Imam of Peace on the Congresswoman
Made from lots of individual tweets
See also this article where Congresswoman Omar denies the court testimony
[Twitter-Iman of Peace]
A third party gave this background info on the Iman.
She says this about him:
I’ve met him. He’s a good man and the real deal.
He grew up in Australia. His father was a Shi’a imam. He went to Iran to become an imam, earned the title from one of the major schools of jurisprudence, and was appalled at the corruption, hypocrisy, and violence being preached.
He went back to Australia to find a better way.
He’s big into freedom of conscience and taking on the Qataris is the good fight.
Met him at the American Priorities Festival in October. He was gracious.

Note: Transcription of this series of tweets. All the tweets have more tweets inside them. I didn’t include those links

This thread will be one of the most important threads I make on Twitter. The illegal case behind this will be exposed with full transparency, in full details. For now, I direct the following information to:
@realDonaldTrump, @VP, @jaredkushner, @DonaldJTrumpJr, @seanhannity.
#1 I have sources for what I will say, and they are solid rock authentic. Many officials will criticize me for making this public, but I have a duty to do so. The public needs to know. I understand the potential consequences of this thread, and I accept them.
https://twitter.com/Imamofpeace/status/1154426961646649345?s=20

#2 I am willing to go to the fullest extent with this matter, even if I am required to testify in Congress. This is the beginning of the uncovering of what could be a giant scandal. The sensitive details of this matter will be shared in private, upon request.

#3 A Congresswoman is communicating indirectly, through an individual, with Qatar. The people she is talking to are a group close to Emir @TamimBinHamad, and they involve: @A_AlAthbah, @saifaalthani, @ahjh_althani and co.

#4 This Congresswoman, has confirmed to the above group of Qataris, that the recent investigations into her cases will not end well for her. They also fear that she’s in trouble. Now, they are coming after several people. I am one of those people, and their plan is as follows:

#5 This Congresswoman told the group of Qatari officials, who have invested in her, that
@SpeakerPelosi is happy that she is being investigated, because recently, they had rebelled against her (Pelosi). Also, she hates the pressure coming onto the party because of her.

#6 The plan of this Congresswoman is to make all of this “go away” and strike a deal with
@SpeakerPelosi, to put her cases aside, if she puts the case of this Congresswoman aside and ignores it. This is Qatar’s goal in DC with regards to this Congresswoman.

#7 This Congresswoman, along with a Palestinian female activist from Brooklyn, NYC, agreed on diverting the attention by planning to seek the assistance of @theintercept, Al-Jazeera, and The Middle Easy Eye, to fabricate the following scandal:

#8 They want to claim, that all of those criticizing this particular Congresswoman, are paid by Saudis and The UAE. And that it is a collusion against the Congresswoman. They are planning on separating me and @AdelleNaz in one case, and @DonaldJTrumpJr
and the UAE in another.

#9 The reason they chose @AdelleNaz out of all people who criticize this Congresswoman, it is because of her work/pics with @VP Mike Pence, and to show them in the fabricated articles. Their basis for this would be: “Qatari officials said so” - when it is all false information.

#10 The Congresswoman in question, tried to get me to say that I am being funded by the UAE and Saudi Arabia to “smear her” - to then turn it into an international issue. I have the full text her Middle Person sent. Through a leak, and she knows this is NOT the first leak! 👇🏼👇🏼https://twitter.com/Imamofpeace/status/1154428031596843009?s=20

#11 They want to accuse Saudi Arabia and UAE of operating in DC to smear her, and accuse me, @DonaldJTrumpJr, and others who have come after her (such as @TomFitton
) of being part of an international operation/collusion in America.
https://twitter.com/Imamofpeace/status/1154428339135795201?s=20

#12 As for the Palestinian Female Activist from Brooklyn, I recently reached out to her for a reason. I can confirm that she immediately showed my message to Qatar. And she is in on this too, and she will be running for Congress and they want to protect her too.

#13 As for the Palestinian Female Activist from Brooklyn, I recently reached out to her for a reason. I can confirm that she immediately showed my message to Qatar. And she is in on this too, and she will be running for Congress and they want to protect her too.

#14 As for the wider plot by @A_AlAthbah, @saifaalthani, @ahjh_althani and Co. it is to try and turn @jaredkushner against @DonaldJTrumpJr. And I can also confirm, with my sources, that Qatar did in fact give information to Meuller and helped him. Unlike what they said here:
https://twitter.com/Imamofpeace/status/1154428713624170496?s=20

#15 When the first leak came to me, I forwarded it to a Qatari Diplomat in DC, to show him that I am onto him and the Congresswoman, and the Manhattan Businessman, and the mentioned group of Qataris: @A_AlAthbah @saifaalthani @ahjh_althani and Co. < The ‘Co.’ is very important.

#15 More has been happening behind he scene, and other people are also involved (Shia man) - and I know them one by one. I have made initial contact to pass on all details and materials to the Concerned governments and their intelligence agencies through a lawyer.

#16 This is the first part of this thread. If the Qataris and this Congresswoman go ahead with this plan, either by the aforementioned News agencies or others funded by them in America, I will release more information the Qataris don’t want investigated: Jamal...........
@CIA

#17 As for the full case, I am documenting it and want to expose it all at the very end.

Cc: @IlhanMN @lsarsour @CIA @A_AlAthbah @saifaalthani @TamimBinHamad
@ahjh_althani @AmbDermer @RepRashida

#18 You cannot frame me, you fool You’d be framing yourself. No need to trap Mrs. Mole She will fall into it by herself. **** You can’t help it can you, keep digging! Can’t wait for you to see me testify in Congress. End of Part 1 of this thread.

#19 For transparency, I say: That I have made personal decisions at the moment that concern me alone, and nobody else. I will make these matters public in the near future. When I do, I will quote retweet this tweet for context. Never fear tyrant Govs. Fool and expose them instead.

Update with translation: Dean of Qatar’s Intelligence, Shaheen Al-Sulaiti, proves my entire thread above to be true by weighing in and accusing me of working for Dahlan, (UAE). Can @IlhanMN explain why a man of such a position would find interest in defending her!? Publicly????! https://twitter.com/Imamofpeace/status/1155085877682434051?s=20

He blew your cover. Totally. He’s not the only Qatari official either! Complication is being prepared.
Cc: @TamimBinHamad @ahjh_althani @A_AlAthbah @saifaalthani @IlhanMN @RashidaTlaib @glennbeck @lsarsour

HUGE UPDATE on Ilhan’s case (that requires some explaining). Not blurring names because this is not the real name of the sender.

I received the following Email 22 hours ago. It was sent to me and several public figures, journalists and Government officials. Translation below. https://twitter.com/Imamofpeace/status/1160896130676224000?s=20

I was CC’d on the Email. Also, the contents of the Email do not mention me in a friendly way, and serves as a warning to the Qataris. Perhaps it’s an investigator or the same person that leaked the first information in the previous Email above—or someone similar.

Translation👇🏽

I wanted to inform you that I have received confirmed information from politicians in Washington DC that what “Imam Tawhidi” has made public on his Twitter account regarding Mohammad al-Masnad, Abdulla al-Athbah, Saif aal-Thani, and other Qatari..

Officials has resulted in demands for an FBI investigation into the mentioned names. Based on their pressure, the FBI is now investigating this in a very secret manner to gather information for a formal investigation.”

End of Email.

After this Email, this report was released

The following report was released a few hours later, it speaks about Qatar’s method of hacking, buying politicians and funding of universities and institutes to sanitize its reputation. Then it states: “Gov. Departments provoked by this are taking action.”
Quote Tweet https://twitter.com/Imamofpeace/status/1160896143745642497?s=20

My comments are as follows:

The FBI will need to confirm whether or not they are truly investigating. If not, which other legal government departments are investigating? Will there be a longer report soon? I don’t know.

Why is MSM not investigating this? Maybe they will now.

I have not spoken to the FBI (yet). My sources and I are happy to meet with them, (they know that already). I can confirm however that I did recently speak in detail with Ambassadors in Washington DC and intelligence departments in M.E regarding the full details of this matter.

These were the people mentioned in the Email, and who I and my high profile source are pointing the finger at: @A_AlAthbah @saifaalthani @ahjh_althani
and Al-Masnad pictured below.

Again, I am following a strategy.
I will not speak to any media just yet. 👇🏽

#2  Wow, 3dc.

That's Mohamad Tawhidi. I've met him. Had a great chat the last time he was here. One of the 'echoes oscar mike echo'. Naturally, he's hated by liberal media even though he's most liberal, attractive and has a large youth following.

He hates mercenary islamists and professional holy-men, and wants a reformed religious constitutionality to the appointment of imams; and no Ayatollahs. The ISIS killed his uncle and close relatives. He also speaks against white islamophiles condescending to unknown elements for votes and getting their citizens raped and killed.

Here's hoping those industrious alphabeteers can be sicced on somebody who deserves the attention for a change.

try and turn @jaredkushner against @DonaldJTrumpJr.
Somebody in Doha watches a lot of 'Dynasty', me reckons.

#5  Soyuz 2-1v lofts mystery military satellite

Upon launch confirmation, the only official line was that the mission involved a “spacecraft designed in the interests of the Russian Defense Ministry”.

Speculation points to this launch involving NPO Lavochkin’s 14F150 nr. 2, which is the same class of payload as Kosmos-2519, which was launched on the third flight of the Soyuz 2-1v/Volga.

Should Monday’s launch involve 14F150 no. 2, it may be carrying additional sub-sats along for the ride, as has been the case with previous launches.

How many details Russian officials will disseminate will first depend on a successful mission. However, following the declaration of success, no additional details were provided.

Several projects were proposed to use the stockpile of leftover engines, with two – Soyuz-2-1v and the US Antares rocket – making it to the launch pad, although Antares has since switched to RD-181 engines. Russia intends to re-engine Soyuz-2-1v with the RD-193 when the stock of refurbished NK-33s has been expended.

So this is refurbished 1960s moon rocket motor powering this rocket...
Once the second stage had consumed its propellant and shut down, Volga separated to begin its role in the mission. Developed from the propulsion module of the Soviet-era Yantar reconnaissance satellites, Volga was powered by an 17D64 engine, which burned unsymmetrical dimethylhydrazine and dinitrogen tetroxide. Designed to be restarted multiple times, Volga would have made several burns during Wednesday’s mission before deploying the four payloads into their pre-planned orbits.

