Armed Agents in Texas School District Arrest Concerned Parents in Their Own Homes
[Breitbart] The Round Rock Independent School District (RRISD) in Texas is using its own armed agents to arrest parents who speak out against the school board’s policies, according to Christopher Rufo in the City Journal.

Rufo, a senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute, said:

The battle lines are clear: on one side, the Biden administration, public school bureaucrats, and their armed agents; on the other, parents and families who oppose school closures, mask mandates, critical race theory and corruption. Public school officials have demonstrated a willingness to use police power to silence and intimidate their opponents.

Two fathers, Jeremy Story and Dustin Clark, had spoken out against the school board’s “alleged corruption and school officials’ hostility toward parents.” In August, while “produc[ing] evidence that the board had covered up an alleged assault by the superintendent, Hafedh Azaiez, against a mistress,” Story, a minister, was cut off midsentence as Azaiez ordered armed officers to remove him from the premises, according to Chronicles Magazine.

At issue in the next meeting was the district’s mask mandate. For this, Clark, a retired Army captain, and other parents sought to speak, but instead, the school board “locked the majority of parents out of the room, preventing them from speaking.” According to Rufo, while the parents were asking the school board to open the room for public comment on a major policy item, “school board president Amy Weir directed officers to remove Clark from school property.”

“As he was dragged out by two officers, Clark shouted to the audience: ‘It’s an open meeting! Shame on you. Communist! Communist! Let the public in!'” Rufo explained.

RRISD has it’s own police force, Rufo said, explaining: “with a three-layer chain of command, patrol units, school resource officers, a detective, and a K-9 unit.” And only a few days after Clark’s removal from school board premises, the school district “sent police officers to the homes of both men [Story and Clark], arrested them, and put them in jail on charges of ‘disorderly conduct with intent to disrupt a meeting.'” They were released the next morning.

According to Rufo, many parents believe the school board is trying to send a message: “if you speak out against us, we will turn you into criminals.”

(This is Round Rock, TX, sort of a northern appendage of the Peoples Republic of Travis County [Austin].)
This is what happens when you let school districts (and other entities) have their own little police forces.

Will it be a extra ballot printing job, like Fulton Co. GA. or a E-creation of the votes they need, like seen in a dozen plus Liberal controlled Metro areas?

#9  Understand, all armed and badged 'security' agents in Texas must be licensed as peace officers by the state. There's plenty of private security guards, but they're generally forbidden to carry a weapon (insurance issues) and have no arrest powers.
What it sounds like is somebody at the school district went down to the local JP (justice of the peace, bottom level county court) and filed a complaint, then decided that rather than pay for a deputy or constable to serve it, they sent some of their badged flunkies down for that personal touch.
Like I said, there's gonna be lawsuits. And restraining orders.

-Land of the Free
USA 3 BLM 0
[DonSurber] Our blessings are many on this Thanksgiving Day. Today is a good day for all of America to thank the Lord that the British settled here and founded our judicial system because there is none better in the world.

In the past week, that system has proved itself in Wisconsin, Florida, and Georgia as justice won the day in three murder trials in which a defendant claimed self-defense.

The most-publicized case was the acquittal of Kyle Rittenhouse, who killed two attackers and wounded a third during the Kenosha Riots of 2020. He was stomped, struck in the head with a skateboard twice, and finally had a gun pulled on him. Clearly, this was a matter of self-defense.

All three of his assailants (and there were many others in the mob that swarmed him) were convicted felons. The media lied about the circumstances as reporters followed the narrative scripted by Democrats to gin up black votes before the election.

No sooner was Rittenhouse's innocence declared in court when the BLM and media demanded, what if he were black?

He would get the same treatment because on the same day, a jury in Florida found a black man innocent because he shot in self-defense.

WEAR-TV reported, "Jurors found Andrew Coffee IV not guilty on charges of felony murder and attempted murder of a law enforcement officer, on Friday, determining he acted in self-defense when firing at deputies during a SWAT raid in 2017.

"When the gunfire ended, Coffee's girlfriend, 21-year-old Alteria Woods, was found dead. She had been caught in the crossfire, shot 10 times by deputies.

"The Indian River County Sheriff's Office called the verdict disappointing but maintains its deputies acted appropriately during the raid."

So much for the mindless speculation of the mindless media and other mindless supporters of BLM.

Then there were the three white men who claimed self-defense when a black man they were stalking grabbed their gun.

On Wednesday, CBS reported, "A jury has returned guilty verdicts against all three defendants in the murder of Ahmaud Arbery in Brunswick, Georgia. Travis McMichael, who fired the fatal shots, was convicted on all counts, including the charge of malice murder. His father Gregory McMichael and neighbor William 'Roddie' Bryan were convicted of felony murder and other charges.

"Arbery, a 25-year-old black man, was shot to death while jogging in the neighborhood in February 2020. Cellphone video showed the men chasing Arbery and cornering him with their pickup trucks before a scuffle that ended with Travis McMichael shooting Arbery at close range with a shotgun."

Justice persevered.

Let us review these three trials.

All five men were presumed innocent in the eyes of the law. All five men were represented by lawyers. In these trials, prosecutors had to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the men murdered the people they killed.

