Clashes between Israeli police and Palestinian protesters broke out on Friday
Eleven Palestinians were rushed to hospital, in moderate and serious condition
Palestinians began hurling stones towards the Western Wall, considered the holiest site where Jews can pray, with Israeli forces dispersing the crowd
The Palestinian worshipers have been outraged by repeated visits by Israeli Jews to the Temple Mount, the third-holiest site in Islam and the holiest in Judaism “We’re the penultimate conquerers of Jerusalem. How dare the original owners and ultimate conquerers claim the same rights of conquest we are accustomed to! Allahu Snackbar, yahud!”
Violence has sparked fears of an escalation in clashes echoing the 11-day war
[Popular Mechanics] Scientists believe there could be an "anti-universe" somewhere out there that looks like the mirror image of our own universe, reciprocating almost everything we do. If this theory holds true, it could explain the presence of dark matter.
First, some background: the "Big Bang" is a collective term that includes a variety of theories studied by cosmologists, the scientists who try to rewind the clock as close to the very beginning of the universe as possible. Most agree that matter exploded forth, but there are different opinions on, for example, whether the temperature was extremely hot or absolute-zero cold at that initial moment.
There are also disagreements about what may have happened prior to the bang itself. Could it be that what we call the Big Bang was the inflection point of an even bigger bounce in progress? Think of the point when you bounce on the trampoline and your feet almost touch the ground beneath—then imagine only seeing the subsequent bounce upward; it’s meaningless without the first, downward half of the bounce!

DETROIT (AP) — Thirteen sexual assault victims of Larry Nassar
....Lebanese-American doctor Lawrence Gerard Nassar will be imprisoned for the rest of his life for s3xually abusing over 265 girls in the U.S. gymnastics program, taking advantage of his access as team athletic trainer and team physician...
are seeking $10 million each from the FBI, claiming a bungled investigation by agents led to more abuse by the sports doctor, lawyers said Thursday.
It’s an effort to make the government responsible for assaults that occurred after July 2015. The Justice Department’s inspector general concluded that the FBI made fundamental errors when it became aware of allegations against Nassar that year.
Nassar was a Michigan State University sports doctor as well as a doctor at USA Gymnastics. He is serving decades in prison for assaulting female athletes, including medal-winning Olympic gymnasts.
"This was not a case involving fake 20 dollar bills or tax cheats," attorney Jamie White said. "These were allegations of a serial rapist who was known to the FBI as the Olympic U.S. doctor with unfettered access to young women." "Pay us me"
Nassar, he added, continued a "reign of terror for 17 unnecessary months."
Indianapolis-based USA Gymnastics told local FBI agents in 2015 that three gymnasts said they were assaulted by Nassar. But the FBI did not open a formal investigation or inform federal or state authorities in Michigan, according to the inspector general’s report.

Question: Did you (US Citizen) have anything to do with the investigation and/or the crime?
Because when you sue the FBI you are suing yourself since it is your tax $$$ they are taking.
Because, I am willing to bet the FBI agents conducting the investigations were likely told by higher ups to back-off for PR, Political Agenda reasons.
So sue those that interfered / halted the investigation, thus violating these women's Civil Rights and placing them further in harms way. Also look into Criminal indictments and breech of Oath Of Office Violations for the Fed's.
If it hasn't already been done, sue the crap out of the Doctor and strip him of all his financial holdings and assets?
[AOL] During a town hall meeting with constituents on Wednesday, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., warned that something like the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot could happen again — and that the insurrection was thwarted only because Democrats controlled the House of Representatives.
"This is no joke. Jan. 6 was a trial run, and a lot of people don’t seem to understand that," Ocasio-Cortez said. "It was a trial run."
The storming of the Capitol by a violent mob of then-President Donald Trump's supporters as Congress was in the process of certifying Joe Biden’s victory left multiple people dead and over 140 officers injured. More than 750 people have been charged by the Justice Department in connection with the riot.
"They’re going to come back," Ocasio-Cortez said. "And if [Republicans] take the House, then they have the votes to not authorize and legitimize the presidential election.
"The only reason it wasn’t worse was because Democrats had the House," she added. "And [Republicans] didn’t have the votes in the House."

[OneIndia] One security personnel has died and 6 others were maimed in an encounter that broke out with gunnies at Sunjwan in Jammu and Kashmir ...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain. After partition, the Paks grabbed half of it and call it Azad (Free) Kashmir. The remainder they refer to as "Indian Occupied Kashmir". They have fought four wars with India over it, the score currently 4-0 in New Delhi's favor. A counter terror operation was launched in Sunjwan area of Jammy on Friday morning.
Mukesh Singh, ADGP, Jammu Zone said that the security forces had cordoned off the area and launched a search operation. The police had received credible information about the presence of two heavily armed terrorists.
The encounter in Sunjwan took place amid heightened security arrangements in Jammu and Kashmir, two days ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's scheduled visit to Samba district, news agency PTI reported.
Additional Director General of Police of Jammu Mukesh Singh said the encounter started when the police's Special Operations Group and the CRPF launched a joint search operation in the area.
He said one security force personnel was killed and three more suffered injuries in the shootout. "The encounter is going on," he said.
A search operation was launched on a specific information about the presence of at least two heavily-armed terrorists, likely belonging to the Pakistain-based Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) outfit, in a vicinity adjacent to the sprawling Sunjwan military station to carry out a major strike in the city, the officials said.
On February 10 in 2018, three JeM gunnies stormed the Sunjwan Army camp and in the subsequent shootout, seven persons, including six soldiers, were killed. All the three gunnies were also shot full of holes.
On National Panchayati Raj Day on April 24, the prime minister is scheduled to visit Pali village, 17 km from here, to address a gathering.

