Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) along with Sens. Alex Padilla (D-CA) and Bob Menendez (D-NJ) spoke at a rally alongside Center for Popular Democracy activists. Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) also spoke at the rally.
For months, Democrats had hoped to slip an amnesty for illegal aliens enrolled and eligible for the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, those employed on United States farms, those with Temporary Protected Status (TPS), and those deemed “essential workers” into their budget reconciliation package.
In August, a budget resolution framework put forth by Democrats revealed the amnesty would cost American taxpayers at least $107 billion.
After MacDonough’s ruling this week, Menendez revealed that Senate Democrats are planning a different style of amnesty — one that would give green cards, and eventually naturalized American citizenship, to any illegal alien who claims to have lived in the U.S. before January 1, 2010.
Menendez said Senate Democrats will soon make the argument to MacDonough for the amnesty’s inclusion in the budget reconciliation package so that it will only need majority support.
Today, anywhere from 11 to 22 million illegal aliens live in the U.S.

China’s Evergrande is scaring the hell out of the property and credit markets. The group has $305 billion in debt. It’s behind on debt payments. A turgid litany of headlines is looking increasingly doom-laden.
These gigantic debts are currently “assets” to Evergrande’s lenders. Some or all of the $305 billion is on balance sheets as assets. Remove a few billion in assets from your balance sheets, and you get a mess. So a lot of major credit providers may lose those “assets” soon enough. The current bond deal scramble is just one debt, but there are many more. This issue isn’t solved, and non-payments aren’t resolved, either.
This practice of leveraging debt and borrowing against debts owed isn’t exactly new. Global markets borrow and lend on this basis. Everyone borrows and lends to everyone else. When it gets to $305 billion vanishing into thin air, however, in a volatile, all-sectors-affected market like property, the ramifications are enormous. Other companies may default. Property prices could crash.
In China, the property market is worth about 25% of the entire economy. Evergrande is the second top company in the market. A lot of Chinese and foreign finance is sunk into Evergrande, directly and indirectly.
We’re not talking about theoretical money here. The impact will be felt in hard cash, worldwide, if Evergrande collapses. A crash in the Chinese property market also has truly global reach:
Hits to property stocks could and probably would trash the related investment markets.
"Collateral damage," in the form of reduced general trade, goods, construction etc., simply due to the impact of lost money. You don’t lose six figures and rush out spending.
A lot of lost jobs for future projects across the property spectrum. Another direct physical cash hit on the real economy.

Possible runs on financial institutions as investors try to bail out of risky investments or get cash to manage their commitments.
Interest rate rises due to a credit squeeze.
Much more to the point – Chinese investors in foreign markets would have to reposition to manage risk in China. The Chinese property market could be absolutely smashed.
This in turn could (and almost certainly will) mean dumping properties on the market around the world, crashing their prices. Chinese property portfolios are huge, and directly affect local property markets. (Australia is a case in point, where Chinese money helped to fuel a pretty steep range of price increases, particularly in the higher end of the market.)

I am 75, I have problems mowing my fields, trimming my trees, fixing my farming equipment and painting my barn and home. I love dancing and talking to people who grew up like me. My first paying job was cleaning up at a dairy ( age 14) The people at the village grew up like me. We rode trains before air travel was available. The people at the village are my peers!

[WND] A constitutional expert says the recent indictment of one of Hillary Clinton's campaign-linked lawyers for lying during the 2016 presidential election — where Clinton lost for her second time — has revealed the "bag of tricks" Democrats were using against then-candidate Donald Trump.
Jonathan Turley, the Shapiro Professor of Public Interest Law at George Washington University, explains in an online column about special counsel John Durham's new indictment of lawyer Michael Sussman.
He's accused of lying to the FBI, because testimony he provided to agents conflicted with his own testimony to a Senate committee.
But Turley explained the indictment "revealed quite a bit about how scandals are manufactured and manipulated in Washington."
He said lawyers can find themselves "in legal jeopardy when special prosecutors found them holding a 'bag of tricks.' A dirty trick in politics can be a thing of beauty for a campaign — until it boomerangs on the tricksters."
Turley pointed out the actual charge against Sussmann isn't as significant "as the supporting narrative and facts disclosed by Durham in this prosecution."
He said the more than two dozen pages of supporting material in the indictment fill in "a number of blanks" in "how the Clinton campaign pushed a false Russian collusion narrative despite the objections of its own researchers."
Turley singled out a comment from one of the Clinton campaign "researchers" who said, "You do realize that we will have to expose every trick we have in our bag" by moving forward on the scheme to create a false narrative about Trump.

