I found the following bio on her findagrave.com memorial site:
Folk Figure. Born Norma Des Cygne Smallwood, she was a full blood Cherokee Indian from Tulsa, Oklahoma. While as a student at Oklahoma State University, she entered the Miss America Pageant in 1926 and was crowned the first Native American to win the title. During the year of her reign, she had an acute business sense demanding a fee for appearances. She reportedly made over $100,000, more than either Babe Ruth or the President of the United States. She was later married to George H. Bruce, President of the Aladdin Petroleum Corporation.

What a dreadfully racist country America is, to be sure, for electing a pureblood Cherokee the most beautiful woman in the country... in 1926.

Skid, there are millions of kids in Michigan who have access to firearms who don't go on shooting rampages.
Odds are this kid was well-known to school and police, they had on-record warnings about him, and they ignored the warnings to make their numbers look better.

I am reminded of the story someone shared here some years ago, of a married Afghan couple who went to the doctor to find out why the wife of several months had not got pregnant. Apparently the doctor brought out the anatomy model and explained the mechanics, shocking the husband, who hadn’t realized there was a second option.
[The Week] "For most of 2021, the world has been fighting off various COVID variants," Trevor Noah said on Monday's Daily Show. And just when we thought we were getting Delta under control, "last week scientists in South Africa announced that they discovered a new variant, and what they saw is freaking people out."
The big concern about the Omicron variant is the alarming number of mutations to its spike protein, Noah said, but "right now, basically all we know about this strain is that it's called Omicron," and "even the name of the virus has a complicated story." The World Health Organization skipped Nu and Xi to get to Omicron, he said, and passing over Xi in particular "really shows you the clout that China has. Because the World Health Organization is like, 'Uh, we don't want to offend one guy in China.' Meanwhile, Greece is over here, like, 'What?!? You stole our whole alphabet, malaka!'"
And even though it will be a week or two before we know how contagious and dangerous Omicron is, the U.S. and other countries wasted no time banning travel from South Africa and seven neighboring countries. "And as a South African — who does not have the variant! — I think this travel ban is total bulls--t," Noah said. We don't know where Omicron started, and "we don't know how long it's been around. It's everywhere, from Hong Kong to Israel to Spain, so why aren't you banning travel from all those countries, too?"
"Maybe America is buying itself a couple of weeks before it gets overrun with Omicron, but don't forget about the costs of this action," Noah said. "Because you do realize that other countries are paying attention, and they realize that if they're going to get punished for telling the world about new variants, they're gonna stop telling the world whenever their scientists discover new variants."
[South China Morning Post] Jeffrey Epstein’s long-time pilot testified on Tuesday at the sex trafficking trial of Ghislaine Maxwell that he recalled flying Prince Andrew, Bill Clinton and Donald Trump on the late financier’s private planes.
Lawrence Visoski, who worked for Epstein for nearly 30 years, said he was told when VIPs would be aboard because "you’d want to make sure the plane looked nice".
Besides Clinton, Prince Andrew and Trump, Visoski said he also recalled flying the actor Kevin Spacey.
Maxwell, the 59-year-old daughter of the late newspaper baron Robert Maxwell, is accused of procuring underage girls who were sexually exploited by Epstein.

Blocked from facts and truth, under constant surveillance, surrounded by a hostile alien police force: Xinjiang’s Uyghur population has become cursed, oppressed, outcast. Most citizens cannot discern between enemy and friend. Social trust has been destroyed systematically. Friends betray each other, bosses snitch on employees, teachers expose their students, and children turn on their parents. Everyone is dependent on a government that nonetheless treats them with suspicion and contempt. Welcome to the Perfect Police State.
Using the haunting story of one young woman’s attempt to escape the vicious technological dystopia, his own reporting from Xinjiang, and extensive firsthand testimony from exiles, Geoffrey Cain reveals the extraordinary intrusiveness and power of the tech surveillance giants and the chilling implications for all our futures.
[Just The News] Five years ago, the U.S. Department of Education approved a grant application for a summer research program whose "core feature" was introducing student fellows to "critical race theory."
The feds approved a five-year extension of the original grant for the Research Institute for Scholars of Equity (RISE) this year, with one notable and unexplained omission: the term "critical race theory."
The change suggests promoters of CRT are shying away from using the term as it becomes more politically charged. This summer, the U.S. Senate approved an amendment to the budget reconciliation bill that would ban federal funding for the teaching of CRT in schools.
The 2016 version says students will use "critical race theory (as well as mixed-methods research techniques) as a means of studying issues such as teacher quality, education policy, and race and social justice in education." The 2021 version simply mentions "mixed-methods research techniques."
A new sentence may be intended to surreptitiously refer to CRT: "During this institute, fellows study the sociocultural contexts of American schooling and learn how to formulate culturally competent research questions."

[IsraelTimes] A former member of the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems.... group was convicted by a German court on Tuesday of genocide and committing a war crime over the death of a 5-year-old Yazidi girl he had purchased as a slave and then chained up in the hot sun to die.
The Frankfurt regional court sentenced Taha al-J.,
...more fully Taha al-Jumailly, and beyond that Taha Sabah Noori al-Jumailly. The ISIS fighter and member of the morals police was arrested in Greece in May 2019, then extradited to Germany...
an Iraqi citizen whose full last name wasn’t released because of privacy rules, to life imprisonment and ordered him to pay the girl’s mother 50,000 euros ($57,000).
German news agency dpa quoted the presiding judge, Christoph Koller, saying it was the first conviction worldwide over a person’s role in the systematic persecution by IS of the Yazidi religious minority.
According to German prosecutors, al-J. bought a Yazidi woman and her 5-year-old daughter as slaves at an IS base in Syria in 2015. The two had been taken as prisoners by the gunnies in northern Iraq at the beginning of August 2014 and had been "sold and resold several times as slaves" by the group already.
The defendant took the woman and her daughter to his household in the Iraqi city of Fallujah and forced them to "keep house and to live according to strict Islamic rules," while giving them insufficient food and beating them regularly to punish them, according to the indictment.
The girl’s mother, who survived captivity, testified at both trials.
A MURDER TRIAL WITH NO BODY
The accident theory is supported by the fact that Taha A.-J. took the Yazidi girl directly to a local hospital. The defense has even cast doubt on whether the child had in fact died.
In May, citing an employee of the Fallujah hospital and a distant uncle of the defendant, the defense told the court that Rania had been cared for in the hospital for a week.
Then a man from IS is said to have taken her away. Today she lives in Idlib, in northern Syria, the defense says while admitting evidence of this is difficult to obtain.
...now 49, she was captured by ISIS in Iraq in 2014 with her three children, then sold for the first time with her daughter, whom their captors renamed Rania, in the ISIS slave market in Mosul while her sons were taken elsewhere...
who survived captivity, testified at the Frankfurt trial.
Yazidi activist Natia Navrouzov, who works as the legal advocacy director at multinational NGO Yazda, told DW the ruling was "truly historic" for recognizing the Yazidi genocide.
"So we really hope that this case will have a domino effect and that other countries will follow the example of Germany," she said.
"And we also wanted to tell countries that if they don't have the evidence, they can come to organizations such such as Yazda."
The organization was able to identify the surviving victim and put her in touch with the authorities in Germany, Navrouzov said.
According to United Nations estimates, 7000 Yazidi women and children were enslaved and sold by IS and many remain missing.
For Nora T., all that remains of her family is one son. She lives with him in a secret location in Germany, under a witness protection program, and is supported by human rights lawyer Amal Clooney and represented by German lawyer Natalie von Wistinghausen.
[2News Oklahoma] Members of the National Guard are at risk of losing pay if they fail to get vaccinated against COVID-19.
In a memo obtained by NBC News, unvaccinated members of the National Guard will not be able to participate in drills in training.
Non-participation would also result in a loss of credit for time served, NBC News reported.
The memo was in response to the governor of Oklahoma, who reportedly said the National Guard cannot force members to get the vaccine.
Military.com reports that that about 40% of the state's Army Guardsmen are vaccinated and 89% of its Air National Guard members are in compliance with the vaccine mandate.
The Army Guardsmen have until June 2022 to become compliant. The Air Force National Guard has a much sooner deadline. Members must show proof of vaccination by Thursday.

Why can’t states that “opt out” from federal mandates stop sending money to the federal coffers. Pick a single issue and sequester the money in an account pending the results of the inevitable lawsuit
#3
...USAF also announced yesterday that if you aren't vaccinated, you won't be allowed to transfer from one base to another or be promoted. On the one hand, that will pretty much guarantee 100% compliance at places like Minot and Grand Forks.
On the other hand, this will disrupt promotions and manning for years to come, even if they get 99.9% compliance tomorrow. In the late 90s, USAF tried to force all E5(SSgt) coming back from overseas tours during a certain time frame to become recruiters, probably the most destructive and corrosive career field in the service. They were told if they didn't want to job, they could get out, and Air Force sat back expecting just about 100% compliance. USAF has never revealed the exact number of people who refused an offer that they couldn't, but I have been reliably told it was north of 70% - and the months it took to sort things out (no one actually got thrown out but a bunch of critical mid-level supervisors and technicians were in limbo for about 6 months)caused a couple years of confusion. This mess will be far, far worse.