[Washington Examiner] The heated real estate market that has seen home prices across the country soar to record highs since the start of the pandemic is showing early signs of cooling, according to experts and recent data.
Sales of existing homes nationwide were down 2.7% between February and March, according to the National Association of Realtors. Sales decreased 4.5%, and home showings fell 19% from the same time last year. According to the group's most recent data, pending home sales slipped by 4.1%, too.
"After two years of super-heated market conditions, home sales are retreating back to pre-Covid days," Dr. Lawrence Yun, chief economist at the National Association of Realtors, told the Washington Examiner magazine by email.
Redfin, an online real estate brokerage, reported declines for March as well, finding that the number of home sales had dropped 3.7% since February and 8.1% since last year.
The early signs of a housing market cooldown follow the central bank’s decision last month to increase interest rates for the first time since 2018 to tamp down 40-year inflation highs across the board on goods and services. The Federal Reserve has signaled further interest rate hikes will come in the months ahead.
As a result, mortgage rates have surpassed 5% for the first time in more than a decade, increasing the financial burden of buying a home and pushing some homebuyers to reconsider their plans, experts said.

Trying to buy a place in Texas. Interested in a new house...
Builders have resorted to setting options like color, flooring, siding and buyers can take it or leave it. No 'design centres'.
Builders have a waiting list of people waiting for a particular type of house.
Builders up their prices often. One said that they raise their prices after every 2-3 sales. Other than that prices go up every 2 weeks.
Builders don't contract a house until the build reaches a certain point (currently, I hear, when the electrical meter is attached) and even then not until they are _sure_ they can meet the schedule with the supply issues. As well as lender requirements.
Its Crazy.

[Breitbart] The Biden administration is trying to blame Russian President Vladimir Putin for the country’s economic woes, but it is President Biden who is responsible for inflation and may plunge America into a recession, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) said on Thursday.
Speaking at the Destin Harbor Boardwalk, where he announced the extension of the Sunshine State’s red snapper season, DeSantis provided a reality check to the Biden administration, which refuses to take responsibility for menacing economic issues — such as rampant inflation — plaguing the country during Biden’s presidency.
"If you look what he did when he came in, decided to print trillions and trillions of dollars, and the result of that has been the worst inflation that we’ve seen in this country in four decades," DeSantis said, emphasizing the toll it is placing on Americans.
"It’s killing people all across the board to have to pay so much for gasoline, have to pay so much for bills, have to pay so much for food ... and they say it’s 8.5 percent, but if you look at the things that matter, it’s gone up way more than that," he said of inflation, as the prices of key goods have gone up well over 8.5 percent.

[AlAhram] EgyptAir carried 680 Egyptian Coptic pilgrims on Thursday evening to visit the holy sites in Jerusalem, after pilgrimage trips had been suspended for two years due to the pandemic, sources at EgyptAir said.
The Coptic pilgrims boarded two Boeing 777 planes, each with a capacity of more than 350 passengers.
EgyptAir will continue to operate its flights from Cairo Airport to Tel Aviv, which started on 17 April, to transport about 3,000 Coptic pilgrims until 24 April (Coptic Easter), according to a statement by the sources on Thursday.
The pilgrimage trip includes visits to several holy places, namely: Bethlehem, Jerusalem, Mount Zion, Via Dolorosa, Jericho, Monastery of Temptation, the Dead Sea and the Mount of Olives.
The trip will cost pilgrims between $990-1150.
Pilgrims must take a PCR test 72 hours before traveling, provided that they have not been vaccinated in six months. Upon arrival at the Israeli airport, pilgrims will be required to take another PCR test.
This time of year, many Copts wish to travel to the Holy Land, and Jerusalem in particular. However, women are made to be loved, not understood... a papal decree issued in 1979 by the late Pope Shenouda III prohibits them from travelling there.
The decree was issued to protest to the Israeli occupation of Paleostine.
Since the Camp David Accords signed between Egypt and Israel in 1978 there have been no official travel restrictions between the two countries.
However, women are made to be loved, not understood... many Coptic Egyptians have defied the decree, choosing to make the pilgrimage.
In early October, a plane branded with the logo of Egypt’s national carrier landed in Israel for the first time. The flight was described as "historic" by the Israel Airport Authority.
Earlier this week, the first direct flight between the Israeli capital of Tel Aviv and Egypt’s Red Sea resort city of Sharm El-Sheikh kicked off.
In mid-March, Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett’s office announced that Egypt and Israel agreed to expand direct flights between the two countries, and that a direct flight route between Tel Aviv and Sharm El-Sheikh would begin operating in April during the Jewish holiday of Passover.

(ISIS) members were killed in Salahaddin province on Thursday as a result of a calculated Arclight airstrike ...KABOOM!... that targeted strongholds belonging to the turban group, state media cited a statement from Iraq’s Intelligence Agency.
Iraq’s Federal Intelligence and Investigations Agency announced on Thursday the killing of four ISIS members in Baraa district of Salahaddin’s Eith area, after infiltrating an ISIS platoon that was operating in the region, according to state media.
The bully boyz were killed as a result of an airstrike conducted by Iraqi F-16 fighter aircrafts that targeted ISIS dens in the form of deserted houses in an area far from Eith, the agency said.
The offensive was carried out in a joint-effort between the agency and the targeting cell of the Joint Operations Command.
"The Intelligence Agency continues its preemptive operations to strike the strongholds of terrorist gangs to exact retribution from them and dry up their sources," state media quoted the agency’s statement as saying.
In its propaganda magazine on Thursday, ISIS claimed to have conducted 24 attacks in Iraq from April 7 to April 13, killing and injuring 31 people.