In each case, prosecutors had to prove intent. They failed in the Rittenhouse and Coffee cases because the men were defending themselves. In the case of the two McMichaels and Bryan, prosecutors proved intent.

Our justice system is a beautiful one that the communist black nationalists running BLM want to destroy. They would replace it with a mob justice in which misinformation in the media would decide a man's fate.

No thank you.

Goldman Slams Omicron Panic: ‘This Mutation Is Unlikely To Be More Malicious; No Reason For Portfolio Changes’
[ZeroHedge] One look at the ridiculous plunge across asset markets on Friday, which sent oil into one of its biggest tailspins in history (which as Goldman calculated would only make sense if the Omicron lockdowns are twice as bad as anything observed so far), and one would think that the Omicron variant - which as Edward Snowden so aptly put it "sounds like the name of an 80s movie's evil Robot King" (of course, the WHO had no choice but to skip the Xi variant, located right before Omicron in the Greek alphabet for obvious propaganda reasons) - is several times more aggressive and far more deadly than the Delta or any other Covid variant to date. Neither is the case, and in fact, as even Tom Peacock, one of the original Imperial College narrative-setters admitted, "it may turn out to be an odd cluster that is not very transmissable."

FBI And Other Agencies Paid Informants $548 Million In Recent Years With Many Committing Authorized Crimes
[Forbes] Federal agencies paid out at least $548 million to informants working for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), in recent years, according to government audits.

  • A few informants became millionaires, with some Amtrak and “parcel” delivery workers making nearly $1 million or more.

  • Many informants were authorized to commit “crimes” with the permission of their federal handlers. In a four-year period, there were 22,800 crime authorizations (2011-2014).

  • The FBI paid approximately $294 million (FY2012-2018), the DEA paid at least $237 million (FY2011-2015), and ATF paid approximately $17.2 million total (FY2012-2015) to informants.

Russian top spook denies Ukrainian invasion plans
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Rusvesna] Sergei Naryshkin, Director of the Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) of Russia, commented on the hysteria, which was being dispersed by the West, about Russia's allegedly impending "invasion" of Ukraine.

Naryshkin called all the statements about this on the air of the TV channel "Russia 1" fakes and lies, blown up into a big bubble.

"I must reassure everyone - nothing like that will happen. In general, everything that is happening now around this topic is, of course, such a malicious propaganda action by the US State Department," the head of the Russian intelligence service assessed the situation.

Naryshkin also explained the purpose of the action: the American foreign policy department "is pumping these fakes, this lie, and its allies, and the leaders of the media, and the leaders of the political science centers of the United States" so that this lie will endlessly multiply further.

"And they inflated a rather big bubble around this," the SVR director emphasized.

CA: News crew guard dies after being shot in attempted robbery
[10 News] Oh, now. THIS will be big shit... Only becuz it affects the "Media". RIP, and no disrespect to the deceased
A security guard has died after he was shot while protecting a San Francisco Bay Area television news crew.

News outlets said Saturday that the station was devastated by the loss of Kevin Nishita.

The former police officer was an armed guard who provided security for many reporters in the region.

He was shot in the abdomen during an attempted robbery of KRON-TV's camera equipment in Oakland on Wednesday.

The news crew was covering a recent smash-and-grab robbery of a clothing store.

Parts of California have been struck by a rash of organized retail thefts in which bands of thieves break into high-end stores and snatch merchandise.

US Navy Stingray drone to be tested on carrier
By Colton Jones

[DefenceBlog] The U.S. Navy has announced that its Carrier-Based MQ-25 Stingray Tanker Drone program is getting ready for its first carrier demonstration.

According to a recent service news release from Naval Air Systems Command, the U.S. Navy and Boeing are completing ground tests of the MQ-25 Stingray test asset at Chambers Field onboard Naval Station Norfolk, Virginia.

"The Stingray is the future of naval aviation and the true revolutionary step of the Air Wing of the Future. MQ-25 represents the first aircraft carrier-based unmanned air vehicle (UAV)," said Rear Adm. John Meier, Commander, Naval Air Force Atlantic.

"The ground testing is another step toward the teaming of manned and unmanned aircraft platforms. Integrating platforms like the MQ-25 into the air wing will increase their lethality and reach."

The MQ-25 Stingray introduces unmanned aerial refueling and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities to the air wing that will extend the range, operational capacity and lethality of the Carrier Air Wing and Carrier Strike Group.

Russia unveils improved version of its new armored personnel carrier
By Dylan Malyasov

[DefenceBlog] Russia’s Military Industrial Company (VPK) has unveiled an improved version of its new K-17 Bumerang armored personnel carrier during Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Alexey Krivoruchko’s visit to the company facility.

Alexey Krivoruchko on Thursday reviewed the production of armored vehicles at the Arzamas machine-building plant of the Military Industrial Company, where, in particular, he got acquainted with the progress of work on the latest armored vehicles on the Boomerang platform.

A new version of the K-17 Bumerang armored personnel carrier with additional armour elements was displayed publicly for the first time.

K-17 Bumerang is reported to be a replacement for the iconic Soviet BTR-80. The new vehicle is equipped with 12.7 mm machine gun.

#2  Putin's Russia is not Woke. For all their flaws and problems, the Russians believe in their civilization and are not apologizing or kneeling or flagellating themselves over their history.