Qatar was contributing to the salaries of some 50,000 employees of the Hamas-run government up until the 11-day war in May by sending suitcases of cash into the territory through Israel. Israel’s new government, which was sworn in the following month, vowed to stop that arrangement.
Under the deal reached with Qatar and Egypt, the wealthy Gulf nation will send fuel to Gaza from Egypt that Hamas can resell in order to help cover payrolls, the official says, speaking on condition of anonymity ... for fear of being murdered... because of the diplomatic sensitivities around the agreement. Hamas civil servants have received irregular payments in lieu of full salaries for years due to a prolonged financial crisis. Even with the Qatari aid, most public workers only receive 55 percent of their paycheck at best.
[IsraelTimes] Security forces fire tear gas at anti-coup protesters in the Sudanese capital, as tens of thousands march in the latest demonstrations against a military takeover that took place last month.
Protesters take to the streets in Khartoum and other cities around the country to demand that the armed forces stay out of government.
Deposed Prime Minister Abdalla Hamdok was reinstated earlier this month under military oversight in a deal that many in the pro-democracy movement oppose. Since the generals seized power on Oct. 25 and rounded up more than 100 civilian government figures, protesters have repeatedly taken to the streets.
In a video streamed online from the Bahri neighborhood of Khartoum, a few protesters throw stones as security forces repeatedly fire tear gas and use sound bombs to try to disperse them.
Sudanese security forces have cracked down on the rallies and have killed some 43 protesters so far, according the Sudan Doctors’ Committee, which tracks protester deaths.
The group says that the latest death is that of a protester who died from hemorrhaging in the skull after being badly beaten by security forces during a march last week.

Those seeking get to get to the U.S. end up paying at least 1.5 million taka (U.S. $17,500) at different stages.
Ninety percent of those arrested come from one district in Bangladesh, said the letter from the diplomatic mission in Mexico City asking for advice from the Bangladeshi government. In Dhaka, home ministry officials who received it said they had been working to curb international human smuggling networks.
"You will find some desperate people (Bangladeshis) who resort to illegal means to go abroad at any cost. They always try to go to European countries and America. But, I think, their numbers have come down," Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal told BenarNews on Tuesday.

[Garowe] A cache of weapons was on Monday destroyed by National Intelligence Security Agency [NISA] officers within the Somali capital, Mogadishu, in the latest crackdown targeting al-Shabaab ...... al-Qaeda's tentacle in East Africa... Death Eaters in the Horn of Africa nation.
The weapons, authorities said, were unearthed during a planned operation by the sleuths, who had investigated the plan in Huriwaa District, north of the capital Mogadishu. The weapons were kept in a bunker, authorities added.
Dufaan, a military wing within the NISA team executed the operation, the best ever to be carried out in recent weeks. During the mission, three al-Shabaab Death Eaters were arrested and will soon be arraigned in court to respond to various issues.
Some of the weapons seized during the operation include mortar shells and drums which al-Shabaab commonly uses to make mortar bombs. The team targets civilians, security forces, and government officials with the bombs.
NISA officials said the operation was successful due to the cooperation extended by the community in flushing out the al-Shabaab krazed killers. The team vowed to lock al-Shabaab out of the country in the coming months.
"The NISA forces are always grateful to the Somali community for their continued cooperation with the National Intelligence Service," said a statement from NISA.
For the past several months, security forces have in the past unearthed al-Shabaab bunkers in various parts of the city with recent incidents in Elasha Biya on the southerly outskirts of Mogadishu. The capital has been one of the al-Shabaab targets in recent weeks.

Mission in Somalia (AMISOM), according to Abdi Ali Mohamud, a police officer in the city.
"A military base in Suuqa Hoolaha neighborhood in the city was also attacked by the snuffies and one soldier was killed and another maimed," he said.
"We don't know the exact number of people killed or injured in the airport attack," he said, adding that "we know a civilian was killed and several others were maimed."
A resident in the area, Haawo Ahmed Suleyman, told Anadolu Agency over the phone that the Somali National Army and al-Shabaab snuffies were engaged in a fierce firefight.
When Anadolu Agency contacted AMISOM officials, they refused to comment on the airport mortar attack.
Baidoa is a major city in South West State, located 243 kilometers (150 miles) southwest of the capital Mogadishu.
This has been the second attack since Baidoa's parliamentary elections began earlier this week.

[WASHINGTONTIMES] The Salvation Army said Monday it has withdrawn a discussion guide on racism that was intended for its church members but that an advocacy group claimed was given to donors as a call to "repent" for being White.
“If that document is getting in the way of the fulfillment of our mission, The Salvation Army is going to remove it," Commissioner Kenneth Hodder, the group’s U.S. national commander, told The Washington Times. "Because nothing can be allowed to affect the fulfillment of that critical mission."
The church group has been flooded by email complaints about repentance requests over its guide "Let’s Talk About Racism," one critic said. An online petition has garnered more than 14,000 signatures asking the organization to denounce Critical Race Theory

[BREITBART] Oklahoma state Sen. Nathan Dahm (R) filed "Kyle’s Law" last week to shield state residents from politically-driven prosecution in situations where they act in self-defense.
FOX23 reports the legislation, Senate Bill 1120, is designed to prevent residents from being forced to endure trials that are conducted for "political reasons."
Sen. Dahm noted if SB1120 becomes law it would also guarantee that "victims of malicious prosecution would be able to receive compensation for expenses and damages."
Dahm’s legislation is in response to the trial of Kyle Rittenhouse, the individual who two and killed two people—Anthony Huber and Joseph Rosenbaum—and maimed a third, Gaige Grosskreutz, in Kenosha, Wisconsin, on August 25, 2020. Rittenhouse claimed self-defense and the jury agree with him, acquitting him of all charges on November 19, 2021.
The trial was arduous on Rittenhouse, to say the least, and Sen. Dahm responded in a blurb, saying, "Kyle Rittenhouse should never have been charged."
He then transitioned to SB1120, adding, "It is our duty to protect the rights of the people we represent, and the right to self-defense is paramount. This bill will ensure that what happened to Kyle Rittenhouse cannot happen to the people of Oklahoma."

Must be election time again...
So many simply logical laws that had been removed by panty waists politicians for election. Now being "purposed" to be added back for election.
Wait for it..."Elect Me for ______."
[GEO.TV] The Chief Justice of Pakistain (CJP) Gulzar Ahmed on Tuesday questioned the military for conducting commercial activities on government land and said that the laws under which the army engages in commercial activities are "unconstitutional".The chief justice made the observation while hearing a case against commercial activities on cantonment land.
He asked how the army can even conduct commercial activities on state land.
Secretary Defence retired Lt Gen Mian Hilal appeared before the court today and presented a report which was declared "unsatisfactory" by the court.
During the hearing, the chief justice asked whether building cinemas, wedding halls, schools and houses fulfil any defence-related purposes.
The chief justice noted that all illegal buildings are being demolished in Bloody Karachi ...formerly the capital of Pakistain, now merely its most important port and financial center. It is among the largest cities in the world, with a population of 18 million, most of whom hate each other and many of whom are armed and dangerous... . He further noted thon the lam walls have been erected on Karsaz road and the service road has been pushed further away from the road.
He said cantonment land cannot be divided into different categories.
Justice Ahmed remarked that the Pearl Marquee and Grand Convention Hall are still standing.
"The wall running alongside Kala Pul and the Grand Convention Hall must be knocked down today," he said.
"Large walls have been constructed on Karsaz and Rashid Minhas road for advertisements. This is state land," he added.
Cinemas, petrol pumps, housing societies, shopping malls and marriage halls are not for defence purposes, the chief justice said, asking the attorney-general to inform the court "how the Ministry of Defence can restrict their use to defence purposes".
Justice Ahmed said this practice is "found on cantonment board lands all over the country".
"CSD has also been made an open, commercial department store," he said, referring to the Canteen Stores Department chain of retail stores headquartered in Rawalpindi.
"A building was erected on Gizri Road overnight. We had barely woken up in the morning and they constructed the building," he continued.
The chief justice said that it is "not possible to allow the army's illegal constructions to stand". "If we let these remain, how will we demolish the others?" he remarked.