#11  From the 2017 launch of a sister sat..
Yesterday's Ministry of Defense report also explains the seemingly conflicting missions announced for Cosmos-2519 earlier ("remote sensing" and "observing satellites"). The "mother satellite" should then be on a (military) remote sensing mission and the subsatellite on an inspection mission. The question remains then what type of reconnaissance satellite this is and whether it uses an existing bus or a new one.

Glenn Harlan Reynolds: Democrats just might reelect Trump, and they'll have no one to blame but themselves.
h/t Instapundit
[USAToday] If President Donald Trump is re-elected next November, he’ll owe a lot of his victory to the army of activists working tirelessly to put him over the top. No, I’m not talking about the red-hatted MAGA crowd, tireless as they are. I’m talking about the army of leftist activists whose nonstop craziness is moving moderates into the Trump column day by day.

Anti-Trump conservative Rod Dreher shares a letter from a reader who notes the unpersoning of feminist Posie Parker (her crime: not believing that transwomen are women) and the recent attacks on the Salvation Army and writes: "I have never voted for a Republican for president, and I can’t stand Trump. But the 'Tolerant Left' is making me so angry with them that I am thinking of voting for him. Since I live in Massachusetts the Electoral College makes it irrelevant, but it would be a protest vote."

...All the Democrats had to do was not be crazy, and they couldn’t even do that. They started out after the last election demanding that Donald Trump not be "normalized" as president ‐ and then proceeded to act as abnormally as possible. Weirdly, this strategy seems to be backfiring.

Europe
That's when I became a sniper': Ukraine's women vets describe their war
[American Military News] Hundreds of women were among the young Ukrainians who left their lives and jobs and families to resist the Russian-backed forces who invaded their country’s eastern region in 2014. With little training and no combat experience, these students, economists, academics, office workers, and mothers took on a variety of military roles, first as combat medics, then as snipers and intelligence gatherers.

They endured the same harsh realities of war as their male counterparts, and a secondary insult: thanks in part to a selectively enforced Ukrainian law that bars women from combat roles, many were classified as seamstresses, cooks, or other non-combat vocations. The Ukrainian government has only recently begun to acknowledge their service and sacrifice.

In October, I sat down with five of these Ukrainians to hear about their experiences, what has changed since they went to the front lines, and what the United States can do to help them.

"I never imagined I would take arms. I don’t understand people who like to make selfies with a weapon," said Yulia Matvienko, call sign "Squirrel." She left her job as a civil economist in 2014 and became a medic. "During the first year of war, I believed [that] I, as a volunteer, could do everything possible to help the armed forces," she said through an interpreter.

Matvienko worked at a morgue just behind the front lines, where her medical unit came under rifle and artillery fire. Eventually, she decided to take up shooting. "I understood that I am not effective as, like, a volunteer. I did everything [I could] to become a sniper. I became a sniper to kill the enemy," she said. It’s a job she held for more than four years.

-Short Attention Span Theater-
SecDef: Attention on Deck
[SOFmag] As you all know, yesterday, I asked Secretary of the Navy Spencer for his resignation, and I received it.

The reason behind this request was simple. There are some basic rules that I was taught to live by during my time in the military. Many in the civilian world also abide by these same rules. When followed, these rules help make for more effective, cohesive and trusting teams. These rules are very straight forward and fairly well-known.

First, we have a chain of command that should be followed and that chain of command must be kept informed.

Second, once we agree on a position we stick to it and support it both in private and public.

Third, if you don’t like that position then simply resign, otherwise implement it as if you would implement any other order.

Fourth, we don’t discuss sensitive internal deliberations.

And, fifth, we are responsible for our organizations and whatever they say and do or don’t say and don’t do.

Fort Hood Army Personnel Called in to Dispose of Live Mortar Round Brought to Pawn Shop
[MIL.com] Army personnel from Fort Hood were called in to Commerce to dispose of a live mortar round that was innocuously taken in to the B6UP Pawn & Gun store for appraisal Monday.

Commerce Director of Public Safety Chris Basham said Monday that a patron brought the mortar round into the store earlier in the day without knowing what it was. He said that a bomb squad was called in to examine the device which was determined to be live.

Bassham said that a call was then made to the Army to properly dispose of the ordinance. At around 10:15 p.m., Army personnel left the scene to detonate the bomb, with the device being taken to city-owned property on Ross Street near the former Commerce Fire substation.

The mortar was safely detonated inside of a containment device shortly after 11 p.m. Reports came in that the loud boom could be heard as far away as Campbell.

UN adopts Israeli resolution on agricultural technology - Arab League abstains
The United Nations General Assembly adopted an Israeli-led resolution on Tuesday.

Some 147 countries voted in favor. Arab League countries, who usually automatically vote against Israeli-led resolutions, decided to abstain.

The Israeli resolution, titled "Agricultural Technologies for Development," is intended to help improve access to agricultural technology capabilities for developing countries, helping fulfill the secretary-general's goal of promoting sustainable development, the Israeli Mission to the UN said in a statement.

"The resolution speaks to Israel's strong capabilities in agriculture, irrigation and water management practices [and in] youth job creation in agriculture, and is consistent with Israel's longstanding cooperation with other countries, especially in Africa," the statement reads. "The overwhelming support the resolution received indicates its importance for many nations around the world, especially developing countries."

Follow-up on 13 French soldiers lost in Mali mid-air helo collision
Copied from an e-mail in toto due to the Figaro paywall. Translated via Fred's on-board device.
[Figaro International] Très chers lecteurs,

They were fathers, husbands, brothers, children, comrades, Frenchmen. On Monday evening, thirteen of our soldiers died in an accident during a fight against the jihadists in Liptako Malian. They died because they considered it honorable to fight jihadist organizations "who declared war on us in 1995" (Michel Goya). They took great risks for a cause that goes beyond our small immediate interests and that can be hard to understand ...

Have a nice day, today at 11am on the home page of our site, attend the show Les Décrypteurs. The effectiveness of Operation Barkhane will be debated.

Madeleine Meteyer, journalist at Figaro

- Valentin Duval, 24, member of the commando mountain group of the 4th Gap fighter regiment (Motto: "Always ready, always willing").

- Pierre Bockel, 28 years old, pilot of the 5th combat helicopter regiment of Pau (motto: "Honor and fatherland"), son of former minister Jean-Marie Bockel, he was going to be a father.

- Julien Carette, 35, mechanic, 5th Combat Helicopter Regiment of Pau, in concubinage, father of two children.

- Romain Chomel de Jarnieu, 34 years old, 4th Gap fighter regiment.

- Benjamin Gireud, 32, pilot, 5th combat helicopter regiment of Pau.

- Jérémy Leusie, 33, Chief of Staff, 93rd Mountain Artillery Regiment of Varces (Currency: "Rock and Fire"), pacsé.

- Andrey Jouk, 43, sergeant-chef, 2nd foreign engineer regiment of Saint-Christol (Currency: "Lorraine keeps me"), married, father of four children.

- Antoine Serre, 22 years old, sergeant, 4th Gap fighter regiment, pacsé.

- Romain Salles de Saint Paul, 35, Master Corporal, 5th Combat Helicopter Regiment of Pau, married, father of two children.

- Alexandre Protin, 33 years old, quartermaster-in-chief, 4th regiment of Gap hunters, in concubinage.

- Alex Morisse, 31 years old, pilot, 5th combat helicopter regiment of Pau, pacsé.

- Nicolas Mégard, 35, captain, combat helicopter regiment of Pau, married, father of three children.

- Clément Frison-Roche, 27 years old, captain, 5th combat helicopter regime of Pau, married, father of a seven-month-old daughter.

They fought for us. To stabilize a region and prevent jihadism from spreading further.

The drama immediately revived the debate around the presence of La Belle La Belle France in the Sahel. If the military mission is very well conducted by our 4500 soldiers, the political relay is null. The Malian authorities are not doing enough, and they are even tempted to negotiate with jihadist groups.

Let us pay tribute to these soldiers, have a thought for their families and friends who will mourn as they can, supported by the Army.

India-Pakistan
ISRO successfully launches CARTOSAT-3, 13 US nano satellites
Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on Wednesday successfully injected into orbit its earth imaging and mapping satellite CARTOSAT-3 along with 13 commercial nano satellites from the United States.

With cloudy skies in the back ground, the 44.4 metre tall PSLV C47 rocket lifted off majestically at 9.28 am from the second launch pad at this spaceport here.

CARTOSAT-3, India's most complex and advanced earth imaging satellite built so far, was placed into orbit 17 minutes and 46 seconds after lift-off, the immediate mission after Chandrayaan 2, where the lander crashed while making a soft descent on the lunar surface on September 7.

All the 13 nano satellites from the US were released into the orbit at 26 minutes and 56 seconds after liftoff, ISRO said.

ISRO Chairman K Sivan and other scientists broke into cheers as the earth imaging and mapping satellite was injected precisely into the desired orbit.

Later, speaking from the Mission Control Centre, Sivan said, "I am extremely happy to declare that PSLV-C47 precisely injected CARTOSAT-3 and 13 customer satellites successfully in the desired orbit of 509 kms."

"CARTOSAT-3 is India's highest resolution civilian satellite, and the most complex and advanced earth obvservation satellite ISRO has built so far," he said.

He congratulated the teams behind both the satellite as well as the launch vehicle, besides various review teams and industry partners involved in the mission.

On future missions, the ISRO chief said, "Our hands are full," with 13 missions slated upto March 2020.

"They combine some six launch vehicle missions and seven satellite missions," he said.

Team ISRO will rise to the occassion and meet challenges and make every mission a grand success, a beaming Sivan said as relief was writ large on his face since the earlier mission Chandrayaan-2 did not yield the desired results.

With an overall mass of 1,625 kg, CARTOSAT-3 would address increased user's demands for large scale urban planning, rural resource and infrastructure development, coastal land use and land cover.

It will also serve military purposes.

PSLV-C47 is the 21st flight of PSLV in 'XL' configuration (with 6 solid strap-on motors).

The 13 commercial nano-satellites from the US are being carried as part of commercial arrangement with NewSpace India Limited (NSIL) of the Department of Space.