They were weak and reeling for ten years, but the last decades have seen Russia's vitality and confidence return. Their population is steadily increasing, to the point where the Russian fertility rate now exceeds the white American rate (1.8 for RUS vs 1.6 for white USA).

Ours is a civilization in decline. We are decadent in every sense of the world.

Russia at a minimum has stabilized, and may, if Brandon's idiotic energy policies continue, see its fortunes and power rise apace in the next three years at least as the oil price approaches and surpasses $100/bbl.

#6  Tw, RUS and USA are moving in opposite directions. The tend is not our friend.

Similar to Russia in the decade after the end of the USSR, deaths of despair are now soaring in the US. American longevity especially for working class whites is deckining.

More and more white Americans don't want to marry. College educated white American women increasingly don't want to bear or raise children.

Bless you and your family, but you and we are trying desperately to row against a powerful current in this country.

Russia survived despair and nihilism and us now starting to come back and recover its pride and strength. (For their part, the Chinese remember the horrors of their own recent time of troubles and are resisting the madness of America's Woke cultural revolution.)

The point is that ours is now unmistakably a sick and decadent culture. We have no right whatsoever to keep on bashing Russia. It's senseless and self-defeating.

Israel Unveils ‘Secret’ Commando Unit in Gaza
[AAWSAT] The Israeli Army Command has revealed that a secret commando war unit had operated in the Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamaswith about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
Strip during the war last May.

This revelation came when the army command decided to honor the secret units that operated in the enclave in the recent war, Yedioth Ahronoth reported on Thursday.

Army Chief of Staff General Aviv Kochavi will honor the unit members, the newspaper added.

"These are previously undisclosed units that carried out major, complex and secret operations in Gaza during the last war," Kochavi was quoted as saying.

He will also honor combat and intelligence units for operating in Gaza and other fronts, Ynet news noted.

Military sources refused to give any information that would reveal anything about the nature of the unit’s work and what makes it different from the other units.

However,
the difference between stupidity and genius is that genius has its limits...
they affirmed that it mastered the sensitive and risky operations, and for this reason, it will be granted an award of excellence.

Turkish forces, PKK clash in Erbil's Sidakan area: mayor
[Rudaw] Clashes broke out between Turkish forces and the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) within the borders of Erbil province on Saturday morning, a local mayor said. The skirmish comes as the Kurdistan Region is seeing thousands of its citizens, mainly the youth, take risky journeys to Europe and recent student protests that shook the streets.

Turkey and the PKK clashed in the mountainous area of Lelkan in Sidakan sub-district, Sidakan mayor Ihsan Chalabi told Rudaw.

The fight started at 10:00 am and lasted for one hour. According to Chalabi, Turkey also bombed the Lelkan heights.

There are no reports of injuries or casualties.

The PKK is an armed group fighting for greater rights for Kurds in Turkey, with several bases in the Kurdistan Region. Turkey frequently carries out cross-border ground and air offensives against alleged locations of the PKK, which Ankara considers to be a terrorist organization. In April, Turkey launched the twin operations Claw-Lightning and Claw-Thunderbolt in northern Duhok province.

Sidakan, 90 kilometers northeast of Erbil city, is in Kurdistan Region’s mountains with Iran to the east and Turkey to the north. The area is frequently bombarded by Turkey and Iran due to the presence of PKK fighters and Kurdish opposition groups from Iran.

Last month, a suspected Turkish drone struck Bradost mountain range, targeting PKK’s activities in Sidakan. In September, Iran attacked the border areas of Choman, Sidakan, and Haji Omran, targeting alleged bases of Kurdish opposition groups.

Civilian populations and the environment have been severely damaged by the Turkey-PKK conflict. Several people have been killed, thousands of acres of land have been scorched, and people’s houses and livestock have been hit. There have been over 400 military incursions into the Kurdistan Region in the first nine months of this year, according to the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG).

The KRG has repeatedly called on both Iran and Turkey to respect its sovereignty and for the Kurdish groups to stop using its territory to launch attacks on neighbors.

13-year-old fatally shot boy, 5, while making a video
[STARTRIBUNE] A 13-year-old fatally shot a 5-year-old boy at a Brooklyn Park residence while several children were trying to make a video to post on social media, police say.

The 13-year-old boy was arrested Friday morning and being held at the Hennepin County Juvenile Detention Center. He was related to the younger boy but the two were not siblings, said Brooklyn Park Deputy Chief Mark Bruley.

Officers were called about 10:20 p.m. Thursday to a home on the 8000 block of Florida Avenue N. about a shooting that injured a child. Police arrived to find the boy had a single gunshot to the head.

Life-saving efforts were unsuccessful, Bruley said.

An initial investigation found that the 13-year-old and several other juveniles were inside the residence handling a gun to make the video. At some point, the 13-year-old accidentally fired the gun and a bullet hit the victim, Bruley said.

Another 13-year-old, an 8-year-old and another 5-year-old also were in the room. Police may pursue charges if they find the owner of the gun did not properly lock it up, according to Bruley.

The child is the fifth person who has been fatally shot in Brooklyn Park this year. This year nearly 130 incidents of shots fired and 23 people hit have been reported, according to the city website. Last year, two people were killed by gunfire, 38 people were stuck and 102 incidents of shots fired was recorded.