Hatice Cengiz, Khashoggi's Ottoman Turkish fiancé, had appealed the court’s decision to hand Saudi Arabia a case involving dozens of suspects linked to his murder.
Ankara’s 14th Administrative Court rejected the appeal, reported Bianet media outlet, noting that another appeal filed about Khashoggi’s transfer case in Istanbul is yet to be decided on.
The 59-year-old journalist was killed inside the Saudi consulate in Istanbul on October 2, 2018, in a gruesome murder that stroked the world. Khashoggi walked into the consulate building and never walked out, his body has not yet been found.

So it is OK to censor, delete or ban commentary when a Social MEDIA Company supports a different Political Agenda or Party?
Also, by taking sides the Social MEDIA companies are no longer protected by the 1st either, as they are politically aligned,by publishing and controlling commentary to meet their agenda.

The military officials told SNA Radio that the special forces conducted a series of security operations against the holy warrior group in several villages in the Mudug region on Wednesday.
"The Danab forces launched operations against al-Shabaab in several villages including Qararow, Kalaxiran, Goryale, Dhumale, Caad, Gabdhale and Waable, among others, in the Mudug region," the military radio reported.
The government forces have intensified security operations against the al-Qaeda allied terror group to liberate regions still under the control of the group.
[AlAhram] The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...the decaying remnant of the Ottoman Empire... 's main opposition leader said Thursday that his power supply had been cut at home after he stopped paying electricity bills in protest at sharp utility bill hikes. That was effective. And predictable. Kemal Kilicdaroglu of the secular Republican People's Party (CHP) has seized on Turkey's social and economic turmoil to try and mount a serious challenge to veteran President His Enormity, Sultan Recep Tayyip Erdogan the First ...Turkey's version of Mohammed Morsi but they voted him back in so they deserve him. It's a sin, a shame, and a felony to insult the president of Turkey. In Anatolia did Recep Bey a stately Presidential Palace decree, that has 1100 rooms. That's 968 more than there are in the White House, 400 more than in Versailles, and 325 more than Buckingham Palace, so you know who's really most important... in elections due by June 2023.
The 73-year-old former civil servant announced in February that he would stop paying "inflated" bills that had shot up by at least half for most households as a result of inflation and a sharp currency depreciation.
Economists link Turkey's social problems to Erdogan's unconventional economic views.
The Ottoman Turkish leader has pushed the central bank to sharply cut interest rates in order to bring down soaring consumer prices -- the exact opposite of what policymakers usually do in similar situations.
Turkey's official annual inflation reading has soared to more than 60 percent as a result.
Some of those increases are linked to a lira collapse that has made imports such as oil and gas much more expensive.
Kilicdaroglu announced on Twitter on Thursday that he now had no lights on at home.
"I just got news from my wife -- they cut off our electricity today," Kilicdaroglu said in a video message recorded from his well-lit office.
"My actions are not a call to civil disobedience," he added. "My actions are meant to represent the voice of families and children of a country that has been left in the dark."
Erdogan and his Islamic-rooted party have accused Kilicdaroglu of trying to stir up street protests and social upheaval by refusing to pay his bills.
Next year's general election is turning into one of the most serious challenges yet to Erdogan's dominant 20-year rule. The 68-year-old leader has seen his once overwhelming support implode in the past year.
Russia's assault on Ukraine has shifted some of the focus away from Turkey's economic problems and onto Erdogan's efforts to try and mediate an end to the brutal conflict.
Turkey's chilly relations with Washington have also improved as a result.
But opinion polls -- while not always trustworthy in Turkey -- still show Erdogan trailing most potential presidential challengers.
[JustTheNews] new complaint to the Georgia State Election Board alleges that more than 300,000 ballots were unreliably recorded on unverified early voting poll closing tapes in Fulton County, Georgia in the 2020 election.
"Fulton County's Advance Voting poll closing tapes are a fraudulent, un-certified, unsigned, and un-checked false representation of over 311,000 ballots that no court could legally accept," the complaint alleges.
The December 2020 recount in Georgia determined that President Joe Biden won by just 11,779 votes over former President Donald Trump.

Yours is certainly one opinion, Voldemort Groluling4088. And if you are indeed correct, the investigation will embarrass itself mightily by finding nothing, which will shut up those Trumpsters nicely. Let’s together loudly encourage them to waste their time and destroy their cause, hmm?

BTW: What was the OFFICIAL outcome of the GBI / Fulton Co. Investigation of the 5,000 Illegally printed pre-voted absentee ballots, just needing a name applied?
Stacy Abram's campaign, it seems, had GA absentee ballots professionally printed.
These phony Absentee Ballots were found in a rental car at the Atlanta Airport, that was returned by a Stacy Abrams Campaign Worker returning home to NY.
Why are we still waiting on GA-GBI/Atlanta PD to FULLY release the findings.

They can find all the irregularities they want but it is (and always was) impossible to prove fraud actually changed the election. It was however, possible for Congress to refuse to certify the election because of the irregularities, but of course asking them to do that is a 'coup' attempt.
Exposing the fraud, though, has been and would continue to be a win.
Slightly off topic, there has been some talk about Title 42, especially from the greatest politician in history, successor and surpasser of Cicero Obama, Monsenior Brandon de Tapioca, and of keeping it intact. I find it interesting this consideration comes on the heels of Latinos really, really not liking the government's current tack and the leftist embrace of destroying their culture, linguistic and religious.

You should have to give just as much ID to vote as you do to buy a gun.
Driver's license is all the ID you need for that. But then there's a background check. I have no problem with those either. Could be a problem for illegal border-crossers who are issued DLs by lefty state gummints, though.

And for all the imaginary people living in post office boxes and dead people, which is the point. And someplaces now demand a matching thumbprint to buy a gun, I don't mind that if we can apply it to voting.
But voter fraud is treason and should be punished by death. I don't care who does it, what party they belong to, or how 'important' they are. If you can do the fraud, you can splatter the wall.