Among the 13 commercial nano satellites are FLOCK-4P, 12 in numbers, with mission objective of earth observation, and one satellite named MESHBED, whose objective is communication test bed.

ISRO has said this would be the 74th launch vehicle mission from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota. The PSLV is in its 49th mission while PSLV-XL variant on its 21st mission.

CASRTOSAT-3 is the ninth in the Cartosat series and today's launch is the fifth for ISRO in 2019.

#1  The team at Alén Space has been developing nanosatellites since 2007 under CubeSat standards, the result of a joint development project between California State Polytechnic University (Cal Poly) and Stanford University that got underway in 1999. The original aim of the CubeSat project was to ensure affordable access to space for university researchers. The program was extended to include scientific and educational institutions world-wide as well as public initiatives in many countries and eventually also to private enterprise.

The New Feudalism: Oligarchs & Peasants; Goodbye, Democracy / Hello Radicalism
[American Affairs] America’s emergence in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries represented a dramatic break from the past. The United States came on the scene with only vestiges of the old European feudal order—mostly in the plantation economy of the Deep South. There was no hereditary nobility, no national church, and, thanks to George Washington’s modesty, no royal authority. At least among whites, there was also far less poverty in America, compared to Europe’s intense, intractable, multigenerational poverty. In contrast, as Jefferson noted in 1814, America had fewer “paupers,” and the bulk of the population was “fed abundantly, clothed above mere decency, to labor moderately and raise their families.”

Yet in recent decades this country, along with many other liberal democracies, has begun to show signs of growing feudalization. This trend has been most pronounced in the economy, where income growth has skewed dramatically towards the ultrarich, creating a ruling financial and now tech oligarchy. This is a global phenomenon: starting in the 1970s, upward mobility for middle and working classes across all advanced economies began to stall, while the prospects for the upper classes rose dramatically.

The fading prospects for the new generation are all too obvious. Once upon a time, when the boomers entered adulthood, they entered an ascendant middle class. According to a recent study by the St. Louis Fed, their successors, the millennials, are in danger of becoming a “lost generation” in terms of wealth accumulation.

This generational shift will shape our future economic, political, and social order. About 90 percent of those born in 1940 grew up to experience higher incomes than their parents, according to researchers at the Equality of Opportunity Project. This proportion was only 50 percent among those born in the 1980s, and the chances of middle-class earners moving up to the top rungs of the earnings ladder has declined by approximately 20 percent since the early 1980s. Corporate CEOs used to boast of starting out in the mailroom. There will not be many of those stories in the future.

#3  I think Kotkin's main point is that there have been deep structural changes to our economy and our culture that make it very unlikely that middle-class democracy will survive in this country.

We have to change the structure of our economy: at a minimum this means we must
- rein in the oligarchs and enforce the competition and labor laws;
- end the grifting from the Obanas Bidens Clintons Gore and all the other shitty pols-on-the-make;
- stop shipping manufacturing and other jobs to China and stop importing helots from Mex/Cent.America, and
- provide well-paying trades and related vocational education for the 80% of our young people who can't hack advanced college work and should not be in 4-year college programs.

Britain
Jeremy Corbyn Destroys Himself
h/t Instapundit
You ever wondered how it was that Romans actually enjoyed watching people torn to shreds by wild animals in the Colosseum? Watch BBC interviewer Andrew Neil’s merciless inquisition of Jeremy Corbyn, which aired this evening in the UK. You can’t watch it on the BBC Player in the US, but the full thing is embedded in the Daily Mail story, or, the Conservative Party is airing it on its Facebook page. Once you see it, you’ll understand why. It’s like Corbyn sat down with Neil as leader of the Labour Party, about two weeks before the election, and proceeded to commit slow-motion political suicide.

The Guardian doesn’t have a review up at this writing, but earlier in the day it published an editorial saying Labour hasn’t done enough to deal with Jew-hatred in its ranks. Here is its straight news report on the Neil interview, which focuses on how Corbyn refused multiple times to apologize to British Jews for grotesque anti-Semitism within the Labour Party ‐ this, on a day when the Chief Rabbi of the country called Labour out for it, and the Archbishop of Canterbury stood with his Jewish counterpart in solidarity. I kept watching Andrew Neil put the question to Corbyn, thinking, "Why can’t this man say that he’s sorry? Why is he dodging?"

The anti-Semitism thing took up the first 10 minutes of the 30-minute interview, though it could have been dispatched with quickly had Corbyn handled it differently. But the whole thing was just staggering. I don’t know that I’ve ever seen a senior politician destroy himself quite like that in an interview.

...Watch the last five minutes of the thing, in which Corbyn can’t bring himself to say he would give the kill order to British special forces if they cornered the head of ISIS as he was about to order a terrorist attack. That, to me, is an even bigger deal than the anti-Semitism mess (which is pretty damning), because it has to do with national security and terrorism. Corbyn is a wet-noodle leftist to the marrow. The Daily Mail is nobody’s idea of a left-wing newspaper, but even Labourites will concede that tomorrow’s cover accurately sums up their hapless leader’s interview:

Europe
EU drug agency sees rising gang violence amid steady prices
One must note that at least some of these narco gangs are Muslim colonists connected to various jihadi groups — Al Qaeda, the Taliban, ISIS, and so forth. And we haven’t been hearing much about North Korea on the subject, but didn’t they used to be involved in the heroin trade?
[AlAhram] The Europe
...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum...
an Union agency that monitors drug use says it has detected a trend of escalating violence between gangs operating on the continent.

The development of new synthetic drugs and changes to traditional supply routes feeding drugs into Europe
...heroin and opium from the Taliban in Afghanistan, cocaine from Hispanic America trafficked with the help of Hezb’allah, ISIS used to be very keen on captagon in Syria, both for the jihadis at home and for sale abroad...both
are bringing gangs into conflict, the agency said in its annual report published Tuesday.

The online sale of synthetic opioids creates new and unwelcome competition for heroin suppliers, for example.

These developments "create the conditions for disruptive criminal business models, greater competition and associated conflict, with the potential for an increase in harms, including violence, associated with the drug market,'' the report said.

"Drug market-related violence and intimidation is a growing concern in the EU,'' it added.

"In addition to firearms, including automatic weapons, the use of hand grenades and explosives in the context of drug-related violence appears to be increasing.''
...which explains the nonsense in Sweden...
European consumers increasingly have access to "a wide variety of high-purity and high-potency products," the agency said.
And what better way to turn your back on the future than with a wide variety of pure and potent mind-altering substances!
It added that these products are available at the same price or cheaper than over the past decade.

Europe's biggest market is for cannabis,
...from Mexico? That’d be Hezb’allah....
worth at least 11.6 billion euros ($12.8 billion) in 2017, followed by cocaine
Central to South America — Hizb’allah again, perhaps with help from the IRGC....
with an estimated minimum market value that year of 9.1 billion euros ($10 billion).

The Lisbon, Portugal-based European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction notes in its report Tuesday that illicit drugs are "the most valuable market" for criminal organizations in the EU.

The officials further added that the Special Forces killed 12 Talibs during a raid in Kunduz city of northern Kunduz province.

The Special Forces also destroyed a small cache of weapons during the same operation.

In a separate operation the Special Forces killed 11 Talibs and destroyed a small cache of weapons during a raid in Alingar district of Laghman

The population is half Pashtun, the remainder Tadjik and Pashai. It had a repution for great wealth until it was conquered in the tenth century by Abu Mansur Sabuktigin.
He conquered it and set fire to the places in its vicinity which were inhabited by infidels, and demolishing the idol-temples, he established Islam in them, He marched and captured other cities and killed the polluted wretches, destroying the idolatrous and gratifying the Musulmans. After wounding and killing beyond all measure, his hands and those of his friends became cold in counting the value of the plundered property.

The local officials said the bad boys, including 30 Paks and 2 Ottoman Turkish nationals surrendered to Afghan forces in Achin district of Nangarhar.

Tamim Arif Momand, the deputy provincial governor of Nangarhar said the holy warriors surrendered amid ongoing counter-terrorism operations.

Momand furhter added that ISIS holy warriors have lost capability to resist the Afghan forces.

Sulaiman, one of the holy warriors of ISIS said he joined the terror group in Afghanistan five years ago and participated in several fights.

The holy warriors also handed over several weapons including Ak-47s, PKMs, pistols and munitions, the provincial government added in its statement.

This comes as the ministry of defense had earlier announced that more than 600 ISIS holy warriors and their family members have surrendered to Afghan forces during the recent weeks.

Winter quarters are in Pakland.

Normally you don't have to 'destroy' AQ or ISS, just reduce them in effectiveness in order to allow 'nature' to take its own course in creating a stronger predator to move in.

The problem is Pakistan. They are the center of gravity for these outfits. The Deep State has played the game of bribery so long with little effect. Looks like Trump is starving them now of resources. They're seeking a replacement in China. Notice we don't see a lot about how the Chinese are treating their Muslims in much of that Pak-Chinese dialogue.

Israel-Palestine-Jordan
Israeli aircraft attack Hamas sites after rocket fire from Gaza
[Aljazeera] Israeli aircraft attacked several sites linked to the military wing of Gaza’s Hamas early on Wednesday in what it said was a response to rocket fire from the Palestinian enclave.

The Israeli military said the targets of the multiple air raids in the southern Gaza Strip included a weapons manufacturing facility.

At least two Hamas sites were hit, in addition to one for allied group Islamic Jihad, a security source in Gaza told AFP. There were no reports of injuries.

The air attacks came shortly after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu threatened to "respond vigorously to any attack".

"If someone in Gaza thinks that he can raise his head after Operation Black Belt, he is sorely mistaken," Netanyahu said in a statement, referring to two days of exchanges between Israeli forces and Palestinian fighters two weeks ago that was the worst such cross-border conflict in months.

Late on Tuesday, the Israeli military had said it identified two projectiles fired from the Gaza Strip, with missile defences intercepting one.

The rockets caused sirens to sound around the Israeli town of Sderot, close to the border with Gaza.

The attack was the second incident this week, and rattled the shaky ceasefire brokered by Egypt and the United Nations earlier this month that ended the latest round of fighting.

Foggy Bottom official describes frantic effort to save recalled Ukraine ambassador
[The Hill] A top State Department official told impeachment investigators in newly released testimony about a frantic but unsuccessful effort among senior diplomats to save the U.S. ambassador in Ukraine from a politically motivated smear campaign launched by allies of President Trump.