[Townhall] The Washington Post's Bob Woodward claimed that Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Gen. Mark Milley's calls to his Chinese counterpart in the final months of the Trump presidency were made "in the interest of protecting the country."
Last week, Woodward and his colleague Robert Costa released an excerpt from their upcoming book, "Peril," that detailed two secret calls, one on Oct. 30 and another on Jan. 8, that were made to Gen. Durham could have summed up the charge in a page. Instead, he spent 27 pages outlining the skullduggery behind the deep state war on Donald Trump. According to Durham, Sussman worked with at least three high-tech firms, two university researchers, and several media outlets on a cyber smear campaign against candidate Trump that dwarfed the Steele dossier both in scope and in sophistication.

They did a couple of planes for photo ops. Once they have been taken away from the TV cameras, they're being flown out and dispersed throughout the US.

[AnNahar] Hussein Tantawi, the Egyptian general who ruled the country following the Arab Spring uprising that removed longtime autocrat Hosni Mubarak ...The former President-for-Life of Egypt, dumped by popular demand in early 2011... , died on Tuesday, Egypt's presidency said. He was 85.
Field Marshal Tantawi was Mubarak's loyal defense minister for some 20 years. But it was Tantawi who led the country after the then-chief spy Omar Suliman announced on state television ... and if you can't believe state television who can you believe?
on Feb. 11, 2011, that Mubarak was stepping down after the 18 days of protest against his government.
Tantawi went on to chair the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces, which took power. Under his leadership, the military strengthened its tight grip on the country, outlawing dissent, and largely returned to using the same tactics that were in place under Mubarak and that protesters had decried.
Born in October 1935, Tantawi, who suffered from age-related health problems in recent months, died in a hospital in Cairo, according to a person close to his family, who spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to talk to the media.
His death came 19 months after Mubarak died in a Cairo military hospital in February last year.
Tantawi, appointed defense minister in 1991, ran Egypt for 17 months until the election in June 2012 of Islamist President Mohammed Morsi, Egypt's first democratically elected leader.
Morsi removed Tantawi and the country's chief of staff, Sami Enan, in August that year, following a deadly bad boy attack in the Sinai Peninsula.

