Six Capitol Police Did Some Bad Things On Jan. 6
[Epoch Times] The U.S. Capitol Police (USCP) confirmed on Sept. 11 that it has recommended "disciplinary action" for six officers over their handling of protesters on U.S. Capitol grounds on Jan. 6, following internal investigations.
Have they all committed 'suicide' yet?
Three officers were identified for "conduct unbecoming," one for failure to comply with directives, one for improper remark, and one for improper dissemination of information, it said.
It's only been eight months; I'm sure they're still investigating!
The wrongdoings aren’t criminal in nature, the department said, adding that a U.S. attorney’s office review concurred it "did not find sufficient evidence that any of the officers committed a crime."
Not surprising. Lt. Byrd didn't commit a crime, shooting unarmed Ashli Babbit.
The USCP had announced in January that it suspended six officers with pay over their actions on Jan. 6, and that more officers were under investigation based on video and other open-source materials showing instances of potential violations of department regulations and policies. It isn’t clear if these same six cases are the ones identified in the update.

One of the officers suspended by USCP was caught on camera taking a selfie with one of the protesters. Another suspended officer was reportedly seen wearing a red "Make America Great Again" hat and was seen directing people around, Ryan said.
Those are crimes of insurrection! Ask the 500 people in capitol jails.
Other videos show police officers standing motionless as groups made their way into the Capitol building. Some of those who entered the building claimed that officers allowed them inside.

According to the Sept. 11 update, the department hasn't been able to identify all officers being investigated.

USCP operations aren't subject to freedom of information laws, given the sensitive nature of their mission to secure the safety of members of Congress, although some members have urged the department to make their reports available to the public given the importance of determining the events of Jan. 6 and the need for transparency to restore confidence in the police department.

Afghanistan
The Taliban tracked down and killed 4 Afghan counterterrorism agents, in one case pulling out all their fingernails, report says
[INSIDER] Elite Taliban death squads have tracked down and killed at least four Afghan counterterrorism agents since August 22, The Sunday Times reported.

The men were members of two units working out of the National Directorate of Security (NDS) and had been trained by British and US forces, the newspaper said.

A brother of one of those killed told The Sunday Times the Taliban came for his brother at their home outside Kabul in August.

"My brother was shot three times in the head and once in the chest and I was shot twice in the left shoulder and arm," the man said, per the newspaper. "I don't know how I survived."

Another of the four men killed had all his fingernails pulled out before he was shot, The Sunday Times said.

A senior manager working at the headquarters of the NDS told The Sunday Times that the Taliban took possession of laptops and paperwork from the headquarters after taking Kabul on August 15.

Capitol Police 'covering up 14,000 hours of video about what really happened'
[WND] Judicial Watch is a government watchdog in Washington that routinely takes government entities to court for failing to supply information to the public that really belongs to the public.

It can't do that with Congress, because Congress has decided the Freedom of Information Act law is one that it doesn't need to follow.

So now Judicial Watch is asking a court for an order for "discovery," a legal process through which evidence can be brought to the light in legal disputes.

The issue is the evidence that the U.S. Capitol Police agency has regarding the turmoil and violence that happened at the Capitol on Jan. 6.

That's the day that President Trump held a morning rally, with tens of thousands of people. After that, thousands went to the Capitol, where Congress was scheduled to vote on the outcome of the 2020 presidential race.

#4  I am no lawyer, but it would appear the knowledge of the existence of such evidence and it's withholding by the gov't should be grounds for appeal of any related 6 Jan convictions. Perhaps that is why the legal process is progressing at such a snails pace. Why rush into an acquittal. Just inconvenience the detained as long as possible.

#4  COMPARING COVID-19 INFECTIONS & DEATHS TO VACCINE NUMBERS

WORLD POPULATION Est.+/- 7.2 Billion
USA POPULATION Est.+/- 333 Million
The USA is about +/- 4.62% of the World population.

September 13, 2021, 10:43 GMT COVID-19 Pandemic Numbers tell us:

As of today despite being having 209,099,300 or 62.2% of the USA population vaccinated, as compared to the 41.8% World Average? The USA continues to see the Highest claimed infection numbers in the World. But a overall lower average infection to death ratio.

OVER THE LAST 7 DAYS:
Worldwide there were 3,711,148 New COVID-19 cases
The USA “claims” 848,908 of those New Cases.
22.87% of all COVID-19 cases in the whole wide world last week.
Wow 4.62% of the worlds population had 22.87% of all reported COVID-19 Infections. Despite a now reported 62.2% Vaccination rate?

Then we are told, Worldwide there were 58,660 New Deaths of which the USA claimed 8,539 of those. Or about 14.55% of all COVID-19 Death worldwide. Another WOW!!! for 4.62% country.

SINCE THE INITIAL SPREAD TO NOW FIGURES
Worldwide
225,455,664 reported infections.
4,643,687 reported deaths
Which works out to about a 3.13% of the worlds population was infected, resulting in a 2.059% Infection to Death Ratio.

USA
41,853,362 reported infections.
677,988 reported deaths.
Which works out to about 12.55% of the USA population was said to have been infected, resulting in a 0.2034 of 1% death rate. Or a 1.61% infection to death ratio.

While it is commonly stated our Senior Citizens account for over whelming percentages of all Covid-19 deaths. The USA, when compared to other nations according to the 2021 World Atlas data, did not make the top 25 for most senior aged populations.

SUMMARY:
So given the Official numbers, it seems US Vaccines aren't doing a great job at prevention as promised. But may play a part in lowering the Infection to Death Rates along with our world acknowledge advanced Medical System.

Pentagon reclaims 6% of the entire internet that was mysteriously handed over to a Florida company on the day Trump left office
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news]
  • Transfer of idle DoD IP addresses took place minutes before Trump left office

  • The Department of Defense reclaimed the large amount of internet from Global Resource Systems LLC, which is headquartered in Plantation, Florida

  • At one point, the company more than quadrupled to 175 million addresses - about 6 percent the size of the entire current internet

Russia’s Cold War-era T-62 tank still in service
By Dylan Malyasov

[DefenceBlog] The Cold War-era T-62 medium tank still is found in the Russian Army arsenal.

The 1960s-era T-62 tank is a Soviet main battle tank that was developed as a further development of the T-55 series. The first prototype of the T-62 was completed in 1959. In 1961 this tank was officially accepted to service with the Soviet Army.

Approximately five years earlier, it was reported that the Russian Ministry of Defense had decided to dispose of all T-62 tanks in service and then replace them with new T-14 and upgraded T-90 models. Main Automotive-Armored Tank Directorate (GABTU) stated that this solution will replenish the state budget – after dismantling the tanks, the parts will be sent to storage in warehouses, from where they will then be exported.

But as of September 2021, it became known that the plans to update the T-62 fleet had changed somewhat and some of the tanks still remain in service in the military formations in the East of the country and some of the tanks are supposed to be transferred to allies such as Syria.

Moreover, 103rd Armored Plant has developed an advanced version of the Soviet-era tank, called the T-62M3.

The JS III was first observed by the West in the Berlin Victory parade in 1945. Iran to Allow New Memory Cards in U.N.'s Nuclear Site Cameras
[IsraelTimes] Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
agreed Sunday to allow international inspectors to install new memory cards into surveillance cameras at its sensitive nuclear sites and to continue filming there, averting a diplomatic showdown this week.

The announcement by Mohammad Eslami of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran after a meeting he held with the director-general of the ineffective International Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Grossi, in Tehran still leaves the watchdog in the same position it has faced since February, however.

Tehran holds all recordings at its sites as negotiations over the U.S. and Iran returning to the 2015 nuclear deal remain stalled in Vienna. Meanwhile,
...back at the alley, Slats grabbed for his rosco...
Iran is now enriching small amounts of uranium to its closest-ever levels to weapons-grade purity as its stockpile continues to grow.

"I am glad to say that today were able to have a very constructive result, which has to do with the continuity of the operation of the agency's equipment here," Grossi said. It "is indispensable for us to provide the necessary guarantee and information to the IAEA and to the world that everything is in order."

Eslami described the negotiations between Iran and the Vienna-based IAEA as "sheerly technical" without any room for politics. He said Grossi would return to Iran soon to talk with officials, without elaborating. Also left unsaid was whether Iran would hand over copies of the older recordings, which Tehran had threatened previously to destroy.

"The memory cards are sealed and kept in Iran according to the routine," Eslami said. "New memory cards will be installed in cameras. That is a routine and natural trend in the agency's monitoring system."

