Army Football's Winning Record In Jeopardy As General Milley Keeps Giving Opponents Their Playbook
[Babylon Bee] WEST POINT, NY—Army's football program has been winning games this year, but that record may be in danger as General Milley keeps sending copies of their playbook to their opponents.

"I have always believed it's important to give your opponent a heads up on whatever your secret plans are," said Milley to reporters while getting his weekly pedicure. "That's only fair—especially when your team represents the racist imperial forces of American white rage, and your opponents are oppressed people of color. I learned that in my ARMY CRT training last week."

"I really appreciate the General giving us the Army playbook," said Ball State head coach Mike Neu. "That was pretty cool of him. We look forward to utterly destroying his team this Saturday!"

General Milley said he would really love to go to the game this weekend, but can't make it as he will be attending President Xi's son's piano recital in Beijing.

Washington university creates segregated housing specifically for Black students
As long as it's separate but equal.
[FoxNews] Western Washington University reserves a floor for its 'Black Affinity Housing program'.

A university in Washington has created segregated housing specifically for Black students.

Western Washington University has designated the fourth floor of Alma Clark Glass Hall as housing reserved for its "Black Affinity Housing program," becoming the latest school to adopt such a program.

"The program will explore and celebrate the diversity of Black and African American people and culture, with historical and contemporary context," the program website reads, also saying that all "Western students residing in the program help foster a warm and vibrant community supporting social, personal and academic success."

"Black Affinity Housing residents, representing all diverse identities, pride themselves on fostering a sense of belonging for all residents by creating a safe environment for open, honest, and sometimes challenging dialogue," the website continues.

The university hosted a webinar in April on the subject, saying the segregated living space gives students "the opportunity to live in a shared space… with others who have a shared identity, specifically a marginalized identity."

Additionally, the university said that the Black student organizations and Black applicants to the school have called for the housing program and defended the move as "not breaking ground on something new."

The controversial program segregating student housing based on race has been adopted at some other colleges, including the University of Colorado at Boulder, Stanford University and Cornell University.

American University in Washington, D.C., announced it would be offering Black Affinity Housing after the conviction of Derek Chauvin for the murder of George Floyd.

Western Washington University did not respond to Fox News’ request for comment.

#6  My university had interest cluster housing in the dormitories in the late 1970s — for nursing students and polymaths and football players and African-Americans, among others. I was temporarily parked in that last until a bed in my chosen interest group opened up, and boy did the other girls resent my white face among them. There was also a sweet American Born Chinese girl, but she had to be hospitalized for schizophrenia, so she left before she became an issue to them.

Government Corruption
Biden is ordering Border Patrol and ICE to break the law, says former Kansas secretary of state
[JustTheNews] Kris Kobach is representing an association of ICE officers and a group of Texas sheriffs in a lawsuit against the administration for not enforcing immigration law.

If the preliminary injunction is approved, Border Patrol could detain illegal immigrants again, former Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach said.
Border Patrol and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers "hate" being forced to break the law by the Biden administration, said former Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach, who is representing an association of ICE officers and a group of Texas sheriffs in a lawsuit against the administration for not enforcing immigration law.

According to the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996 (IIRIRA), Kobach said on the John Solomon Reports podcast Monday, all discretion with regard to removing illegal immigrants from the country was taken away from the executive branch. The law simply says to detain and remove illegal immigrants.

"[T]he Biden administration's just ignoring the law and actually ordering ICE officers and Border Patrol officers to disregard the law, to violate the law," Kobach said. "And that has a really deleterious effect on Texas counties and sheriffs because they are no longer taking custody of, and deporting, dangerous alien criminals."

He added that these illegal immigrants have "very long criminal records" and "have committed really atrocious crimes," such as sex crimes against minors, assaults on officers, and weapons violations.

While ICE would have previously made the detaining and removal of these illegal immigrants a top priority, now the Biden administration has told them not to take illegal immigrants that sheriffs have detained.

Kobach brought the lawsuit in July and is hoping the federal district judge will rule "any day now" on a preliminary injunction motion that is pending. He added that the Biden administration is trying to get the case kicked out of the court so they can have it brought in front of a more activist court.

The former Kansas secretary of state said that the Biden administration's argument is simply that "the executive branch always get to do whatever we want to do when it comes to enforcing immigration laws."

However, "that's simply not the case," Kobach said, adding that he is "cautiously optimistic" he and his clients will win the case.

If the preliminary injunction is approved, Border Patrol could detain illegal immigrants again, he said.

From the end of January through July, the seven counties represented in the lawsuit have seen crime and arrests more than double compared to the same time last year, Kobach said.

"It's extraordinary how the sheriffs are just totally overwhelmed," he said, explaining that they don't have the resources to handle the illegal immigrants. "They would have to more than double the size of their jails, their personnel. It's a true crisis at the border, and it is not letting up."

Ordering ICE and Border Patrol officers to break the law is "incredibly demoralizing," Kobach said, "because these law enforcement officers, these brave men and women, trained and devoted their careers to enforcing these laws, to protecting the border, to protecting the American public, and to enforce our immigration laws. And now they're being ordered to stand down by the Biden administration.

"The Border Patrol has been transformed into an agency of babysitters and Uber drivers," according to what one Border Patrol officer told Kobach, "and they hate it."

"They didn't train for this," he said. "They wanted to protect the border, not process people into the interior of the United States."

Kobach added, "You have the Biden administration aiding and abetting the violation of law, and of course ordering its agents to break the law, as well."

They have a certified off his rocker type still tossing objects (knife? rocks and etc.) at police.

This after being ZAPPED a few times, Maced and Bean Bagged over a 20+ min attempt to de-escalate and arrest. Then the Taser aiming and pointing forced a Protect measure.

Could have it been handled better?
Yes I think it could have been handled better in a number of ways. A Tranquilizer dart, butterfly net, fire hose and etc...

But Police don't have those items and they use what the Politicians deemed they be allowed to use.

BTW: The media's shot fired count may also include the numerous Bean-Bags and Taser discharges. But that fact is conflicting depending on the which Media is being used as a source.

Xi's desperate roll of the dice
American Thinker
Time for some (cautious) optimism?

Wall Street and the big international corporations have suddenly awakened to the threat China poses. And no, it has nothing to do with the danger China poses to American national security, the massive theft of U.S. intellectual property, the release of the Wuhan virus on the world, or even its use of Uighur Muslims in forced labor. Rather, it has to do with the threat to Wall Street profits. This is what had George Soros criticizing BlackRock's recent investments in China and the Wall Street Journal clutching its pearls. Here's the backdrop to the story.

As the WSJ put it, Xi is trying to forcibly get the country back to the vision of Mao Zedong, who saw capitalism as mere transition phase on the road to socialism. Accordingly, Xi's plans call for more government intervention in the economy. Since he has consolidated power, the Chinese president is putting the entire state apparatus behind making private companies serve the state. Also, private business and the wealthy are now being "encouraged" to donate more of their wealth and profits toward Xi's "common prosperity" goals. Alibaba alone has pledged the equivalent of $15.5 billion. And Western investments in China are not being ignored by Xi.
For foreign businesses, the campaign likely means more turbulence ahead. Western companies always had to toe the party line in China, but they are increasingly asked to do more, including sharing personal user data and accepting party members as employees. They could be pressed to sacrifice more profits to help Beijing achieve its goals.
Why do bad things happen to good people?
...According to Kevin Rudd, former prime minister of Australia, Xi feels compelled to act at this time by three forces: ideology, demographics, and decoupling. As for the first, Xi is much more ideologically driven than previous Chinese leaders, except for Chairman Mao, whom Xi wishes to imitate. Xi has told party members that China's hybrid model of capitalism mixed with socialism (communism) has passed its use-by date. It's time to go full socialist (fascist). Xi is a true believer.