Philip Reeker, acting assistant secretary of European and Eurasian Affairs, testified privately last month that a "media storm" of negative but "highly inaccurate" stories targeting Marie Yovanovitch led to her recall from Kyiv in May, even as veteran State officials sought "a formal statement from the department" in her defense.

"There would be no statement," Reeker told investigators, according to a transcript of his testimony released Tuesday by Democrats leading the impeachment inquiry into Trump. "We would continue to use the press guidance that we had that had been cleared."

While his Oct. 26 testimony contained few new details surrounding the campaign to oust Yovanovitch, it supported the narrative delivered by a number of other veteran diplomats testifying in the impeachment investigation who have painted a graphic picture of efforts by Trump’s allies ‐ led by his personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani ‐ to go after Yovanovitch, a career diplomat described by Reeker as "one of the foreign service great leaders."

"There was a lot of unhappiness ‐ without anything explicit, because we were speaking on open lines ‐ there was unhappiness from the White House that Ambassador Yovanovitch was still there, and the belief that she needed to come back," Reeker testified, relaying a conversation with State Department counselor Ulrich Brechbuhl in April.

Reeker testified that the public effort to target Yovanovitch began weeks earlier with a column from John Solomon, a conservative opinion writer formerly with The Hill, who had interviewed Yuriy Lutsenko, Ukraine’s top prosecutor at the time. Lutsenko told Solomon that Yovanovitch had given him a list of figures he was not to prosecute, even as U.S. policy sought to rein in corruption in a country well known for it.

#4  "Yovanovitch used a Soros tool to illegally monitor U.S. conservatives," By M. Dowling, Oct 26, 2019.
The State Department utilized a powerful Facebook-owned social media tracking tool linked to leftist billionaire George Soros to unlawfully monitor U.S conservative figures, journalists and persons with ties to Donald Trump, according to an agency source, Judicial Watch reported.
The source — a State Department veteran — identified Crowdtangle as the tool used to closely watch more than a dozen U.S. citizens, including the president’s son, personal attorney and popular television personalities such as Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham, among others, Judicial Watch reported.
Disgraceful former U.S. Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch, an Obama embed, enlisted a Ukraine agency to conduct the unlawful monitoring using the search terms, Biden, Giuliani, Soros, and Yovanovitch, according to a Judicial Watch investigation.

If somebody is released/fired from a job in the D.C. bureaucracy they can quickly get another job in a different sector of the bureaucracy. After all looking at D.C. rationally it is a COMPANY TOWN. It's just the COMPANY (no not the CIA) is the US Government.

Just like Amazon, Boeing and others are diversifying away from Company Towns - the US Government need to do the same. It's way past time to play musical chairs with the bureaucracy and move it all over the country. If some cogs get let go they can find replacement jobs with another Company just not the taxpayer's one. Let them compete in the open labor pool of useful careers!

-Signs, Portents, and the Weather-
Airports hit in stormy California
DENVER (AP) ‐ The Latest on the wintry weather in the U.S. (all times local):

9:20 p.m.

Stormy weather and a power outage have affected two Northern California airports as a storm hits the region.

KPIX-TV says the Federal Aviation Administration imposed a ground delay at San Francisco International Airport Tuesday because of the weather, cutting the number of arrivals in half.

The airport reported several hundred delayed flights and about two dozen cancellations.

Oakland International Airport lost power for about 90 minutes Tuesday evening, shutting down its security checks and causing some flight delays and a couple of diversions.

It’s unclear what caused the outage but it came as thousands of people in Oakland and further south lost power during the storm.

Europe
Cold Weather Comes, No Relief in Sight for Bosnia’s Migrants
Go home/stay home! There is nothing for you in Europe but misery and failure.
[ToloNews] The camp is located on a former landfill, not far from a minefield left over from Bosnia’s 1992-95 war.

Despite the approach of harsh weather, hundreds of refugees and migrants colonists including Afghans are still stuck in northwest Bosnia in a makeshift camp described by international organizations as "dangerous and inhumane."

Migrant men, including many who have made several unsuccessful attempts to cross into neighboring Europe
...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum...
an Union member Croatia, sleep in the ill-equipped Vucjak tent camp.

The men spend their days collecting wood from a nearby forest to use for the small fires that are their only source of warmth during Bosnia’s chilly fall nights.

They get only one meal per day, distributed by local Red Thingy volunteers, and are forced to shower outside, with no privacy or even a semblance of comfort.

The Vucjak camp, where they might end up spending the entire harsh Bosnian winter, was set up by local authorities to increase the pressure on the central government, which they have accused of not doing enough to distribute the migrant burden around the country.

Bosnia has been overwhelmed by the arrival of migrants colonists heading toward Europe along the Balkan route. Most migrants colonists flock to its northwest region, which borders Croatia.

This has led to tensions in the border area where most of the over 6,000 migrants colonists are now in the country.

220 Telecom Towers Destroyed in Eight Months: ATRA
[ToloNews] Security threats have affected telecom services in many parts of the country.

The Afghanistan Telecom Regulatory Authority, or ATRA, says that 220 telecom towers have been destroyed by "the Taliban
...mindless ferocity in a turban...
and some other groups" over the past eight months, inflicting a $33 million to $50 million loss to telecommunication companies who must repair pylons.

According to ATRA, security threats have decreased telecom service by 30 percent across the country.

"These 220 telecom towers mean that people in 220 areas in the country were deprived of telecommunication services temporarily or continuously," said Sayed Haris Mir, head of ATRA services monitoring department.

Kunduz, Farah, Ghazni, Zabul, Baghlan and Balkh are among the provinces which according to ATRA have witnessed the highest number of attacks by murderous Moslems on telecom towers.

In many parts of the country, telecom services are turned off during nights due to security threats by krazed killers.

Some MPs, meanwhile, said there is a need for addressing the problem by security agencies.

"This has created many problems for the people who all want these challenges to be addressed," Nilofar Jalali, an MP, told TOLOnews.

"The government is responsible for preventing threats against telecom companies countrywide," said Raihana Azad, another MP.

Afghan Forces Receive Five More MD530 Helicopters From US
[ToloNewsj This shipment brings the total number of MD 530F training and combat choppers up to 60.

The Afghan Air Force received five MD-530 Cayuse Warrior light attack helicopters on November 22.

The helicopters were delivered to Kandahar via a Boeing 747 cargo aircraft on October 27 and were reassembled for active service within ten days, according to a statement by the US-based defense contractor MD Helicopters Inc., as quoted by The Diplomat.

The five helicopters, according to the report, are part of a total delivery of 30 helicopters ordered by the US Army under a wider $1.4 billion Foreign Military Sales (FMS) contract issued in September 2017.

The 2017 contract entails the "procurement of an estimated quantity of 150 MD 530F aircraft and required production support services to include program management, delivery support, pilot training and maintenance" to be implemented by September 2022, according to the US Department of Defense (DoD), as quoted by The Diplomat.

The Diplomat quoted a contractor’s statement: "With the latest shipment, the number of MD 530F training and combat aircraft delivered to the Afghan Air Force has reached 60."

Deutsch-Südwestafrika Namibia economic update
WINDHOEK (Reuters) - Namibians voted on Wednesday in what was expected to be the toughest contest yet for the party that has ruled for three decades of independence, an election it was still expected to win despite a brutal economic crisis.

President Hage Geingob, Namibia’s third leader since the sparsely populated and mostly arid country freed itself from the shackles of apartheid South Africa in 1990, is seeking a second and final term from 1.3 million registered voters.

He faces nine challengers including Panduleni Itula, a dentist-turned-politician who is a member of the ruling SWAPO party but is running as an independent. Itula is popular with young people, nearly half of whom are unemployed.

Concurrent legislative polls will elect 96 members of parliament, testing SWAPO’s 77-seat majority. Polls opened at 7 a.m. (0500 GMT) and close at 9 p.m. (1900 GMT).

Results are expected within 48 hours.

Mexican Cartels ‘Will Be Designated' as Terrorist Organizations, Says President Trump
[Breitbart] President Donald Trump told Bill O’Reilly he will designate some Mexican cartels as Foreign Terrorist Organizations (FTO). His comments came during an interview released on Tuesday.

"The Mexican drug cartels kill more than 100,000 Americans every year by the importation of dangerous narcotics," O’Reilly said to President Trump during an interview aired on O’Reilly.com. "Are you going to designate those cartels in Mexico as terror groups?"

"They will be designated ... I have offered him (the Mexican president) to let us go in and clean it out," President Trump responded. "He, so far, has rejected the offer. But at some point, something has to be done."

The president explained that the cartels have "unlimited money" from drug smuggling and human trafficking.

"I’ve been working on that for the last 90 days," Trump stated. "You know, designation is not that easy, you have to go through a process, and we are well into that process."

The President told Breitbart News earlier this year that he was thinking about the designation. "We’re thinking about doing it very seriously. In fact, we’ve been thinking about it for a long time," he said during an Oval Office interview.

"It’s psychological, but it’s also economic," the President explained. "As terrorists ‐ as terrorist organizations, the answer is yes. They are."

Home Front: Culture Wars
Washington and Lee U. Students Demand Removal of Washington and Lee Photos from Diplomas
[Breitbart] Students and faculty at Washington and Lee University in Lexington city, Virginia, are demanding that the school remove photos of George Washington and Robert E. Lee from their diplomas.

"We, the undersigned, call on the administration of Washington and Lee University and President William Dudley to provide students with the option of removing the portraits of namesakes Robert E. Lee and George Washington from their diplomas," proclaim the law students in their petition.

Washington and Lee University diplomas display portraits of both George Washington and Robert E. Lee, given that the school has been named after them.

The petition insists that its signees will be satisfied if school administrators simply give students "the option to have a diploma without portraits," rather than making the change "mandatory" for all diplomas.

"The goal of establishing this option is to create a diploma that alumni are proud to prominently display in their homes and places of work," affirms the petition, noting that the school had made changes to its diplomas in the past, "such as the transition from sheepskin diplomas to paper diplomas."

The students go on to cite "the aftermath of the 2017 Unite the Right Rally in Charlottesville and the heightened awareness of making Washington & Lee an inclusive and compassionate environment to all students" as their reasons for desiring such changes.