A joint statement released by the IAEA and Iran confirmed the understanding, saying only that "the way and the timing are agreed by the two sides."

The announcement could buy time for Iran ahead of an IAEA board meeting this week in which Western powers had been arguing for Tehran to be censured over its lack of cooperation with international inspectors. Eslami said Iran would take part in that meeting and its negotiations with the IAEA would continue there.

The IAEA told member states in its confidential quarterly report last week that its verification and monitoring activities have been "seriously undermined" since February by Iran's refusal to let inspectors access their monitoring equipment.

The IAEA said certain monitoring and surveillance equipment cannot be left for more than three months without being serviced. It was provided with access this month to four surveillance cameras installed at one site, but one of the cameras had been destroyed and a second had been severely damaged, the agency said.

The KCBC, in a statement, urged the Kerala government to take necessary action against "terrorist movements and drug mafia." "Kerala is facing serious social crises. Some of the important ones are presence of terrorist movements and shocking increase in drug use. Despite warnings by various investigative agencies, no probe was done into backgrounds of these groups, [sic]" the ANI quotes the organization as saying in a statement.

The statement added, "Govt should be prepared to take appropriate action by properly probing concerns of public regarding terrorist movements & drug mafia. It's not an allegation against any community. This is to expose serious challenges facing Kerala community. [sic]"

Kallaranghatt made controversial comments at an event organised by the church at Kuruvilangad. He alleged that non-Moslem women and largely Christian girls are being trapped by holy warriors who brainwash and convert them.

"Two such means are love jihad and narcotic jihad.
Narcotic jihad is a new concept, as opposed to ancient and modern Hashashin.
As jihadis know that it is not easy to destroy people belonging to other religions using weapons in a democratic country like ours, they attempt other such means to achieve their target," Kallarangatt was quoted as saying by the PTI.

He highlighted former DGP Loknath Behera's recent statement where the ex-cop claimed that Kerala had become recruiting ground for terror outfits and a sleeper cell of Death Eater groups exists in the state.

The Catholic bishop then added that the converted people are being sent to terrorist camps in Afghanistan. "Nowadays, Christian girls are largely becoming victims of such traps...We need to recognise that jihadis, with extreme mindset, have laid the trap in schools, colleges, hostels, commercial establishments and other such public places and institutions with an aim to lure the girls at their tender age," he said.

He also spoke about youths being targeted by the same men through drugs.

Now, the KCBC has urged the community leaders to address the issue to maintain social harmony. The statement added, "Prejudice that such revelations are communally motivated isn't good. Instead, community leaders should take over to address such vulnerabilities & maintain social harmony. We don't aim at communal polarization, but at communal harmony and co-operation."

However,
it's easy to be generous with someone else's money...
Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan rejected the Bishop's remarks stating that narcotics has no religion and people holding responsible should not make such remarks which could divide the society.

"Persons holding such respectable positions should be careful while making such a statement. It will create unnecessary rift and animosity. It is a fact that all religions and governments are concerned about increased use of narcotics. It is not proper to put everything into the account of a particular section," he said.

A day after the controversy broke out, the Moslem community took a protest march to his house raising objections over his views and the following day Catholic groups took out a rally extending their support to him.

However,
it's easy to be generous with someone else's money...
the BJP supported Bishop's views and being targeted for speaking "unpleasant truth."

Fugitives begged for ride from Arab town to West Bank, but were denied
[IsraelTimes] Searches now focused on Jezreel Valley and Jenin, with officials said concerned that West Bank raid would complicate efforts to capture them alive, possibly provoke escalation

After breaking out of the maximum-security Gilboa prison earlier this week, the six Paleostinian runaways headed on foot for the nearby Arab town of Na’ura, some 7 kilometers (4.3 miles) from the jail, where they begged several residents to drive them to the city of Jenin in the West Bank, but were refused, Hebrew media reported Sunday.

Citing details leaked from the Shin Bet interrogation of the four escapees who have been recaptured, particularly from notorious terror commander Zakaria Zubeidi, the reports detailed the runaways’ first actions in the first hours after the escape.

53 Egyptian migrants returned to Egypt from Libya: Foreign ministry
[AlAhram] Some 53 Egyptian young men were returned to Cairo on Sunday from Libya after being arrested by Libyan authorities for attempting to illegally migrate to Europa

through the Mediterranean, the Egyptian foreign ministry said in a statement.

According to the ministry, the Egyptian Embassy in Tripoli

and the Egyptian Diplomatic Mission coordinated with Egyptian authorities to facilitate the return of the illegal migrants colonists via a private aircraft.

The head of the Egyptian Diplomatic Mission in Libya, Tamer Mostafa, expressed his appreciation to the Libyan authorities for presenting all the needed facilities and arrangements to return the young men to Egypt, the foreign ministry added.

Despite the Egyptian government’s extensive efforts to prevent trespassing into Libya, the country is still frequently used as a transit point for migrants colonists from Egypt and other nations seeking to reach European shores.

Egypt shares a more than 1,000-kilometre-long border with Libya.

Egypt and Libya agreed in April to resume flights between the two countries’ capitals, as Cairo seeks to restore normality in its relations with the neighbouring country, especially after the election of an executive authority to guide the country until legislative elections are held by the end of this year.

, Jordan and Iraq also hold significant numbers of Syrians

Turkey is working with the UN's refugee agency to repatriate Syrians to their home country, the Ottoman Turkish foreign minister said Sunday.
His comments are at odds with the UNHCR's overall policy towards returning migrants colonists to Syria, a country that it still considers too dangerous to send refugees back to.

``We are now receiving better support from the international community for the safe return and repatriation of refugees,'' Ottoman Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said. ``We are working to repatriate refugees, especially in Syria, especially with the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees.''

A spokesperson for the UNHCR in Turkey did not immediately respond to Cavusoglu's remarks. The agency opposes forced repatriation but has previously negotiated with Turkey over allowing voluntary returns to Syria.

Turkey holds the world's largest refugee population while Lebanon, Jordan and Iraq also hold significant numbers of Syrians.

Cavusoglu was speaking at a ceremony in the southern province of Antalya followed a visit to Turkey days earlier by UNHCR chief Filippo Grandi, during which he met Cavusoglu and Ottoman Turkish President His Enormity, Sultan Recep Tayyip Erdogan the First
...Turkey's version of Mohammed Morsi but they voted him back in so they deserve him. It's a sin, a shame, and a felony to insult the president of Turkey. That's 968 more than there are in the White House, 400 more than in Versailles, and 325 more than Buckingham Palace, so you know who's really most important...
.Grandi thanked Turkey for hosting 3.7 million Syrians and 330,000 other refugees and asylum-seekers, mostly Afghans.

Cavusoglu said the international community must work together to resolve migration.

``It's not right to look at this from a security standpoint,'' he said. ``It's wrong to look at it in a racist and fascist

way. On the other hand, if it is a social problem, it is necessary to evaluate it calmly together and find a solution by producing new policies.''

Afghanistan
Uniformed Police to be Stationed in Kabul, former Afghan border police called back for Kabul airport
[ToloNews] The current Taliban
...mindless ferocity in a turban...
forces who are stationed in Kabul will soon be replaced with police forces of the former government and Taliban forces and all will have uniforms, the Taliban said on Sunday.

Anaamullah Samangani, a member of the Taliban’s cultural commission, told TOLOnews that the current Taliban forces, who do not have uniforms, will be transferred from Kabul to military posts in the provinces.

Samangani, however, did not say how many police and Taliban forces will be deployed in Kabul.

"Police and uniformed forces who have received training and gained skills in their specific fields should soon take charge of maintaining Kabul security and start their jobs. After that, the Mujahideen who are stationed in different police departments and who do not have uniforms will be stationed in police headquarters and army corps (in the provinces)," Samangani said.

A number of Kabul residents, meanwhile, said uniformed forces should be deployed to the city to maintain security and to prevent criminal activity by button men identifying as Taliban.

According to the residents, people are accustomed to uniformed police and will feel more comfortable with them in the city.

The residents also said the new forces should fight criminals and restore order in the city.

"They should have a specific uniform and be well-organized in the city and maintain security so that the people will not worry," said Sheikh Zaman, a Kabul resident.

"We have seen cases where some people identifying themselves as Taliban forces have committed illegal actions in the city," said Abdurrahman, a Kabul resident.

Following the collapse of the former government in mid-August, Afghan police left their posts and the city remained without police. Taliban forces took charge of the city.