Rudd says demographics figure large in Xi's thinking. The May 2021 census revealed that birth rates have fallen sharply, to 1.3, which is even lower than Japan's. Worse yet, China's demographic profile is upside-down — it has fewer and fewer young people with a rapidly aging population. Xi sees this as a major impediment to China's goal of becoming a major world power by the centenary of the founding of the People's Republic in 2049.

Rudd goes on the say Xi wants China to selectively decouple from the West and formally present itself as a strategic rival to America on the world stage. The Chinese president talks about this being a protracted struggle lasting to the mid-century. In his mind, Xi sees all this leading to a "dual circulation economy," where reliance on exports is diminished while Chinese consumer domestic demand becomes the main driver of economic growth.
Good. IMO, PLA is a lot less dangerous than destruction of Western industry by a a flood of cheap (because Chinese gov subsidized) goods.

Experts: COVID-19 Will Resemble Common Cold by Spring 2022
BLUF:
[LI] Professor Dame Sarah Gilbert, the creator of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine, asserts that COVID-19 is unlikely to mutate into a deadlier variant and will eventually end up as a common cold.

Cutting down fears of a more deadly new variant, she said that viruses tend to "become less virulent as they circulate" through the population, Daily Mail reported.
"There is no reason to think we will have a more virulent version of SARS-CoV-2", as "there aren’t very many places for the virus to go to have something that will evade immunity but still be a really infectious virus", Gilbert was quoted as saying.

...SARS-CoV-2 will eventually become like the coronaviruses which circulate widely and cause the common cold, Gilbert said.

"We already live with four different human coronaviruses that we don’t really ever think about very much and eventually SARS-CoV-2 will become one of those," said Gilbert, while speaking at a seminar of the Royal Society of Medicine

While this is good news, it must be tempered by the reality that public health officials are now used to both the limelight and copious funding.

Obama White House alums blast Mark Zuckerberg after Trump rally goers call to "lock him up"
[Salon] Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg received harsh criticism from former Obama administration officials following Donald Trump's political rally in Georgia.

When Trump complained about Zuckerberg at the rally, the crowd began chanting "lock him up."

"Well, they should be looking at that, Trump said.

Trump's comments came less than one week after a new report claimed the Facebook CEO cut a deal with Trump to avoid fact-checking political posts. In return, the Trump administration would not impose regulations on the social media behemoth.

"Facebook sold its soul and got a 'lock him up' chant in return. While doing its part to destroy democracy around the world," former Obama Deputy National Security Advisor Ben Rhodes said.

"This speech is a real indictment of the entire strategy employed by the Facebook public policy team. Years of twisting themselves into a pretzel to appease Trump only to have him through Zuck into imaginary Gitmo," former White House senior advisor Dan Pfeiffer said.

"Guess those ass-kissing sessions at the White House and letting him break Facebook's rules didn't protect you Mark," former Obama spokesperson Tommy Vietor said.

-Short Attention Span Theater-
Are Vaccines the New Military-Industrial Complex?
[PJ] One of the last things Eisenhower did as president was give a speech warning about the nation’s military-industrial complex.

"In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist," Eisenhower said in his 1961 farewell address to the nation.

Whether you believe the military-industrial complex—the power it wields and the money it makes—is real or not, one thing is certain: The United Stated has spent extended periods of time engaging in military exercises in other countries since Ike’s speech. We spent more than 10 tears in Vietnam and 20 years in Afghanistan. We invaded Iraq in 2003 and remained in force until 2011. Today we still have 2,500 troops there.

The point is, a lot of people have made a lot of money since Eisenhower’s warning.

Today we have a new moneymaker: COVID vaccines. Leftist politicians are pushing the vaccines with a dedication that would impress a Jehovah’s Witness.

FACT-O-RAMA! The U.S. has administered 388 million vaccine doses. There have been 6.06 billion doses administered worldwide. Cha-CHING!

Today, 82.4% of the nation has been at least partially vaccinated. Democrat leaders have used guilt, bribes, and, finally, threats, to get people to bend their knees and raise their sleeves.

The entire nation has yet to be partially vaccinated and the CDC is already pushing booster shots. Pharmaceutical companies are racing to get approval for children’s vaccines, even though kids rarely get seriously ill from the China virus. Thus far, 461 American children have died from COVID. Comorbidities in children are unknown because the CDC isn’t recording the comorbidities of kids who die of COVID-19.

Large explosives cache belonging to Hamas cell said found in West Bank town
Second day of action following this story from yesterday.
[IsraelTimes] A night after 3 button men were killed, Israeli troops again operate in Bidu using new intel gained from arrested operatives suspected of planning terror attacks

Israeli security forces early Monday carried out further operations in the West Bank to disrupt alleged plans for major terror attacks, using new intel gained following the arrest of some 20 suspected members of a Hamas, always the voice of sweet reason, cell.

It was the second straight night Israeli troops operated in the town of Bidu, near Jerusalem. Three Hamas button men were killed in a shootout with soldiers the night before.

In the latest raids, forces found a significant cache of bombs intended to be used in a terror attack in the capital in the coming days, according to television reports Monday.

The "kilograms of explosives" were hidden in a well whose exact whereabouts were determined after the Shin Bet internal security service interrogated the cell’s criminal mastermind and other members, the reports said.

A spokesperson for the Israel Defense Forces declined The Times of Israel’s request for further information, citing the ongoing investigation.

Clashes were reported between Paleostinians and Israeli troops during the operation in Bidu. There were no reports of injuries.

The reported criminal mastermind of the Hamas cell was maimed during a separate shootout early Sunday in the town of Burqin, near Jenin.

According to the IDF’s initial investigation, as troops approached the house in which the suspect was hiding, the Hamas operative shot up them from close range from the yard of the home.

Two IDF soldiers — a company commander and his radioman — were maimed. The maimed suspect was taken into custody.

The military said at least seven suspected members of the Hamas cell were arrested during arrest raids overnight Saturday, and at least five other suspected bad boyz were potted after they shot up IDF troops. Five guns were also confiscated in the raids, along with large amounts of ammunition. Several other members of the group had been arrested on the preceding nights.

It is estimated that the West Bank operations to dismantle the terror network will continue in the coming days, as the IDF believes some members are still on the loose.

Officials said the cell had planned an immediate major terror attack.

Dozens Of Massachusetts State Police Troopers Resigning Over COVID Vaccine Mandate, Union Says
[Weasel Zippers] BOSTON (CBS) — The State Police Association of Massachusetts (SPAM) said dozens of troopers have submitted their resignation papers as a result of the state’s COVID vaccine mandate.

The state is requiring all executive department employees to show proof of vaccination by October 17, or risk losing their jobs.

A source told WBZ on Monday that only one state trooper has told human resources that they would resign because of the vaccine mandate. The source also said there are others who spoke with HR to evaluate what their pensions would be if they chose to retire.

Last week, a judge denied a request from the State Police union to put a hold on Baker’s vaccine mandate for troopers.

The union released a statement following the judge’s decision.

Obama says US 'desperately needs' Biden agenda
[Washington Examiner] Former President Barack Obama said President Joe Biden’s "Build Back Better" agenda, hinging now on a $3.5 trillion rebuilding proposal being fought over in Congress, is something the United States "desperately needs."

