hrybov’s mother said her son had never bowed to anyone.

"By the way, I have never in my life heard my son swear at me," Tatiana Hrybov added.

#2  I’m sure that the slogan will be taught to Ukrainian school children in perpetuity. Across the Ukrainian diaspora of on-line kindergartners, they are probably busy with crayons coming up with a suitable commemorative flag design. Maybe we can get some Disney execs to judge their artwork.