Abdul Majid, a Taliban force member, said he was on duty for many years along with other Taliban force members in Takhar province, and following the collapse of the former government he was assigned to maintain security in Kabul’s PD2.

According to Abdul Majid, hundreds of Taliban forces like him who previously were in the provinces are now maintaining security in Kabul.

"Now people are safe from robberies and other insecurity issues, and they should be happy about the security we have provided," said Abdul Majid.

Taliban forces currently stationed in Kabul do not have uniforms and some residents in the past weeks called on the Taliban to provide uniforms for their forces so the people will trust their authority.

Afghan police back to jobs in Kabul International Airport

[KhaamaPress] Taliban
...Arabic for students...
have invited border police of the previous Afghan government to return to their jobs in Kabul International Airport to work alongside them.

On Sunday, September 12 a number of the former border police were seen on their jobs in the airport alongside armed members of the Taliban.

Although the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has invited some civil servants across Afghanistan including those in customs, this is the first time that military officials of the former government are returning to jobs.

Traffic personnel, municipality staff, and school teachers are the only babus government employees who have not been bothered since the Taliban takeover.

Earlier, the ministry of finance had called on the staff of all customs to return to jobs lest they will be considered absent and will not be gotten paid.

In the meantime, officials of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan said that the finance ministry is working to pay the salaries of the staff of some ministries.

People are asking the Taliban to call on the former babus government employees to run their jobs as they were fully familiar with the governance and the digitalized system.

fighters and was beaten along with her family members and a neighbor.

Doctor Fahima Rahmati who is also a civil activist in a video clip said that the Taliban fighters have also taken her mobile phones while their raid on her home on Sunday night, September 11.

Rahmati said that she was neither a former government official nor had a weapon in her home but the Taliban fighters wanted to take with themselves her brothers.

Provincial officials in Kandahar province said that they are not aware of the raid and will investigate the case and bring to justice the culprits.

Fahima Rahmati is a local doctor and is running a charity foundation in Kandhar province and helping poor families.

"Two of my brothers are still missing, I hope the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan will hear my voice, my two brothers, my brother-in-law and two brothers-in-law of my sister are still missing, where are they and with whom are they?" says Fahima in a video clip.
Fahima Rahmati, a civil society activist and the head of a charity in southern Kandahar province, claimed on Sunday that an "armed group related to the Taliban," had entered her house and beat some of her family members last night.

Miss Rahmati, who leads a charity naming Heela, (wish) said she has received death threats and her family has also been threatened.

She added that she has never worked with the government before. “Is this their general amnesty--that the Taliban are coming to my house, and beating my family members? Is governance like this?”

A man also claimed that his wife was recently killed in a Taliban shooting in Kabul. Her husband, Abdul Khaleq said: “Is this in Islam? Can someone, in Islam, kill a woman who is outside her house?”

This comes as the Taliban Head of State, Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund, in an audio message asked the Taliban to not offend the people.

Money transference should only be carried out in local currency: Afghan central bank
Tightening the screws.
[KhaamaPress] The central bank of Afghanistan-De Afghanistan Bank- in a new directive said that those who transfer money to Afghanistan should be conducted in local currency-Afghani- only.

Based on the new directive, if people transfer money in any other currency, the receiver will merely be given the local currency in Afghanistan.

19 Governors, 2 AGs Resist Biden’s Vaccine Mandates
[EpochTimes] More than a dozen governors and two attorneys general late on Sept. 9 issued statements defying the Biden administration, the same old faces in slightly different places, the same old ideas, the same old graft
...the pack of self-imagined masterminds of strategy and intrigue at the service of the Biden Crime Family and a grateful nation...
’s impending vaccine mandates for federal workers and private-sector workers.

President Joe The Big Guy Biden
...46th president of the U.S., who gives the term geriatric a bad name. He blames Afghans for losing Afghanistan....
earlier in the day signed an executive order to require all federal workers to be vaccinated against COVID-19, the disease caused by the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus. There would be no option to opt out via COVID-19 testing. The mandate also applies to government contractors and their employees.

The president later announced he would direct the Department of Labor to create a rule to have companies with over 100 employees mandate vaccinations or weekly testing, a move that affects more than 80 million workers in the private sector.

At least 19 governors and two attorneys general immediately issued statements disagreeing with the administration’s move, with several vowing to defy it.

They include the governors of Arizona, Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Iowa, Missouri, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, and Wyoming. All are Republicans.

They were joined by at least two state attorneys general, both Republicans, as of that night—Sean Reyes from Utah and Todd Rokita from Indiana.

Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson, the chair of the National Governors Association, said in a statement: "I fully support continued efforts to increase vaccination rates across our nation, but the federal government mandates on private businesses are not the right answer.

"I have been consistent in freedom of businesses to require their employees to be vaccinated, and I have opposed the government from saying businesses cannot exercise that freedom. The same principle should protect the private sector from government overreach that requires them to vaccinate all employees."

Multiple Republican governors, including for Arizona, Georgia, and South Dakota, hinted or announced that they would seek legal avenues to resist the mandates.

"The COVID-19 vaccines are safe and effective tools to prevent the disease, but getting the vaccine is and should be a choice," Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey said in a statement. "These mandates are outrageous. They will never stand up in court. We must and will push back."

Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp wrote on Twitter, "I will pursue every legal option available to the state of Georgia to stop this blatantly unlawful overreach by the Biden administration."

South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem wrote on Twitter, "South Dakota will stand up to defend freedom. @JoeBiden see you in court." She later shared another Twitter post saying her legal team is prepared to stand up to the Biden administration’s mandates.

The Biden administration didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.

#2  The legal vultures may indeed be circling.

"I am eagerly awaiting tort lawyers to contact families of dead high risk COVID-19 patients, whose PCP's never even offered them monoclonal antibodies at a time when the infusions might have helped. PCP's were either ignorant of the existence of the treatment (partly their own fault) or prejudiced against mentioning them since they were used to help Trump. Florida has been well ahead of this issue since the FDA first issued EUA's for these treatments in Nov. 2020."

Any COVID treatment used or endorsed by the Orange Man must be roundly rejected.

#3  Strange that treatment doesn’t seem to be an option the swamp wants, yet it’s has been successfully used in Texas and Florida at the state government assisted infusion centers. Same goes for HQC and ivermectin and other modalities that actually save the lives of the infected. If this were so much a public health threat then why is there no “use all the tools we have” approach, including early treatment, being taken with equal vigor to vaccination, which apparently does not prevent the disease and has a waning effect over time? Look at Israel, they drank all the koolaide and they still are being whipped by this, whereas Denmark and Sweden did nearly the opposite and are not having near as many problems.

Hmm…

Home Front: Politix
Unlikely Heroes: AOC and Bernie Sanders Could Sink Multi-Trillion-Dollar Spending Plans
[FEE] Ironically, it's the most socialist members of Congress who may accidentally prevent our country from going broke.

Here’s what’s going on. Progressive politicians like Speaker of the House Nancy San Fran Nan Pelosi
Congresswoman-for-Life from the San Francisco Bay Area, born into a family of professional politicians. On-again-off-again Speaker of the House. It's not her fault when they lose, but it's her accomplishment when they win. Noted for her heavily botoxed grimace and occasional senior... uhhh... moments...
and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer
...Senator-for-life from New York, renowned for his love of standing in front of cameras and microphones. Schumer has been a professional politician since 1975, when disco was in flower, which is 45.77134 years, or 320.39938 years in dog years. Senate minority leader as of 2017...
are pushing a $1+ trillion infrastructure bill and a $3.5+ trillion "human infrastructure" package that, taken together, amount to one of the biggest expansions of the welfare state in US history. (Even the New Deal pales in inflation-adjusted comparison!)

However,
Caliphornia hasn't yet slid into the ocean, no matter how hard it's tried...
Senator Joe Manchin
...Dem senator-for-life from West Virginia. Manchin is one of the approximately one Dem senators who exhibits more integrity than Jello, often even representing his constituents...
, a moderate Democrat, just came out against the $3.5+ trillion package. He called on his colleagues to "hit the pause button," citing rising government debt and inflation. This could effectively doom the multi-trillion package in a 50-50 Senate. But it doesn’t necessarily doom the $1 trillion infrastructure spending bill, which could pass alone.

That would be bad news for taxpayers, because the infrastructure bill wouldn’t actually "create jobs" as its proponents promise. According to an Ivy League analysis, it would spend all that taxpayer money yet "have a net zero effect on employment, wages, and economic growth over both the medium-term (by 2031) and the long-term (by 2050)." Oh, and the spending plan funnels money toward all sorts of waste and corrupt politician pet projects.