Because it's all about her you see. Nothing she says here or writes about in the future will in any way, assist the efforts of the intelligence community today or in any future collection challenges.
Did I mention it was all about her and not about the people or country she was sworn to protect ?

Commentary by Russian military blogger Andrey Chervonets
The Russian president ordered not to risk the lives of Russian soldiers and officers in vain.
Azovstal will be blocked so that the “fly does not fly” and the militants remaining on the territory of the industrial zone will be asked to lay down their arms.
Siege is also an effective method of fighting. And one of the oldest. And by the way, the cancellation of the "frontal" assault on Azovstal is not at all the cancellation of air, missile and artillery strikes on Azovstal.
The dung workers are now eating their last horseradish without salt in the cellars of Azovstal. And stick your nose out of these cellars are not able to. The leadership of "Azov" - Prokopenko, Palamar, as well as Western instructors, it is desirable for us to take them alive. These are very interesting interlocutors for our investigating authorities.
At Azovstal, a silence regime is declared daily from 14:00 to 16:00, all hostilities are completely stopped and humanitarian corridors are opened for the exit of civilians, who allegedly may be on the territory of the plant. But somehow no one uses this mode. If none of the civilians leaves the territory during this time, then either they are not there, or they are held hostage.
Mariupol itself, with the exception of part of the plant's territory, has been taken under full control. Via Russia military journalist Boris Rozhin. Here is the text of the meeting between Russian Federation president Vladimir Putin and his defense minister, General Sergey Shoigu, where the news of the siege of Azovstal was announced. All in English.

[RT] Israel has hit two targets, including a Hamas, the well-beloved offspring of the Moslem Brotherhood, weapons factory in the Gazoo ...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamaswith about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response... strip, in an apparent retaliation for an attack on the Israeli town of Sderot from the Paleostinian enclave.
On Thursday, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) said one rocket was launched from Gaza the previous night.
"In response, fighter jets attacked an underground facility producing rocket engine components. This attack will cause significant damage to the rocket production process in the Gaza Strip," the forces said in a statement.
Attempts by the Hamas-controlled enclave to take down the planes have failed, according to an IDF front man, but prompted Israel to carry out a second strike, this time targeting "a military compound used by the Hamas terrorist organization."
During the second raid, the gunshots triggered the Israeli Iron Dome air defense system, with the malfunction currently being investigated, the IDF said.
The Times of Israel, citing a medics’ statement, reported that three people had received treatment for debris-related injuries following a strike from Gaza.
Hamas responded to last night’s events by saying that it would "increase the persistence" of the Paleostinians and their commitment "to continue the struggle."
The fire exchange has apparently marked a further escalation of tensions between Israel and Gaza. In a similar episode on Tuesday, the IDF struck several targets in the Gaza strip, claiming the move was in retaliation for the rocket fired at Israel from the Paleostinian enclave — the first one in almost four months.
The incidents follow several days of violent mostly peacefulfestivities at the Temple Mount complex (as referred to by the Jews) or the al-Aqsa compound (as referred by the Paleostinians), and a series of terrorist attacks in Israel in recent weeks. The compound is in east Jerusalem, which has been occupied by Israel since 1967, with the Jewish state responsible for security there.
Temple Mount is considered the holiest site in Judaism, while the al-Aqsa Mosque in the southern part of the complex is the third holiest site in Islam.

[KavkazUzel] The head of Kabardino-Balkaria, Kazbek Kokov, ordered to increase the anti-terrorist protection of tourist, industrial and transport facilities in the region.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that members of cells of international terrorist organizations were preparing terrorist attacks in educational institutions in Ingushetia, Kabardino-Balkaria and Stavropol, the National Anti-Terrorism Committee reported on February 8.
At social, tourist, industrial, transport facilities, as well as facilities of the fuel and industrial complex of Kabardino-Balkaria, additional anti-terrorist security measures are being introduced, head of the republic Kazbek Kokov said today in his Telegram channel.
According to Kokov, the responsibility of officials for the implementation of the decisions of the anti-terrorist commission to ensure the security of such facilities will be strengthened.
The "Caucasian Knot" keeps statistics on the victims of the armed conflict in the North Caucasus using its own materials and information from open sources. In recent years, no terrorist attacks and explosions have been recorded in the republic.
In the first quarter of this year, there were no reports of casualties in Kabardino-Balkaria. In 2021, in Kabardino-Balkaria, during a special operation, five people were killed, whom the National Anti-Terrorism Committee called militants.
On July 22, 2020, the FSB reported on a terrorist attack that had been prevented in Kabardino-Balkaria and reported that four members of a terrorist organization were killed while trying to detain people in the Chegemsky district.
On March 24, 2020, the security forces, having received information about the preparation of a terrorist attack, tried to detain three suspects near the village of Kremenchug-Konstantinovskoye in the Baksansky district. All three were killed during the skirmish.