Epstein was very likely the host of a bilateral intelligence collection effort. Too much unexplained wealth floating around to be anything other than a government sanctioned activity.
[ToloNews] The Islamic Emirate has "killed or disappeared "more than 100 Afghan former security members" in four provinces including Kandahar, Helmand ...an Afghan province populated mostly by Pashtuns, adjacent to Injun country in Pak Balochistan... , Ghazni and Kunduz in less than three months since taking control of Afghanistan, Human Rights Watch (HRW) said in new report.
The HRW conducted the research between August 15 to October 3, 2021, and interviewed at least 67 persons who are mostly in the mentioned provinces.
"The Taliban ...Arabic for students... leadership’s promised amnesty has not stopped local commanders from summarily executing or disappearing former Afghan security force members," said Patricia Gossman, associate Asia director of the Human Rights Watch. "The burden is on the Taliban to prevent further killings, hold those responsible to account, and compensate the victims’ families."
The report added that Taliban leadership has directed former security members to surrender and receive a letter that can guarantee their safety under the amnesty program, and so using this strategy the Taliban identified Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) members.
"If someone misuses the Islamic Emirate’s name and does this, the perpetrators of such cases should be identified and be punished," said Sadeq Shinwari, a military expert.
Human Rights Watch asked the Islamic Emirate to give up such Dire Revenge killings, but the Islamic Emirate Ministry of Interior is denying the claims of the report.
"We reject this report, if they own documents proving the issue they can share them with us so we can arrest and legally act against the criminals. The Islamic Emirate never chased or killed former security forces. Some former military forces may have lost lives as a result of personal hostility," said Saeed Khosti, MoI front man.
The report further said the United Nations ...aka the Oyster Bay Chowder and Marching Society... should maintain and fully implement its mandate to investigate human rights ...which are often intentionally defined so widely as to be meaningless... violations and abuses in Afghanistan.
Taliban forces have hunted down former officers using government employment records and have targeted those who surrendered and received letters guaranteeing their safety, the report said. In some cases, local Taliban commanders have drawn up lists of people to be targeted, saying they committed ``unforgivable'' acts.
Taliban fighters have carried out night raids on homes to detain former security officers or threaten and abuse their relatives into revealing their whereabouts, it said. In multiple cases it documented, the bodies of those who had been taken into detention were later found dumped in the street.
While some ``opportunistic'' killings took place immediately after the Taliban takeover, ``killings and disappearances appear to have become more deliberate since then as Taliban commanders...have used informants and information from the previous government to locate others'' linked to the former armed forces, it said.
In one case cited by the report, a former fighter in the National Directorate for Security named Abdul Qadir went into hiding in Kunduz province after the government fell, then resurfaced to live with his in-laws. On Aug. 25, he was stopped at a checkpoint by Taliban fighters. He admitted he had been an NDS member, but pointed out the amnesty. The fighters detained him anyway, and three days later his body was found by a river.
In Ghazni province, a former local police commander named Saadat disappeared after going to the market in mid-October. Residents later brought his body to his home, telling relatives he had been killed on the road by armed men they believed were Taliban.
The Taliban leadership in September announced the creation of a commission to investigate reports of rights abuses and crimes by their own fighters. But the commission has so far only announced arrests of a few members for theft and the dismissal of others for corruption, Human Rights Watch said.
``The Taliban's unsupported claims that they will act to prevent abuses and hold abusers to account appear so far to be nothing more than a public relations stunt,'' Gossman said.

Probably lots of scores being settled in Afghanistan these days. Doesn't really matter if you're nobody, ISIS, Taliban, or a former security person, if you meet anyone there having any kind of grudge against you or your family, BLAM! The survivors can then compose any excuse they like.

If they're supposed to be in court it's remarkable how ill that makes them.
Sheikh Ibrahim El-Zakzaky, big turban of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN), which Nigeria declared a terror group in 2019, was previously the leader of the Muslim Brotherhood in Nigeria. He converted to Shi'ism after a visit to Iran, becoming a fiery Iranian sock puppet. Like the Muslim Brotherhood, its spinoffs, including Boko Haram/ISWAP, are much more violent. He’s the only Zakzaky in our archives, but the rest of his name suffers considerable variation.

[Daily Mail, Where America Gets Its News] I've never heard Dr Anthony Fauci ...American epidemiologist with rotating opinions, warnings about the unlikely, and reassurances that if you wear a mask you won't get COVID, as long as you're wearing multiple masks, assuming wearing a mask is necessary in the first place... 's cell phone voicemail greeting, but I imagine it says: 'Yes, I'll come on your show.'For someone whose day job is supposed to be leading America's scientific and medical war against Covid-19, he seems to have an incredible amount of spare time for self-promotional media interviews.
Barely a week seems to go by without him popping up on TV or in newspapers and magazines, and as time has gone on, Fauci's become more and more brazenly political in those interviews since the Biden administration, the guys that caused the debacle in Afghanistan ...the pack of self-imagined masterminds of strategy and intrigue at the service of the Biden Crime Family and a grateful nation... took over.
Yesterday, he was everywhere again, speaking about the new Omicron variant.
What he said in these new interviews should give every American serious for concern, not just about the latest Covid threat but about some of the outrageously partisan statements the country's top doctor made.
The most egregious came on CBS's Face The Nation when Fauci burst out laughing after he was asked about Republican senator Ted Cruz; ...US Senator from Texas. Republican contender for president in 2016, his stiff and abrasive manner earned him the title most hated man in the Senate. After a close win over Beto O'Rourke, who tried to out-Lastino him, he grew a beard and let his biting wit shine through. Cruz's comments have been known to leave life-threatening wounds at better than forty feet... calling for him to be prosecuted over his links to the Wuhan Institute of Virology from where many think the coronavirus (aka COVID19 or Chinese Plague) ...the twenty first century equivalent of bubonic plague, only instead of killing off a third of the population of Europe it kills 3.4 percent of those who notice they have it. It seems to be fond of the elderly, especially Iranian politicians and holy men... outbreak leaked.
'I should be prosecuted?' he chuckled. 'What happened on January 6th, senator?'

Britain has always had a hard-on for Russia.
[RIA Novosti] Readers of the British edition of The Telegraph spoke about a possible armed conflict with Russia over Ukraine.
"Well, we have 70,000, if you count the camp kitchen and bookkeepers! In short, good luck in finding the rest," Cord Webster mocked.
"And I am afraid that the war will rapidly become nuclear if we do not let everything go on the brakes, because we have nothing else. It will take too long for the West to mobilize its meager forces," Cord Webster said.
"Ukraine is not interesting to us, Eastern - that's right," - said Mark Walker.
"The Russians are great at fighting in the cold. Just remember Stalingrad," wrote Barry Evans.
"The Ukrainian duck:" The Russians are Coming "is just an excuse to violate the Minsk Agreements. They have already exacerbated the conflict with drones and the latest American weapons.
Recently, Western media have been publishing articles about Moscow's preparations for an "offensive" on Kiev . The director of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, Sergei Naryshkin, said that no invasion of the neighboring state was planned. He described such reports as malicious propaganda by the United States.
According to the presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov, Russia has no aggressive intentions, and the movement of troops across the country should not bother anyone.

No one in his right mind "wants to fight Russia for eastern Ukraine."
There is nothing, zero, in the way of vital national interest at stake in these piss-poor little bailiwicks for us or any other nation outside of Russia.
No vital resources, no Sea Lanes of Communication, no treaty obligations. Not even anything in the way of cultural, linguistic or ethno-historical ties. NOTHING.
It is none of our f--king business.
Yet another mind-boggling example of our elites' unbelievable stupidity -- of their total inability to grasp the concepts of national interest and national priorities.

Russian historians say that Great Britain's mutual defense pact with Poland delayed Hitler's invasion for 24 hours.
Given that Poland was invaded by both Russia and Germany simultaneously... Ultimately, the Russians are responsible for WWII. It was only fitting that they endured the largest losses from that conflict. What was truly unfortunate is that the two countries did not both lose. The certainty that one would win and potentially dominate the continent, was why Uncle Sam jumped in with both feet when Hitler made the stupid mistake of declaring war on the US.
None of them are. The problem is that while you're not interested in Russia, Russia is interested in you. Ever since Novgorod had the bright idea of allying with the Mongols against the Teutonic Knights and its rival Slavic principalities, Russia's rulers have had this world-conquering ethos. While much of what they rule is frozen wasteland, Russia is almost 2x the size of the next 2 largest countries, combined. Russia doesn't *need* more land - it *wants* more land. That, in a nutshell, is the problem with Russia - its neighbors can never be safe from invasion. As Richard Pipes once wrote - the issue with the Soviet Union wasn't "Communism" - it was Russia's relentless appetite for new conquests.

Russia doesn't *need* more land - it *wants* more land. That, in a nutshell, is the problem with Russia - its neighbors can never be safe from invasion.
Russia is compelled to have buffer territories around them. Then they abuse the buffer territories and are shocked when the locals don't show gratitude.
They basically want us to 1) end the sanctions, 2) stop intervening all over the world and 3) leave them alone.
The "sanctions" don't bother the average Russian. That's purely Putin and his kleptocracy.
They want us to "stop interventions" so they and their allies will look tougher. They're regional powers, and an active world power makes their limited reach obvious.
As for "leave them alone" -- Americans don't give a flying f*ck about Russians in Russia. It's Putin's warmongering and imperial intent that concerns us.
If they'd get a real government, no one would be more relieved than Americans. Hell, it would likely motivate us to get a real one of our own.