Kanye West Gets Targeted by the Left for Ministering to Prisoners
[Red State] This seems like a good use of some leftwinger’s time, right? The Freedom From Religion Foundation is going after a local sheriff and Kanye West for providing a little light in the darkness that is our prison system. Because what prisoners really need is to be deprived of a source of hope and belief in something greater than themselves.

This all happened after West held a completely voluntary church service with his choir at a local jail in Houston.

Despite the unmitigated good this service turned out to be, the FFRF decided to file a formal complaint against the Sheriff for allowing West to come.

In short, this was unconstitutional. You were elected to a secular office and to uphold a secular Constitution. You cannot use that public office to promote your personal religion, even if it happens to be a religion Kanye West shares. This constitutional violation is particularly egregious because it imposed religion on inmates‐literally a captive audience‐who have a deep and immediate interest in being seen favorably by you and your staff. When you signal that you prefer Christianity to inmates, you tell non-Christian inmates that they would be viewed more favorably if they convert to your preferred religion. It is no excuse that Kayne West is famous. If anything, this makes the violation worse because the captive audience may be more receptive to his message. Too often we see religion assisting the vulnerable as a means of converting the susceptible.

While Christians are vastly overrepresented in the prison population, it is still inappropriate to expose any prisoner to proselytizing, be it through music or a worship service. Now, more than one-quarter of Americans, 26%, are religiously unaffiliated and nearly 30% are non-Christians, either practicing a minority religion or no religion at all. Younger Americans are not just religiously 5 unaffiliated, they are largely atheist or agnostic. A recent survey found that 21 percent of Americans born after 1999 are atheist or agnostic.6

This is laughable horse-crap.

The First Amendment does not guarantee that religious activities may never happen within government facilities, much less prisons. Nor does it guarantee that a person never be exposed to religion. It simply guarantees that the government can not make religion compulsory, nor discriminate based on what someone’s religion (or lack of) may be.

-Lurid Crime Tales-
FBI Attorney 2 Kevin Clinesmith was the Primary Lawyer on the Trump/Russia Case; Here are a Few of His Texts
[Red State] Last weekend, we learned that the DOJ Inspector General’s investigators had discovered that FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith had altered documents used to support two of the FBI’s applications to the FISA Court for the warrants to spy on Trump campaign foreign policy advisor Carter Page. IG Michael Horowitz has since referred Clinesmith for criminal prosecution and he resigned from the FBI in September.

For obvious reasons, the media minimized his importance and presented Clinesmith as a low-level FBI lawyer. The reality is that he was a member of the Hillary Clinton email investigation team (Midyear Exam). According to DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz’ June 2018 Report (on various actions by the FBI and DOJ in advance of the 2016 election) which can be viewed here, he played a far larger role in the FBI’s counterintelligence investigation of the Trump campaign (Crossfire Hurricane). The report states Clinesmith was the "the primary FBI attorney assigned to that investigation beginning in early 2017." He then joined Robert Mueller’s investigation team and was dismissed in February 2018 after his anti-Trump text messages had been revealed.

Below is an excerpt from the report. The IG was somewhat concerned about the bias of FBI Attorney 2, but apparently not enough to view it as a threat to the outcome of the investigation.

On page 416, the report shows text messages Clinesmith sent on October 28, 2016 to several FBI colleagues he "considered to be his friends." These were sent shortly after Comey announced the reopening of Midyear Exam. But perhaps more significantly, they occurred just after the FBI had submitted the first application to the FISA Court.

#2  Some choice quotes from our fearless, impartial Incorruptible:

his employer "[the FBI] was walking into a landmine in terms of injecting itself [into the 2016 election] at that late in the process."

Right after his candidate list the election, he moans:

“I am so stressed about what I could have done differently.”
Other FBI Attorney: "Don't stress. None of that mattered."

Then our Incorruptible throws all caution to the wind and gives away the game with blatantly partisan political chatter and a vow to "FIGHT THIS AGAIN":

" I just can't imagine the systematic disassembly of all the progress we made over the last eight years. ...We have to fight this again."

Then a very curious assertion that he and his chums at the FBI have the power to determine election outcomes:

"And it's just hard not to feel like the FBI caused some of this. It was razor thin in some states.

MSNBC conspiracy theorist decries right-wing conspiracy theories
[Washington Examiner] One of MSNBC’s most prolific peddlers of conspiracy theories is here to tell you all about the dangers of conspiracy theories. How's that for expertise?

MSNBC contributor and self-declared U.S. intelligence "expert" Malcolm Nance, who has made a comfortable living in the Trump-era writing about Russia’s supposed control of the White House, spoke recently with the New Yorker’s Isaac Chotiner.

In the interview, aptly titled "Malcolm Nance on the Danger of Conspiracy Theories," Chotiner pressed the intelligence "expert" about the time he defended MSNBC host Joy Reid’s hilariously absurd assertion that time traveling cyber bandits had hacked her personal blog and retrospectively uploaded homophobic articles bearing her byline.

When Reid alleged in 2018 that she had been the victim of a far-reaching cyber conspiracy, Nance rushed to her assistance, tweeting, "Clearly there is a Discredit & Humiliate campaign afoot. Apparently all progressives are secretly anti-gay bloggers. This has Wikileaks & AltRight written all over it. Expect more."

Chotiner, who has a gift for gutting his subjects with their own words, asked Nance, "Do you stand by this?"

The MSNBC contributor responded:

Man's body identified in murder case in Al-Abyar town east of Benghazi
[Libya Observer] A local source from Benghazi has confirmed that the mutilated body found in al-Abyar town east of Benghazi last Sunday belongs to "Faraj Khalafallah al-Furjani".

A relative of the dead man had explained that the victim was kidnapped from his home by two masked men riding a civilian car last Saturday evening.

"The men told him that they were officers of the internal security agency," the relative said.

He pointed out that the family had not received any information about his whereabouts or the reason for his abduction.

The victim's family demanded the authorities in the east to uncover the murder and prosecute the offenders.

Under the influence of gangs, the forensic report claimed that Faraj had drunk a substance that caused his death and skinned off his face.
I had one of those once, at a bar in Saigon. It wuz one of those "drink the first one and the second one's free" deals. Except for the part about dropping dead and my face scorching off, it wasn't that bad.

US delegation meets Haftar, warns him of Russia's intervention in Libya
[Libya Observer] The United States' Department of State said American officials met with Khalifa Haftar
...Self-proclaimed Field Marshal, served in the Libyan army under Muammar Qadaffy, and took part in the coup that brought Qadaffy to power in 1969. He became a prisoner of war in Chad in 1987. While held prisoner, he and his fellow officers formed a group hoping to overthrow Qadaffy, so it's kind of hard to describe him as a Qadaffy holdover. He was released around 1990 in a deal with the United States government and spent nearly two decades in the United States, gaining US citizenship. In 1993, while living in the United States, he was convicted in absentia of crimes against the Jamahiriya and sentenced to death. Haftar held a senior position in the anti-Qadaffy forces in the 2011 Libyan Civil War. In 2014 he was commander of the Libyan Army when the General National Congress (GNC) refused to give up power in accordance with its term of office. Haftar launched a campaign against the GNC and its Islamic fundamentalist allies. His campaign allowed elections to take place to replace the GNC, but then developed into a civil war. Guess you can't win them all...
on Sunday to discuss steps to achieve a suspension of hostilities and a political resolution to the Libyan conflict.

The US Department of State said in a statement that the officials underscored the United States’ full support for the illusory sovereignty and territorial integrity of Libya and expressed serious concern over Russia’s exploitation of the conflict at the expense of the Libyan people.

The American delegation included Deputy National Security Advisor for Middle Eastern and North African Affairs Victoria Coates, Ambassador to Libya Richard Norland, Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for International Affairs at the U.S. Department of Energy Matthew Zais, and USAFRICOM Deputy Director for Strategy, Engagement, and Programs Brigadier General Steven deMilliano.

"These frank discussions build on recent talks with Tripoli
...a confusing city, one end of which is located in Lebanon and the other end of which is the capital of Libya. Its chief distinction is being mentioned in the Marine Hymn...
-based officials (Delegation led by Interior Minister Fathi Bashagha and Foreign Minister Mohammed Sayala) aiming to establish a common basis for progress between the parties on the issues that divide them, in the context of moving toward a ceasefire." The statement said.

US news reports revealed earlier this month that Russian mercenaries linked to Wagner Group are fighting on the ground for Haftar's forces on Tripoli outskirts and elsewhere.

Likewise, the UN envoy to Libya Ghassan Salame referred in his recent briefing at the Security Council to the presence of fighters from private military firms on the frontlines in southern Tripoli, warning that direct effects of the foreign intervention in Libya has become very clear.

Afghanistan
Ghani slams Afghan spy agency over handling of child abuse claims
[DAWN] Afghanistan's Caped President Ashraf Ghani
...former chancellor of Kabul University, now president of Afghanistan. Before returning to Afghanistan in 2002 he was a scholar of political science and anthropology. He worked at the World Bank working on international development assistance. As Finance Minister of Afghanistan between July 2002 and December 2004, he led Afghanistan's attempted economic recovery until the Karzais stole all the money...
on Tuesday hit out at his own intelligence agency for detaining two activists who broke the story of an alleged massive paedophile ring operating in the country’s schools.

Ghani said he was "deeply disturbed about the recent reports on sexual abuse" in six schools in Pashtun-infested Logar province bordering Kabul, which were brought to light by a youth social worker, Musa Mahmudi.

Mahmudi told Britannia’s Guardian newspaper this month that at least 546 boys had been allegedly abused by a paedophile ring involving teachers and local officials ‐ allegations that sparked national outrage.

But Mahmudi and a colleague, Ehsanullah Hamidi, were arrested last week on suspicion of threatening public order, the National Directorate of Security
...the Afghan national intel agency...
(NDS) said on Tuesday.

The NDS said Mahmudi’s claims were part of a scheme aimed at securing asylum in a foreign country, blasting the report as "baseless" and predicated on "unfounded allegations."

The Afghan spy agency also released a video of Mahmudi appearing to retract his account. However,
if you can't say something nice about a person some juicy gossip will go well...
it was not clear if he was speaking under duress.

But Ghani ordered the NDS to "stop the proceedings." "The protection of civil society and human rights
...which are usually entirely different from personal liberty...
defenders is the sole responsibility of the security forces," the president said in a series of tweets.