In an interview with ABC's Good Morning America, Obama made the case for his former vice president’s economic recovery plan . In particular, he voiced support for higher taxes on the wealthy to prop up government-funded childcare and infrastructure reinforcement against climate change.

"I think anybody who pretends that it's a hardship for billionaires to pay a little bit more in taxes so that a single mom gets childcare support or so that we can make sure that our communities aren't inundated by wildfires and floods and that we're doing something about climate change for the next generation — you know, that's an argument that is unsustainable," Obama said in the interview set to air on Tuesday.

And unfortunately for Europe's population, with every passing day - and to a lesser extent hedge funds such as Statar Capital which suffered a big loss in the past few days - it's only getting worse. As Bloomberg's Javier Blas notes today, both UK NBP and Dutch TTF natural gas benchmarks have closed the day at their highest ever settlement level, up ~11% on the day (to a closing price equal to more than $26 per mBtu).

Afghanistan
Afghan Journalists' Identities Falsely Assumed by Evacuees
[ToloNews] Journalists at a gathering in Kabul on Monday called on the caretaker government and the international community to investigate cases of people falsely assuming journalists' identities to evacuate the country. The journalists said some institutions in Afghanistan have evacuated their employees and relatives under the name of news hounds while the real news hounds are stranded in the country. According to the journalists, some institutions also issue fake ID cards and journalistic documents for people and use those documents for evacuation.

"Some people have misused the name of journalists, made up fake documents and have evacuated their employees," said Serajuddin Patan, a news hound.

"I know that a number of institutions in Kabul and in the provinces issue fake journalists documents in exchange for $100," said Mukhtar Ibrahimi, a news hound.

According to organizations supporting free media in Afghanistan, since August 15 over 150 media outlets have ceased operating.

Frozan Khalilyar, a news hound said: "A female news hound phoned me and said if you know any institution that needs a cook or a cleaner, let me know. I am in a very bad economic situation."

Farkhunda Mohibi, a news hound, said: "After the fall of the former government, most of the women have lost their jobs and now they face severe financial problems."

Hujatullah Mujaddadi, the deputy head of the Afghanistan Federation of Journalists, said the federation, along with the security institutions, has started an investigation into the issuance of fake documents and the evacuation of people under the name of journalists.

"We are investigating the institutions that issue fake journalistic documents and send people out of the country under the name of journalists. We are also investigating the issue of Kam Air," said Mujaddadi.

Afghan journalists voiced their concerns over the misuse of their names for evacuation as Bloomberg News reported that Kam Air, an Afghan private airline company, transferred at least 155 family members of the company's leadership from Afghanistan to Abu Dhabi. Based on the report, the flight was intended to evacuate journalists and other qualified persons out of the country, but families of the airline's leadership were crammed into the half-empty plane at the last moment.
Bloomberg has cited a number of US officials that the Afghan airline-Kam Air- has evacuated 155 relatives of the owner of the airline and colleagues impersonating to be Afghan journalists and media workers.

As per the US officials, they planned to fly out 188 vulnerable Afghan journalists from Kabul International Airport to Abu Dhabi.

The journalists’ advocate groups in Afghanistan say that Kam Air has committed a crime by stealing the identity of journalists which is a crime and asked the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan to bring to justice the culprits.

Another group has asked both the Taliban and international journalists’ advocates to investigate the case impartially and punish those who committed the crime.

As per the report of Bloomberg, the people who have been evacuated are still in Abu Dhabi.

This is not the first time that people leave Afghanistan pretending to be Afghan journalists, hundreds of people have been flown out by different advocacies and associations in Afghanistan.

After the airplane landed in the United Arab Emirates, the US State department discovered the evacuees were not on the list, according to the report

Officials at Kam Air denied the claims, saying the company was not picking evacuees. The company was only responsible for transferring them, they said.

“We had only two flights--to Abu Dhabi and Tbilisi. They went according to the list. Because many people remain in Afghanistan, they make these claims that Kam Air took some families and relatives,” said Mohammad Dawood Sharifi, Kam Air chief executive.

The passengers who were allegedly not on the list are reportedly still in Abu Dhabi and their fate is uncertain.

Meanwhile, sources at the airline said that several people related to the chairman of the company were on the flight.

"I am a journalist working here, and still here. This has negatively affected my soul that someone misused my identity ( being a journalist ) and went out of the country, said Jawad Etimad, a journalist.

"Every person from any address that committed this action should be accountable," said Ahmad Shuaib Fana, chief executive of the Afghanistan National Journalist Association.

Kam Air international flights are currently only to Pakistan from Mazar-e-Sharif.

Poland’s interior minister says material related to extremism had been found in the phones of migrants crossing its border with Belarus
[PUBLISH.TWITTER]

Poland’s interior minister said on Monday material related to extremism had been found in the phones of migrants colonists crossing its border with Belarus and he called for a 60-day extension to a state of emergency along the frontier.

The European Union
...the successor to the Holy Roman Empire, only without the Hapsburgs and the nifty uniforms and the dancing...
member state declared the emergency at the start of September over a surge in migration that Polish and EU officials blame on Belarus. But Poland’s nationalist government has drawn criticism from rights groups over its treatment of migrants colonists, five of whom have died on the frontier.

"(The situation is) extremely tense...I will apply to the Council of Ministers (cabinet) for an extension of the state of emergency by 60 days," Interior Minister Mariusz Kaminski told a news conference.

For the latest headlines, follow our Google News channel online or via the app.

During the briefing Polish officials showed material which they said were text messages and other images linked to "Islamic extremism" found on some of the migrants colonists’ electronic devices.

Rooters could not independently confirm the veracity of the messages or images.

Poland’s opposition and human rights
...which are often intentionally defined so widely as to be meaningless...
groups have accused the ruling right-wing nationalist Law and Justice (PiS) party in the past of stoking prejudice against immigrants colonists for political gain.

During the 2015 migrant crisis, the PiS leader said refugees from the Middle East could bring disease and parasites to Poland.

Most of the current migrants colonists have come from Iraq, Afghanistan and Africa.

On Monday, Kaminski said the government was not trying to stigmatize the migrants colonists but merely presenting evidence it had uncovered to show that some migrants colonists crossing the border could pose a threat to national security.

He said that Polish security services had found links to extremism in 50 out of 200 migrants colonists questioned.

Poland and the EU have accused Belarus of encouraging migrants colonists from Iraq, Afghanistan and African countries to cross the EU’s external borders to put pressure on the bloc over sanctions Brussels has imposed on Minsk over rights abuses.

However,
a clean conscience makes a soft pillow...
the European Commission and rights groups fear that Poland is forcing migrants colonists at the border back into Belarus, violating their right to seek asylum and putting them at greater risk.

Unidentified aircraft strikes Iranian militia sites in Syria
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Violent explosions resounded in the farms area near Syria’s city of Al-Mayadin in the countryside of Deir ez-Zor, as a result of bombing by an unidentified aircraft on Iranian militia sites in the western Euphrates region, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported.
"unidentified" = "It was dark"
Explosions were also heard at the Syrian-Iraqi border, near Al-Bukamal, as a result of bombing by an unknown aircraft.

No information has been received about casualties so far.

The sources of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights had reported last week that the Iranian Revolutionary Guards militia had moved Iranian-made “Burkan H2” missiles from a militia’s weapons depot near the archaeological area of al-Shibli in the Al-Mayadin desert, east of Deir ez-Zor, and transported them via trucks.