Wrong. The Russians couldn't give a f--k about Americans and their obsessions.
They basically want us to 1) end the sanctions, 2) stop intervening all over the world and 3) leave them alone.
We give a damn about the Russians mainly because their single-minded obsession involves conquering the world. If they'd just stay within their borders, we wouldn't give a damn. Why can't they be like every other colonial power out there, and just let go already? Do you see the Germans, the French, the Brits, the Turks etc mooning over lost territories, even though unlike Russia, in their present state, they have no serious land buffer against invasion? I understand your attachment to the land of your forebears, but it would be good for you step outside their perspective once in a while.
[SAHARAREPORTERS] A young woman has been shot in Ikorodu, Lagos by a trigger-happy police officer who, along with his colleagues, was in a heated argument with some commercial tricycle riders over their demand for bribes.
According to a statement issued by the leader of the Ikorodu-Itokin Community, Salami Oluwaseun, the incident happened around 8 pm at the Parafa-Lucky Fibre axis of Ikorodu-Itoikin Road on Sunday. We have NO idea where that is...
The community leader narrated how his sister-in-law was shot by trigger-happy policemen in the Ikorodu area of Lagos.
He said Salami Ibrahim, his brother and sister-in-law were coming from the Adamo area of Ikorodu and were on their way home when they came across a police checkpoint.
Salami said they were allowed to pass through the checkpoint just when there was an argument between policemen at the checkpoint and some tricycle operators (popularly called Keke Marwa riders) over bribe payment.
He said his brother was about 10 metres away from the scene of the incident when he heard gunshots and thereafter discovered that his wife, who was beside him had been hit by a stray bullet.
Salami said his brother returned to the checkpoint to complain about the incident but the officers threatened to shoot him after which they fled the scene.
The community leader called on the Lagos State government and the public to conduct an investigation into the matter and ensure that justice is served in the case.
He said: "He (my brother) saw a police checkpoint on the way and was allowed to pass but noticed that an argument had ensued between the policemen at the checkpoint and some Keke Marwa operators over bribe issue.
”About five to 10 meters away, he heard a gunshot and his wife beside him suddenly screamed with bloodstains on her body. It was then he discovered a police stray bullet had hit his wife.
"He ran to the police officers at the checkpoint to complain of the stray bullet on his wife and sadly, the officers threatened to shoot him but before he could say a word, the policemen disappeared.
"The wife was rushed to the Ikorodu General Hospital's emergency unit yesterday and she is currently on admission as a result of this wicked and dastardly act of the Nigeria Police Force, Lagos State Police Command.
"In view of this, I want to make a passionate appeal to the police authority in Lagos State and Nigeria at large to investigate this ugly incident and fish out the perpetrators of this evil act to serve as a lesson to other bad eggs in police uniforms."

[NewsFrontInfo] Russia is allegedly behind the preparation of a coup d'etat in Ukraine, which Zelensky previously announced, said the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmygal.
Thus, according to the Prime Minister, the so-called "build-up of Russian troops on the border with Ukraine is part of a broader effort by Moscow to weaken Kiev's aspirations to join the European Union."
Shmyhal added that Ukrainian intelligence has revealed the activities of "external forces" trying to influence the political opposition within the country in order to provoke a popular uprising and a coup d'etat.
According to the head of the Cabinet of Ministers, there are no revolutionary sentiments in Ukrainian society.

EC,
True to both of those - but always remember that we know now that Castro came within an ace of telling his own people, "Screw it and launch the missiles yourself"...and at at least one site, the Cuban troops there showed up armed and demanding control of the missiles.

[Rusvesna] Seven high-ranking officers of the Rosgvardia were suspected of embezzlement and abuse; they are planning to initiate a criminal case against them, the Kommersant newspaper reports, citing sources.
"The main military prosecutor's office sent materials to the Main Military Investigation Department of the TFR to initiate a criminal case on embezzlement and abuse against four generals and three colonels of the Russian Guard," the newspaper writes.
All the officers who fell under suspicion were checked in connection with the introduction of the Real Estate information system in the structure of the Interior Ministry and Rosgvardia troops, which was supposed to digitize and combine all the department's objects in a single register, but did not work.
According to the newspaper, the reason for the check was the materials of the Rosgvardia's own security service - they related not only to the activities of the department, but also to the internal troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs that preceded it.
The auditors and prosecutors were interested in the details of attempts to introduce Real Estate back in 2012-2016 in the Interior Ministry troops, which ceased to exist in 2016.
As reported by "Kommersant", the main center of the automated control system of the Interior Ministry and the All-Russian Research Institute for Automation of Control in the Non-Industrial Sphere. V.V. Solomatina signed contracts according to which the system was supposed to work by 2016.
The officers of their own security, who worked on the personal instructions of the director of the Russian Guard, Viktor Zolotov, found out that "Real Estate" existed only on paper, although all 192 million rubles allocated for its creation were completely "mastered".

[RIA Novosti] Columnist Brent Eastwood, in an article for Business Insider, called the T-72 tank a reliable support for the Russian army.
As the author noted, this military machine was developed about 50 years ago in the USSR , but even half a century later it has great potential.
Thanks to the latest upgrades, the tank will be able to compete with the most modern models of technology - this is facilitated by the installation of a new 125-mm smooth-bore cannon 2A46M-5 with automatic loading, writes the columnist. Every Russian tank since 1954 has had an autoloader for its main gun.
The T-72 was equipped with a Kalina fire control system capable of independently tracking enemy armored vehicles. In addition, the vehicle can fire armor-piercing and high-explosive shells, and use AT-11 anti-tank missiles. Its hull, like the T-90, is covered with Kontakt-5 reactive armor, the article says. Reactive armor has been in use on Russian tanks since at least the 1990s. Also, even the T-72B2 and some older Russian tanks have been retro-fitted, with stabilized main guns, vehicles also which include the BMP-2 and BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicles.
Eastwood clarified that Russia plans to upgrade its tanks to the T-72B3 version . This means that this model will remain the "workhorse" of the Russian army in the future, the journalist concluded. The T-72B3 has been in widespread service since at least the 2010s, it main feature being thermal sights.

...Against the kind of opposition the Russians can reasonably expect to face in the Ukraine, the T-72 will do just fine. Against the latest iterations of the Abrams or Challenger, it's going to have problems.
A couple of other points -
*The autoloaders are really great when they work. They have been known to try and load the odd crewmember.
*Reactive armor is great against RPGs, less effective against LAW's, and utterly useless against a GAU-8. Against other tanks it's helpful - but you better be able to kill that tank before it gets a second round off.

Upgraded T-72s are still a good and reliable tank against 3rd world foes. Any western tank will put them out of action right quick. 3rd world countries that get access to modern anti-tank missiles would be able to knock out quite a few as well.
The T-72s and newer Russian tanks in Syria suffered heavy casualties to modern missiles.