"We're seeing record numbers of shots fired, gun calls, guns being taken off the streets — the violence is unlike what we have seen before regarding weapons and guns," Bruley said. "It feels like (accidental shootings) are up because all too often we're going to calls involving guns, shots fired, whether it be intentional or accidental or other."

Advanced T-14 tanks will be delivered to the Russian Army by 2022
by Dylan Malyasov

[DefenceBlog] Russian military officials again claimed that advanced T-14 Armata main battle tanks will be delivered to the Russian Army by year’s end.

"Twenty T-14 tanks based on the Armata heavy multiservice tracked platform are planned for delivery before the end of 2021," Head of the 47th Military Representative Office Major Dmitry Repin said, specifying that the armor would arrive for the Army’s operational units.

"Under the terms of a state contract, the armor’s serial deliveries to the troops are implemented before the end of state trials. Now work is underway to produce a pilot batch before the end of the state trials to get the experience of operational evaluation in the troops," Repin said.

The military representative did not specify the units that would receive the Armata tanks, noting that "This will be determined by the [Defense Ministry’s] Main Automotive and Armor Department."

German euthanasia clinics refusing unvaccinated customers
[Spectator] Irony has been declared many times in this pandemic but now, from Covid-riddled Germany comes the final proof: you can't kill yourself now unless you've been vaccinated. As European countries battle to limit the spread of the virus, Verein Sterbehilfe – the German Euthanasia Association – has issued a new directive, declaring it will now only help those who have been vaccinated or recovered from the disease. In a statement, the association said:

“Euthanasia and the preparatory examination of the voluntary responsibility of our members willing to die require human closeness. Human closeness, however, is a prerequisite and breeding ground for coronavirus transmission. As of today, the 2G rule applies in our association, supplemented by situation-related measures, such as quick tests before encounters in closed rooms.

'Close encounters in closed rooms' – what a fabulous German euphemism for assisted suicide. The term '2G' meanwhile refers to a system which only allows free movement for leisure activities for the geimpft oder genese— 'vaccinated or recovered.' God forbid that a person without the jab should try to end it all – talk about a vaccine passport to the afterlife...

Germany: Post-Merkel government set to ease migration, citizenship rules
The necessary number of German voters will be getting what they voted for, good and hard. May the price of their choice not be too high for all who have to pay it.
[DW] Dual citizenship, family reunions for refugees and more visa opportunities are a few of the pledges made by the parties of the new coalition. Activists and state integration ministers alike had long backed such changes.

Among the promises made in the 177-page coalition agreement, which was announced by the center-left Social Democrats (SPD), the environmentalist Greens and the neoliberal Free Democrats (FDP) on Wednesday, is a radical overhaul to German citizenship and migration laws.

"We want a new beginning in migration and integration policy as is right for a modern country of immigration," the text reads.

Well, This Is Good News (Covid): Naturally Immune People at Little Risk of Reinfection, Severe Disease From COVID-19:
[NTD] People who recovered from COVID-19 are at little risk of contracting the disease again, according to a study published this week.

Researchers in Qatar examined a cohort of over 353,000 people using national databases that contain information about patients with polymerase-chain-reaction-confirmed infections.

The studied population contracted COVID-19, the disease caused by the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus, between Feb. 28, 2020, and April 28, 2021.

Reinfections were counted if a person tested positive at least 90 days after their first infection.

After excluding approximately 87,500 people with a vaccination record, researchers found those with immunity from having recovered from COVID-19 had little risk of reinfection and severe cases of the disease.

Just 1,304 reinfections were identified. That means 0.4 percent of people with natural immunity and without a vaccination record got COVID-19 a second time.

The study was published in the New England Journal of Medicine. It was funded by Weill Cornell Medicine—Qatar, Qatar’s Ministry of Public Health, the Hamad Medical Corporation, and Sidra Medicine

#2  "natural immunity" is a fuzzy term. It can apply to people who have survived a documented Covid-19 infection. It can apply to people who have survived a UNdocumented Covid-19 infection (i.e., they had the disease but were never tested/diagnosed as having it). It can apply to people who basically won't ever get the infection even though they've never been vaccinated or never been infected -- there are some individuals who can't contract AIDS or bubonic plague etc.

#4  Jay Bhattacharya of Stanford on the Errors and Incompetence of Fauci and the Public Health Authorities - interview with Peter Robinson

Dr. Jay Bhattacharya: That's the key point, Peter. ... the mortality rate is important, but the key point is that the strategy used to control the disease [was misguided and bound to fail].

Up to that point, the strategy, the idea was that if we could find all of the cases of it, test enough, isolate the people that have it so they don't pass the disease on, then we'll suppress the disease down to zero. That worked, I think, with SARS one, it worked with Ebola, it has worked in the past with other diseases.

Peter Robinson: It's not a crazy idea.

Jay Bhattacharya: No, it's not a crazy idea. The problem is that if you have a situation in mid April, 2020, where 3, 4% of large Metro centers had evidence of the disease already, you know the disease is very, very infectious, that's a strategy that cannot work. At that point what folks should have realized, including folks like Fauci and the CDC should have realized, is that a strategy to stop the disease from spreading down to zero was not possible.