Yet despite all these pitfalls, it still seems, on the surface, that Democrats in Congress should have enough votes to pass the $1 trillion infrastructure bill. But do they?

Ironically, the most progressive politicians in Washington, DC may sabotage the entire spending bonanza. Rep. Alexandria Boom Boom Ocasio-Cortez
Dem Congressgirl from da Bronx in Noo Yawk and leader of the Mean Girl Caucus in Congress. One of the Great Minds of the 21st Century, she is known as much for her innaleck as for her dance moves. She is all in favor of socialism, even though she's fuzzy on the details. She was the inventor of the Green New Deal, though she doesn't talk about it much anymore...
just revealed that many left-wing politicians are prepared to vote against the $1 trillion bill if the multi-trillion package isn’t also passed.

"Nothing would give me more pleasure than to tank a billionaire, dark money, fossil fuel, Exxon lobbyist drafted energy infrastructure bill if they come after our child care and climate priorities," the congresswoman said.

Senator Bernie Sanders
...The only first openly Socialist member of the U.S. Senate. Sanders was Representative-for-Life from Vermont until moving to the Senate for the rest of his life in 2006, assuming the seat vacated by Jim Jeffords. He ran for the 2016 nomination for president, to be cheated out of it by Hillary Clinton, then went back to being an Independent socialist, waiting for 2020 to roll around...
has taken a similar position.

"Rebuilding our crumbling physical infrastructure — roads, bridges, water systems — is important. Rebuilding our crumbling human infrastructure — health care, education, climate change — is more important," he tweeted. "No infrastructure bill without the $3.5 trillion reconciliation bill."

It looks very unlikely, at this point, that Congress will have enough votes to pass the multi-trillion-dollar welfare package. If Ocasio-Cortez, Sanders, and their progressives allies stick to their guns, this means the $1+ trillion wasteful infrastructure bill won’t pass either.

"We are, however, increasingly worried by the growing number of incidents of harassment and intimidation against our national staff," said Deborah Lyons, the U.N. special envoy to Afghanistan, in a Sept. 9 news release.

"We will continue to do everything possible to support our staff and keep them from harm's way," she added. "The U.N. cannot conduct its work—work that is so essential to the Afghan people—if its personnel are subjected to intimidation, fear for their lives, and cannot move freely."

An internal U.N. security document obtained by Rooters on Aug. 25, according to The Epoch Times, described numerous incidents of physical and psychological abuse from five days before the Taliban took power.

There is no indication that any of these individuals will ever return. No camps have been built to hold them. Residents of the valley assume that they will all be killed as part of a "genocidal cleansing."

In the past, the Taliban typically carried out extermination operations of this type in the following manner. They herded the individuals to be killed into empty cargo containers, shot them, and then closed up the containers. The containers were then buried. This was done to avoid creating large-scale mass graves because the Taliban was conscious that these could be detected remotely via satellite and might lead to international sanctions and pressure.

Residents of the Panjshir Valley believe that the current roundup is being done to entirely strip the area of any males with knowledge of the period of American occupation. It is believed by the Taliban that it is necessary to "cleanse" the area of anyone who might be able to organize resistance to the regime in the future.

No assistance is being provided by the United States to the resistance forces still fighting in the Panjshir Valley. No assistance is being provided to individuals trying to escape from the Taliban and leave Afghanistan.

AND’s source in the Panjshir stated his belief that the United States Government wants anyone who is a witness to the ongoing atrocities to die. "They want us all to die here. We can’t talk if we’re dead. If we make it out everyone will know what happened here."

#7  I’m a bit surprised they haven’t gone and done Roman style decimation of the entire province. Seems that would be more their style.

Rome https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Siege_of_Jerusalem_(70_CE)#Destruction_of_Jerusalem tends to get cited a lot for stuff like this, but it wasn't specific to Rome (or the Greeks). Read about the sack of Thebes and Persepolis, where all the men were killed. It's basically self-preservation. If you lose, they might do the same to you. The old principle of reciprocity was last used by Uncle Sam in the Philippine-American War:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philippine%E2%80%93American_War#Atrocities

Note that it ended with American victory. The Taliban's methods aren't pretty, but they've worked since time immemorial. That's why so many extant humans bear DNA from one male line and a completely unrelated female line, geographically speaking. The men were slaughtered, and the women taken as wives.

If we had done what the Taliban are doing today, the movement would have been eliminated inside a year. Millions of mostly Pashtun members of the Taliban and associated supporters would lie in mass graves, but Afghanistan would be at peace, and we wouldn't have wasted $1T and thousands of American lives.

20 years later: How 9/11 changed the Arab world
BLUF: America was stupid and arrogant to invade Afghanistan and Iraq in response to 9/11, and is even more stupid and arrogant to withdraw now, especially as they did it. In both cases it was the innocent Arab Muslims who suffered. The lesson that it’s a bad idea to trigger American intervention seems entirely to have been missed by the editorialist.
[AlAhram] Twenty years after the 11 September attacks, the tragedy is still having wide-ranging geopolitical and humanitarian impacts on the Arab world

Two decades ago at the beginning of the 21st century, the Arab world looked to be at a crossroads and facing huge challenges and perspectives.

The region was moving forward cautiously a decade after the Gulf War to remove Saddam Hussein’s forces from Kuwait and the signing of the historic Paleostinian-Israeli peace agreement.

Terror Networks
Zawahiri, believed dead, appears in video on 9/11 anniversary. Bin Laden doesn't.
[NYPost] Al Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri
...Formerly second in command of al-Qaeda, now the head cheese, occasionally described as the real brains of the outfit. Formerly the Mister Big of Egyptian Islamic Jihad. Bumped off Abdullah Azzam with a car boom in the course of one of their little disputes. Is thought to have composed bin Laden's fatwa entitled World Islamic Front Against Jews and Crusaders. Currently residing in the North Wazoo area assuming he's not dead like Mullah Omar. He lost major face when he ordered the nascent Islamic State to cease and desist and merge with the orthodox al-Qaeda spring, al-Nusra...
appeared in a video released Saturday — the 20th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks — raising questions over his rumored death.

The US-based SITE Intelligence Group, which tracks jihadist groups online, tweeted about the existence of the video, saying Zawahiri made comments about events that occurred after speculation first emerged that he’d died.

"Amid rumours of his death, al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri shown in a new 60-minute video, this time offering some evidence that he is not dead — particularly, reference to events after December when rumors of death surfaced," SITE director Rita Katz tweeted.

The video was entitled "Jerusalem will not be Judaized" and was released by As Sahab Media, the terror group’s propaganda arm.

Zawahiri mentioned a raid on a Russian military base by the al Qaeda-aligned Hurras al-Deen in Syria, which the group said occurred on Jan. 1 — after rumors began circulating of his death in November.

Katz said while Zawahiri did discuss the US’s withdrawal from Afghanistan, she noted he did not talk about the Taliban
...Arabic for students...
’s return to power in the country.

"However,
the way to a man's heart remains through his stomach...
Zawahiri doesn’t mention Taliban’s Afghanistan victory, and his talk of US ’making its exit from Afghanistan’ could have been said early as Feb 2020 upon Doha Agreement," she said, referring to the deal made last year to end the war in Afghanistan. "Thus, he could still be dead, though if so, would have been at some point in or after Jan 2021.".

But she said it’s unknown if Zawahiri is dead or alive because "intelligence agencies have, as of yet, offered no proof or solid assessments that Zawahiri is dead, leaving the question of his current status in the air."

She also said that al Qaeda sees the anniversary of the deadliest terror attack on US soil as a "positive" event.

"Tragic as it is to say, this 9/11 anniversary is a uniquely positive one for al-Qaeda. As one AQ supporter wrote, the US leaving Afghanistan is validation of Bin Laden’s vision and the ’blessed’ 9/11 attacks, and that ’Afghanistan is the beginning,'" she wrote.

Zawahiri became the leader of the terror group after Navy SEALs killed the late Osama bin Laden
...... who is now sometimes referred to as Mister Bones......
in Pakistain in 2011.

Over 30 Shot Friday into Saturday Night Across Mayor Lori Lightfoot's Chicago
[BREITBART] Over 30 people were shot, three of them fatally, Friday into Saturday night across Mayor Lori Lightfoot
...the diminutive and vacuous Heronner da Mare of Chicago. When the corpse count rises she blames the guns, which are banned anyway. A racist to the bone, Lori sez that people with the same skin tone all think alike, not quite getting the implications for a city with a population less than thirty percent black...