"This incident came in the aftermath of a series of thefts in our installations in the camp over the last few weeks. Paleostinian faction leaders condemned the incident and the thefts and pledged their support to ensure these incidents would not occur again," Lazzarini said in a statement.
On the same day, in the Ain al-Hilweh camp, in the south of Lebanon, fighting between the Fatah and Jund al-Sham armed factions erupted, and fighters "entered four UNRWA schools," Lazzarini added.
Seven people were maimed because of the fighting there, including two civilians in Sidon. Lazzarini said Paleostinian faction leaders have condemned the incident and have committed to investigate it.
"I strongly condemn these incidents, which severely undermine the neutrality and inviolability of our premises and put at serious risk the protection and security of Paleostine refugees, UNRWA personnel and property. UNRWA is requesting that all parties commit to respect the Agency’s neutrality and the inviolability of its installations at all times and to take all measures necessary to ensure that incidents to the contrary are not repeated," he added.
Lazzarini also said that he continues to be "extremely concerned" about the deteriorating situation in Lebanon as a whole and its "significant impact on Paleostine refugees who were already among the most vulnerable communities."
"UNRWA is a front-row witness to the immense needs and the high level of poverty among Paleostine refugees in Lebanon. The Agency is sparing no effort to advocate for additional support to the Paleostine refugee community in Lebanon," he said.
"In order to continue to deliver critical services, UNRWA needs both additional financial support and full respect for the safety of its personnel as well as for the inviolability of its installations at all times," he added.
[All Africa] Eleven days after the State House of Assembly passed the bill, Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has assented to the bill prohibiting Open Cattle Grazing and Trespass of Cattle on Land.
The bill was unanimously passed by the State House of Assembly and transmitted to the Executive arm for authorisation.
With the governor's assent, it is now criminal in Lagos for herdsmen to occupy unapproved public areas and private land with their livestock for grazing. The law also prohibits the act of moving cattle round public places by herders.
The signing of the anti-open grazing law by the Governor followed the decision of Southern Governors' Forum last August, setting the September deadline to pass the law across member States.
There have been crises witnessed in some States, resulting from alleged open grazing.
Although farmer-herder crisis is not pronounced in Lagos, the anti-open grazing law is expected to prevent the spillover of the menace into the State.
Sanwo-Olu, who assented to the bill during the State's Executive Council meeting in Alausa, directed the security agencies to swing immediately into action and enforce provisions of the law.
He said: "By the powers vested in me as the Governor of Lagos State, I am signing the bill on Open Cattle Grazing and Trespass of Cattle on Land into law to prohibit issues associated with open grazing of livestock."
The Governor also signed legislation transforming the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Response Team (DSVRT) into a full-blown agency.
The development coincided with the commemorative month dedicated to raising awareness on gender-based violence in the State. The Governor and members of the State's cabinet wore attire with purple shades to support the campaign against sexual violence.
The DSVRT legislation provides for the establishment of Sexual Offenders' Register that would help the State efficiently tackle violations in the communities.

That's no surprise: the story doesn't fit the narrative of either Biden's handlers or the establishment media, which is that there is no significant jihad terror threat, and a much bigger problem is the "Islamophobia" of Trump’s bloodthirsty MAGA legions. Back in the real world, the guilty plea is a small reminder of what the real threat really is.
There is another reason why both the administration and the media would rather have this story go away, amid the chaos at the Southern border and just after the catastrophe in Afghanistan: Alowemer, 23, came to the United States from Syria as a refugee when he was 18. Yet he doesn't exactly fit the image of a grateful refugee, eager to become a part of our glorious multicultural mosaic. He told investigators, according to the criminal complaint against him, that "his motivation to detonate a device at the Church was to support the cause of ISIS and to inspire other ISIS sympathizers in the United States to join together and commit similar acts in the name of ISIS." He added that he "also targeted the Church, which he described as Christian and Nigerian, in order to "take revenge for our [ISIS] brothers in Nigeria." Christians are suffering fierce persecution from Muslims in Nigeria, but as far as Alowemer was concerned, this meant only that they were infidels at war with Allah, and he thirsted for revenge.
The young jihadi wanted to maximize the casualty count. The Associated Press reported that Alowemer had "detailed plans" to bomb the church, including a particularly cruel touch: "Federal prosecutors said at the plea hearing that he talked about potentially planting a second explosive device, timing the detonation to coincide with when first responders would begin to arrive."
The criminal complaint also inadvertently reveals the cluelessness of the FBI regarding the beliefs, motives, and goals of Islamic jihadists. It states:
In or around April 2018, the FBI identified a social networking account with display name "Mustafa Alowemer" as likely belonging to Alowemer. Notably, the "Intro" section of the social networking account included a phrase in Arabic text that an FBI linguist translated as "hoping to Allah that he dies in a way that does not require the traditional funeral cleansing and burial rituals." This same FBI linguist interpreted this statement to mean that Alowemer wanted to die by being blown up, which would render traditional Islamic funeral rituals unnecessary or impossible.
Well, yes, but the FBI linguist seems to have omitted the key point: In a tradition, Muhammad ordered that the bodies of the martyrs are not to be washed, as the blood and gore with which they may be covered is attractive to the virgins of paradise. Alowemer didn't necessarily have to be blown up, but simply to die in the process of killing infidels, as the Qur'an promises paradise to those who "kill and are killed" for Allah (9:111). If Alowemer had succeeded in mounting his attack and the FBI was there expecting him to try to blow himself up, they could have been completely wrongfooted. Expect the tempo of these attacks to increase over the next year.