Those were M models in Syria, not B models which are much more capable
How much more if the newer T-90A tanks were getting taken out by older TOWs? If the rebels had the newer TOWs that had a top down attack mode, they would all have been toast.
I would like to see how well the newer versions perform against current generation missiles. I know the active protection system has improved since then.
First the Taliban, now drought? Allah must be severely displeased.
[ToloNews] Officials from Herat ...a venerable old Persian-speaking city in western Afghanistan, populated mostly by Tadjiks, which is why it's not as blood-soaked as areas controlled by Pashtuns... ’s agriculture department say that saffron production in the province has decreased this year compared to last year.
Pir Mohammad Halimi, head of the agriculture department, said due to the drought and lack of water saffron fields in the province have been less productive.
"Around 10 (metric) tons of saffron have been harvested this year and are expected to increase in the future," he said.
Meanwhile, ...back at the Alamo, Davy was counting their remaining cannon balls and not liking the results... some farmers in Herat province said that last year they harvested more than 20 metric tons of saffron, but this year due to the drought they harvested only 10 tons, which is a 50% decrease.
"Compared to last year, and due to the drought and low rainfall, our product has decreased a lot," said Abdul Ahmad, a farmer.
The National Saffron Workers Union (NSWU) said that the price of saffron has tripled this year compared to last year, but Afghanistan’s saffron exports are still stalled. According to the union, since the political change in August 15 saffron exports have been halted.
"After the political change in the country, there has been no way out to export our products and this is a problem," said Abdul Shukoor Ahrari, head of the union.
In the meantime, during the saffron harvesting season, a temporary job is provided for hundreds of women and girls and most of the products is collected by them. The women and girls said they are happy that they have a job and can help their family financially.
"It is very good for us economically. In the morning we go to school and when we come back from school we clean saffron flowers," said Saliha Ahmadi, a saffron worker.
"This is very good for us, so that we can have an income. And through this we can solve our families’ financial problems," said Hayedah, a worker in a saffron field.
Currently, women and girls have very significant role in the processing and preparation of saffron in Herat province. Many processing factories are run by women.
"Most of the men are unemployed, this is a very good job for us. Through this we can solve both our own problems and our family’s problems," said Shabana Nazif, a saffron processor.
According to statistics, more than 90% of the country's saffron is harvested in Herat, which for the third time has been selected as the best saffron in the world.
The International Taste & Quality Institute in the Belgian capital of Brussels named Afghanistan's saffron the best in the world in 2015, after sampling around 300 kinds.
[An Nahar] Several prominent Kuwaiti opposition figures have returned home from a decade of self-exile after getting amnesty from the ruling emir, a long-awaited move celebrated Tuesday that's aimed at ending the political paralysis that has burned a hole in public finances. Faisal al-Moslem was the latest to be greeted early Tuesday by screams of joy from relatives and supporters who had gathered at the open-air diwaniya, the all-male customary Kuwaiti gathering. Attendees in traditional white robes and checkered headdresses crowded around al-Moslem, jostling to shake his hand.
Al-Moslem is among several opposition Islamist politicians who had been sentenced to prison for storming the Kuwaiti Parliament amid the Arab Spring uprisings of 2011 as the government moved to grind out dissent. Like many, he fled and had been living in exile in The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...just another cheapjack Moslem dictatorship, brought to you by the Moslem Brüderbund... as the country's remaining opposition pressed the emir to issue a royal pardon and pave the way for their return.
The emir issued the amnesty decree earlier this month as tensions escalated between Kuwait's fully-elected parliament and emir-appointed government, with angry politicians using their limited powers to block the government's economic reforms.
The royal edict pardoned and softened the sentences of nearly three dozen Kuwaiti dissidents. Well-known former opposition leader Musallam al-Barrak returned home last week with great fanfare.
The political deadlock has bred a worsening financial crisis in the wealthy, oil-rich sheikhdom, with Kuwait's general reserve fund running dry. The parliament, meanwhile, refuses to let the government raise the public debt ceiling and drum up badly needed billions of dollars.
As oil prices plummeted during the coronavirus (aka COVID19 or Chinese Plague) ...the twenty first century equivalent of bubonic plague, only instead of killing off a third of the population of Europe it kills 3.4 percent of those who notice they have it. It seems to be fond of the elderly, especially Iranian politicians and holy men... pandemic, the government continued to pay lavish public sector salaries without addressing the widening deficit, prompting ratings agencies to downgrade Kuwait for the first time in its history.
After al-Moslem returned, Kuwaitis celebrated with tea and a ceremonial sword dance.
"All the houses in Kuwait are very happy by the return of al-Moslem and those who were with him," said Dokhi al-Hasban, one of the attendees. "The merciful mother...embraces her sons regardless of their minds, their conceptions and their ideology."
[GEO.TV] The Muttahida Qaumi Movement ...English: United National Movement, generally known as MQM, is the 3rd largest political party and the largest secular political party in Pakistain with particular strength in Sindh. From 1992 to 1999, the MQM was the target of the Pak Army's Operation Cleanup leaving thousands of urdu speaking civilians dead... 's (MQM) founder the increasingly enormous Altaf Hussain ... The head of MQM in Pakistain, who has lived in safety and comfort in London and hasn't laid eyes on his purported homeland since about the time Caesar made corporal. Judging from the size of him, he may be a Hutt... ’s application stating that he is "physically and mentally unfit to stand terrorism trial in January 2022" has been rejected by the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS).The MQM leader had applied a month ago to the CPS to abort the upcoming terrorism trial altogether, claiming that he was suffering from several physical and mental illnesses to stand trial in January 2022 at the UK's Kingston Crown Court for allegedly using hate speech and encouraging an act of terrorism in Pakistain in August 2016.
The speech had aroused the MQM workers into taking the law into their hands and the unravelling of the MQM into two parts known as MQM-Pakistain and MQM-London.
Altaf Hussain wrote to the CPS that he had recently suffered from COVID-19 and went through an extremely difficult health situation which has affected his health and state of mind overall, therefore, the trial should be cancelled and the case dropped. Well, of course
Altaf Hussain’s legal team, in support of its application to drop the terrorism case altogether, produced several medical reports of Hussain showing him as seriously ill and mentally and physically unable to cope with the rigour and demands of a trial.
While rejecting his application, the CPS has informed Altaf Hussain that it didn’t believe that he was unfit and unable to stand the trial. The CPS has confirmed that the terrorism trial will go ahead as scheduled to start on January 31, 2022, and will last for about three weeks.
The CPS gave no reason why it didn’t believe the version of Altaf Hussain but it is understood that the prosecutors have been regularly watching and reviewing the political activities of Hussain and they might have seen that Hussain regularly interacts with his followers and no more uses the incendiary language that he used frequently some time ago.
[THEGATEWAYPUNDIT] As of Monday, Kyle Rittenhouse is no longer enrolled at Arizona State University’s online program.
A spokesperson for the university said that Rittenhouse, 18, is "not currently enrolled in any classes at ASU" and still "has not gone through the ASU admissions process," according to Campus Reform.
Rittenhouse said he was taking online classes at ASU and in recent interviews, he had indicated that he would like to attend classes in-person — ASU had even previously confirmed he was enrolled as a ’non-degree-seeking’ online student for the session that began in mid-October, even though the teen had not gone through the full admissions process.
The sudden change in Rittenhouse’s enrollment status comes just after a coalition of unhinged ASU students began pressuring the administration to "withdraw" Kyle Rittenhouse from the school’s online program, calling him a "violent mostly peaceful blood-thirsty murderer."
The groups issued a woke list of demands to campus leadership, including withdrawing Rittenhouse from enrollment, releasing a statement condemning Rittenhouse and white supremacy ...the pernicious doctrine that laws were intended to be obeyed, that society works better when people don't pour shreiking from their places of worship every Friday for a weekend of rioting over insults real or imagined; and that cannibalism, beastiality, incest, murder, theft, rape, and similar activities are bad. A Dead White European (which invalidates his opinion) philosopher once opined that societies thrive when a person's word can be relied upon, and that a society which puts individual happiness first will invariably fail. Strangely enough, other successful societies, such as China, Japan, Korea, and those kinds of places could also be lumped with white supremacist societies, since they push the same values... , reaffirming support for the Multicultural Center, and redirecting funding from ASU’s police department to the Multicultural Center.
Organizers also said Rittenhouse was "still guilty" and should be "held accountable" by not being permitted at the school.

One year tuition in person attendance $31,449 = $125,796 for a bachelor's degree. Stuck with a 6 figure debt that would take a lifetime to pay off before you get your first post graduate job.

Probably has a new name. Wouldn't you change your name if you were under death threats and accused of the crime of "white supremacy" -- the Ultimate Crime Against All Holiness -- by POTUS, ie the commander-in-chief of not just the US military but the American Stasi and also thousands of murderous shock troops?

Kyle should apply his extraordinary skills in self-defense, marksmanship and grace under pressure to the task of training thousands of brave young people for the coming strife.
Teach gun safety and the law of self-defense at a minimum. Charge a reasonable hourly fee -- say, $100/hr.
We don't need his prospective nursing skills. We need this amazing young man's extraordinary skills as a restrained, totally-legal and righteous defender of our Republic.

Merrick, I love you like brat, and I love this idea in theory, but in practice, as in psychiatric, I dunno...
Whole multitudes, fresh-faced and guileless,

"What?"
Well, one day, this one nut...
But, oh boy, was he buried in style!

[NYPOST] An 11-year-old boy was arrested for a carjacking in reliably Democrat Chicago, aka The Windy City or Mobtown ...home of Al Capone, the Chicago Black Sox, a succession of Daleys, Barak Obama, and Rahm Emmanuel... and is considered a suspect in "several" other cases, police said.
The boy, who was not publicly identified, was busted Friday on a felony count of aggravated vehicular hijacking with a firearm, Chicago police brass said Monday.
"Let me say that again, because that stops the conscience," Chicago police Superintendent David Brown told news hounds, according to the Chicago Tribune. "Our task force arrested an 11-year-old for a carjacking."
The youngster — who Brown characterized as a "prolific carjacker" in the Windy City — was arrested Friday in the Nov. 14 carjacking of a 48-year-old woman in a supermarket parking lot.
"This is a sad state of affairs," Brown said, adding that the boy was arrested and charged with being in a stolen car two weeks earlier. The vehicle had been carjacked in nearby Evergreen Park, the Tribune reported.
Brown said the boy will be charged as a juvenile, but he’s being eyed in "several" other carjackings, Sherlocks said.
"The 11-year-old seems to be driving these carjackings," Chicago police Chief of Detectives Brendan Deenihan said. "So he’s not just there, I guess, along for the ride with other individuals."
Law enforcement sources told WLS-TV the victim in the Nov. 14 carjacking at a Jewel-Osco supermarket was a Chicago police sergeant’s wife who was robbed at gunpoint. The stolen 2021 BMW SUV was later recovered on the city’s South Side, the station reported.
Deenihan said detectives believe the 11-year-old was a "strong participant" in other recent carjackings, but an investigation is ongoing.
Chicago police, meanwhile, have made 1,292 carjacking-related arrests this year in 1,635 reported incidents, Brown said.
Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot ...the diminutive and vacuous Heronner da Mare of Chicago. When the corpse count rises she blames the guns, which are banned anyway. A racist to the bone, Lori sez that people with the same skin tone all think alike, not quite getting the implications for a city with a population less than thirty percent black... also commented on the boy’s arrest Monday while criticizing judges for releasing suspects in similar carjacking cases, WLS-TV reported.
"I’m going to be meeting with the juvenile judges here relatively soon to address that issue," Lightfoot said at a presser. "We have a crisis and it’s a crisis that they have to own some responsibility for. We cannot keep putting these kids back out on the streets with no support, no resources, no monitoring."