ABC 7 / Chicago Sun-Times reports 31 people were shot by 9:52 p.m. Saturday night.

The three fatalities occurred on Saturday, beginning with a 34-year-old woman who was sitting in a vehicle "in the 8700 block of South Lafayette Avenue" around 1: 25 a.m. Someone shot the woman in the head, fatally wounding her.

The second shooting fatality took place just before 5 p.m., when a 24-year-old was shot in the head during a drive-by attack "in the 900 block of East 79th Street."

The 24-year-old was transported to the hospital and pronounced dead.

A 42-year-old woman was shot and killed around 9:40 p.m. while walking towards her vehicle "in the 300 block of East Kensington Avenue."

The woman was shot in the armpit and taken to a hospital where she died.

On September 9, 2021, Breitbart News noted there have been over 3,100 shooting victims in Chicago so far this year. The Sun-Times points out there were over 530 homicides in the city during the same time-frame.

HeyJackass.com observes 27 people shot and killed in Chicago thus far in September alone.

America Bank Regulators to Wells Fargo: Tut-tut
[CNN Business] Federal regulators slapped Wells Fargo with yet another fine for failing to move fast enough to compensate customers who were victims of the bank's "unsafe or unsound" practices.

The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, the banking regulator within the Treasury Department, told the scandal-plagued bank it must pay $250 million because it couldn't -— or wouldn't — make good on its promises.

#1  My mother had three traditional IRA CD's with approximately 5 year terms and about 1% interest rates with three separate banks.
When my brother and I become beneficiaries of her accounts the other two banks kept the same terms and interest rates for the IRA CD's.
Wells Fargo ended the term for the CD and reduced the interest rate to 0.02% (1/50th the original 1% rate, essentially free money!).
At the time I didn't care, because I was looking for 2% interest rate.
By the time I got around to looking for a better interest rate I learned banks will not transfer inherited IRA's (so one is locked in at the original bank).
Interest rates had fallen anyway due to the dirty Feds dropping interest rates so low, hurting those on fixed income.
Now the Biden regime is attacking savers with high inflation on top of near zero interest rates.
Thank God one person named Joe Manchin dared to care about high inflation rate, at least until he caves to the leftist attacks.

Indeed! Manifestations of this "goal" have been around for many years, and it's not just a big city, mega-bank goal. If you do NOT go along with the bank's plan for your business or farm. You may find the sheriff on your porch with seizure orders. Syria-Lebanon-Iran
After months of interruption, water arrives in Syria's Tel Tamr
[NPASYRIA] An official in the Water Department in the town of Tel Tamr, northeast Syria, said on Sunday that water from Alouk Station has finally reached the town after about a month of cutoff by The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the occupiers of Greek Asia Minor...
and Ottoman Turkish-backed armed Syrian opposition factions.
On August 12, Ottoman Turkish forces cut off the water from Alouk Station in the countryside of Sere Kaniye (Ras al-Ain) after escalating their attacks on the areas of Tel Tamr, Abu Rasin, and Ain Issa in northeastern Syria.

Khalid Alo, an administrator in the Tel Tamr Water Department, told North Press that the station returned to work on Saturday evening, after it was supplied with electricity from Derbasiya substation.

"Currently, nine out of 30 wells have been operated, in addition to two out of eight pumps," Alo said, noting that the power level of the pumping is "good."

According to the Water Department, maintenance workshops are still working on repairing the damage within the station due to the major violations by Ottoman Turkish-backed armed factions, in addition to lifting the load on the electricity lines connecting the city of Derbasiya and Alouk Station since the armed factions are providing farmers with electricity in return for bribes.

According to informed sources, the re-operation of Alouk station came under Russian-brokered agreements with Turkey, during which Alouk Station will be supplied with seven megawatts of electricity 24 hours a day, in addition to the Mabrouka station which will be supplied with 15 megawatts 15 hours per day.

Ottoman Turkish forces and their affiliated armed factions have shut down Alouk Station many times since their invasion and occupation of Sere Kaniye in October 2019. The station is the main source of drinking water for nearly one million people in the towns of Tel Tamr, Hasakah, Shaddadi, Hawl, and rural areas and camps affiliated with these towns.

His is not a face familiar..., but members of the rampaging Iranian mob which last week laid siege to the British Embassy in Tehran knew what they were doing when they held aloft a picture of a grey-haired man, with downturned mouth and beard more trimmed than those of his country's religious leaders. Qassem Suleimani, a fanatical Islamic revolutionary, has rapidly become one of the world's top terrorist suspects, as well as a powerful and sinister force within Iran. The crowd of enraged student protesters who chanted "Death to Britain" as they terrorised a beleaguered group of British diplomats, know him as the head of Iran's feared Quds Force, the 15,000-strong paramilitary wing of Iran's Revolutionary Guards - and a primary suspect for organising the assault on the embassy. • Sanchez´s body arrived Sunday morning at Grissom Air Reserve Base near Peru, about 80 miles north of Indianapolis

  • People lined the route to show their respects, many with American flags, and jets flew overhead as the procession approached downtown Logansport

  • He was among the 13 US troops killed in the suicide attack on August 26

Jackson, Wyoming, Explodes In A Sea Of American Flags And 600 Harleys To Honor Fallen Son, Marine LCPL Rylee McCollum
Like the Daily Mail article above, lots of photos and video at the link.
[DailyCaller] Jackson, Wyoming, was stormed Friday afternoon with a sea of red, white and blue and 600 Harleys to honor Marine LCPL Rylee McCollum, one of the 13 Americans killed in a suicide-bomber explosion outside the Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul, Afghanistan.

Hundreds of people lined the streets with American flags during McCollum’s police-escorted funeral process downtown, and held their hands over their hearts as “The Star-Spangled Banner” was played.

Twenty-year-old McCollum lived 45 minutes from Jackson. A newlywed, McCollum was expecting a baby in three weeks before he tragically perished Aug. 26, according to the Casper Star Tribune. He was said to be manning a checkpoint at the airport in Kabul. It was his first deployment.

McCollum “wanted to be a Marine his whole life and carried around his rifle in his diapers and cowboy boots,” said his sister, Roice McCollum, according to The Casper Star Tribune. “He was determined to be in infantry … Rylee wanted to be a history teacher and a wrestling coach when he finished serving his country. He’s a tough, kind, loving kid who made an impact on everyone he met.”

President Joe Biden spoke with the family members of the 13 killed service members after he attended their dignified transfer to Walter Reed National Medical Center on Sept. 2. McCollum’s sister responded to Biden’s speech by saying that the president had shown “a total disregard to the loss of our Marine.”

“You can’t fuck up as bad as he did and say you’re sorry,” she said. “This did not need to happen, and every life is on his hands.”

Libyan Foreign Minister: Arab League Representative No Longer Represents Libya
[LIBYAREVIEW] On Sunday, the Libyan Foreign Ministry said in a statement that Libya’s representative to the Arab League
...an organization of Arabic-speaking states with 22 member countries and four observers. The League tries to achieve Arab consensus on issues, which usually leaves them doing nothing but a bit of grimacing and mustache cursing...
, Saleh Shammakhi no longer represents Libya. They denied that he was assigned the tasks of Head of the vaporous Arab League mission in Madrid.

The statement indicated that Shammakhi was let go of his position last June, after he had completed the specified period of his mandate. It added that the investigation committee formed by the Ministry concluded that Shammakhi committed "abuses" while heading the Libyan mission to the Arab League.

The Ministry also confirmed that it will nominate a person "with competence, experience and professional integrity" to take over the position of Libya’s delegate, before the deadline set by the Arab League.

The statement concluded that the Ministry is determined to implement the diplomatic law and implement the reform plan inside the Ministry.

ISIS attacks government and Iranian-backed forces in Syrian Desert
[NPASYRIA] In two separate attacks on Sunday, ISIS bandidos Lions of Islam killed four members of the Iranian-backed factions and the Syrian government forces in the Syrian Desert, eastern Syria, in addition to wounding at least six others. A source of the Iranian-backed Liwa al-Quds faction, who preferred not to be named, said that a member of the faction was killed and five others were maimed in an attack by ISIS bandidos Lions of Islam with machine guns on the al-Amour military point near the city of Palmyra in the middle of the Syrian Desert.

The source added that the member died, came from the city of Palmyra, while the five maimed were from the villages of the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor.

The maimed, whose injuries vary, were transferred to al-Wa’er Military Hospital in Homs, according to the same source.