The Syrian Observatory had documented two weeks ago, the killing of 3 people from the Iraqi “Popular Mobilization” militia, as a result of air targeting at the Syrian-Iraqi border.
The Times of Israel adds:
A base operated by Iran-backed militias in eastern Syria was struck overnight by an unidentified aircraft, Reuters reported on Monday citing military sources and residents of the area.
"They didn't say who they were and it was dark"

-Lurid Crime Tales-
Comedian Russell Brand: ‘Trump Was Right About Hillary and Russia'
[Breitbart] Firebrand English comedian Russell Brand is admitting Donald Trump was right about Russia all along — after the Department of Justice charged a lawyer linked to Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign with lying to the FBI to create the impression that the Trump campaign was colluding with Russia.

After reviewing the latest news on the charges, Brand said he was "flabbergasted" by the fact that the evidence now seems to show that "Russiagate was a Democratic conspiracy."

Brand said that as a leftist, he wants to believe that the Democrat Party is the party of "diversity and truth and social justice." But he added that the new evidence is worrisome. "What my concern is becoming is that these are totemic issues pushed to the forefront to mask ordinary, regular corruption," he said.

Brand’s concerns were sparked after special counsel John Durham charged Michael Sussmann with lying to the FBI about the origins of the Russia "collusion" accusations lodged against Donald Trump in 2016.

Home Front: Politix
US Gen. Milley: Whisperer to presidents, target of intrigue
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Gen. Mark Milley has been the target of more political intrigue and debate in two years as chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff than any of his recent predecessors were in four. One after another, firestorms have ignited around him — unusual for an officer who by law is a whisperer to presidents and by custom is careful to stay above the fray.

From racial injustice and domestic extremism to nuclear weapons and the fitness of Donald Trump
...Perhaps no man has ever had as much fun being president of the US...
as commander in chief, Milley has become entangled in politically charged issues, regularly thrusting him into the news headlines.

Milley is expected to face tough questioning on those and other issues when he testifies with Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin at a Senate hearing Tuesday and a House panel Wednesday. The hearings originally were meant to focus on the Afghanistan withdrawal and the chaotic evacuation from Kabul airport last month.

But since then, Milley has come under fire from Republicans for his portrayal in a new book as having taken unusual — some say illegal — steps to guard against Trump potentially starting a war with China or Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
or ordering an unprovoked nuclear attack in the final months of his presidency.

Milley was reported to have agreed with House Speaker Nancy San Fran Nan Pelosi
Congresswoman-for-Life from the San Francisco Bay Area, born into a family of professional politicians. On-again-off-again Speaker of the House. It's not her fault when they lose, but it's her accomplishment when they win. Noted for her heavily botoxed grimace and occasional senior... uhhh... moments...
’s assertion in a January phone call that Trump was "crazy."

Even during Milley’s swing through Europa
...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum...
last week, headlines dogged him and news hounds quizzed him. Mostly he batted questions away or buried them in detailed historical precedent.

Burly and square-jawed, with a bushy slash of eyebrows over often mischievous eyes, Milley is quick with a quip and frequently a curse. Born in a Boston suburb, Milley has Irish roots and an oversized personality that belies a sharp intellect and a penchant for digging deep into military history.

The Princeton-educated Milley often meets simple questions with a deep dive into history that can reach as far back as the Greeks, cover long stretches of both world wars, and expound upon the context and concepts of war.

So as he faced accusations of disloyalty for what the book "Peril," by Bob Woodward and Robert Costa, reported as assurances to a Chinese general that he would warn him of a US attack, Milley gripped his identity as a soldier who answers to civilian leaders. He declined to make his case in the media, instead telling news hounds that he will lay out his answers directly to Congress. His only brief comments have been that the calls with the Chinese were routine and within the duties and responsibilities of his job.

"I think it’s best that I reserve my comments on the record until I do that in front of the politicians who have the lawful responsibility to oversee the US military," Milley said. "I’ll go into any level of detail Congress wants to go into."

While some in Congress have charged that he overstepped his authority, President Joe The Big Guy Biden
...46th president of the U.S. Former Senator-for-Life from Delaware, an example of the kind of top-notch Washington intellect hacked up by the World's Greatest Deliberative Body. The guy who single-handedly lost Afghanistan...
has stood by him.

Loren Thompson, a longtime observer of the US defense establishment as chief operating officer of the nonprofit Lexington Institute, says Milley is a victim of Washington’s extreme partisanship and perhaps of his own efforts to shape his public image.

"His views and descriptions of his behavior behind closed doors, pop up too frequently in tell-all books like the Woodward and Costa book," Thompson said. "So perhaps Milley has taken a more active approach to trying to shape his image, and that has not served him well."

Two detained former prime ministers under Algeria’s longtime ex-president Abdelaziz Bouteflika were handed additional prison sentences for corruption
[PUBLISH.TWITTER]

Two detained former prime ministers under Algeria’s longtime ex-president Abdelaziz Bouteflika were handed additional prison sentences on Monday for corruption, local media reported.

Ahmed Ouyahia and Abdelmalek Sellal were sentenced to six and five years respectively for money laundering, wasting public money, abuse of office and “awarding contracts in violation of public procurement regulations,” according to the newspapers Ennahar, Echorouk and El Hayat.

The charges related to Hamid Melzi, the former boss of a state firm that runs a luxury residence for government officials as well as a publicly owned hotel company.

Melzi was sentenced to five years in prison, and also faces trial for industrial espionage and “harming the national economy.”

Ouyahia served four times as prime minister between 1995 and 2019, while Sellal led the government from 2014 to 2017 and managed all four of Bouteflika’s election campaigns.

Bouteflika resigned in 2019 under pressure from the army, following weeks of mass protests against his bid for a fifth term in office.

He died this month aged 84 and was quietly buried without the honors accorded to his predecessors.

Following his fall, prosecutors launched a series of enquiries into businessmen close to the veteran ruler, resulting in several serving prison time for graft.

Algeria ranks 104th out of 180 countries on Transparency International’s Corruption Perceptions Index.

It did not identify the killers but said dissident FARC guerillas who defy a 2016 peace agreement with the government is known to operate in the region.

Some 2,500 former FARC fighters remain active in Colombia, financed by drug trafficking, illegal mining and extortion of local communities, according to intelligence officials.

With no central leadership, they battle each other, the ELN – Colombia’s last active rebel group – and drug gangs for control of trafficking routes.

President Ivan Duque, in office since 2018, has redoubled efforts to clamp down on the drug trade, with soldiers destroying coca plantations that are the only way of making a living for thousands of peasants and migrant laborers.

Life along the border collapses as Biden fiddles
[WASHINGTONEXAMINER] Take all of the imagery you have seen of the over 14,000 Haitian migrants colonists camped under an international bridge in the small Texas border town of Del Rio and add the complications of disease, public excrement, unbearable heat, and heightened frustrations. It has led to violence that has injured Border Patrol officers .

Now close your eyes and imagine it is 100 times worse.

Because that's what it is, said Texas Rep. Tony Gonzales, the freshman Republican who represents 42% of the border. The overwhelmed city of Del Rio had been in a rapidly deteriorating crisis situation when illegal immigrants colonists first began surging into the community in January, but Gonzales now says the situation here is a "Category 5" and that the environment is unlike anything he has ever seen before.

"I arrived here today to pure chaos," he said. "I've never seen it in this environment. There literally is no border left."

Gonzales said Del Rio is in dire straits. "There's no doubt there's COVID here, there's measles, tuberculosis, all kinds of diseases," he said. "You’ve got kids running around in nothing but diapers. A handful of port-a-potties — my God, the stench is terrible. This is not good for the migrants colonists. It is not good for the residents. It's not good for wherever our government is sending them in the interior of the country."