Plumes of smoke seen at the huge Dmitrievsky Chemical Plant outside Moscow
Cause of latest fire unknown, just hours after weapons facility blaze killed seven
Scientists seen jumping out of windows at research hub in Tver, also near capital
Defence Ministry site is where Iskander missiles were built before use in Ukraine.
A blaze broke out at Russia's largest chemical plant just hours after a huge fire at a military facility killed seven people.
Huge plumes of smoke were seen enveloping the Dmitrievsky Chemical Plant late this afternoon.
The cause of the fire remains unknown. Almost 150 plant workers were reportedly evacuated.
The facility in Kineshma, east of Moscow produces more industrial solvents than any other in Russia. Solvents. Like those used in preventative maintenance? Well, losing that won't have much impact, I guess.
Benzene, carbon tetrachloride, acetone, etc. — not healthy for children and other living things. To be fair, chemical plants are prone to catching fire, as they’re generally making highly flammable things under pressure. So this is not necessarily enemy action.
It is less than 1,000km from the border with Ukraine.
Anti-Putin racecar driver Igor Sushko tweeted footage of the latest fire and wrote: 'This is the largest Russian manufacturer of chemical solvents. Located 250 miles EAST of Moscow.
'We are beginning to see a pattern develop.'
Possibly. Or it could just be bad luck. Twice. It’s the third time that it’s enemy action, right? Though even lacking outside help, this kind of thing will not help Russia recover from the secondary effects of Putin’s little war in the Ukraine.
The Dmitrievsky blaze follows a deadly fire around lunchtime at a top secret Ministry of Defence research facility in Tver, west of the Russian capital.
Seven were killed and 25 were injured after the mysterious fire caused the roof to fall in.
Four military scientists were forced to jump out of windows from the burning institute in Tver which develops new space and weapons systems.
The cause was not clear but there were reports of 'poisonous bluish-black smoke' at the plant which produces Iskander missiles.
It was unclear if there were chemical releases before the fire or as a result of the raging inferno.
Iskander missiles have a range of 300 miles and are designed to confound missile defences by flying on a low trajectory. I suppose they spent everything on offensive systems like Iskander, as if no one would ever shoot back and they'd never need a CIWS to shoot down missiles or drones with. That would explain a lot of recent headlines.

Cost of damage to Ukraine's infrastructure rises to $60 billion, World Bank says. The damage to Ukraine's infrastructure has now hit $60 billion and will continue to rise as the war goes on, World Bank President David Malpass told a conference.
US, EU ON THE HOOK FOR $1 TRILLION+
That figure, which Malpass described as an early estimate of "narrow" damage costs, did not include the losses to Ukraine's economy. Analysts have estimated that the country's economy has been cut in half. Estimates are that rebuilding Ukraine will require approximately $5 for every dollar of lost GDP.
"Of course the war is still ongoing, so those costs are rising," Malpass said. The US hopes to prolong the war for years, thereby lifting the cost of rebuilding Ukraine into the trillion-dollar range.
PAY UP, SUCKERS
Zelenskyy told World Bank and IMF leaders on Thursday via video that Ukraine needs $7 billion monthly to prevent its economy from collapsing under the Russian invasion.
And why would that be? Just Putin-propaganda. The damages should all be laid at that sick Commie's feet

Makes perfect sense. I'm already paying for the welfare, healthcare and God-knows whatelse for every illegal alien that invdes my homeland because my government isn't mine, its the globalists who just control its checkbook to enrich themselves, allies and China. SO of course I need to also pay for the salaries of a foreign government, its rebuilding and the cost of arming it in a war on another continent. Because that pesky Constitution and Oath, laws and the idea of sovereignty are all so white supremacist!

Within the first year of the Iraq clusterfuck $12 billion in cash was flown into Iraq in 21 separate flights in late 2003-May 2004, all of which disappeared.
An inspector general's report indicated that "'Severe inefficiencies and poor management' by the Coalition Provisional Authority would leave no guarantee that the money was properly used", said Stuart W. Bowen, Jr., director of the Office of the Special Inspector General for Iraq Reconstruction. Bowen said the missing money may represent "the largest theft of funds in national history."

Well, if you're trying to tell me that we shouldn't be giving thirty billion a month to Putin, I'd say I was convinced by your examples, but to tell you the truth I was already convinced.
Heck, I know you're not supposed to talk about it, it's what you're here to distract away from.
But the plain fact of the matter is, our administration and the other administrations of the West give Putin about a billion a day to obtain stuff we already have but won't get for ourselves because a) they're environmental/religious fanatics and b) they're at war with the working class. Putin's enabled by an extremist religion we really shouldn't have any more time for.

FFS, this is the THIRD TIME that we're being played. We spent fucking trillions on Iraq and Afghanistan. TRILLIONS. Completely wasted.
By now, anyone who doesn't recognize what an obvious scam this is needs to STFU.
Same deal as with those other black holes: Keep this war going as long as possible. Keep sending billions to the MIC. Keep getting robbed by local kleptocrats posing as Saviors of Democracy. Keep the billions in graft flowing to our corrupt warmongers.
Fuck this shit. Twice fooled and trillions wasted... no more.

Sergey Protosenya, 55, is believed to have carried out the murder-suicide
He was found hanged in the courtyard of his holiday home in Spain, and his wife Natalia and their 18-year-old daughter were found murdered inside
Police are reportedly working to the assumption he killed them before taking his own life. However, reports suggest the evidence is not conclusive
It comes after another Russian businessman, Vladislav Avayev, 51, was found dead in Moscow with his wife Yelena, 47, and their younger daughter Maria
Both men, found just one day apart, had separate links to Russian gas companies
Protosenya, who had a fortune of over £330 million, was Deputy Chairman on the Board of Directors for natural gas company Novatek for seven years
Avayev was previously a vice president at Gazprombank - a bank that was created to work for Russian gas giant Gazprom - and had also been a Kremlin official