On the US & UK public health authorities' complete misunderstanding of herd immunity:

Jay Bhattacharya: Jay Bhattacharya: Yeah, I think [former UK Minister of Public Health Matt] Hancock was using [herd immunity] as a synonym for zero COVID. The COVID's gone away because enough people are infected.

[But] COVID is a coronavirus. The other coronaviruses that are in common circulation in human populations produce colds. And they're controlled by herd immunity. They're not always increasing exponentially so that everyone gets it. What happens is they rise and fall with the season. Enough people get it and what herd immunity means is when one person has the infection, they spread it to one or fewer additional people.

Peter Robinson: So you don't get an exponential growth?

Jay Bhattacharya: Right. You see declining cases, for instance.
... When it's out of season, you can have a relatively few people with immunity and you won't see it growing. So herd immunity is not a synonym for zero COVID. I think [former UK Minister of Public Health Matt] Hancock, I think, that's the mistake he made there.

The other thing about herd immunity with these disease is, it was clear in October of that year of 2020, and even more clear now that if you are infected, you actually gain substantial protection against re-infection.

So there was a study that was just released actually recently, but verifies a whole long line of studies. At one year... This is out of Italy. At one year after infection, 0.3% are reinfected. So you're infected, you recover from COVID and within the context of the full year, three out of 1,000 get reinfected. And almost always, it's less severe than the first time, because your body still remembers how to fight it off.

#5  I note that there seems to be no interest in identifying the unvaxxed who have had low level infection of Covid and show no symptoms. They don't understand herd immunity.

#12  reinfection after 90 days seems like a short time frame in which false positives can occur. It has been shown that people can test positive for Covid long after, perhaps many months, after the initial infection. I would bet most of those 1304 "reinfections" were false positives from initial infection.

And yes to #10, the are definitely hiding negative vaxx data from us.

It truly seems like they want 100% of people to have the jab so there is no meaningful population of unvaxxed to have for long term comparison. They probably know their decisions have been terrible but better to have everyone in the same boat together. A decent cohort of unvaxxed could provide an unwelcome data set for future analysis.

#13  one other thing, Where are the public service announcements on what to do if you get infected and are not vaxxed? I hear vaxx psa's 50 times a day on the radio and tv but not one on how to lessen your chances of getting very sick. Nothing on vitamin d, zinc, vitamin c, HCQ, Ivermectin, aspirin, mouthwashes and nasal sprays than can help reduce the viral load if used multiple times a day, monoclonal antibodies, etc, etc, etc.

The last mention of treatment was a $500/dose Pfizer pill. Great for Fauxci's friends at Pfizer.

And how about a single study (in the US)comparing a vaccinated group vs. a group using Ivermectin as prophylaxis or treatment? You wont see it because they already know they wont like the results.

To fund terror, Pak pushing larger quantity of drugs: J&K Police
[OneIndia] Pakistain is pushing a huge quantity of drugs into Jammu and Kashmir
...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain. After partition, the Paks grabbed half of it and call it Azad (Free) Kashmir. The remainder they refer to as "Indian Occupied Kashmir". They have fought four wars with India over it, the score currently 4-0 in New Delhi's favor. After 72 years of this nonsense, India cut the Gordian knot in 2019, removing the area's special status, breaking off Ladakh as a separate state, and allowing people from other areas to settle (or in the case of the Pandits, to resettle) there....
for funding terror here in a planned manner and getting our youths falling prey to the menace, Jammu and Kashmir police chief Dilbag Singh said, PTI reported.

The J&K director general of police made the remark while presiding over a specialised training programme for J&K Police officers held in collaboration with the Narcotics Control Bureau in Jammu.

Referring to the seizure of 52 kg of heroin on Thursday at Jajar Kotli and huge quantities of various drugs earlier in Poonch, Baramulla, Kupwara and other border areas, the DGP said, "Pakistain is pushing huge quantities of drugs for terror funding in a planned manner and getting our youths involved in the menace to satisfy its evil intentions."

I have often wondered in cases like this.
Is it the Citizens of the Country?
Or just the Leadership shoving them in to a confrontational direction to either trim population or provide deflection from other issues.

Because if its Leadership?
Why not just use surgical strike teams and eliminate the Rabid Leadership and restore peace saving $,$$$,$$$,$$$,$$$'s and countless lives?

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
Government, Turkey-backed opposition exchange sporadic clashes in Syria’s northwest
[NPASYRIA] On Saturday, different areas of the de-escalation zone in northwest Syria witnessed mutual shelling between Syrian government forces and Ottoman Turkish-backed armed opposition factions, amid intense flight of Russian drones over the region.

The government forces bombed the villages and towns of al-Fatirah, Kafr Oweid, Sfuhen, Kansafra, and the outskirts of al-Bara in Zawiya Mountain, south of Idlib, with heavy artillery and rockets, North Press reported military sources of the opposition.

The villages of al-Enkawi and Khirbet al-Naqus in the Ghab Plain, west of Hama, were hit by the government’s shelling. The outskirts of Tedil, Kafr Ta’al and Sheikh Aqil, west of Aleppo, were also bombed. No casualties were reported though, the sources added.