No One From Afghanistan Will Address UNGA, Italy won’t recognize Tqlib gov’t
[ToloNews] No representative from Afghanistan will address the annual high-level U.N. General Assembly in New York after the ambassador for the government ousted by the Taliban

- who was due to speak on Monday - withdrew his name.

The move comes amid competing claims for Afghanistan's U.N. seat in New York after the Taliban seized power last month.

Taliban Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi last week asked to address the gathering of world leaders at the United Nations
...a lucrative dumping ground for the relatives of dictators and party hacks...
and nominated the Islamist group's Doha-based front man Suhail Shaheen as Afghanistan's U.N. ambassador.

Ghulam Isaczai is the current U.N. ambassador, who represents Afghanistan's government ousted by the Taliban, and has also asked to renew his accreditation. He was scheduled to address the final day of the high-level U.N. gathering on Monday, but withdrew late on Sunday, diplomats said.

Isaczai did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Rival claims have also been made for Myanmar's U.N. seat after a military coup in February ousted the elected government. No representative from Myanmar will address the high-level General Assembly meeting. read more

U.N. accreditation issues are dealt with by a nine-member committee, whose members include the United States, China and Russia. It traditionally meets in October or November.

Until a decision is made by the credentials committee on both Afghanistan and Myanmar, Isaczai and Myanmar's U.N. envoy representing the ousted government, Kyaw Moe Tun, will remain in the seats, according to the General Assembly rules.

The Italian foreign minister said that the Taliban are accused of human rights

violations which will not be recognized but added that the people of Afghanistan should be provided financial support by the international community.

Miao added that the world must get together to prevent an influx of refugees that will destabilize the regional countries and terrorism in the country.

It comes as the deputy minister of information and culture and spokesperson of the Taliban Zabiullah Mujahid has said that they will soon be recognized as they are in contact with the UN.

Respect for women and human rights, establishing inclusive government, not allowing Afghanistan to become safe haven of terrorism are the preconditions for the recognition set by the international community.

The Taliban has so far implemented none of these but has been promising to be doing so.

Inaamullah Samangani, a member of the Cultural Commission in the Ministry of Culture and Information, called the statement invalid.

"The Ministry of Virtue and Vice officially announced that the statement has not been issued by the ministry; whatever is on social media is not from the ministry," he said.

Residents of Kapisa province said the Taliban’s provincial department of virtue and vice ordered that the shaving or trimming of beards is prohibited, calling it great sin.

"They told us to not shave and not trim stylistically. Someone who violates this will face legal punishment," said Alem, a hairdresser.

Sadullah Salehi, a local news hound, said: "Residents welcomed some restrictions, like those on expenses of wedding ceremonies and firing in the air, which are included in the statement."

The department of virtue and vice in Helmand province has also banned hairdressers in the province from shaving or trimming beards, saying anyone violating this order will be punished.

Municipal workers in Takhar province also received the same order.

Some leaders said imposing restrictions will not benefit the Taliban. "Such actions harm the Islamic emirate. This makes the world nervous and international recognition will remain impossible," said Sayed Ishaq Gailani, the head of the National Solidarity Party of Afghanistan.

Previously some restrictions were imposed on women’s education and work, and the Taliban has not allowed Afghan girls to resume secondary school.

What they’re going on about:
Taliban issue no-shave order to barbers in Helmand province

[AlAhram] The order in Helmand province was issued by the provincial Taliban government's vice and virtue department to barbers in Lashkar Gah, the provincial capital.

``Since I have heard (about the ban on trimming beards) I am heart broken,`` said Bilal Ahmad, a Lashkar Gah resident. ``This is the city and everyone follows a way of living, so they have to be left alone to do whatever they want.''

During their previous rule of Afghanistan, the Taliban adhered to a harsh interpretation of Islam. Since overrunning Kabul on Aug. 15 and again taking control of the country, the world has been watching to see whether they will re-create their strict governance of the late 1990s, Some indication came on Saturday, when Taliban fighters killed four alleged kidnappers and later hung their bodies in the public squares of the western city of Herat.

``If anyone violates the rule (they) will be punished and no one has a right to complain,'' said the note issued to the barbers. It wasn't immediately clear what penalties the barbers could face if they don't adhere to the no shaving or trimming rule.

During the Taliban's previous rule, the conservative Islamists demanded that men grow beards. Since being ousted from power following the U.S.-led invasion in 2001, shaved or cleanly trimmed beards have become popular in the country.

Barbershop owner Sher Afzal in Lashkar Gah said the decree hurts the bottom line. ``If someone comes for a haircut, they will come back to us after 40 to 45 days, so it is affecting our business like any other businesses,'' he said.

R. Kelly found guilty on all counts in sex-trafficking trial
[NYPOST] R. Kelly was found guilty Monday of sexually abusing women, boys and girls for decades — capping the ’90s R&B superstar’s stunning fall from grace.

The "I Believe I Can Fly" crooner, 54, was convicted on all nine counts against him, including racketeering and violations of the Mann Act, which prohibits the transport of "any woman or girl" across state lines for any "immoral purpose."

Kelly, who was wearing a blue suit and white mask, sat stone-faced next to his lawyers as the verdict was read.

Kalmykia native gets 12 years for the oath of ISIS
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[KavkazUzel] Sergei Mandzhiev from Kalmykia, while serving his sentence in a colony in the Stavropol Territory, took the oath to the head of the "Islamic State," established a military court in Rostov-on-Don and appointed the man for this long term.

"It has been established that on August 6, 2020, the defendant, while serving his sentence in a correctional colony in the Stavropol Territory, took the oath to the head of the Islamic State to another person for transfer to the head of the aforementioned terrorist organization, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told at the press service of the Southern District Military Court.

Sergei Mandzhiev was convicted of an article on participation in a terrorist organization (part 2 of article 205.5 of the Criminal Code of Russia). The punishment for it provides for from ten to twenty years in prison.

In a colony in the Stavropol Territory, Mandzhiev was serving time for rape, which he was appointed by the Sarpinsky District Court of Kalmykia on January 30, 2015. The part of this term not served by Manzhiev is 8 months and 16 days. In conjunction with the verdict of the Sarpinsky court, Mandzhiev is now assigned 12 years and 4 months in a special regime colony, serving the first two years in prison.

Manzhiev pleaded guilty, the press service of the military court reported, specifying that the verdict could be appealed by the parties in the Military Court of Appeal.

The "Caucasian Knot also wrote that in April a military court in Rostov-on-Don sentenced prisoners of the Stavropol colony Alexei Alimov and Mikhail Anisimov to long terms, recognizing them as members of the Islamic State terrorist organization.

In July, the same court sentenced Stavropol resident Michael Labazanov to 15 years in prison, finding him guilty of involvement in a terrorist organization and the recruitment of prisoners there. And on September 22, he received 12 years in a strict regime colony, a resident of Dagestan Shamil Abdulmejidov, who was found guilty of taking the oath to IS.

Wagner PMC starts recruiting for their mission in Mali
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
by Vera Kasian

[LBUA] Wagner the Russian private military company is recruiting militants to carry out a mission in the African country of Mali. At the same time, natives of Ukraine, in particular residents of the occupied territories of Crimea and Donbas, are not taken on this task.

Relevant ads began to appear in publics associated with the APC in the social network "VKontakte," reports the BBC.
Here is one of their ads on Youtube. Slickly done, IMO. Almost made me want to apply. Almost.
To perform the "mission" recruit very different professionals: translators from French, health instructors, surgeons, therapists, general practitioners, engineers, cooks, drivers. All military specialties are especially in demand: sappers, miners, operators and mechanics of unmanned aerial vehicles.