[Regnum] It cannot be said that Major General Anatoly Nosovich (1878−1968), a member of the white movement, was not known to the Soviet reader. In a somewhat caricatured form, Alexei Tolstoy mentioned him in the novel "Bread", and the general's memoirs published under the pseudonym Chernomorets were quoted in the 1930s in the newspaper "Pravda" by the "first red officer" Klim Voroshilov.
Finally, already in the post-Soviet period, some of his memoir articles were published as a separate book.
What attracted the Bolsheviks to Nosovich? Indeed, in contrast to such open enemies of the Soviet regime as General Sergei Markov (the same Tolstoy wrote about him in "Walking through the Torments") or Admiral Alexander Kolchak (from Soviet writers, Nikolai Aseev spoke about him not without sympathy in "Semyon Proskakov" )
Nosovich, on the instructions of the Moscow anti-Bolshevik underground organization, was introduced into the ranks of the Red Army (RKKA). That is, there was no "honest" or "open" battle, but "deception" or "betrayal".
Nevertheless, there was interest in him. The fact is that in the essay "Red Tsaritsyn" the general described the future Soviet leader as follows:
“It is not in the rules (...) of a person like Stalin to get away from the business he just started. We must give him justice that his energy can be the envy of any of the old administrators, and the ability to apply to business and circumstances should be learned by many."
It is interesting that after the XX Party Congress this assessment of Stalin given by Nosovich was confirmed in a private conversation by Anastas Mikoyan. As a member of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR, in a conversation with the writer Yuri Trifonov, he confessed to the latter:
"Yes, he was a very good administrator. And very humble."
Note that at the congress itself, Mikoyan, even before Khrushchev's famous speech, used the expression "personality cult" to criticize Stalin.
The memoirs of Anatoly Nosovich and documents associated with him, collected by the historian Andrei Ganin in the book, depict the general's underground activities at the headquarters of the Red Army during the defense of Tsaritsyn (here he just met Stalin), as well as stories about other military and party leaders.
For example, the former colonel of the imperial army Joachim Vatsetis, who joined the Red Army (he was the commander-in-chief of the Red Army in 1918-1919), was perceived by the memoirist extremely negatively: “an evil Latvian: he will not be tormented by his conscience at the sight of destroyed Russia, which he hates with all his soul”
But about the former Colonel Sergei Kamenev who replaced him, on the contrary, he spoke with empathy: "probably his passionate nature was the reason that he was carried away by an adventure and fell into the mainstream of the Bolshevik stream."
Taken together, these testimonies create a more objective picture in which Stalin turns out to be not only a talented manager, but also a cruel politician who admitted that his party members were ready to "destroy out of ten - nine innocent out of a hundred - ninety-nine" for the sake of catching one enemy.
A separate question: is it possible to be a successful administrator with such arithmetic?
A separate article dealing with documents relating to Nosovich can be found here.
[THEPOSTMILLENNIAL] Following an unprovoked, brutal attack on a teenage Asian American student earlier this month by black assailants, a Philadelphia city councilmember has issued a statement defending the group's actions, claiming that the girls were "trying to articulate" what needs to be done to "address racial bias." They were just articulating in their own inarticulate way.
"We as a city and a nation are not doing nearly enough to support young people," at-large Philadelphia city councilmember Helen Gym told The Philadelphia Inquirer. That's why young people of all races, creeds, and colors beat people up on the subway.
Gym said, according to the Philadelphia news outlet, to address the root causes of the issue, the city and school district should pour more resources into mentorship programs as well as job and recreational opportunities. A Jobs for Social Workers program?
"There's no question that they are emulating what they're seeing, especially in terms of the violence and the scapegoating, in particular," Gym said, noting that "They are trying to articulate out what they need to see done better by institutions, including the school district, to address racial bias, intimidation." I guess that's so. They see their fellow blacks beating up Asians and whites, so they do it too.
Four teenagers, with ages ranging from 13 to 16, were charged with aggravated assault, ethnic intimidation, criminal conspiracy, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and disorderly conduct in connection with the attack, according to The Philadelphia Inquirer. One of the four was also charged with robbery for attempting to steal the victim's AirPods.

We can't live together with these savages any longer.
Aside from exiling them or shipping them back to Liberia or another West African made-up Republic, the only realistic option now is to carve out quasi-reservations for them and etect tribal boundaries and tribal laws under which they will have clear sovereignty to rape and pillage as they please.
We have such reservations. Their names are Detroit, Memphis, the Ninth Ward, NW DC, the Bronx, South Central etc.
Now we just need to adapt the Indian Reservation / Tribal legislative code to accommodate these savages' wishes and behaviors and to allow us, at last, at long last, to go our separate ways.

[NYPOST] A Texas man was sentenced to over nine years in prison on Monday for fraudulently obtaining COVID-19 relief funds that he used for the purchase of a Lamborghini and other expenses.
Lee Price III, 30, who pleaded guilty in September to wire fraud and money laundering charges, received $1.6 million in PPP loan funds by falsifying his applications, the Department of Justice said, citing court documents.
On the applications, Price used the name of a person who died before the documents were submitted, the court documents said.
In the paperwork, he also fudged payroll expenses and the number of employees he purportedly had at three seperate businesses, according to the court docs.
Price used some of the ill-gotten gains to buy a Lamborghini Urus, a Ford F-350 truck and a Rolex watch, the DOJ said.
The DOJ said authorities have recovered over $700,000 in the fraudulently obtained money.
[NATIONALREVIEW] Dr. Mehmet Oz, the celebrity physician best known as the host of the Dr. Oz Show, announced Tuesday that he is running for U.S. Senate in Pennsylvania as a Republican.
"During the pandemic, I learned that when you mix politics and medicine, you get politics instead of solutions. That’s why I am running for the U.S. Senate: to help fix the problems and to help us heal," Oz wrote in a column published in the Washington Examiner.
The 61-year-old heart surgeon joins a crowded Republican primary field vying to succeed retiring Republican Senator Pat Toomey. Businessman Jeff Bartos and former U.S. ambassador to Denmark Carla Sands have declared their candidacy for the seat, while David McCormick, a former official in the Treasury Department under President George W. Bush, is reportedly eyeing a run, according to CNN ...the organization formerly known as the Cable News Network. Now who knows what it might stand for... The candidates were thrown a curveball in recent weeks when GOP candidate Sean Parnell, who was endorsed by former President Trump, dropped out of the race.
"Pennsylvania needs a conservative who will put America first," Oz said in a short video on his campaign website.
Oz, who was born in Cleveland, kept in touch with the world by Obamaphone, ...was ruled by a Democrat machine from 1942 through 1971. After the river caught fire during the administration of Carl Stokes they tried a Republican, then went back to being Democrats when the party hacked up Dennis Kucinich ... , Ohio to Ottoman Turkish immigrants colonists, attended medical school at the University of Pennsylvania. He rose to prominence as a regular guest on The Oprah Winfrey Show before starting his own syndicated daytime TV show in 2009.
In his campaign video, Oz hit the federal response to COVID-19, saying the pandemic had been mishandled by "elites" who "closed our parks, shuttered our schools, shut down our businesses, and took away our freedom.’’
"Washington got it wrong," said Oz, who regularly appeared on Fox News to discuss COVID-19.

A couple positives for Dr Oz:
Not a politician or lawyer
Successful second generation America (probably appreciates American values more than most)
Very good speaker, name recognition and camera savvy
A few concerns:
No prior strong political leanings so most likely a future RINO
Friend of Oprah

The interesting bit is that he decided to run as a Republican, even though all right-thinking people know that all non-Democrats are monsters.
A stalking horse? Maybe. I would be un-surprised. Or maybe he is just a middle of the road conservative, someone who would have been a Democrat before the party went insane.

Any right winger in showbiz quickly learns the art of camouflage. No idea what he stands for, but I'm sure we'll be hearing soon enough what he says he does. Fact is, no one who is not the candidate knows until he takes office.
[GEO.TV] Pakistain has an extremely high rate of rape cases, according to somewhat ’unreliable’ statistics gathered on the topic. The problem in putting together ’reliable’ statistics is based on the issue of what laws are in place in the country, how many rapes are reported, how many incidents of sexual assault are classified as rape, and other similar factors. However, there's more than one way to skin a cat... We do know that in Pakistain around 10 rape cases are reported daily, and out of these cases, only 77 percent of those accused are convicted. The PTI government had put forward a plan to deal with rape; with the PM calling for the chemical castration of rapists. The provision for legal chemical castration was, however, taken back by the government after the Council of Islamic Ideology (CII) said that such punishment was un-Islamic. We do not know why the prime minister had not properly researched before putting out his frequently repeated opinions that chemical castration is the best way to deal with rapists. Chemical castration is a process which induces large amounts of a female hormone ’progesterone’ into the body, reducing a man’s ability to carry out any kind of physical sex. However, we can't all be heroes. Somebody has to sit on the curb and applaud when they go by... it does not prevent assault in other forms and can have extremely serious side effects, including the development of feminine features in the man and acute depression.
For this reason, it has been described as an unacceptable punishment by Amnesia Amnesty International and other groups, and as one which should never be carried out without being accompanied by therapy and counselling sessions by other experts. In Europe, chemical castration is used in some countries but not as a form of punishment, but as a course of treatment on the request of a person who is guilty of multiple sex crimes and may feel that he requires help to overcome whatever problems he faces which trigger his violent mostly peaceful behaviour towards those weaker than him.
In Pakistain, we need to understand that rape is not a sexual offence as such, but an exhibition of power over a weak person. This is perhaps the reason why even five-year-old girls are rape victims. The frequently given assertion that women’s clothes, for example more revealing clothes, ’tempt’ men in some way to rape them is ludicrous and is not backed out by scientific evidence anywhere in the world.
It is also true that rape cases are not limited to Pakistain. Botswana recorded the world’s second-highest number of rape cases in 2020. This figure also changes as it depends on how the crimes are counted.
Pakistain has to figure out a way to deal with the problem. Women and child’s rights activists, such as those who organise the Aurat March, condemn chemical castration and describe it as an inhumane form of punishment. The answer lies in teaching men about consent, the importance of moving ahead with any gesture or association only when there is full consent, and empowering women to report rape far more frequently. Women should also be encouraged to carry pepper spray, as has become more common in neighbouring India where New Delhi, the capital, faces the problem of rising rape cases.
Indeed, pepper spray cans and visits to cop shoppes to report rape — the two actions that ought to be carried out by women — cannot be the only answer to the problem. Instead, like Sweden, we need to ensure that perpetrators of rape are punished on a timely basis and sentenced to imprisonment — as prescribed in the Pakistain Penal Code (PPC) — and that such punishments are meted out regularly and without discrimination. Too often, women do not move ahead with rape cases because of how they are treated during the investigation process, making the crime even worse.