I cannot recall a genuine case of murder suicide where the perp HACKED to death his family before doing himself. This is a signature killing by some very nasty people over a lot of stolen money and betrayal of profound trust.
[Breitbart] Police in Sterling Heights, Michigan, arrested two illegal immigrants following a vehicle pursuit. The officers found more than 20,000 fentanyl pills allegedly transported for a Mexican cartel.
Sterling Heights police attempted to stop a BMW on April 8. The driver refused to yield, Fox2 Michigan reported this week.
The chase ended when the driver pulled into a dead-end road and fled on foot. Officers arrested him not far from the vehicle.
During a search of the BMW, the officers found more than 20,000 fentanyl pills disguised as OxyContin. In addition, the officers found more than 500 grams of powdered fentanyl.
In addition to the driver, the officers also arrested a female passenger. Both allegedly told the officers they were Mexican nationals in the U.S. illegally and were working for an unidentified drug cartel, WDIV Detroit reported.
Officials estimated the street value of the drugs to be in excess of $350,000. They said there was enough fentanyl to kill “thousands of Michiganders.”
The CDC reports that fentanyl is now the leading cause of death between the ages of 18 and 45, according to Families Against Fentanyl.
In Texas, Governor Greg Abbott initiated Operation Lone Star to counter the influx of the deadly substance amid border policy shifts by the Biden Administration.
“When you look at the fact that we’ve apprehended enough fentanyl to kill every man, woman, and child in Texas, and the fact that fentanyl is the leading cause of death in the United States for people between the age of 18 and 45,” Abbott said in an exclusive interview with Breitbart in March. “In Texas, more than 1,300 people lost their lives last year because of fentanyl,” the governor added.
“The Texas Military Department said that from March 2021 through earlier this month, its troops near the border confiscated more than 1,200 pounds (540 kilograms) of fentanyl,” the governor said in an AP interview reported by Breitbart. “By comparison, federal authorities reported confiscating about 11,000 pounds (4,990 kilograms) in 2021 — still a fraction of what entered the country.”
[Breitbart] Rio Grande Valley Sector Border Patrol agents and Texas Department of Public Safety troopers found a group of migrants hidden in a cattle trailer. Human smugglers packed the migrants in an un-ventilated compartment under bales of hay.
Texas DPS troopers stopped a Dodge pickup truck towing a cattle trailer filled with bales of hay, according to information obtained from U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Troopers believed the trailer was equipped with a false compartment and contacted Border Patrol agents for assistance.
Border Patrol agents arrived and a K-9 alerted to the possible presence of drug or human cargo inside the trailer. A search of the trailer confirmed the presence of the hidden compartment and the presence of 13 migrants trapped inside the un-ventilated space.
The driver was allegedly bound for the Falfurrias Border Patrol checkpoint on U.S. Highway 281 in Brooks County before being stopped. “This smuggling tactic placed the migrants’ lives at further risk due to the excessive heat in the compartment and approximately one-hour travel time to the checkpoint,” officials stated.
The photos tweeted by Rio Grande Valley Sector Chief Patrol Agent Brian Hastings show the grants inside the cramped space that forced them to sit with their knees to their chest and their heads bowed over and down.
“If not for the actions of authorities, the driver would have attempted smuggling the group through a border patrol checkpoint, more than an hr drive away,” Chief Hastings stated.
DPS took custody of the driver and two other passengers who are expected to be charged with alien smuggling, officials report. The migrants, identified as citizens of Central American nations, were taken by Border Patrol agents.
[REDSTATE] On Wednesday, the Florida Senate passed a bill to abolish the “Reedy Creek Improvement District." This "improvement district" was created to benefit the Disney corporation in 1967. Today, the Florida House of Representatives passed the bill and sent it to Governor Ron DeSantis ...Republican governor of Florida, stone in the shoe of the Dems and their ilk, maybe one-day president... for signature.
The bill passed by the legislature on Thursday would eliminate the Reedy Creek Improvement District, as the Disney government is known, as well as a handful of other similar districts by June 2023. The measure does allow for the districts to be reestablished, leaving an avenue to renegotiate its future. It now moves to DeSantis’ office to be signed into law.

It was never a "tax avoidance scam". It was a deal to support economic development in an area that was swamps and orange groves before Walt came looking.
Disney shareholders should be suing the board and executives for the stunts that cost the company the arrangement.

Build the Wall, implement mandatory E-Verify, permit cross referencing the Social Security Database with IRS filings to identify duplicate and fraudulent entries, reinstate enforcement of Remain in Mexico Asylum Process, require ID verification of all remittances sent overseas via the US banking system, cease the family feeding programs at schools, ID verify use of EBT cards to issued recipients, and poof. The problem is solved and the vast extent of the illegal alien population and its impact on our nation will be exposed. Honest government would do this, liberal or conservative. The Chief of al-Hashd al-Shaabi (PMF) in the northeastern bassin of the governorate, Ahmed al-Tamimi, told Shafaq News agency that the PMF, the operations commands, and the police thwarted three terrorist attacks in 72 hours, through several measures including adding security checkpoints on the Diyala and Saladin borders.

Garry Reid, the DoD's Director for Defense Intelligence, was recently dismissed from his duties after an Inspector General investigation into his misconduct
Complaints against Reid included claims he was having an affair with a subordinate, sexually harassed staff, and interfered with a secret UFO program
Former staffer Luis 'Lue' Elizondo claims in an exclusive interview that Reid was allegedly ousted for a spat over UFOs - and will be replaced by his alleged mistress, Tara Jones
Jones is named only as Employee 1 in an April 2020 IG report which found evidence of an 'inappropriate relationship and favoritism' but not a sexual affair
But Elizondo claims it wasn't until the IG investigated his complaints of Reid's alleged vendetta and smear campaign against him that Reid was dismissed
Last May Elizondo filed a separate 64-page complaint to the Department of Defense's Inspector General alleging a coordinated effort to discredit him
Elizondo shot to fame in 2017 after helping leak extraordinary videos from of tic tac-shaped UFOs moving with incredible speed and agility near aircraft carriers

Economist David Malpass, head of the World Bank, notes that &60 billion doesn't cover the cost of replacing lost $GDP.
Ukraine's version of Hamid Karzai demands we pay him $7 billion a month just to grease the wheels.
The typical cost to rebuild is around 5x the lost GDP. Keeping the war going one more year will destroy $90 billion in Ukrainian GDP, so one year will cost us $450 billion to rebuild.
Let's be clear: "rebuild" means pour another $1 trillion of our money into ANOTHER overseas sinkhole brought to you by our liberal imperialist fools.
The THIRD time in a row that we've been suckered. Are we having fun yet?