Today morning, two button men of the government-backed National Defense Forces (NDF) were killed and two others were maimed in another attack by ISIS bandidos Lions of Islam on a military vehicle of the government forces in the al-Sukhna desert, west of Deir ez-Zor.

According to a source from the NDF, the festivities between their members and the ISIS attackers continued with machine guns for about 30 minutes.

Pregnant woman shot, killed trying to break up fight after her baby shower in Harlem
[ABC7NY] A pregnant woman was killed after she was shot in the head while trying to break up a fight after her baby shower in Harlem Sunday morning.

Police responded to calls of a woman shot at West 128th Street and Frederick Douglass Boulevard around 1:15 a.m.

According to police, officers found 31-year-old Shanice Young with a gunshot wound to the head, unconscious and unresponsive.

Eyewitness News learned the woman was coming home from her baby shower and was bringing gifts from her car into the lobby of the building when the fight broke out between two men.

Neighbors say that one man was the victim's ex-boyfriend and the other was the father of her unborn child. They say Young tried to break up the fight.

According to detectives, at some point a gun went off and struck the 31-year-old in the head.
"We wuz just talking, and this gun just walked up and shot her. We wuz all surprised and shit because we never seen the gun before."
EMS took the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals in Harlem, where she was pronounced dead.
He's dead, Jim!
She. That's a woman.
Really?
Guys don't get pregnant.
Really?
You're a doctor. You should know that.
I'm a liberal. I'm not allowed to know that.
Neighbors say the woman was eight months pregnant and the unborn child did not make it.

The victim also had a 6-year-old daughter and an 11-year-old sister, who she was taking care of because her mother passed away two years ago.

The tragic shooting has caused an uproar in the Harlem community. Meanwhile,
...back at the palazzo, Don Smilzo looked for an avenue of escape. The only window opened a hundred feet above the moat. The nearest of the hired assassins hold a bloody axe. The window was looking better all the time....
a memorial was held outside of the building where the victim lived.

No arrests have been made at this time.

Hochul: National Guard members should qualify as veterans under state law
[NYPOST] Gov. Kathy Hochul proposed legislation today that would let members of the National Guard qualify as veterans under New York state law.

This would give them access to a slew of veterans benefits.

“In my opinion, they never got the recognition they deserved. It’s 20 years overdue, but I’m here to set that straight,” she said at the Javits Center. “I will continue to have your backs because you have ours every single day. And to ensure that you are not just recognized in word, but also in deed.”

Hochul appeared alongside the commander of the New York Army National Guard, Major Gen. Raymond F. Shields, Jr., to hand over a citation honoring National Guard members for their service on and after the Sept. 11 attacks.

Hochul thanked the members of the New York National Guard for deploying to “places like Afghanistan” and described her own visit to “a godforsaken country” where she saw them.

“I had the opportunity as a member of Congress, to see many members of the New York National Guard in battle fatigues in a godforsaken country. It looked like the moonscape when you flew over the mountains and you landed. It was just so colorless and out there,” she said.

Husband of only female NYPD officer killed on 9/11 blasts 'anti-police' pols
[NYPOST] Politicians who’ve called to defund the police have no business hugging heroes on Sept. 11, declared the husband of Moira Smith — the only female NYPD officer killed in the terrorist attack.

James "Jim" Smith, 60,
Most people named James are referred to as "Jim" or "Jimmy," aren't they? I think I'd use quotes for James "Harvey" Smith, or James "Myrtle" Smith, but not for the usual case. Just a quibble on my part.
said he fully expected to see "anti-police" politicians clamoring for photos on the 20th anniversary of the tragedy Saturday "with their arms around heroes and trying to bask in the reflected glory of what my wife and other officers did."
The poor are always with us. So are the venal.
"By September 12, they’ll be back to defunding the police. I’ve no intention of being anywhere near it," he told The US Sun in an interview.
But y'all keep votin' Democrat, now.
James and Moira Smith both worked at the 13th Precinct, and shared daughter Patricia, who was just two-years-old when her mom perished in the collapse of the South Tower, one of 60 NYPD and Port Authority officers killed that day.

"We made a promise to never forget and we’ve clearly forgotten with the way coppers are treated today in this country, both by the public and the politicians," James Smith told The Sun. "It’s disgusting. It didn’t take long to forget."

He added: "We were the first ones to run into the buildings to save people. Moira lost her life to make sure that other people got a chance to go home to their families, even though she didn’t get home to hers.

"They forgot the lessons of 9/11: there are people willing to give their lives to help you," Smith said. "It’s sad state of affairs."

Instead of attending memorial ceremonies, Smith told the outlet he spent the day with Patricia, now 21 and an athletic trainer at Tulane University.

Notorious Somali Human Trafficker Arrested in Libya
[LIBYAREVIEW] Libyan security forces arrested a notorious Somali human trafficker, Hassan Qidi, who is accused of leading an organized gang working on illegal immigration and human trafficking. The Libyan Public Prosecution accused Qidi of deliberately killing dozens of migrants colonists, trafficking their organs, and sexually assaulting a number of immigrant women.

He was also accused of forcibly detaining migrants colonists and subjecting them to cruel treatment to force their families to pay a ransom for their release.

Libyan Attorney General, al-Siddiq al-Sour, said Libya would provide help to the kidnapped women and hear the testimony of the victims.

Notably, the Director-General of Nigeria’s National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons, Basheer Garba Muhammed, said that a farm had been identified in Libya where African migrants colonists were allegedly kept in cages like animals.

He claimed that their vital organs such as eyes, kidneys and lungs would thereafter be harvested and sold in the black market to service the medical needs of Europe, according to the International Centre for Investigative Reporting in Nigeria (ICIR).

Strip on Sunday night, the Israeli military said, adding that the rocket was intercepted. The launch came at a time of heightened tensions following an escape by six Paleostinian snuffies from an Israeli prison last week and lingering hostilities from an 11-day war last May.

Israel over the weekend captured four of the six escaped prisoners and stepped up its search for the two remaining runaways.

In response, Gaza snuffies have fired rockets into Israel for three consecutive nights. Israel typically responds to rocket fire with Arclight airstrike

The tensions have been worsened by ongoing difficulties in reaching a long-term cease-fire between Israel and Hamas following the war in May.

The second rocket came as Israel Defense Forces were attacking Hamas, the well-beloved offspring of the Moslem Brotherhood, targets in the Gaza Strip, in retaliation for the earlier rocket.

The army said it hit four Hamas compounds used for military training, in addition to a weapons workshop and the entrance to an underground terror tunnel.

The IDF said the strikes were in retaliation for the rocket that was fired earlier on Sunday night, marking the third consecutive night of rocket fire in southern Israel.

Following the second rocket, the airforce hit several more Hamas targets, including a heavy machine that tried to down the aircraft, the army said.

Washington University student senator is caught removing 2,977 American flags commemorating victims of 9/11
[Daily Mail, Where America Gets Its News]
Hi! I'm Fadel. I'm a Moslem first and an American way second. Maybe third or fourth... Or fifth
A student senator at Washington University is being accused of snatching up 2,977 American flags to commemorate the lives lost in the 9/11 terror attacks on the 20th anniversary before throwing them in trash bags. Fadel Alkilani, who serves as chairman of the student senate finance committee at the St Louis, Missouri university, is allegedly seen filling blue trash bags with the minature flags used as part of the 9/11: Never Forget Project memorial.

A video posted to Twitter by the Young Americans for Freedom, show as the cameraman confronts Alkilani.

'Who are you?' Alkilani asks the cameraman, identified as Nathaniel Hope, a member of the university's College Republicans.

Hope described Alkilani as showing 'no remorse' before claiming the flags were a 'violation of school rules.'

'I did not violate any university or legal policy. Now go away,' Alkilani told YAF.

Meanwhile,
...back at the shootout, another bullet hole appeared in Butch's hat......
Alkilani allegedly boasted about the act on his Twitter, which has since been set to private.

He claimed the move was done in 'protest against American imperialism and the 900,000 lives lost as a result of post 9/11 war.'

On Instagram, he bemoaned the widespread condemnation he had received online as the story circulated on social media.

'Republicans (are) attacking me in the replies,' Alkilani wrote while sharing a post from Washington University in St. Louis's Instagram account.

In a statement posted on social media, Alkilani said that 'there is currently a massive harassment campaign propagated primarily by Washington University College Republicans, as well as the national Young American's Foundation (YAF)' regarding an incident that occurred around 6am on Saturday, September 11, 2021.'

'There is a large amount of misinformation circulating,' he said before denying he was stealing flags from the campus.