"The current conditions experienced at Rikers are inhumane, unconstitutional and a public health crisis," they wrote. "We believe federal funds should be used to decarcerate and shut down the facility immediately, as well as provide social, economic, psychological and physical health support to all those that are released to ensure their safe reentry into our community."
Neither the mayor nor the governor have entertained the idea of freeing all Rikers inmates as they scramble to address the spiraling crisis at the overcrowded jail.
Rather, de Blasio and Hochul have pushed for releasing a subset of inmates locked up for technical parole violations. Hochul signed a bill into law last week that would make it so minor parole violations are no longer punishable by jail, but most components of that measure won’t take effect until 2022.

The suspect, identified as Samer Ali, 29, was caught on Monday when government forces raided his hideout in Polomolok, a town in the foothills of an imposing mountain range in South Cotabato province, police said.
Arresting officers seized a grenade from the suspect, who is also being sought for murder, according to provincial police commander Col. Jemuel Siason, who did not provide details about the alleged crime.
The man was suspected of "facilitating the recruitment for new members of the Islamic State" in Polomolok and the nearby municipality of T’boli, Siason told BenarNews.

[Breitbart] President Joe Biden’s administration is bringing Afghans to the United States who are carrying viruses such as measles, malaria, tuberculosis, as well as the Chinese coronavirus, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
On Monday, the CDC announced that the thousands of Afghans continuing to be brought to the U.S. by the Biden administration for permanent resettlement will be required to be vaccinated against measles though there has not been any indication that they are likewise mandated to take the coronavirus vaccine.

As of September 20, 2021, CDC has been notified by public health departments of 16 measles cases among the evacuees. All patients confirmed to have measles have been isolated and provided care, and their contacts have been quarantined. Evacuees who are in the United States are required to be vaccinated with MMR and complete a 21-day quarantine from the time of vaccination at U.S. ‘Safe Haven’ designated locations, such as military bases. [Emphasis added]
The move comes as there have been measles outbreaks at a number of U.S. military bases where the Biden administration is temporarily housing tens of thousands of Afghans. The military bases where Afghans are staying include:

They killed a soldier and a policeman during the attack, Sola Fasure, media adviser to the Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, had said in a statement.
The assailants thereafter set the prisoners free.
The early morning downpour on Monday aided their escape as the building housing the inmates was reportedly submerged by flood.
According to the statement, the Kabba custodial facility had 294 inmates as of the time of the attack, and only 28 inmates did not escape.
It said many of the 266 inmates initially unaccounted for were able to escape after the button men used explosives to destroy three sides of the perimeter fence.
Later, Sesan Nihi, the Kogi correctional service front man said no fewer than 114 inmates from the Kabba Correctional Centre had voluntarily returned or been rearrested.
Nihi was quoted as saying, "We have about 114 inmates back now. Some of the inmates returned themselves but I cannot give a definite figure for that. In fact, two just returned not too long ago. Some of the inmates were brought back by their parents.
"We have a search party with other security agencies to capture the remaining inmates."