Georgian citizens are also not admitted to the PMC. It is specified that neither natives of the self-proclaimed "Donetsk People's Republic" and "Lugansk People's Republic," nor residents of the Russian-annexed Crimea will be able to enroll in Wagner, which "causes some indignation among many participants in hostilities in eastern Ukraine."

According to the BBC, the recruitment of ready to go to Africa PMC has been conducting since August at the Molkino test site in the Krasnodar Territory. Some of the military have already left for Mali.

Earlier, the London newspaper Times, citing diplomatic sources, reported that a contingent of 1,000 Russian mercenaries would go to Mali under an agreement between Wagner PMC and the military that seized power in the African republic.

After that, France, Germany and Estonia, whose peacekeepers are also in the country, said they would withdraw their troops from Mali if there was a Russian Wagner PMC.

The EU is also talking about severing relations with Mali in the event of a contract with the APC.

During the UN General Assembly session in New York, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov confirmed that the Mali authorities had contracted with Wagner .

At the same time, the interim Prime Minister of Mali, Shogel Kokalla Maiga, explained that the country is cooperating with the PMC due to the reduction of France's military presence in this African country.

The former French colony of Mali is one of the largest and poorest countries in Africa. The country has no access to the sea, much of its territory is occupied by the Sahara Desert. The population professes Islam.

In May this year, the Malian military arrested interim President Ba Ndao, Prime Minister Moktar Uan and Defense Minister General Suleiman Dukure. The reason was the refusal of the president and prime minister to include in the transitional government Colonels Modibo Kone and Sadio Kamaru, active participants in last year's military coup.

In July, Mali's transitional president, Colonel Assimi Goytu, who came to power after the May military coup, was assassinated.

Mali is not the only new African country where mercenaries from Russia may appear in the near future. After Libya, Sudan and the CAR, where they have been for a long time.

In early September, according to the BBC, political scientists working with Prigogine were to prepare several analytical notes analyzing the situation in neighboring Mali's Guinea.

A military coup also took place in this African country on September 5. President Alpha Conde was taken into custody and Colonel Mamadou Dumbuya came to power.

St. Petersburg businessman and Putin's "cook" Yevgeny Prigogine is called the creator of Wagner's PMC.

Outspoken Marine officer who went viral blasting military leaders over Afghanistan is jailed: report
[FoxNews] Marine Lt. Col. Stuart Scheller rose to internet stardom by posting a video slamming the US withdrawal from Afghanistan

Marine Lt. Col. Stuart Scheller, the officer who went viral for blasting the military's leadership amid the chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan, has been sent to the brig, according to a report.

"All our son did is ask the questions that everybody was asking themselves, but they were too scared to speak out loud," Scheller's father, Stu Scheller Sr., told Task & Purpose. "He was asking for accountability. In fact, I think he even asked for an apology that we made mistakes, but they couldn’t do that, which is mind-blowing."

Scheller first rose to internet stardom by posting a video to Facebook blasting military leaders for the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan, questioning their command decisions on the events leading up to and during the final evacuation effort.

Scheller would go on to release several more videos, generating praise and controversy while drawing the ire of military leadership. Eventually, he was told by superiors to stop posting to social media altogether, an order he immediately ignored by posting about the gag order.

The officer also seemingly realized that last post could result in his trip to the brig.

"What happens when all you do is speak truth and no one wants to hear it. But they can probably stop listening because… I’m crazy… right?" Scheller wrote at the end of the post. "Col Emmel please have the MPs waiting for me at 0800 on Monday. I’m ready for jail."

Scheller is "currently in pre-trial confinement," a spokesperson for Training and Education Command said of the officer's status.

"The time, date, and location of the proceedings have not been determined. Lt. Col. Scheller will be afforded all due process," the statement continued.

But the elder Scheller defended his son, arguing that he was only asking for "accountability" from the military's top brass.

"He’s asking for the same accountability that is expected of him and his men," he said.

"I’ve had Vietnam veterans contacting me applauding him for his courage because they too want to know: Was it all worth it?" he continued. "And by demanding accountability and honesty from his senior leaders, that’s all he was asking. And the way the Marine Corps has dealt with it: They have now put him in jail."

G(r)om,

For the most part, we aren't. LTC Scheller was under some significant stresses (including likely PTSD and verified financial issues) and on top of that, after he announced he was getting out, his wife took the kids and split - apparently she found out about his decision with the rest of us.

There's also the matter that he was told to sit down and shut up until this got sorted out...and didn't. I'm inclined to believe the Corps may have intended to just get him out the door as quickly and as quietly as possible, but the bottom line is that he was given a lawful order, and in writing, yet...and couldn't/wouldn't do it. At that point they had no choice, especially when you remember that the Corps has never been especially tolerant or forgiving of those who stray from The Path.

He's going to go down hard, but I'm reasonably sure he won't do any bad time. And though right he may be, LTC Scheller also needs some folks to talk to. I hope he finds them.

He knows he is getting out, send the family home before the fall school year starts and get them away from the spotlight. Any proof of his financial issues? Any proof of his PTSD? And so what does any of that have to do with what he said? He is locked up to silence him. Plain and simple, now he cant even defend the "verified" slanders. But of course I'm under stress, have financial issues, question my govt, and PTSD, like every other vet. Lock us all up?

#7  #4 Mike, I only knew 3 LT. Colonels in all my IDF service (regular & reserves). All 3 were idiots (from my [sergeant's] point of view). But, you definitely has something there. There must be some trouble (like "You'll never be a colonel, Stuart) before one breaks every rule: written & unwritten; he have lived under for 20 years.
In any case, as you point out, political activity is an absolute no no for a field grade officer in a democracy - look at all these African countries.

#5 HE HAS MENTAL ISSUES!!!! HE IS BANKRUPT!!! HIS WIFE RAN AWAY!!!!

Come on 49 Pan, the reason such arguments are used because they are common causes of irregular behavior.
Certainly, it's easier to believe in mental breakdown than to believe that one suddenly (plenty of fuckups and unendurable stupidity in WOT before that) discovered the truth - and cannot wait to be properly discharged before shouting it at the world.

IMO, mental breakdown is a charitable explanation. The uncharitable one is that LTC screwed up big - as a commander - and acted to create a coverup for himself as a dissident.

#14  So I'm a retire LTC, as the regulars know. I served in Afghanistan, So I must be an idiot, or a communist. Fuck! Really? And my son who is serving proudly alongside thousands of proud Americans must be idiot or communists too? I remember joining in the 70's and hearing the same bigoted shit from ignorant and out of touch people. And now the same here on the Burg. Blame the soldiers, they have to be mentally ill to join, or have some nefarious reason. Blaming the honest foot soldiers for generals spending too much time in the pentagon is how it went in the 60's and 70's. I though we would have learned from that level of ignorance. As far as the LTC's mental state, remember this, it is impossible to defend oneself from a lie like this. The man spoke his mind, he's not crazy, he knew it would cost him his career. But the rest... pure bullshit and those piling on with the rumors are an embarrassment.

#15  my comment regarding "Idiots" and "Communists" was misconstrued. I meant, the way the rank & file (including O5 on down) are being treated and thrown away WITHOUT accountability by the "upper echelons" means going into the military at this point is damn near suicide.
Colonel Scheller was keeping the faith with those below him...and was discarded by those above him.
Loyalty is DOWN before it is Up...meaning you can't expect those below you to show you loyalty, until you have exhibited loyalty to them. They won't have YOUR back, until they know you have THEIRS. The "Brass" in the military (O6 and up) are showing NO loyalty or regard for those they carelessly throw into harms way.