Presidential front man Sediq Sediqqi said Ghani had ordered that the activists be handed over to the interior ministry for their "protection."

Home Front: Politix
The Bidens don't get a free pass
[WASHINGTONEXAMINER] Despite the best efforts of the media, the underlying facts in the current impeachment effort must not go unnoticed. While Joe Foreign Policy Whiz Kid Biden
...The former Senator-for-Life from Delaware, an example of the kind of top-notch Washington intellect to be found in the World's Greatest Deliberative Body...
was the sitting vice president, his son, Hunter Biden, received a very lucrative job as a board member of a corrupt Ukrainian natural gas company, despite not having any expertise in this area.

During the time of Hunter’s employment, the activities of the company were investigated for corruption by the Ukrainian government. Joe Biden used his political power to threaten to withhold billions of dollars from the Ukrainian government if they did not fire the prosecutor who was, as it happened, investigating the allegedly corrupt company that had hired Hunter.

These are the hard and true facts, and they speak to the only quid pro quo we are certain of in this entire spectacle. There are even video tapes of Joe Biden bragging about the deal he made with the Ukrainians to get this prosecutor fired.

Are these facts beyond investigation because Biden is a Democratic candidate for president? Should the Trump administration ignore his blatant quid pro quo because Hunter Biden has some kind of special privilege that no other American citizen possesses ‐ the "my dad is the vice president" privilege?

Currently, Democrats in Congress are attempting to impeach Trump because he suggested that the Biden father-son duo’s corrupt deal with Ukraine be investigated. They are using the "my dad is veep" privilege as a partisan weapon. They are asserting, or at least implying, that people in the political class can’t be investigated for wrongdoing.

However,
there's more than one way to stuff a chicken...
any investigation into a political candidate can be viewed as "politically motivated" when the investigation comes from the other side of the political aisle. That fact cannot and should not be the determining factor in whether an investigation takes place. The real question should be, "Is the inquiry about this candidate a legitimate one?"

Criminal law is clear about this question. Subjective motivations are irrelevant. The court only considers whether there was a legitimate objective reason to believe criminal conduct occurred.

Was there a legitimate and objective reason to believe Hunter Biden was engaged in corruption and his father ‐ in his official capacity as the vice president ‐ threatened foreign officials in order to stop the investigation into his son? If you are objective, the answer to that question is very clear.

It's a nice thought, but given that so many in the GOP were active participants in the malfeasance, I don't hold much hope for more than a token culling.

For example, ever wonder why there's never been a serious look into the attacks on the Tea Party movement?

It's because McCain, Graham, Boehner and Ryan were pushing those attacks as much as the Dems were.

#11  The question I have is: why did the Obama administration want to give this money, (and much larger numbers have been bandied about) to the government of Ukraine?
The claim has been made that that government was terribly corrupt, and the money was given as loan guarantees, which does not give us the ability to monitor what the loans were, and where the loan money went. This is very different from javelins that Trump delivered, that had the immediate effect of cutting down on the fighting.
What was the quid for that quo, or quo for that quid?
It has been claimed that much of that money filtered to corrupt entities (Government cronies including the head of Burisma). If so, did some of that filter back to parties in this country?
Was there another motivation for bathing the corrupt government in cash?
Of course no one can rationally believe in any story one sees anywhere from anyone these days, so the assumptions here may be all wet.
But Biden is on record for claiming most of this himself.

Pope to list nuclear weapons as immoral in Catholic manual
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Pope Francis
...Argentine liberation theologist, born Jorge Mario Bergoglio. He was elected pope in 2013. Rather than setting up shop in Avignon, where he belongs, the first Jesuit Pope chose to reside in the Domus Sanctae Marthae guesthouse instead of the papal apartments. He is big on climate change, against consumerism, and in favor of throwing a blanket over homosexual activity within the clergy. He's not real sure about the Resurrection, about Christ's divinity, and a few other things that would have gotten him burned at the stake a few hundred years ago, but he's hot for a certain South American Earth Mother Goddess...
announced on Tuesday he would declare the use and possession of nuclear weapons "immoral" in the Catholic Church’s official manual, after visiting the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki where atomic bombs were dropped during World War II.

The cities are the only areas to have been targeted by nuclear weapons, the 1945 attacks by the United States killing 224,000 people.

The catechism is the church’s official instruction book, which summarizes the principles of the faith.

"I have said that the use of nuclear weapons is immoral," the pontiff told news hounds during his flight back to Rome.

"This must go into the catechism of the Catholic Church, not just use but also possession," he said, adding that "a government’s madness can destroy humanity."

US Rep Ilhan Omar denies she is a Qatari agent
Responding to this story from yesterday. See also this Twitter thread on the subject.
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] US Congresswoman Ilhan Omar
...Somali-American Dem representative from Minnesota. She is apparently married to her brother and may be her own grandmaw on her mother's side...
has denied accusations made in a US District Court that she was recruited by a foreign government, passed sensitive information that was relayed to Iran, and received funding by a foreign government.

In explosive testimony made by video link from Toronto, Canada to a Florida District Court on October 23, Canadian businessman Alan Bender alleged that Omar was the "jewel in the crown" of an illicit campaign by Qatar
...an emirate on the east coast of the Arabian Peninsula. It sits on some really productive gas and oil deposits, which produces the highest per capita income in the world. They piss it all away on religion, financing the Moslem Brotherhood and several al-Qaeda affiliates. Home of nutbag holy manYusuf al-Qaradawi...
to gain influence over the US government. The sworn deposition was obtained exclusively by Al Arabiya English.
Perhaps she would like to deny that under oath?
"The only people Rep. Omar represents in Washington are the people of Minnesota’s 5th District," said Omar in a statement sent to a regional news outlet. Her office did not respond to Al Arabiya English’s request for comment.

In the deposition, Bender alleges that he met Qatar’s Secretary to the Emir for Security Affairs Mohammad bin Ahmed bin Abdullah al-Masnad and two other senior Qatari officials who claimed that Qatar "recruited Ilhan Omar from even way before she thought about becoming a government official ... They groomed her and arranged the foundation, the grounds, for her to get into politics way before she even showed interest. They convinced her."

The deposition was authenticated by the attorney for the plaintiff, The Castaneda Law Firm, based in Tampa, Florida. In the response from Omar, her office called the story "outlandishly absurd" and accused Al Arabiya English of targeting her with "misinformation and conspiracy theories."

Melania Trump defends rights of Baltimore teens to boo her
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Melania Trump on Tuesday defended the rights of teenagers who booed her when she addressed them in Baltimore, a city her husband, President Donald Trump
...the Nailer of NAFTA...
, has disparaged as "rat and rodent infested."
and Feral Youts
She traveled there to urge hundreds of middle and high school students to avoid misusing drugs, saying that would make it harder for them to achieve their life’s goals. But her remarks drew a mix of boos and cheers, and the audience remained noisy throughout her five-minute address.

It is highly unusual for a first lady to be booed at a public appearance. Mrs. Trump released a statement hours after she had returned to the White House, defending the principle of freedom of expression while reaffirming her commitment to the issue that drew her to Baltimore.

"We live in a democracy and everyone is entitled to their opinion, but the fact is we have a serious crisis in our country and I remain committed to educating children on the dangers and deadly consequences of drug abuse," Mrs. Trump said.

Powerful quake kills 21 in Albania as buildings bury residents
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] At least 21 people were killed when the most powerful earthquake to strike Albania in decades shook the capital Tirana and the country’s west and north on Tuesday, tearing down buildings and burying residents under rubble.

Residents, some carrying babies, fled apartment buildings in Tirana and the western port of Durres after the 6.4 magnitude quake struck shortly before 4 a.m. (0300 GMT).

The Balkan country was jolted by 100 aftershocks after the main tremor, two of them of magnitude 5, testing strained nerves.

In the northern town of Thumane, Marjana Gjoka, 48, was sleeping in her apartment on the fourth floor of a five-storey building when the quake shattered the top of the building.

“The roof collapsed on our head and I don’t know how we escaped. God helped us,” said Gjoka, whose three-year-old niece was among four people in the apartment when the quake struck.

The quake was centered 30 km (19 miles) west of Tirana, the US Geological Survey (USGS) said, and was also felt across the Balkans and in the southern Italian region of Puglia.

Thousands displaced by Nigeria ‘bandit’ attacks
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Thousands of villagers have been displaced following days of attacks by armed "bandidos" on 10 remote communities in central Nigeria, emergency services said Tuesday.

Gunmen on cycle of violences stormed into a string of villages in the Shiroro district of Niger state from Friday to Monday, shooting and torching homes and forcing residents to flee.

"We have so far documented 4,000 people displaced by the bandidos," Niger State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) front man Ibrahim Audu Hussein told AFP.

"The IDPs (internally displaced persons) are sheltered in a camp in nearby Kuta district," said Hussein, warning the number could increase as more people were arriving at the camp.

Emergency workers were yet to deploy to the affected communities as the assailants were still in the villages, he said.

"We don’t have casualty details because the area is still too dangerous for our men to enter," Hussein said.

"We are waiting for security clearance to go and evacuate casualties if there are any."

Attacks by armed gangs -- called "bandidos" by the authorities -- have been widespread in central and northwestern Nigeria.

In June at least 40 people were killed when button men raided eight communities in Shiroro district, stealing livestock and burning homes.

The attackers are believed to launch attacks from Rugu forest which straddles Zamfara, Katsina, Kaduna and Niger states.

Authorities in several states have tamped down the violence by offering peace talks and an amnesty.

Syrian refugees to have a ‘warm and safe’ winter in the Kurdistan Region: UNHCR
[Rudaw] As winter approaches, the United Nations
...an organization conceived in the belief that we're just one big happy world, with the sort of results you'd expect from such nonsense...
has pledged to provide a "warm and safe" winter for the thousands who have fled to the Kurdistan Region following unrest in Syria.

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) spokesperson Firas al-Khateeb told Rudaw late Friday that camps housing the displaced are "equipped with electricity, water, medical care, psychosocial support, and core relief items needed for winter."

"The new Syrian refugees Kurdistan are stating that there are strict security controls at the border inside Syria not allowing people to flee," read JCC’s November report on refugees and IDPs. "They have paid smugglers inside Syria around USD 250 USD per person to help them reach the border."
Temperatures regularly drop below freezing during winter in the Kurdistan Region. The harsh weather disproportionately affects refugees and IDPs, with tents destroyed by flooding and torn apart by the cold.