[TASS] The Kerch Shipyard in Crimea has floated out the Project 22800 latest missile corvette Askold built on order from Russia’s Defense Ministry, the Crimean State Council’s press office reported on Tuesday.
"The launch ceremony was held under the direction of Russian Navy Commander-in-Chief Admiral Nikolai Yevmenov who also inspected the course of surface shipbuilding at the Shipyard and its production capacities," the statement sways.
The Askold will be the second Project 22800 corvette built at the Kerch Shipyard, according to the data of Russia’s Defense Ministry.
"The first warship, the Tsiklon, was put afloat at the end of last year’s summer and is currently undergoing a series of trials in Novorossiysk while the third corvette Amur is at the stage of its construction in the Shipyard’s slipway, with the work on its hull completed and the assembly of its equipment underway," the ministry said.
The press office of Russia’s Black Sea Fleet reported in August that the Tsiklon would enter service with the Fleet by the yearend.
Currently, the Russian Navy operates three Project 22800 corvettes: the Mytishchi, the Sovetsk and the Odintsovo. All of them are operating in the Russian Baltic Fleet. Overall, shipbuilders will construct 18 such warships, which will be divided equally between the Pacific, Baltic and Black Sea Fleets.
Project 22800 Karakurt-class missile corvettes are a series of Russian green-water multipurpose missile/artillery warships. Nine people, including two government school teachers, were arrested on Tuesday in Reasi district in connection with an alleged attack on a police party which had arrested a criminal wanted in a rape case, police said.
The accused were all close associates of the arrested criminal and one of them was also accused in a case related to the abduction and rape of a woman in 2013, a police official said.
Prem Singh was arrested by the police party in connection with a rape case that was lodged recently against him but the party came under attack from his associates who tried to help him escape police dragnet by creating a law and order problem, the official said.
"Singh is a notorious history-sheeter involved in 10 FIRs, including murder, rape and firing on police by a weapon issued under village defence committee, besides trying to disturb communal harmony and other violations during past elections," the official said.
He said Singh was "bound down" by executive magistrate twice in the past 25 years as a preventive measure to stop him from committing a crime.
Taking a serious note of the attack on the police party, the official said all the nine accused involved, including teachers Riaz Shah and Chain Singh, were arrested.
"The nine were arrested for endangering life and personal safety of others, attacking a police party and creating law and order problems in the Chassana area," he said.
He said both the teachers were booked in separate cases related to voluntarily causing hurt and other sections of the law in 2017 and 2020, respectively.
The official identified the other arrested accused as Chanar Singh, Pawan Singh, Balbir Singh, Sukhdev, Dalip Singh, Balbir Singh and Rakesh Singh.
A case of kidnapping and rape was lodged against Chanar Singh and a chargesheet already stands filed against him in the court of law, the official said, adding that another accused, Dalip Singh, was involved in a theft case in 2015.

[Sudan Tribune] Islamist officers in the Sudanese army tried to seize power in Khartoum on Tuesday morning but their attempted coup has been foiled. Military and civilian Sudanese officials confirmed the aborted coup but until now the transitional government did not issue a statement about the situation.
In the early hours of Tuesday morning, Member of the Sovereign Council Mohammed al-Faki who is also its front man issued a short call on social media to the Sudanese to take to the street to "protect the democratic transition."
Later, in a second post, he reassured the public saying the situation is under control.
Sources say the military intelligence identified the putschist elements in several corps of the Sudanese army and arrested them except the Armoured Corp.
The headquarters of this army is now surrounded by the army because some of them are retrenched inside its building. Some reports speak about ongoing negotiations with them to convince them to surrender.
Names of several Islamists officers in the army have been circulated but there are no official confirmations.

Speaking with my RN/LPN family members.
I am being told they are NOT having Hospital Bed Shortages, but MEDICAL STAFFING shortages to handle all the beds they have.
One of them said they are working shifts of 1 nurse to 29+ Intensive Care beds at a VA they work at.
WHY?
Well they are telling me...It seems many of the LPN's and RN's that have already had the C-19. Don't want, or see a need to risk taking the VAX, given the issues they have seen or been told of by other ER LPN's and RN's.
Besides, they can easily immediately find jobs for better pay and sign-on bonuses, at locations that don't require it of those that have had the C-19 already and test good for ?anti-bodies?.
RESULTS: So hospitals with Mandatory VAX or be fired reg's, are short handed. While once again the Medical/Federal sources are clearly not being straight forward with us.