'Shaman' charged with starting California wildfire after allegedly boiling bear urine
[NYPOST] A Caliphornia, an impregnable bastion of the Democratic Party, "shaman" charged with starting a wildfire that is threatening thousands of homes claimed it started by accident — while she was boiling bear urine to drink, according to local reports.

Alexandra Souverneva, 30, faces up to nine years in prison for allegedly sparking the Fawn Fire, which has destroyed 41 homes and 90 smaller structures and is threatening 2,340 others, officials have said. She has pleaded not guilty
"Wudn't me."
She is now being eyed for possibly starting other fires across the Golden State, according to the Redding Record-Searchlight.

As the fire in Shasta County raged on Wednesday, Souverneva claimed she’d been hiking and trying to get to Canada, according to documents obtained by the outlet.

She told forest officials that she was thirsty and had come across a puddle of what she believed to be bear urine — and tried to make a fire to boil it, according to documents obtained by the outlet.

She found it was "too wet for the fire to start," so she downed the water that she thought was animal urine and continued on her way, the report said.

Souverneva eventually got trapped in the brush amid the inferno and had to call the fire department to help her, according to the report.

She was asked to empty her pockets and fanny pack — which had CO2 cartridges, a cigarette lighter and an item "containing a green, leafy substance she admitted to smoking that day," according to Cal Fire officer Matt Alexander.

Workers at a nearby quarry reported seeing a woman toss two small CO2 cartridges that matched the ones found in her bag on the same day the Fawn Fire ignited, Alexander said in court documents.

On her LinkedIn, Souverneva lists "shaman" as her current occupation and indicates that she was a doctoral student at SUNY’s New York College of Environmental Sciences and Forestry.

An attorney for Souverneva told her initial court hearing that she’d made statements to law enforcement that indicated a possible mental health crisis "or something to do with drug abuse."

"She is also under suspicion for starting other fires," said the attorney, who was not identified by the paper.

Alexander said in a report that "there is a high possibility she is responsible" for a fire the previous evening, too.

"It is my experience that arsonists ... will light multiple fires in a short timeframe," Alexander said, according to the paper.

At a presser, Shasta County District Attorney Stephanie Bridgett said Souverneva had contact with law enforcement in connection to arson "in our county and other counties as well" but did not elaborate.

Shasta County Sheriff Michael L. Johnson broke news of the arrest to angry residents who’d been displaced or had their homes destroyed, the Mercury News said.

"It is difficult to grasp when disaster like this is, apparently, not a natural disaster. But we have a suspect," Johnson told them.

  • The newly released images come as the American government has admitted that 12,000 Haitian migrants have been released into the U.S.

  • Mayorkas claims that number could go up as 5,000 other cases are still being processed

Court upholds verdict of Ingushetia resident for 2019 attack on the police
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[KavkazUzel] The Military Court of Appeal upheld the verdict of Abubakar Yevloyev, who was sentenced to 17 years in the case of preparing a terrorist attack at a traffic police post in Magas and encroachment on the life of a security officer.

As the "Caucasian Knot" wrote , on September 30, 2019, police in Ingushetia wounded a local resident, who attacked the security officials with a knife after demanding to show documents. The detainee was hospitalized, one of the patrol officers became the victim of the attack.

On April 22, the Southern District Military Court in Rostov-on-Don sentenced Abubakar Yevloyev, a 20-year-old resident of Ingushetia, to 17 years in prison, finding him guilty of preparing a terrorist attack at a traffic police post and encroaching on the life of a security official. Yevloyev admitted his guilt.

The defense appealed against the verdict, but the panel of the Military Court of Appeal in the Moscow Region today also found Yevloyev guilty and upheld the verdict of the Southern District Military Court unchanged, a court official told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

There were no comments by Abubakar Yevloyev or his official representatives regarding the court's decision. A complaint against the verdict against Yevloyev was received on August 30, according to a file on the website of the Military Court of Appeal.

According to the investigation and the court, in Karabulak Yevloyev illegally manufactured an explosive and four explosive devices. On September 30, 2019, Yevloyev, carrying four home-made grenades and three knives, went to the scene of the terrorist act - a police post in Magas, and in response to a police patrol officer's request to show his documents, Yevloyev stabbed him several times.

Woke staff of woke network surprisingly un-woke about new boss
[Red State] It’s an uncertain time at MSNBC. A new Captain is taking control of the ship after the old one was effectively ousted over accusations of sexual harassment, and it would appear that MSNBC’s staffers aren’t too confident in their new leader’s abilities.

According to the New York Post, new MSNBC President Rashida Jones is being described as "buttoned-up," "young," and "lacking a creative vision" for the network. Not helping matters is the fact that Jones doesn’t seem to have high-profile connections that could draw viewers to the network. This is all a huge problem, especially with Rachel Maddow, the network’s most popular personality, eyeing the door and planning to depart in the near future.
They are getting a front row seat for the power of diversity hiring. You'd think they'd be excited. In the software business, this is called "eating your own dog food."
Jones’s plan seems to be more geared toward focusing on breaking news instead of personality-driven programming, including during the prime time hours, which have staffers feeling that her inexperience is seemingly stopping her from seeing the point of prime-time shows.

"We need to embrace our brand on primetime or we are going to lose big-time," one employee said.

John Hinckley, Who Shot President Reagan, to Be Granted Unconditional Release
[NATIONALREVIEW] A federal judge has approved the unconditional release of John Hinckley Jr., the man who tried to assassinate President Ronald Reagan outside a Washington, D.C., hotel in 1981.

Hinckley, now 66, has been living outside a mental health facility for several years under court-imposed restrictions, including the oversight of his medical care and tracking of his computer passwords. The new agreement will result in his full release from supervision in June 2022.

The Justice Department agreed to a settlement but will monitor Hinckley for nine months to ensure he remains mentally stable, as he will be living on his own for the first time in about 40 years and because one of his primary doctors is set to retire and dissolve Hinckley’s therapy group.

The department said it would file a motion with the court before June if it had new concerns, according to NPR.

Fifth Column
Antifa member charged with shooting anti-vaxxer in Washington
[NYPOST] An Antifa
...the armed wing of the Democratic Party...
member with a long history of posting far-left Death Eater content online has been arrested and charged with the shooting of an anti-vaxxer in Olympia, Wash.

Benjamin Anthony Varela, 36, of Olympia, was arrested on Thursday and charged with first-degree assault while armed with a deadly weapon.

On Sept. 4, a couple dozen Antifa from around the Pacific Northwest traveled to the Washington state Capitol building to try to shut down an anti-COVID vaccine mandate protest. The black-clad group was met by the rally’s volunteer right-wing security, who included Proud Boys members. When the Antifa group ran to the Intercity Transit Station, one of their masked members turned around and fired five 9mm pistol rounds in the direction of the right-wing group, which was about 50 feet behind, according to security footage. Proud Boys member Tusitala Toese was injured in the shooting.

Varela, a member of the Democratic Socialists of America, deleted most of his social media accounts before his arrest, but posts still available on Twitter show he corresponded back and forth with the Spokane and Olympia DSA chapters as well as Libcom.org, an anarchist-Communist website. Prior to deleting his Twitter account, his bio read, "professional anarchist, thug, and paid protester." His YouTube account, which is still online but doesn’t have any videos available to the public, features a red and black Antifa flag as its profile image. According to the affidavit, Varela ran into an alley behind the Union Gospel Mission after the shooting and discarded his black uniform.