Fox News reports that he had tried to destroy the memorial a night prior on Friday, but was stopped by campus police while doing so, students said.

The news outlet reached out to Alkilani, Washington University and campus police, however there has been no response as of early Sunday morning.

Elsewhere on Saturday, thousands of people gathered in Lower Manhattan for the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

Related: Mr. Alkilani’s LinkedIn page is no longer public, so we can’t learn more about the chairman of the Washington U student senate finance committee that way.

Without drastic changes, Democrats are on track to lose big in 2022
[THEHILL] The marked decline in support for President Joe Biden
...... 46th president of the U.S., father of Hunter. He blames Trump for losing Afghanistan.......
and his administration nationally and in key swing states indicates that the Democratic Party could endure a blowout defeat in the 2022 midterm elections. Moreover, Biden is in a significantly weaker position now than both of his most recent Democratic predecessors — Bill Clinton
...former Democratic president of the U.S. Bill was the second U.S. president to be impeached, the first to deny that oral sex was sex, the first to have difficulty with the definition of the word is...
and Barack Obama
I think when you spread the wealth around, it's good for everybody...
— at this point in their presidencies, which suggests that Democrats could suffer even more substantial losses in 2022 than the party did in 1994 and 2010.

Indeed, voters nationally and in seven key swing states disapprove, rather than approve, of the job Biden is doing by a margin of 7 points or greater, according to a Civiqs survey released last week.

Nationally, 50 percent of voters disapprove of the job Biden is doing as president, while just 42 percent approve.

For reference, at the same point in Obama’s first term, Obama’s net approval rating was 19 points higher than Biden’s is right now. At the time, a majority of voters (52 percent) approved of Obama, while 41 percent disapproved, according to a Gallup survey released on Sept. 13, 2009.

That being said, in the 2010 midterm elections, Democrats lost a net of 64 House seats and Republicans gained six seats in the Senate.

Likewise, on Sept. 12, 1993, Clinton’s approval rating was recorded at 47 percent approve and 42 percent disapprove by a Gallup survey. To put that in context, Clinton’s net approval rating was 13 points higher than Biden’s is at the same point in his presidency.

Yet in the 1994 midterms, Democrats lost a net of 52 House seats and Republicans picked up eight seats in the Senate.

To note, Democrats’ blowout midterm defeats in both 1994 and 2010 can be attributed in large part to their passage of massive spending and tax bills in the years prior.

The Democrats’ 1994 defeat came after they pushed through Congress the then-largest tax increase in history without any Republican support. And in 2010, Democrats lost due in large part to voters’ perception of an ineffective economic stimulus as well as governmental overreach on health care and the economy by the administration and congressional Democrats.

To note, a number of recent polls show that voters have grown increasingly negative on the Biden administration (aka the Wilmington comorra)
...the collection of boodlers, grifters, hangers-on, and self-proclaimed experts affiliated with the Biden Crime Family. Entrusted with an entire nation as the result of a suspicious election, they set about happily implementing stuff they absorbed in college, all of which blew up and splattered the rest of us...
’s handling of major domestic issues, including the economy, COVID-19, immigration at the southern border and the withdrawal of U.S. troops from Afghanistan.

And now, with congressional Democrats having approved a budget blueprint in their $3.5 trillion dollar spending bill — which will bring massive tax increases and will likely increase the debt, deficit and inflation — the electoral backlash against Democrats could be even more substantial than in both 1994 and 2010.

Somali man arrested in stabbing of five people at Italian resort
[THEHILL] Italian authorities arrested a Somalian man in connection with stabbing five people at a resort, Rooters reported.

According to Italian media, the unidentified suspect maimed ticket controllers on a bus, escaped, and maimed two other women including a six-year-old child in the tourist town of Rimini

The suspect, 26, has been living in Europa
...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum...
since 2010 while applying for refugee status in various countries such as Denmark, Sweden, and Germany, according to the ANSA news agency.

In a statement, Italia’s Interior minister Luciana Lamorgese called the reported incident "extremely serious," adding that she would attend a security meeting in Rimini on Monday, according to Rooters.

The incident led to far-right League party leader Matteo Salvini to criticize Lamorgese’s comments, adding that he’s been pressing the foreign minister to adopt stricter immigration policies in the region.
The Times of Israel adds:
Investigators are ruling out terrorism as a motive and hypothesize that the 26-year-old man was under the influence of drugs during the knife attack Saturday night, according to reports on Italia’s state broadcaster RAI.

The man, who apparently didn’t have a bus ticket, slashed the controllers who had asked to see his ticket, leaving the two women maimed, news reports said. When the bus driver opened the door, the attacker fled. As police gave chase, the man allegedly slashed three more persons along his path. They included a 6-year-old boy who was sitting with his mother in a local outdoor market.

The boy was at death's door on Sunday after surgery for his wounds, including on his neck.

Police arrested the man after catching up with him on a side street flanking a hotel.

Olde Tyme Religion
Inside story of Catholic bishop who was seduced by Satan
[NYPOST] When Spanish bishop Xavier Novell confessed to the Catholic Church hierarchy in Rome that he was "madly" in love with a divorced woman, officials told him he was possessed by Satan — and ordered him to undergo an immediate exorcism "to calm his troubled soul."

Novell, 52 and a noted exorcist at his parish of Solsana in Spain’s Catalonia region, flatly refused. After all, he had the devil in common with his younger paramour: an erotic novelist and psychologist he’d met at a demonology workshop.

Novell formally left the Catholic Church last month for "strictly personal reasons." Those reasons were not disclosed until his scandalous relationship with Silvia Caballol, 38, was revealed this week by Religion Digital.

The two met in 2015 at a workshop where they were both studying demonology, which probes the existence of "fallen angels" and evil spirits. The BBC this week referred to her work as "Satanic-tinged."

Caballol, who has a degree in psychology and has dabbled in the study of yoga, sexology, Catholicism and Islam, was conducting research for her racy novels — which have been described as "a journey into obsession, madness and lust, pitting God against Satan." Her publisher calls Caballol a "dynamic and transgressive author [who] turns upside down our ideas of morality and ethics."

Her most recent book, "The Hell of Gabriel’s Lust: The First Cardinal Sin Against Being" tells the story of a psychopathic prisoner who falls for the female prison psychologist treating him. The book jacket copy compares the characters’ relationship to "the battle between God and the Devil."

"As if possessed by the demon of lust, I begin to suck and kiss her neck, her lips, her breasts and her shoulders," Caballol writes in the 2017 novel. She goes on to describe various sex scenes in bodice-ripping detail: "Our bodies were incandescent and excited and our sex was inflamed and palpitating."

Now she is living with a man who once said in an interview: "Why are people so obsessed by sex that if they don’t have it every day they can’t breathe?"

Indeed, Caballol’s heavy-breathing erotica is a long way from Novell’s pious life as one of Spain’s most hardline holy men. But then again, his fundamentalism may have been created as a backlash against his own lust.

"I have fallen in love with a woman for the first time in my life, and I want to do things right," Novell told Religion Digital this week.

That statement wasn’t entirely accurate, however. When Novell was appointed bishop of the rural archdiocese in Catalonia, overseeing 51 priests, in 2010, the handsome prelate confessed that he’d been in love before. Jerusalem Post Smears Black Republican Vernon Jones with Flaming Swastika
[BREITBART] The Jerusalem Post used a stock photograph of a flaming swastika and white youths giving a Nazi salute to accompany an article on Sep. 10 about Republican Vernon Jones, who is running for governor in Georgia and also happens to be black.

(Update: The Post replaced the swastika photograph with a photograph of Jones, following publication of this article.)

The article, by Ron Kampeas of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency wire service, described how a local Atlanta Jewish news outlet was pressured by leftists to drop an op-ed by Jones expressing solidarity with the Jewish community and Israel.

The Atlanta Jewish Times’ supposed reasons for dropping the article were the newspapers’ supposed policy against partisan political articles, and an allegation that Jones had associated himself with white supremacists at a protest against the 2020 election results. The paper’s leadership blamed junior staffers, and the rush of the High Holidays, for the supposed mistake.

Afghanistan: Failure of Operation Amanullah Khan
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
by Stanislav Tarasov

[Regnum] In 1919, Khabibullah Khan was allegedly accidentally killed while hunting in Afghanistan. He ruled the country for 18 years. Then his brother Nasrullah ascended the throne (only one week), who was immediately accused of fratricide. He was sent to prison by his nephew, Amanullah Khan, the third son of Habibullah. A year later, Nasrullah was killed in custody.