[RT] CNN ...the organization formerly known as the Cable News Network. Now who knows what it might stand for... ’s parent company Warner Bros. Discovery has officially pulled the plug on the premium streaming service CNN+ after a mere three weeks. Thursday’s announcement came as a "total and utter shock" to employees of the service, which has reportedly already spent $300 million to hire top corporate media talent, launch and advertise, with another $700 million in investments planned.
Variety magazine broke the story on Thursday morning, saying the decision came from Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav. By noon, CNN executives confirmed it to the staff at their offices in a New York City high-rise, saying the service would shut down on April 30.
The announcement was met with "total and utter shock" that "morphed into despair," an anonymous staffer told CNN’s Brian Stelter and Oliver Darcy. Staffers were "freaking out" at first, then "turned to sadness" before breaking out whiskey and wine "to commiserate."
Officially, Zaslav wants to unite all of the company’s brands under one streaming service. CNN+ was commissioned by former WarnerMedia CEO Jason Kilar, just weeks before Discovery acquired its parent company AT&T earlier this year.
CNN had planned to sink $1 billion into the venture, hiring executives, producers and on-air talent from other networks, and planning for CNN+ to break even after four years. The service attracted as many as 150,000 subscribers in the first couple weeks, according to some reports — though others said a mere 10,000 people tuned in on a daily basis.

[ColonelCassad] A natural barrier in Ukraine is the Dnieper River, which divides the country into 2 parts. The main hostilities (with the exception of the Nikolaev-Kherson front) take place on the territory of eastern Ukraine (left-bank).
Accordingly, the most active grouping of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is located on the left bank, and the transport infrastructure (bridges) laid across the Dnieper River is used to supply it.
To date, the Dnieper River is crossed by 25 bridges:
▪️ 9 road bridges (2 of which are also used as a metro bridge);
▪️ 6 bridges are affiliated with hydroelectric power plants (some bridges have railway tracks);
▪️ 4 railway bridges;
▪️ 7 combined bridges (road and rail);
▪️ 1 pedestrian bridge.
Of these, only three are controlled by the RF Armed Forces.
Transport routes passing through the hydroelectric power station must be disabled by strikes on crossings above the locks where necessary (a bridge departs from the Dnieper hydroelectric power station, which simply needs to be destroyed).
Although the Podolsko-Voskresensky bridge in Kyiv has not been completed yet, the photographs show that its technical condition makes it possible to transport equipment and personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine across it.
A separate question about the pedestrian bridge in Kyiv: it is definitely impossible to transport equipment through it, only personnel. You can consider the expediency of preserving it for the needs of the inhabitants of Kyiv. Or not think and also destroy.
It is necessary to take the most responsible approach to protecting the bridges that are controlled by the RF Armed Forces: the destruction of these bridges will actually cut off supplies to our group of troops on the right bank of the Dnieper and create threats to the capture of Kherson. And it takes time to build pontoon crossings.
▪️Sovmeschennye bridges:
➖Amursky bridge - 48.485541, 35.025935
➖Vantovy bridge - 47.842485, 35.085464
➖Darnitsky bridge - 50.415142, 30.583059
➖Kaydaksky bridge - 48.497858, 34.965484
➖Kryukovskiy bridge — 49.051567, 33.424058
➖Preobrazhensky Bridge - 47.845719, 35.084378 (hit on April 21, technical condition unknown. This is a big nut for the Russians to crack, so I am not so certain they can do it. Destroying bridges only inconveniences a modern army. Both sides have plenty of bridging elements at their disposal.
A good strategy in my personal opinion would have been for the Russian air assault brigades to capture all the river crossings. But, alas, not enough forces, and too many crossings.
#3
Question for the more tactically experienced Rantburgers. Would it be better to destroy a bridge:
(a) Before invaders could use it at all
(b) When half a column had crossed, cutting invaders in two
(c) After most of a column had crossed, cutting them off from logistics.
I would have thought (b) but the recent Russian columns stalling out had me wondering if having a columns worth of vehicles in the way of bridge repair might be a good thing.

[SHAFAQ] A senior officer in the Iranian Ministry of Oil expressed his country's readiness to help Iraq develop the "technical experience" required to "nationalize the oil industry".
Iran's official news agency, IRNA, quoted Taher Saeedi as saying, "per our recent agreement, 400 to 500 Iraqi students will be admitted to faculties relevant to oil studies."
The member of the Iraqi-Iranian committee said that channeling the knowledge and technical expertise is a priority for this committee.
"Oil production and extraction have become exclusive to the foreign companies, especially the US, French, Chinese, and Italian," he said, "Iran ...Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979... has not engaged in the Iraqi oil industry so far."
"Iran enjoys a high level of knowledge in drilling wells and producing oil. We will try to transfer this knowledge to the Iraqi side," he added.