Meanwhile,
...back at the game, the Babe was wondering why the baseball kept getting bigger and bigger. Finally it hit him...
al-Fateh al-Mubin Operations Room bombed the government forces’ positions in the towns of Kafranbel, Ma’arat al-Numan and the villages of al-Dar al-Kabira and al-Malaja, south of Idlib, with heavy artillery and rockets, a military source of the National Front for Liberation told North Press.

The government forces’ sites near Besatroun, Quptan al-Jabal and the Regiment 46, west of Aleppo, were also hit by al-Fateh al-Mubin, according to the same sources.

For months, areas in Syria’s northwest have been witnessing mutual shelling between parties to the conflict in different areas amid news on government military reinforcements to different areas in the region.

Although the de-escalation zone in northwest Syria is subject to a Russian-Ottoman Turkish ceasefire agreement signed in March 2020, the area witnesses frequent mutual bombardment despite the entry of the ceasefire into force.

Turkish forces, Turkish-backed factions carry out attack on Syria’s Ain Issa: SDF
[NPASYRIA] On Friday, Media Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) said that the Ottoman Turkish forces and the Syrian factions affiliated with them conducted an attack north of Ain Issa, northeast Syria.

"The Ottoman Turkish occupation and its mercenaries conducted a ground attack on the village of Sayda, north of Ain Issa," the center added.

"Our fighters countered the attack leading to violent mostly peaceful festivities that are still ongoing," the center noted.

On Saturday, SDF said that the Ottoman Turkish forces and the Ottoman Turkish-backed armed factions are continuing their provocative moves in the countryside of Sere Kaniye (Ras al-Ain) and Tel Abyad using heavy weapons and drones.

The Ottoman Turkish occupation shelled the villages of Tel Amir, north the town of Zergan, with heavy weapons, forcing villagers to stop working in their agricultural fields," the SDF Media Center said on November 15.

-Great Cultural Revolution
French academy resists 'Taliban-like minority working to undermine the Western world'
[TheArtNewspaper] 'Taliban-like minority working to undermine the Western world': uproar after French Academy in Rome moves to remove tapestries linked to colonialism.

After a media campaign, French art historians and scholars sign a petition accusing the Villa Medici of "cancelling culture".

The prestigious French Academy in Rome in the Villa Medici, founded by Louis XIV in 1666, has been accused of "cancelling culture" after meeting with some of its residents who are calling for the removal of tapestries in the Grand Salon.

Sent to Rome from France in 1726, the tapestries were inspired by a series of exotic paintings offered to the Sun King by the former Dutch governor of Brazil, portraying—in his own words—“the whole nation”; its flora and fauna, inhabitants, cities and fortresses.

Due to their links with Europe’s imperial past, the tapestries' presence in the villa has been called into question by some of the young artists of the French Academy. On 30 September, the villa organised a symposium with residents and historians to discuss the background of these panels and their meaning at the time of their creation and today.

Now, more than 150 art historians and scholars have reacted to the news by signing a petition protesting against this “purification” resulting from “hatred fuelled by extremists”. In France, the term “épuration” recalls the great purge in 1945 of those who collaborated with the German occupying forces, but it is also used to describe ethnic cleansing.

France has largely resisted calls to remove problematic statues and works of art. President Emmanuel Macron even pledged that "the Republic will not erase any trace or name from its history, will not forget any of its works and will not [dismantle] its statues", even though he admitted in an interview with CBS that, "in a certain way, we have to deconstruct our history to get rid of racism".

The reaction to the Villa Medici's meeting was sparked by Didier Rykner, the chief editor of La tribune de l'art, a website, who vowed to "fight with all his might the cancel culture that is gaining strength in France." He said: "For us, it's simple, there is no debate -- it has no place in the domains of heritage, art history or museums."

Somali migrants return from Libya
[Garowe] At least 32 Somalis have been facilitated by the International Organization Migration [IOM] back home after a long stint in Libya, a country that has been struggling with internal political wrangles.

Quite a number of Somalis have been living in Libya, a once stable country in northern Africa, before the fall of Muammar Qadaffy
...a reminder that a single man with an idea can change an entire nation, usually for the worse...
. Just like Somalia, Libya has been battling with internal political wrangles.

"Currently, there are nearly 6,000 Somali migrants colonists in Libya, many of whom are still stranded," said Federico Soda, Chief of Mission, IOM Libya. "The VHR program is a lifeline for these migrants colonists opting to return home and rebuild their lives."

Reports indicate that 10 migrants colonists arrived in Mogadishu and 22 in Hargeisa, on 18 and 23 November, respectively. Upon their arrival in the country, the 32 returnees were received by staff from IOM Somalia and provided with post-arrival assistance including basic medical, psychosocial, and counseling support.

The returnees are also eligible for in-kind reintegration support which can be in the form of social, psychosocial, and economic assistance. Child migrant returnees qualify for assistance enabling them to return to school. Livelihood support can also be extended to the families of minors.

Mariam Yassin, the Special Envoy for Moslem colonists Migrants and Children’s Rights in the Office of the Federal Prime Minister of Somalia, welcomed the group of 10 returnees at Mogadishu’s Aden Adde International Airport.

"It was an overwhelming experience for all of us to see you back home. However,
a person who gets all wrapped up in himself makes a mighty small package...
there are so many young men and women stranded in Libya, and a lot still needs to be done in terms of prevention. Every migrant has the right to go back home in a safe and dignified manner," she said.