Fifth Column
The estate representing the man murdered by the antifa shooter in Portland is suing the city for its hands-off approach to public safety
[PUBLISH.TWITTER]

The estate of Aaron "Jay" Danielson is suing the city government of Portland, along with its progressive district attorney and its mayor, over claims that the city's negligence contributed to the Trump supporter's death at the hands of an admitted Antifa shooter during a pro-Trump rally in downtown Portland last year.

The suit seeks an eye-popping $13 million in damages, all told, of which $10 million are punitive damages, as per the relevant statutes.

According to Oregon Live, the suit filed Friday in federal court includes the mayor and the district attorney, claiming city leadership created an environment where violence and death were likely or perhaps even probable. Danielson was shot dead after participating in a pro-Trump caravan which drove through Portland.

Oregon Live reports that the Danielson estate accused Multnomah County District Attorney Mike Schmidt of playing a role by broadcasting last summer that he had adopted a new policy and wouldn't pursue what he considered public order crimes such as criminal mischief, interfering with an officer or a stand-alone riot charge, and instead would focus on deliberate property damage and threats of force or actual force against others.

Christopher Cauble, the attorney filing the lawsuit, commented via press statement: "We are seeking justice for the preventable death of a young man, gunned down in a city with a dangerous and deadly hands-off approach to public safety. Time and time again, City leadership and law enforcement have failed to find an effective response to clashing groups of protesters."

"Given the enormity of the press coverage over the past several years regarding clashes between left- and right-leaning protest groups in the downtown core of Portland, Defendants knew or should have known that violent clashes would occur," Cauble wrote in the lawsuit.

Surveillance video released by the Portland police show that Danielson was killed by self-identified Antifa militant Michael Reinoehl who fired shots at the Trump supporter as he was walking downtown.

Danielson retaliated with bear spray, but one of his wounds proved fatal, and he was pronounced dead at the scene 10 minutes later. He died from a single bullet to the upper right chest, an autopsy later found.

There even exists evidence that Reinoehl, who provided "security" for pro-Black Lives Matter rioters in Portland, had targeted Danielson and stalked him at the time before the shooting occurred. The emergence of footage in September 2020 ran contrary to Reinoehl's claims that he killed Danielson in self-defense. Speaking to Vice, Reinoehl had stated that he killed Danielson to stop the Trump supporter from killing an unnamed "person of color." Reinoehl could be seen stalking Danielson and his friend from an alcove of a parking garage before he opened fire.

A homicide detective wrote in the affidavit that Reinoehl "conceals himself, waits and watches" for the men to pass him before he follows them and shoots them.

Reinoehl himself was killed days later when US Marshals tried to arrest him and he resisted, shooting first in the fatal shootout, according to investigators.

-Lurid Crime Tales-
Driver Opens Fire on Two Alleged Car Thieves, Killing One
[BREITBART] The driver of a Jeep opened fire on two alleged car thieves Friday, killing one and wounding another outside a shopping center in Atlanta’s Buckhead community.

Fox 5 Atlanta reports the driver came out of the shopping center and saw two teens allegedly breaking into his car. He confronted them both and, at some point, pulled out his handgun and shot at them, killing one.

The second teen ran off, intermittingly shooting back at the driver. The driver returned fire, striking the fleeing teen, a 17-year-old, in the wrist.

11 Alive quotes Atlanta Police Department Deputy Chief Timothy Peek saying, "The victim chose to take his weapon and defend himself against the people that were breaking into the vehicle."

Peek added, "It appears to be this was a group of people who decided to come out and commit crimes and unfortunately it led to the death of someone."

FBI fires Whitmer kidnap case agent Richard Trask
[DetroitNews] The FBI has fired one of the lead agents credited with thwarting a plot to kidnap Gov. Gretchen Whitmer after he was charged with beating his wife following a swingers party, The Detroit News has learned.

The firing of Special Agent Richard Trask earlier this week comes amid questions about agent misconduct and whether as many as 12 informants were driving the alleged conspiracy.

Trask was fired, according to a source familiar with his case, while awaiting trial on a charge of assault with intent to do great bodily harm and allegations he smashed his wife's head against a nightstand and choked her after a dispute...

Phoebe Waller-Bridge may replace Harrison Ford as lead in 'Indiana Jones'
[NYPOST] Phoebe Waller-Bridge may flip the script on Indiana Jones.

The English actress, 37, could be replacing Harrison Ford as the lead in the fifth installment of the "Indiana Jones" franchise, which is set to hit theaters next summer, according to The Daily Mail.

Sources told the outlet that producer Kathleen Kennedy was looking to make "big" changes — which could include replacing the lead character with a woman.

"It would be a huge statement, and a great role for Phoebe," one insider told the Mail.

It was announced earlier this year that the "Fleabag" star had been cast opposite 79-year-old Ford in the film, the name of which has not yet been revealed.

The iconic franchise has starred Ford as the lead since the first film, "Raiders of the Lost Ark," was released in 1981.

It’s not clear who Waller-Bridge’s will portray in the upcoming movie, but a source told the Mail, "The gossip on the set is that this character will slot into the leading role."

....HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHANo.

If it's hitting theaters next summer, primary photography is done or nearly so.

Secondly, I think Disney might have figured out that Ms. Kennedy cost them a billion or so in revenue, not to mention the goodwill of countless fans. Easier (and cheaper) to leave her where she is, but under really close watch.

I can see this being Ford's last outing as Indy and someone else stepping in to continue the franchise, but I doubt it's going to be Ms. Waller-Bridge. She's a terrific writer and a very funny actress, but she's not an action heroine.

Iraqi Shia militia group denies ceasefire agreement with government on anti-US ops
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Iraq’s Master of Martyrs Battalions, or Kata'ib Sayyid al-Shuhada' (KSS) group, has denied it has reached any ceasefire or agreement with the Iraqi government about stopping operations against US forces, according to a Rudaw TV report.Earlier in July, the commander of the Iranian-backed Iraqi militia group has promised the US with a "retaliatory response" to the killing of four of his hard boyz in US attacks last June.

Washington launched air strikes targeting what the Pentagon described as "facilities for Iranian-backed Iraqi militias" on the Syrian-Iraqi border on June 27.

"We want a process worthy of these deaders. Even if it comes late, the time is not important," Abu Alaa al-Wali said in an interview with the News Agency that Dare Not be Named at the time.

"We want it to be a process in which everyone says they have taken Dire Revenge on the Americans. It will be a qualitative process (that can come) from the air, the sea, along the borders of Iraq, in the region or anywhere. It is an open war," he said.

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
Uneasy calm in Syria's Daraa after army-rebel ceasefire
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] An uneasy calm held sway in a southern Syrian city Sunday after the army entered a former rebel holdout under a surrender deal, AFP journalists on a government-organized tour said.

Daraa province and its capital of the same name, the cradle of Syria’s uprising, returned to government control in 2018 under a previous ceasefire backed by government ally Russia.

But rebels stayed on in a southern part of the city called Daraa al-Balad, and over the summer they clashed with government forces on its outskirts seeking to retake the area.

A new Moscow-brokered truce has seen dozens of opposition fighters bused out of the city over the past few weeks and government forces return to the area since Wednesday.

Inside Daraa al-Balad on Sunday, AFP correspondents saw bulldozers clearing away rubble between battle-scarred buildings.

Syrian and Russian flags flew in several places.

The guns had fallen silent but the areas visited were largely devoid of civilians, and several onlookers on cycle of violences refused to speak to the media.

"Nine checkpoints have been set up on the edges of and inside Daraa al-Balad," a military source told AFP.

Government forces enter another town in south Syria's Daraa

[NPASYRIA] On Sunday, notables of a town in the western countryside of Daraa, south Syria, and the security committee of the government forces reached an agreement sponsored by Russia for the entry of the government forces and new settlements.

"A military force, accompanied by the Russian Military Police, will enter the town tomorrow morning and it will search a number of houses in the town," an informed local source in the town of al-Yadouda told North Press.

"The agreement provides for the settlement of dozens of the wanted people by the government forces and their dissidents from al-Yadouda resident," the source added.

On September 5, the Central Committee in Daraa and the government security committee, accompanied by the Russian guarantor, began implementing the terms of the agreement that includes handing over light and medium weapons.

During the past two months, neighborhoods of Daraa al-Balad, Tariq al-Sadd, and the camps have witnessed shelling by the government forces and Iranian-backed factions before reaching a Russian-sponsored ceasefire agreement.