If they don't like chemical castration, how about mechanical castration? Take off the testicles, and the urge goes way down. Take off the penis, and the ability to rape goes away. Problem solved.

"Our oversight identified many other issues and concerns with the vetting process. For example, if an Afghan evacuee did have identification, such as an Afghan National ID card or passport, the screening process did not include validation of the documents beyond a visual inspection. No follow up.
"The officials working at the military bases in Europe said they did not have any specific training or expertise in identifying a fraudulent Afghan ID card. So our folks went over to these foreign locations, the so-called lily pads and asked the people who are doing this screening process, 'When you get an Afghan ID card, what do you do?'
They said 'We don’t have the expertise to identify a fraudulent Afghan ID card, so we assume that it’s accurate ...'.
"The Afghan evacuees' identities are logged into ...a U.S. national security database -- in some cases, of course, based on what could be a fake ID. If the evacuees did not have any identification documents, which apparently was the case with a substantial number, no ID at all, federal officials simply logged them into our databases based on what they said was their name and their date of birth. So they created a national security database from what these individuals volunteered.
"We’re told it’s not unusual for Afghans not to know their actual birthday. It’s just not always part of the culture to record or have that information, that’s understood. But this has resulted in a number of the databases including information about birthdays as January 1 of a particular year, so they were simply logged, as say, January 1, 1990. ..."
[PJMedia] Chris Cuomo has been suspended indefinitely as a result of the fallout from the latest revelations from the New York attorney general’s investigation of his brother, disgraced former New York Governor Andrew Sonny Cuomo ...former Dem dynastic governor of Noo Yawk, the son and heir of the late Mario Cuoma and formerly married to a Kennedy. Acclaimed for his leadership during the COVID epidemic, he managed the nation's highest corpse count while successfully hiding the returns and writing a book praising himself. Among the nation's horniest politicians, he had about a dozen allegations of sexual harrassment and groping against him when he resigned... Despite repeatedly claiming he was not helping his brother, text messages released by the New York attorney general’s office showed Cuomo was in regular contact with Melissa DeRosa, the governor’s top aide, assisting with his brother’s response to the allegations and exploiting his media connection to dig up dirt on Andrew’s accusers.
"The New York Attorney General’s office released transcripts and exhibits Monday that shed new light on Chris Cuomo’s involvement in his brother’s defense," a CNN ...the organization formerly known as the Cable News Network. Now who knows what it might stand for... spokesperson said Tuesday evening. "The documents, which we were not privy to before their public release, raise serious questions."
"When Chris admitted to us that he had offered advice to his brother’s staff, he broke our rules and we acknowledged that publicly. But we also appreciated the unique position he was in and understood his need to put family first and job second," the spokesperson continued. "However, there is a theory which states that if ever anybody discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another theory which states that this has already happened... these documents point to a greater level of involvement in his brother’s efforts than we previously knew. As a result, we have suspended Chris indefinitely, pending further evaluation."
It is not clear what else CNN needs to evaluate. Given the evidence, outright dismissal would be appropriate.

[KUOW.ORG] Darrell Brooks, Jr., has become the poster boy for the backlash against bail reform.
The 39-year-old faces at least six counts of homicide for allegedly driving his maroon Ford Escape through a holiday parade in Waukesha, Wisc. on Sunday evening — only two weeks after being released on $1,000 cash bail for another act of vehicular aggression, in which he allegedly ran over a woman during an altercation.
"FREED DEMON" is how the tabloid New York Post cover headline put it on Tuesday, along with an editorial titled "Deadly result of progressive arrogance on bail reform."

[THEPOSTMILLENNIAL] A man out on parole for domestic battery, and out on bail for a second domestic battery charge, attempted to kill his wife on reliably Democrat Chicago, aka The Windy City or Mobtown ...home of Al Capone, the Chicago Black Sox, a succession of Daleys, Barak Obama, and Rahm Emmanuel... 's Kennedy Expressway last week.According to CWB Chicago, this is the 56th person out of 82 cases this year alone where the suspect is accused of killing or attempting to kill someone while awaiting trial for a felony in Chicago. Does any of this sound familiar?
Assistant State’s Attorney John Gnilka said the 39-year-old man, who was not named in order to protect his victim, and his wife went to a club last Thursday. The pair allegedly got into an argument and security guards at the club restrained the man against a wall after he grabbed the woman’s hair. Security then gave the couple’s car keys to her.
The woman then drove home with a friend but as they were driving, the man allegedly called his wife repeatedly, and the victim agreed to return to the club to pick up the man up after dropping off the friend. According to Gnilka, some of the conversations were recorded.
Gnilka said that after the victim picked up the man, he allegedly began pulling her hair and choking her as she drove on the Kennedy Expressway near the Eisenhower Expressway exit.
The victim pulled over and put the car in park as the man allegedly squeezed her neck tightly with both hands and said, "You’re going to die tonight. I’m going to kill you."
According to Gnilka, the victim said she felt her eyes bulging out and lost consciousness then tried to escape when she regained consciousness, but the man punched her in the jaw and pulled her back into the car by her hair.
The woman managed to get out of the car and a passing tow truck driver called the police. The victim locked herself in the tow truck for protection from the man.
Chicago police and Illinois State Police troopers arrived and took the man into custody. He is charged with attempted first-degree murder and aggravated battery by strangling.
According to Gnilka, the man has a pending domestic battery case where he is accused of breaking his wife’s arm by body slamming her. The man was also out on conditional discharge for another domestic battery case, and on parole for another different attack.
Gnilka said that the man was sent to prison on November 4, but was released by the state three days later after receiving a 50 percent sentence reduction for good behavior and credit for time spent in jug before pleading guilty to the crime.
The man was ordered to be held without bail on the new charges by Judge Susana Ortiz.