Twenty-two-year-old Mohammed Abdi Hussein was one of the 10 returnees. He had left Mogadishu with the intention of reaching Europe. The journey took him through Æthiopia, then Sudan, and into the Libyan desert where smugglers demanded that his parents transfer more money or else they would kill him.

Not long after, "they told us they would take us on a boat and that we would reach Europe." But that was not to be. "After months in the desert, we were taken to a house in Tripoli
...a confusing city, one end of which is located in Lebanon and the other end of which is the capital of Libya. Its chief distinction is being mentioned in the Marine Hymn...
. Then suddenly, they hid from us, and I never saw them again," Mohammed said.

Left to his own devices, Mohammed said he decided to continue with his journey. "I tried to join a group of Somali migrants colonists sailing on a boat to Italia. The boatmen took $1,000 USD from me. When the boat was about to sail, we were apprehended by the Libyan Coast Guard and taken to prison."

Police fire tear gas at anti-government protesters in Burkina
[AlAhram] Police in Burkina Faso
...The country in west Africa that they put where Upper Volta used to be. Its capital is Oogadooga, or something like that. Its president is currently Blaise Compaoré, who took office in 1987 and will leave office feet first, one way or the other...
fired tear gas to disperse hundreds of protesters at an unsanctioned anti-government rally in the capital on Saturday, an AFP journalist reported.

Anti-riot police fired tear gas to prevent the demonstrators from gathering for the rally in a square in the centre of Ouagadougou, where substantial police and security forces had been deployed and all shops closed.

The crowds had wanted to demonstrate against the failure of President Roch Marc Christian Kabore to quell jihadist violence that has engulfed the country, but city authorities banned the gathering.

One of the protesters, 28-year-old Fabrice Sawadogo, said that "after seven years of failure to prevent the terrorist attacks... it is time to ask the government to go."

The "incompetent" administration "has to admit it has failed," he said.

An alliance of three groups called the November 27 Coalition had called for people to take to the streets on Saturday "in a peaceful atmosphere to denounce growing insecurity and demand the departure" of Kabore.

But other civil society groups distanced themselves from the protests, refusing, they said, "to be complicit with those who want to push the country into chaos".

Kabore has been facing mounting anger over failures to stem a jihadist insurgency that swept in from neighbouring Mali.

Groups linked to al-Qaeda and the so-called Islamic State

They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
group have plagued the landlocked Sahel nation since 2015, killing about 2,000 people and displacing 1.4 million from their homes.

An attack on November 14 saw hundreds of fighters storm a gendarmerie camp at Inata in the north of the country, killing 53 police and four others.

It was the biggest daily loss among the security forces in the history of the insurgency.

PA steps up crackdown on Hamas, Islamic Jihad members
[JPost] Paleo Unity Fever™, catch it!
The alternative being surrendering the West Bank to become a second Hamas fiefdom. About time they stopped fussing about The Joooooos and started focussing on their existential enemy.
The Palestinian Authority has stepped up its security crackdown on members of Hamas and other Palestinian factions in the West Bank, drawing sharp criticism from the groups, political activists and human rights organizations.

In separate statements, Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), whose members are the prime targets of the ongoing clampdown, called for an end to the measures taken by the PA security forces.

A PA official in Ramallah said that the security measures were designed to "enforce law and order" and "prevent attempts by thugs and armed gangs to undermine the Palestinian Authority and disturb the peace."

The official dismissed accusations that the PA leadership was exploiting the security crackdown to target political rivals and silence critics.

In the past week, PA security officers prevented Hamas, PIJ and PFLP supporters from carrying their flags and banners in public. The officers also arrested several Hamas and PIJ members in different parts of the West Bank.

On Friday, PA plainclothes security officers intercepted a funeral procession in Bethlehem and confiscated flags and banners belonging to Hamas, PIJ and PFLP.

The incident took place during the funeral of 14-year-old Amjad Abu Sultan, who was killed by IDF soldiers last month as he was trying to throw a Molotov cocktail at Israeli vehicles from an area that overlooks Route 60. His body was handed over to the Palestinians last week.

On Thursday, PA security officers raided the town of Tammun in the Jenin area and confiscated PIJ banners during a reception held by the group for Azmi Bani Odeh, a local resident who had just been released from Israeli prison.

Odeh was arrested by Israeli authorities shortly after his brother, Saddam, was killed during a clash with IDF soldiers. Saddam, 26, was known as a leading PIJ activist.

Earlier last week, PA security officers attacked a number of Palestinians during a reception in Ramallah for Mu’tasem Zaloum, a Hamas member who was released from Israeli prison. The officers confiscated Hamas flags and summoned several participants for interrogation. They also used tear gas to disperse the Hamas supporters.

A similar incident took place in the village of Bala’ah, near Tulkarm, where Palestinian security forces prevented residents from holding a reception for Hani Barabrah, another Hamas activist released from Israeli prison.