"In addition to shelter, we provide them with a winter kit, insulation mats, high-thermal blankets, and kerosene heaters to ensure they are warm and safe for winter," added al-Khateeb.

There are nearly 232,000 Syrian refugees, mostly Kurds, in the Kurdistan Region who have fled Syrian unrest since 2011, including the recent Ottoman Turkish invasion of northern Syria, according to the Kurdistan Region’s Joint Crisis Coordination Centre (JCC).

According to figures obtained from both the UNHCR’s spokesperson and the JCC, nearly 16,000 Syrian refugees have entered the the Kurdistan Region since The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...Qatar's satrapy in Asia Minor...
launched Operation Peace Spring against the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in northern Syria on October 9.

Since the incursion began, several camps in the Kurdistan Region have been reopened, with more Syrians now facing another winter in tents.

The operation continues despite Turkey’s ceasefire deals with the US and Russia.

UNHCR said in a Friday statement that they need $222 million "to provide timely assistance to all those in need through its winterization programme, which covers the period from September 2019 to March 2020."

He added that they are optimistic they will receive the funds from donors, and the private sector. These people "always give when we ask for appeals, especially for the winter and Ramadan and other occasions," he said.

"Hopefully, we will provide them with what they need for a warm and safe winter," he added.

Most of the Syrian refugees who have recently entered the Kurdistan Region arrived through informal border crossings at Sehela and al-Walid village, according to the JCC.

This is partly due to Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) restricting the number of people crossing the border.

"The new Syrian refugees Kurdistan are stating that there are strict security controls at the border inside Syria not allowing people to flee," read JCC’s November report on refugees and IDPs.

"They have paid smugglers inside Syria around USD 250 USD per person to help them reach the border," it added.

HJC Chairman Nadler Attempts to Reframe ‘Impeachment Inquiry’
[THECONSERVATIVETREEHOUSE] House Judiciary Committee (HJC) Chairman Jerry
"The Hutt"
Nadler, together with Lawfare contracted impeachment agents Barry Berke and Norm Eisen, are attempting to reframe a collapsing impeachment and pull-in White House participation.

Chairman Nadler has announced a December 4th hearing with a panel of democrat selected constitutional lawyers and legal ’experts’, to discuss the procedural framework of an impeachment process. As Nadler states: "Our first task is to explore the framework put in place to respond to serious allegations of impeachable misconduct". So the HJC initial objective to build their narrative is to explain what the impeachment process is about.

This is transparently an attempt by Nadler/Lawfare to give legitimacy to an illegitimate political exercise. The hearing purpose is framed as a trap to pull the White House in, and thereby create the optics of constitutional legitimacy. Strong caution is advised and I would not be surprised to see the White House refuse to participate. Here’s why:

With the House investigative portion of resolution 660 complete, per Adam Schiff
...Showboating U.S. Representative for California's 28th congressional district since 2013. A member of the Democratic Party, Schiff has served in Congress since 2001. He currently serves as the chairman of the United States House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. In a manner reminiscent of Joe McCarthy, on March 22, 2017, in a interview with Chuck Todd on MSNBC Schiff claimed there was “more than circumstantial evidence now” that Donald Trump's campaign colluded with Russia." Todd followed up by asking if he had seen direct evidence of collusion and Schiff responded that there was "evidence that is not circumstantial and is very much worthy of investigation...
and a yet invisible report from the HPSCI committee submitted, either the House Judiciary should follow their own process or not. The White House and the minority have not even seen the one-sided report mandated by the House Impeachment Inquiry Resolution.

My advice to the White House would be to respond to Nadler’s letter by informing him the House "Impeachment Report" authorized by resolution 660 has not yet been delivered; therefore, without a basis for the HJC to consider the validity of the first phase, it would be presumptuous to engage in a second phase framework exercise without the origination material described by the House Democrats’ own procedure.

Iran protest death toll rises to at least 140: Amnesty International
[Rudaw] At least 140 people are believed to have been killed in five days of protests in Iran

Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
last week, according to updated figures released Monday by Amnesia Amnesty International.

Unrest sparked by a 300 percent hike in petrol prices on November 15 morphed into anti-government protest and caused havoc in the country for five days, spurring the authorities to order a vicious crackdown.

Iran ordered a virtual internet shutdown to prevent information and video footage of the protest from getting out of the country leaving human rights
...which are often intentionally defined so widely as to be meaningless...
organizations including Amnesty unable to reach the country for several days.

As authorities gradually reconnected the country to the web on Monday, Amnesty issued a short statement calling on Iranian people to provide information about the "bloody crackdown of protests" to the watchdog in order to hold the Iranian government accountable.

The organization revised its November 23-reported corpse count of 115 civilians.

"140+ Iranian protesters have been killed in 5 days. Iranian security forces shot unarmed people on streets, from rooftops & a helicopter. 1,000+ protesters have been arrested. The internet was blocked to stop the world from seeing this. Watch what's been happening in #Iran," Amnesty tweeted.

Monday’s updated tally coincided with huge rallies organised by the government and the paramilitary Basij to condemn the protesters and reaffirm their pledge to Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei
...the actual dictator of Iran, successor to Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini...
"Believe me, we are in the middle of a big world war and at this moment you are in the process of defeating the Arrogance and believe me the war that raged in our streets in recent days was a global conspiracy," Hossein Salami the commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps told the gathering in Tehran.

Salami then proceeded to threaten the United States, the United Kingdom and Soddy Arabia

EU operation deals 'severe blow' to Islamic State online propaganda
[Rudaw] Efforts by the Europe
...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum...
an Union to curb online terror propaganda have dealt a "severe blow" to the Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
group's online presence, according to European officials.

Taking place from November 21-24, an operation coordinated by European police agency Europol removed 26,000 Islamic State (ISIS)-related pieces of content from the web, including videos and profiles of fighters, according to AFP.

More than 40,000 foreign nationals flocked to Iraq and Syria to join ISIS during their bloody reign which ended in Raqqa earlier this year. Social media propaganda drives have played a key part in recruiting new members of the terror group, and channels are updated on a regular basis.

The group also used online platforms to boost their slave trade of Yezidi women, who were sold for as little as $5 on Facebook and Telegram.

"ISIS is not present on the internet anymore and we will see how fast, if ever, they will regain service," Belgian Federal Prosecutor Eric van der Sypt told news hounds on Monday.

The operation aimed to remove "everything" related to the Islamic State, he added.

A joint operation by the US, EU and Canada forced the terror group to rely further on online messaging after seizing a number of its servers in spring 2018.

This is not the first time Europe has targeted the group’s online presence, and der Sypt remained optimistic but cautious.

We've knocked them down for the moment... but we're not naive. A first cyberattack in 2018 didn't stop them from bouncing back," he told AFP.

Spanish police have also arrested a man suspected to be one of the "main distributors" of online bully boy content, the outlet reported.

Belgian authorities sparked the operation following an investigation into Amaq, the ISIS propaganda outlet.

The country has been at the epicenter of IS attacks in Europe, following a double suicide kaboom in March 2016 that left over 30 people dead. The attacks were said to be retribution for La Belle France’s capture of Salah Abdeslam, a Belgian-born French national who is the sole surviving perpetrator of the deadly 2015 Gay Paree terror attacks.

Telegram emerged as the main source of offending material, and a "significant" number of key actors were removed from the service, according to Van der Sypt.

Twitter previously reported that it suspended 1.2 million accounts spreading terrorist content over a three-year period.

However,
facts are stubborn; statistics are more pliable...
Facebook has not been as vigilant.

A 2018 report by the Counter Extremism Project highlighted the failures of social media outlets, namely Facebook, in removing ISIS-affiliated material.

The project accused Facebook of failing to "effectively prevent ISIS’ extensive misuse of the platform," and added that terror content remained "pervasive" on the site.

Of 1,000 ISIS profiles it observed, only 430 (43 percent) had been removed by Facebook by the end of the six-month research period.

"Perhaps most concerning is that Facebook’s suggested friends algorithm, which recommended IS supporters, propagandists, and even fighters as suggested friends, reveals how the company’s tools have aided in connecting bully boy profiles and help expand IS networks," it added.

Palestinian prisoner held in Israel dies after cancer battle, 77 wounded in clashes with IDF
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] A Paleostinian prisoner died Tuesday in Israeli custody after battling cancer, Israel’s prisons service said, ahead of demonstrations in the West Bank planned before his death.

The protests, dubbed a "day of rage" by organizers, are against the US announcement last week that it no longer considers Israeli settlements in the West Bank to be a violation of international law, reversing four decades of American policy. The protests were also set to call for Sami Abu Diak’s release.

In a statement, the prisons service said Abu Diak, 35, died in an Israeli hospital early Tuesday. The statement said he was serving three life sentences for voluntary manslaughter and kidnapping, among other charges.

Abu Diak was linked to the armed wing of the Paleostinian Fatah faction and was arrested in the early 2000s, during the second Paleostinian intifada, or uprising. He was allegedly involved in the killing of three Paleostinians accused of collaborating with Israeli security forces.

The Paleostinian Authority and Abu Diak’s family had asked for his release to allow him to die at his family’s side, but Israeli officials denied the request. The Paleostinians also reached out to Europe

The Times of Israel adds:
Thousands of Palestinians demonstrated across the West Bank on Tuesday to protest the recent US announcement that it no longer believes Israeli settlements in the West Bank violate international law. As the so-called “day of rage” continued, groups of protesters clashed with Israeli security forces in several flashpoints, with 77 reported lightly injured.

Around two thousand people gathered in the West Bank city of Ramallah. They set ablaze posters of US President Donald Trump as well as Israeli and American flags. Schools, universities and government offices were shuttered and rallies were held in city centers around the West Bank.

“The biased American policy toward Israel, and the American support of the Israeli settlements and the Israeli occupation, leaves us with only one option: To go back to resistance,” Mahmoud Aloul, an official with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas’s Fatah movement, told the crowd in Ramallah.

Demonstrators held signs reading: “TruAt Israeli checkpoints near Ramallah, Bethlehem and Hebron, dozens of protesters threw stones at Israeli forces who responded with tear gas.