[VK] The movement of Ukrainian troops near Donbass is dangerous for residents of the DPR and LPR, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on November 30 during a discussion at the Russia Calling!
Answering the question about whether there is a risk of the RF Armed Forces entering Ukraine, the head of state said that a settlement is needed.
As for the threats, Putin notes, "for people living in two so far unrecognized republics - the LPR and the DPR, there are also constant threats created when [Ukrainian] military units move near their territories."
Commenting on statements from the West that military exercises are being conducted in Russia in the border area, the head of state said that the Russian side "also experiences certain concerns about the fact that large-scale exercises, including unplanned ones, are being held near its borders."
“Twenty kilometers from our border, strategic bombers flew, carrying high-precision weapons, and possibly nuclear weapons. After all, all this creates a threat for us, ”said Vladimir Putin.
During the plenary session of the VTB Capital Investment Forum "Russia Calling!" Russian President Vladimir Putin answered the question whether it is worth fearing the introduction of Russian troops into Ukraine.
According to him, the possible introduction of Russian troops into Ukraine was discussed at the beginning of the year. But as we can see, this did not happen.
"The point is not whether to bring in troops or not, to fight or not to fight. The point is to improve relations to create a more equitable, sustainable development and take into account the interests of all participants in international activities," Putin said.
The Russian President stressed that if we all sincerely strive for this, no one will experience any threats.
The leader of the Russian Federation also noted that if shock systems appear on the territory of Ukraine, which will reduce the flight time to Moscow to 7-10, or even five minutes, then Moscow will be forced to respond, creating the same threats.
[NYPOST] The State Department announced Tuesday that it had officially removed the far-left rebel group Revolutionary Forces of Colombia (FARC) from its list of foreign terrorist organizations. The announcement came on the fifth anniversary of an agreement negotiated by FARC and Colombia’s government meant to end more than 50 years of fighting.
According to Secretary of State Antony Blinken, FARC "formally dissolved and disarmed" after the 2016 treaty was brokered, and the rebel group is no longer a unified organization "that engages in terrorism or terrorist activity or has the capability or intent to do so." "Now everything will be right as rain"
Blinken added that removing the foreign terrorist group designation from FARC does not affect criminal charges that have been or may be brought by the US against the rebel group’s onetime leaders.
Nor, the secretary continued, does the move undo judgments by a special Colombian court "which found their actions to be crimes against humanity."
FARC was first designated a terrorist organization by the US in 1997. In its place, Blinken announced foreign terrorist organization designations for two splinter groups, Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia FARC or FARC-EP, is either a Marxist-Leninist revolutionary guerrilla organization or a drug cartel based in Colombia. It claims to represent the rural poor in a struggle against Colombia's wealthier classes, and opposes United States influence in Colombia, neo-imperialism, monopolization of natural resources by multinational corporations, and the usual raft of complaints. It funds itself principally through ransom kidnappings, taxation of the drug trade, extortion, shakedowns, and donations. It has lately begun calling itself Bolivarian and was greatly admired by Venezuela's President-for-Life Chavez, who seemingly fantasizes about living in the woods and kidnapping people himself. He provided FARC with safe areas along the border. — People’s Army (FARC-EP), and Segunda Marquetalia, as well as their respective leaders.
Both breakaway groups were founded in 2019 and have since engaged in terrorist activity in the South American nation. According to Blinken, both organizations have targeted former members of FARC as well as politicians for liquidation and kidnapping.
[THEFEDERALIST] The Los Angeles Unified School District Office of Human Relations, Diversity & Equity prepared a presentation told students Critical Race Theory
...teaches that skin color is the most important characteristic of any person, which translates to separate but equal with a different bunch in charge. All whites and Asians are born racist and racism permeates every aspect of society, which should be dismantled and the remains turned over to the kind of dipshit who pushes this nonsense... isn’t being taught in schools while the district made presentations that did precisely that. The district also mandated that teachers take an "antiracism" course taught by a known critical race theorist who told them to "challenge whiteness."
A LAUSD presentation titled "Critical Race Theory and Racism in K-12 Education" starts out by defining the theory as a "Theoretical Framework through which researchers and scholars try to understand how structural and racial inequities exist and endure in our society."
The PowerPoint implores students to rename a headline referring to critical race theory, "since we now understand that Critical Race Theory is not taught in schools." A separate document, which claims "there is no evidence that CRT is widespread in K-12 education," is also listed on LAUSD’s website.
Although administrators at LAUSD claim CRT isn’t taught in their schools, the district created lesson plans that embed the corrosive theory in their very own classrooms, all after the district brought in a critical race theorist to tell teachers how to "challenge whiteness."

They always attack their own people first. Riot years demonstrated that to myself years ago. The stories aren't being told because it doesn't fit the narrative.

Please identify a mass population governing system on the planet that 'does it better'. Note that the USA and the UK seem to be the choice of literally millions of other humans on this planet who rather not be where they are.

[THEPOSTMILLENNIAL] It was last Sunday when 39-year-old career criminal Darrell Brooks ...racist would-be rapper, actual wife beater and career criminal, responsible for the Waukesha Christmas parade massacre... was arrested over driving a SUV that sped through a crowded Christmas parade in Waukesha, Wisconsin. The local reporting out of Fox 6 in Milwaukee says that the online court records were amended to add an additional charge of first-degree intentional homicide. Documents in the Waukesha massacre case argue that Darrell Brooks intentionally drove through the crowd of people.
The sixth count of first-degree intentional homicide is added to the initial five charges made against Waukesha massacre suspect Darrell Brooks last week.
The timing of the circumstances had created a discrepancy since 8-year-old Jackson Sparks died from his injuries from the car attack around the same time court proceedings first went underway.
Visitation for Jackson’s funeral is scheduled for this Thursday at 4 p.m. with funeral services at 7 p.m. the same evening. Last week’s memorial for Jackson Sparks included photos of him in his baseball uniform, and his teammates put it together to honor their fellow player.
"When not playing baseball, or slam-dunking basketballs throughout the house, Jackson enjoyed fishing, catching frogs, and playing with his brother Tucker and his dog Qi’ra," his obituary says.
The attack in Waukesha renewed scrutiny on bail reform measures as Milwaukee District Attorney John Chisholm had admitted Darrell Brooks got out on an "inappropriately low" bail of $1000. That set of charges involved another altercation where it’s alleged Brooks used his car as a weapon.
Elsewhere: the Waukesha massacre suspect’s social media profile displayed a litany of racially radicalized posts, and his criminal history includes a previous threat to bomb a casino in Nevada.
Despite GoFundMe’s decision to remove a campaign trying to raise $5,000,000 USD in bail money for Darrell Brooks, activists have still attempted to crowdfund for the person suspected of killing six people and injuring dozens more.

Is Wisconsin a Death Penalty State?
Capital punishment in Wisconsin was abolished in 1853. Wisconsin was one of the earliest United States states to abolish the death penalty, and is the only state that has performed only one execution in its history. Wikipedia
So, all this carnage, lost and destroyed lives, will only bring x number of life sentences.
Therefore, any further stories on this tragedy is for entertainment purposes...

Styx suggests that the MSM memory holed this because they know they are complicit in egging on the BLM riots. It was salacious and drove clicks and they knew it.
So I ask, will the DA/Courts up the bail another $1 million?
Since Wis. does NOT have a DEATH PENALTY, after the states 1st and its only execution, ironically held in Kenosha.
So at best those seeking justice can only hope he slips in the prison shower. Where he would be found to have broken his neck, arms, fingers, legs, back, nose, lose his teeth and with multiple bars of soap in dark places.
Back to normal RANTING.
NOTE: The effort to repeal the state death penalty was lead by State Sen. Sholes (D, LR,GP), who just happened to be the editor of the Kenosha Telegraph newspaper. He used his newspaper to fight and repeal the WIS. death penalty.
BTW: Again I as. Where does the Bail $$$$ go once this pile of Pig Crap is placed in prison for life. Does BLOM get it or whom?

P2k, you make me laugh. I got kicked off of youtube for reminding Susan W of the fate of Mr. Streicher, who, after all, had only published a newspaper.

Youtube showed extreme sensitivity to this suggestion. My account was eliminated permanently with no warning. They must understand that execution is a real possibility. They will probably go to the gallows screaming "Big Lie!" and "Debunked by Snopes!"

Actually it was leading, question.
Since BLM leadership POSTED the requests for bail donations... Then BLOM gets $$$$$$$$ to fund its riots and political donations in 2022/2024, once his trial is over.

What is keeping the Kenosha court from trying Brooks separately over this death, and setting a separate $5 million bound for this additional charge? IMNSHO they should have set $5 million bail for each of the casualties.

Complete twin cities news blackout, refusing to cover.
[An Nahar] Prime Minister Najib Miqati visited Ain el-Tineh following his return from abroad to seek Speaker Nabih Knobby Berri ...Speaker of the Lebanese parliament, head of the Amal Shiite party aligned with Hezbollah, a not very subtle sock puppet of the Medes and Persians... ’s help in holding a Cabinet session in which "some" Shiite ministers would take part, informed sources said. The other Shiite ministers would "boycott" the session, the sources added, in remarks to Nidaa al-Watan newspaper published Tuesday.
Berri, however, maintained his insistence on the Shiite duo’s stance which calls for "resolving the issue of (Judge Tarek) Bitar first," the sources said.
Media reports meanwhile said that there could be a parliamentary "settlement" to the crisis resulting from the Shiite duo’s insistence on Bitar’s removal.
Under the reported settlement, the accused ex-PM and former ministers would be referred to a parliamentary panel of inquiry and a "bargain" would be made with the Free Patriotic Movement Despite its name a Christian party allied with Hizbullah, neither free nor particularly patriotic... under which it would provide a "Christian" cover to a parliamentary session that would approve the panel, the reports said.
The FPM would in return get "electoral gains, especially as to the amendments of the electoral law and the six expat seats," the reports added.
Nidaa al-Watan meanwhile said that "presidential and political consultations between the Grand Serail, Ain el-Tineh and Mirna Chalouhi will intensify over the next few hours and days to crystallize the outlines of the sought bargain, especially that the Parliament Speaker will soon call for a legislative session."
Noting that the session might be held next week, to approve a host of draft laws, the daily added that should the FPM agree to the proposed "bargain," Berri would then put the panel’s proposal to a vote.

The firefighters urged those who can help to secure water for the fire engines, as the wind caused the fire to spread.
The schools in the area evacuated the students because of the smoke, amid fears that the flames may reach electricity lines.
A Civil Defense firefighter was meanwhile injured and transferred to hospital.
"The wind speed is preventing us from controlling the fire," Director General of the Civil Defense Raymond Khattar decried, adding that the conditions are not favorable for the firefighters. "This fire is premeditated," Khattar said.
Beirut Governor Judge Marwan Abboud had asked the fire brigade to help the Civil Defense to douse the fire in Bshamoun that erupted Monday night and reignited today, Tuesday.
Environment Minister Nasser Yassine, who inspected the area, reiterated the calls for help and asked for water reinforcements from the governor of Mount Lebanon Hezbollahstan ...In 2020 Hezbollah blew up a considerable portion of Beirut and many of its inhabitants when its ammonium nitrate facility exploded. They blamed it on... somebody else. It wasn't them though. Trust them on that. And it ain't never coming to trial... He said that the wind had worsened the situation, endangering the safety of the team operating the army’s helicopters. "The helicopters were forced to stop," Yassine said.