"The suspect is seen removing his outer clothing and changing into the bright yellowish/greenish t-shirt," wrote an Olympia Police detective in the criminal complaint. "The suspect discarded his black t-shirt and beanie/watch cap in the alley."

Varela is a member of the forums at website Something Awful using the screen name "Doorknob Slobber." He has a long history of making Death Eater posts and has been suspended repeatedly by the moderators. In a 2017 thread discussing Antifa’s organizational structure, Varela wrote, "I think it has something to do with ... remaining decentralized in an effort to create cells instead of an organization structure that is easily targeted by law enforcement and other fascist
...anybody you disagree with, damn them...
s."

At the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020, Varela wrote: "Start hurting people, the coronavirus (aka COVID19 or Chinese Plague)
...the twenty first century equivalent of bubonic plague, only instead of killing off a third of the population of Europe it kills 3.4 percent of those who notice they have it. It seems to be fond of the elderly, especially Iranian politicians and holy men...
is going to provide great cover for a real revolution." He called for people to take up arms. The same month, he posted a rant wishing that both conservatives and liberals die of the coronavirus. In 2018, he wrote, "9/11 was good because the US is a Nazi state so we deserved it."

The criminal complaint says the police interviewed Varela’s live-in girlfriend, Jessica Lynn O’Connor, 34, who admitted they attended the direct action together on Sept. 4 while in black attire. The detective obtained a search warrant for their property and found a handgun under the bed.

"Jessica told me the handgun was not hers and it belonged to Benjamin. She told me all guns and gun-related items belonged to Benjamin," the affidavit says.

Varela is being held on $100,000 bail in Thurston County Jail. His arraignment is set for Oct. 5. It is unknown if he has retained an attorney. Days ahead of his arrest, a popular Olympia-based Antifa account on Twitter alerted the public that one of their comrades had been visited by agents with the FBI
...Formerly one of the world's premier criminal investigation organizations, something for a nation to be proud of. Now it's a political arm of the Deep State oligarchy that is willing to trump up charges, suppress evidence, or take out insurance policies come election time...
and ATF.

#7  They are embedded into saying such things. Some are so doped out or in the thank, they even believe it, when they are the militant wing of an alliance of globalist orientated political parties. Puts the domestic democrats in a bit of a pinch, as if they resist they get targeted but if they don't resist they get walked over. Makes me wonder how many international republicans are wondering how to surf that wave, perhaps hire out to pressure their national republicans?

#8  Worst anarchists ever.

The "anarchy" they seek is the supposed end-state of Marxism. That demented coprophage "predicted" that after the "dictatorship of the proletariat" government won't be needed any more, and it will wither away and the result will be anarchy.

There has never been a real "eliminate government" anarchist movement. It's always been "let's play out Marx's delusions" communists in a hurry.

That's why left-wingers who value centralized power over everything else are so tolerant of ANTIFA -- they're on the same side, against liberty.

#9  Its been my experience, now they would be proto-Anarchists at this point, and perhaps a regional flavor, that they wanted the system smashed which prevented them from getting their high on, and from getting in trouble for it, being rowdy or panhandling.

They took the systems' handouts, but wanted nothing contributing to any system. That is, cheap housing, I'll take it, then not pay rent in exchange for not trashing the place.

Thousands of mostly Haitian migrants traverse Panama on way to United States
[REUTERS] Up to 4,000 migrants colonists, most of them Haitians, have passed through the treacherous jungles of the Darien Gap in Panama on the Colombian border as they make their way north to the United States, two Panamanian government sources said.

An impromptu camp arose in recent weeks on the U.S.-Mexican border that included Haitians, adding to President Joe The Big Guy Biden

's migration policy headaches. At its peak on Sept. 18 there were some 15,000 people there as Haitians flee economic, political and social chaos in their homeland.

The camp was cleared of thousands of Haitians by Friday, with most remaining in the United States for now and others expelled on deportation flights or returned to Mexico.

Between 3,500 to 4,000 migrants colonists are passing through migration reception stations in Darien and Chiriqui, said a source with Panama's security ministry, who requested anonymity. The group includes Cubans and other nationalities, the source said.

Meanwhile,

Colombia and Panama agreed last month that 500 migrants colonists could cross per day, but local officials have repeatedly urged them to raise the quota, saying it is far too low to keep pace with the up to 1,500 migrants colonists who arrive in town daily.

Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[KavkazUzel] A military court in Rostov-on-Don sentenced a resident of Dagestan Ullubiy Agayev to nine and a half years in prison, finding him guilty of financing Syrian militants. Agayev pleaded not guilty.

According to the investigation, in 2017 and 2018 in Izberbash and in Moscow, through bank transfers, Agayev provided the participants of the international terrorist organization "Islamic State" with funds in the amount of about 80,000 rubles for the needs of illegal armed groups that are structurally part of IS and created on the territory of Syria for committing crimes of a terrorist nature.

Agayev himself did not admit his guilt, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told at the press service of the Southern District Military Court.

Ullubiy Agayev was convicted under Part 1.1 of Article 205.1 of the Criminal Code of Russia, the maximum punishment under which is life imprisonment.

In June, Agayev was convicted in Dagestan under the article on drug trafficking, having received three years in a general regime colony, according to a file on the website of the Kayakent District Court.

By adding sentences in two criminal cases, Ullubiy Agayev was sentenced to 9 years and 6 months in a strict regime penal colony. The verdict has not entered into legal force and can be appealed by the parties in the Military Court of Appeal.

At least 10 FARC dissidents killed in Colombia bombing, military says
[JPost] At least ten members of a group of FARC rebel dissidents were killed in an armed forces bombing in Colombia's southeastern jungle, the head of the military said on Monday.

Though the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) signed a peace accord in 2016 and most members demobilized, some former fighters reject the deal and continue to battle the government, which accuses them of illegal mining, drug production and other crimes.

The military bombing took place in a rural area of Morichal Nuevo municipality, in Guainia province, a top area for cultivation of coca, the base ingredient in cocaine.

"At this time we have, partially, the death during the course of military operations of ten bandits from this organization and an important seizure of materiel," General Luis Fernando Navarro, the head of the armed forces, said in a video.

Security sources estimate dissident groups - which sometimes compete with the National Liberation Army guerrillas and crime gangs for territory - number 2,500 fighters.

Senate GOP blocks bill that would fund government and suspend debt limit, as time runs short to avoid shutdown and default
[CNBC] Can you smell the panic-spin? I thought the Dems OWNED the Senate with Kamalahoe as tie-breaker? Flop-sweat time
Congress is running out of time to prevent a shutdown and a default.

Senate Republicans on Monday blocked a bill that would fund the government and suspend the U.S. debt ceiling, leaving Democrats scrambling to avoid a possible economic calamity.

The House-passed legislation would have funded the government into December and suspended the U.S. debt ceiling into December of next year, after the midterm congressional elections.

Lawmakers need to approve government funding before Friday to avoid a shutdown. The U.S. risks default if Congress doesn’t raise the debt ceiling by a point that is likely to come in October, according to the Treasury Department.

After every House Republican opposed the measure, the Senate GOP also refused to help Democrats suspend the debt limit. In a 48-50 vote, all Republican senators opposed advancing the legislation. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., voted no as a procedural move so he can bring up the bill again later.

Democrats now have to pull off a daunting series of maneuvers to avoid a sequence of events that could ravage the economy and cost millions of Americans their jobs. The Republican opposition may force them to pass a short-term funding bill with GOP support, then approve a debt limit suspension on their own — potentially as part of their up to $3.5 trillion budget reconciliation plan.

"The Republican Party has solidified itself as the party of default, and it will be the American people who pay the price," Schumer said after the vote.