Dozens of protesters were lightly hurt, according to Palestinian rescue services.

According to the Ma’an news agency, the Palestinian Red Crescent said it dealt with 77 injuries, which included tear gas inhalation, rubber bullet wounds and burns.mp to impeachment, [Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu to jail, the occupation will go and we will remain on our land.”

The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan, the abbreviation IRGC is a cognate form of Stürmabteilung (or SA), the term Supreme Guide is a cognate form of either Shah or Führer or maybe both, and they hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
has frozen the assets of "key" Iran International staff for the news channel’s coverage of the recent anti-government protests in the country, the Iranian judiciary’s news agency Mizan reported on Tuesday.

Launched in 2017, Iran International is a London-based, Persian-language news channel.

Mizan accused Iran International of planning terrorist attacks, attempting to overthrow the regime, and encouraging "thugs" to destroy public property.

"On this basis, Iran has imposed legal restrictions on key and effective" members of Iran International in regard to their assets in their home country," added Mizan.

Iran International says that since anti-government protests began in Iran, families of its staff in the country have been subject to harassment from Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence.

Iran International had protested what it described as "illegal and inhumane behaviour" towards the families of its staff in Iran and said that it will pursue a complaint against the Iranian regime through international bodies in a recent statement.

The statement said that in some cases, relatives of Iran International staff were taken off the streets and from their workplace by agents of the Ministry of Intelligence and told to contact Iran International staff and tell them to stop working with the news channel.

Iran International says the families of its staff in Iran are being targeted due to the channel’s coverage of the anti-government protests in the country - coverage that drew "millions of viewers" in Iran, according to the channel.

Relatives of Iran International staff in Iran are "innocent and have no control over their loved ones who work in the media abroad and should not be held hostage," reads another part of the statement.

Protests in Iran began on November 15 in several towns after the government announced gasoline price hikes of at least 50 percent. They spread to 100 cities and towns and quickly turned political with protesters demanding brass hats step down.

The Iranian government responded by shutting down the internet and with lethal force.

This is not the first time Iran has resorted to harassing the staff Persian-language media outlets abroad.

In August 2017, Iran froze the assets of more than 150 BBC Persian staff in Iran.

-Lurid Crime Tales-
Florida Mon In Van Guns Down AK-47 Wielding Robber Because He Didn’t Want ‘To Go Out Like A Punk’
[MIAMI.CBSLOCAL] A 60-Year-old Miami man said he was forced to shoot and kill a gunman who had broken in to his van early Monday morning in an attempt to rob him of his jewelry.

"The guy I killed last night, he put an AK-47 to my damn face," said Donovan Stewart.

Stewart told CBS4’S Peter D’Oench that he had to act quickly because he was worried about the safety of his 11-year-old son and girlfriend who were in the van with him.

"I am from Kingstontown in Jamaica," he said, "and I am not going to go out like a punk. So I emptied my Glock in his chest. This man tried to get in my van while I was sleeping and he was surprised to see what I did."

He demonstrated what he did for CBS4.

"Well, he opened the door like this and pointed his AK-47 and I reached around like this and got my gun. That is how I did this to him," he said.

"So I thought you are you going to kill me so now I have to act quickly because I am trained," he said. "You know I have a security license, I have a G license and I have a state firearms license and a concealed weapons permit and I have a gun and I am a member of the NRA."

"I am going to defend my life and those I love," he said. "My family is innocent and just don’t put an AK-47 in my face. I will not allow that to happen. This guy also hijacked a woman in a van and was found with her car key. He robbed another woman at gunpoint."

"You want to come looking for trouble," he said. "Come to me. Come to me. I wouldn’t do anything like this to anybody and they picked the wrong person in this case.

US House judiciary panel to hold first impeachment hearing on Dec. 4
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] The US House of Representatives Judiciary Committee will hold its first hearing in the impeachment of President Donald Trump
...New York real estate developer, described by Dems as illiterate, racist, misogynistic, and what ever other unpleasant descriptions they can think of, elected by the rest of us as 45th President of the United States...
on December 4, with legal experts as witnesses, a Democratic aide said.

The aide declined comment on whether the Judiciary Committee expected it would have a report on the Intelligence Committee-led investigation into the Trump administration’s dealings with Ukraine before the hearing.

Last Thursday, top White House officials and six Republican senators met to discuss strategy for a possible Senate impeachment trial.

One Senate GOP aide said participants expressed more interest in voting as soon as they have 51 votes to acquit Trump than in setting a specific timetable.

Car bomb kills 17 people in the Turkey-controlled region of Syria
[TWITTER]
The attack took place in the Tal Halaf village west of the city of Ras al-Ayn, which is now controlled by the Turkish military after its offensive in October, the ministry said on its official Twitter account, blaming Syrian Kurdish fighters.
Rudaw adds:
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a Britain-based war monitor, confirmed the attack and the death toll.

“Most of those killed were pro-Turkish factions,” it said. “The car bomb targeted a gathering near a market of the town of Tel Halaf.”

Fighting is ongoing in Ain Issa and Tel Tamr between Turkish-backed factions and the SDF.

The Syrian Observatory also confirmed Tuesday’s blast in downtown Afrin.

“The explosion injured at least eight people and caused material damage,” the war monitor said, reporting the blast took place on al-Siyasiyyeh Street in the middle of the city.

Afrin has been held by Turkish-backed militia groups as part of the Olive Branch Operation since March 2018.

Report cites pilot error in 2016 Flydubai plane crash in Russia
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Pilot error and possible crew disorientation during bad weather at night led to the fatal 2016 crash of a Flydubai passenger jet in Russia, Russia’s Interstate Aviation Committee said in a report issued on Tuesday.

The Boeing 737-800 from Dubai, operated by the Dubai-based budget carrier Flydubai, came down in the early hours of March 19, 2016 at Rostov-on-Don airport in southern Russia after aborting a second landing attempt in high winds.

All 62 people on board died.

"The fatal air accident...occurred during the second go-around, due to an incorrect aircraft configuration and crew piloting (and) the subsequent loss of the (commanding pilot’s) situational awareness at night-time," the report said.

It said bad weather including treacherous gusts known as wind shear were also factors.

"This resulted in a loss of control of the aircraft and its impact with the ground," it said.

The Boeing 737 was being flown by the captain at the time of the crash. Both crew were relatively experienced.

Addressing one of the most publicized concerns after the crash, the report said the pilots had had enough pre-flight rest, but that the possible "operational" tiredness of the crew as the flight progressed may have been a contributing factor.

[BREITBART] Sen. Elizabeth Being Native American has been part of my story since the day I was born Warren
...Dem Senatrix from Massachussetts, who traces her noble lineage all the way back to Big Chief Spouting Bull. It has been alleged that she speaks with forked tongue but she denies that. She had a DNA test to prove her lineage and it turns out she's colorless...
(D-MA) on Monday floated the possibility of an all-woman ticket if she wins the Democrat Party’s presidential nomination in 2020.

While campaigning in Altoona, Iowa, Warren was asked if she plans on selecting a woman as her running mate.

"It would be entirely presumptuous of me to talk about running mates," the Massachusetts senator replied, before adding: "But I gotta say ‐ why wouldn’t I have a woman for a running mate?"

However, he can take out "Hate the Billionaires" Warren and Sanders. The Deep Money are not going to back either of those two who've openly scream to steal as much of their assets as possible. It's a matter of self protection. They will bankroll Bloomberg to keep control of the party and out of the hands of the radical Left. Given how the money establishment has already organized the black funding system, it should be no problem.

10 Lebanese hurt in clashes between supporters of Aoun, Kateb
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Clashes erupted on Tuesday between supporters of the Free Patriotic Movement
Despite its name a Christian party allied with Hizbullah, neither free nor particularly patriotic...
(FPM) and supporters of the Kataeb Party in the town of Bikfaya, near the residence of former President Amine Gemayel, in Mount Leb.

The festivities started when a convoy of President Michel Aoun
...president of Leb, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hizbullah...
’s Free Patriotic Movement supporters attempted to drive through the area which is historically known as a stronghold of the Gemayel family.

According to local Lebanese media the Army intervened to push back local residents as the convoy of the FPM supporters was trying to drive through and supporters of the Kataeb started criticizing President Aoun.

The Lebanese Red Thingy reported that 10 people were maimed in the festivities, five were transferred to a hospital for treatment.

Leb’s Defense Minister Elias Bou Saab told a local Lebanese TV that the scuffle was unfortunate, and that Lebanese people should rely on the army.

Earlier in the day, supporters of Shia groups Hezbollah and Amal attacked anti-government protesters in a public square in Baalbek city, east of Leb, destroying tents used as a gathering place by the protesters and chanting religious slogans.

Gun shots were also had gun sex from a convoy of cars carrying Hezbollah flag, resulting in injuries to 15 people.

Late on Monday night, festivities erupted between supporters of Leb’s caretaker Prime Minister Saad Hariri
...Second son of Rafik Hariri, the Leb PM who was assassinated in 2005. He has was prime minister in his own right from 2009 through early 2011. He was born in Riyadh to an Iraqi mother and graduated from Georgetown University. He managed his father's business interests in Riyadh until his father's assassination. When his father died he inherited a fortune of some $4.1 billion, which won't do him much good if Hizbullah has him bumped off, too....
, and Shia groups Hezbollah and Amal in Beirut, state news agency NNA reported.

The festivities marked the second consecutive night of violence linked to Leb’s political crisis, threatening to tip largely peaceful demonstrations directed at the country’s ruling elite in a more bloody direction.

Denmark withdraws passports from two foreign fighters
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Denmark’s government has withdrawn the Danish passports of two men who joined ISIS - the first such cases since a new law was passed last month.

Denmark's immigration minister, Mattias Tesfaye, said Tuesday his ministry is looking into a total of four cases "where two have had their citizenship withdrawn."

The lawyer for one of the men - a 25-year-old man with dual Ottoman Turkish citizenship who is wanted by Denmark - said she learned about the decision Monday and informed her client, whose location is not known.

Mette Grith Stage told Danish media she would bring the ruling before Danish courts. The man reportedly joined the group in September 2013. He cannot be identified due to a court order. No information was given about the second man.

On Oct. 24, Danish politicians voted in favor of a law allowing the withdrawal of Danish citizenship from imported muscle with dual citizenship without courts being asked.