[Breitbart] Border Patrol agents working the border near Eagle Pass, Texas, on Wednesday arrested four military-age Syrian migrants, a source within CBP told Breitbart Texas under the condition of anonymity. The four men attempted to sneak into the U.S. after illegally crossing the border from Coahuila, Mexico.
Human smugglers frequently move what Border Patrol calls Special Interest Aliens, migrants from nations with ties to terrorism, across the border away from large migrant group crossings, officials previously told Breitbart Texas. The large migrant groups serve as a distraction to agents who must use all available resources to process and document their apprehensions. This enables smugglers to move higher-value migrants or drugs across the unpatrolled border areas while agents are occupied.
The source told Breitbart the four Syrian men were not only of military age but are suspected to have military backgrounds.
Since the ensuing border crisis at the beginning of the Biden administration, more than 40 migrants who are listed on the terrorist watch list have been arrested as they attempted to enter the United States, according to a Fox News report. This number includes Border Patrol arrests and encounters at border crossings and other locations with CBP officers.
These numbers do not include migrants who illegally cross the border without being apprehended — what Border Patrol refers to as got-aways. In March alone, more than 62,000 migrants escaped apprehension, the Fox News report adds.
During the month of March, Border Patrol agents apprehended nearly 210,000 migrants, according to the latest Southwest Land Border Encounters Report from CBP, Breitbart reported. This includes nearly 129,000 who entered through the five Texas-based Border Patrol sectors.
At least 16 people were killed in two Afghan cities on Thursday by kabooms that were claimed by the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems.... group (IS).
Since Taliban ...Arabic for students... fighters seized control of Afghanistan last year after ousting the US-backed government, the number of bombings has fallen but the jihadist and Sunni IS has continued with attacks — often against Shiite targets.
Earlier this week, at least six people were killed in twin blasts that hit a boys’ school in a Shiite neighbourhood of Kabul.
On Thursday, 12 worshippers were killed in a blast at a Shiite mosque in the northern city of Mazar-e-Sharif, said Ahmad Zia Zindani, front man for the provincial public health department in Balkh.
He added that 58 people were maimed, including 32 at death's door.
Grisly images posted to social media showed victims of the attack being carried to hospital from Seh Dokan mosque.
"Blood and fear are everywhere," Zindani told AFP, adding "people were screaming" while seeking news of their relatives at the hospital.
"Many residents were also coming to donate blood," he said.
The blast occurred as worshippers were offering midday prayers during the Moslem holy month of Ramadan.
In a statement, IS said "the soldiers of the caliphate managed to get a booby-trapped bag" inside the mosque, detonating it from afar.
In a separate blast on Thursday in the city of Kunduz, at least four people were killed and 18 maimed. Police front man Obaidullah Abedi told AFP that a bicycle bomb went kaboom! near a vehicle carrying mechanics working for the Taliban.
Late on Thursday, IS claimed that attack too but said its fighters set off an bomb on a bus carrying Kunduz airport employees.

Responding to this story from yesterday [SHAFAQ] The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...the occupiers of Greek Asia Minor... on Thursday dismissed what it described as "Iraq’s baseless objections" to Operation Claw Lock, Ankara’s latest cross-border operation against the PKK terrorist group. Baghdad’s charge d’affaires was summoned to the Ottoman Turkish Foreign Ministry and told in clear terms that Turkey is well within its rights to act against a designated terrorist organization that "has been targeting our country from its bases in northern Iraq for nearly 40 years," ministry spokesperson Tanju Bilgic said in a statement.
Turkey launched Operation Claw-Lock this week to target PKK hideouts in the Metina, Zap, and Avasin-Basyan areas.
Iraq, however, raised concerns over the offensive and called on Ankara to withdraw its forces.
Bilgic stressed that Iraqi authorities have "failed to act decisively against the group despite Turkey’s repeated requests."
He said Ankara is determined to "root out the PKK, which has been designated as a terrorist organization by several countries and international organizations and is also a threat to Iraq’s illusory sovereignty and stability."
"Turkey is always ready to cooperate closely with Iraq in the fight against the PKK terrorist organization on the basis of common interests," he added.
"As long as Iraqi authorities do not take solid and effective steps against this threat, Turkey will continue to take all necessary measures for self-defense, a right enshrined in Article 51 of the UN Charter", Bilgic asserted.

Of the 30 companies that comprise the Dow, Disney has seen its stock drop the most on a percentage basis, followed by 3M, which is down 25 percent, and Home Depot, down 23 percent.
Disney shares were down more than 5 percent Wednesday as investors remained skittish on streaming entertainment companies following Netflix’s disastrous first quarter results. Disney+ subscription results recently disappointed Wall Street when the company reported quarterly results in November, causing the stock to tumble.

This is what is meant by the states being "laboratories of federalism." I don't think DeSantis would have done this (and make no mistake, he's the architect here) unless his inside polling was good on it. The left is going, as Gen. Turgidson said "absolutely ape." Count on huge amounts of outside money coming into the FL election this fall. Some was coming anyway but it will be a huge flood now. Again, I don't think DeSantis would have chanced it if the numbers didn't look very good for him. The beauty thing, should he have decided correctly, is that's money sucked out of other dem races elsewhere and money that will remain in Florida either way. Assuming DeSantis wins, that's all wind at his back going forward.
If the voters toss him out, well, where do I sign up for "let it burn?"

[RT] Washington will follow the lead of the European Union ...the successor to the Holy Roman Empire, only without the Hapsburgs and the nifty uniforms and the dancing... and ban all Russian-affiliated ships from docking at US ports, President Joe The Big Guy Biden ...46th president of the U.S. Former Senator-for-Life from Delaware, an example of the kind of top-notch Washington intellect hacked up by the World's Greatest Deliberative Body. The guy who single-handedly lost Afghanistan... announced on Thursday. This applies to all vessels flying the Russian flag, owned, or operated by entities from the country.
"No ship, no ship that sails under the Russian flag, or that is owned or operated by a Russian interest, will be allowed to dock in a US port or access our shores. None," Biden said on Thursday morning at the White House, after meeting with the Ukrainian prime minister.
The EU banned Russian ships from its ports on April 6. Biden said the move intends to "deny Russia the benefits of [the] international economic system that they so enjoyed in the past."