Three killed as French army convoy runs into fresh trouble in Niger: Mayor
[AlAhram] A French military convoy heading to Mali on Saturday ran into more trouble in a town in Niger after being delayed for more than a week by protests in Burkina Faso
...The country in west Africa that they put where Upper Volta used to be. Its capital is Oogadooga, or something like that. Its president is currently Blaise Compaoré, who took office in 1987 and will leave office feet first, one way or the other...
, with the local mayor reporting three deaths and 18 maimed.

The supply convoy, which arrived in Africa in Ivory Coast last week, has crossed Burkina Faso and on Friday entered Niger on its way to central Mali.

Its destination is a base at Gao -- a hub of La Belle France's Barkhane operation, which is shoring up allies in the Sahel against a jihadist insurgency that began in northern Mali nearly a decade ago.

But festivities reportedly broke out at Tera in western Niger on Saturday which the mayor said left "three people dead and 18 maimed," including four who had to be evacuated for treatment in the capital Niamey, 200 kilometres (120 miles) away.

The French army said it was in contact with the Nigerien authorities, but was "not in a position to confirm this toll at this stage".

"No French soldier was maimed," French army front man Pascal Ianni told AFP. But "two civilian drivers in the convoy were hurt by stones and some civilian trucks were damaged."

"The convoy halted last night at Tera. This morning, when they wanted to continue the road to Niamey, they were stopped by 1,000 demonstrators and a violent mostly peaceful group among them tried to take over the trucks," he said.

WARNING SHOTS
Niger gendarmes fired teargas to disperse the protesters, he added.

Later, mid-morning, "tensions soared again" and the gendarmes and French soldiers "fired warning shots", Ianni said before the more than 100-vehicle convoy was able to move off.

He denied "false information" posted on social networks that the French army had killed dozens of civilians at Tera.

After entering Burkina Faso last week, the convoy was slowed by protesters at Bobo-Dioulasso, the country's second largest city, and then in Ouagadougou, the capital.

On November 19, several thousand demonstrators blocked the convoy at Kaya, about 100 km north of Ouagadougou.

The following day, local sources said four people had suffered gunshot wounds in Kaya, in circumstances that remain unclear -- French and Burkinabe soldiers fired warning shots and tear gas to disperse demonstrators.

Protest organisers said they wanted to expose flaws in Burkina Faso's security accords with former colonial ruler La Belle France.

But rumours have also spread on social media -- which were recounted by protesters in Kaya -- claiming the convoy was in fact carrying weapons for the jihadists.

Burkinabe Foreign Minister Alpha Barry dismissed the rumours on Wednesday and pointed to what he said was La Belle France's long history of help at times of crisis.

On Friday Niger President Mohammed Bazoum had expressed his "gratitude" to La Belle France and applauded its "sacrifices" in the Sahel.

Austrian police arrest 15 suspected people smugglers
[DW] The Syrians, Lebanese, and Egyptian migrants colonists had planned to reach Germany after being dropped off in Austria, police said. Hundreds of migrants colonists paid up to €5,000 each ($5,600) for the ride.
Where are these people getting the money to pay for this?
Austrian police have arrested 15 people accused of being part of a criminal group that made €2.5 million ($2.8 million) for smuggling 700 migrants colonists into the country.

The group allegedly drove the migrants colonists from the Serbian-Hungarian border to the north of Vienna from where they could travel onward to Germany.

HOW WERE THE SMUGGLERS DISCOVERED?
Austrian authorities first opened an investigation into the criminal network last month.

Police said they arrested the 15 smugglers on November 16 when 25 vehicles carrying 200 to 300 migrants colonists were intercepted in vehicle checks in Lower Austria and at a Vienna hotel. Police seized 14 vehicles in the operation.

The investigation found the ring removed the back seats and sprayed over the back windows to conceal the 12 to 15 people they carried in each car or van.

Drivers were recruited in Moldova, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan through social media ads offering up to €3,000 (about $4,000) in monthly wages. The drivers were all said to have tried to escape upon capture.

The Syrian, Lebanese and Egyptian migrants colonists each paid €4,000-€5,000 (about $4,500 to $5,600) to be driven from the Serbian-Hungarian border through Slovakia and the Czech Republic to northeastern Austria.

WHERE DID THE MIGRANTS COLONISTS WANT TO GO?
Most of the migrants colonists said they intended to then travel to Germany.

A third of them decided to apply for asylum in Austria, police front man Johann Baumschlager told the German press agency. The rest had probably traveled to Germany already, he added.

The EU introduced a new migration pact in October that tightens up on illegal entry into the bloc while allowing skilled workers greater access to the job market.

Authorities have arrested over 330 people for trafficking people in Austria this year.

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
Russia recruits former Syrian fighters loyal to Iran in Aleppo
[NPASYRIA] Muhammad Ajib, a pseudonym for an IDP from al-Fou’ah town in Idlib countryside and lives in northern Aleppo, north Syria, is awaiting a Russian security company to inform him of the date of his flight to the city of Benghazi in Libya to guard oil companies there, after he quit fighting alongside an Iranian-backed faction and joined the Russian forces.

Other 17 fighters also quit Iranian-backed militias and joined the Russian forces, a step described by Ajib as "necessary."

By the time military positions of Iranian-backed factions are endangered, Russian forces in Syria attract the youths to recruit in their own forces.

RISKS OF BEING THE TARGET
Ajib joined the Local Defense Forces loyal to Iran
...The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both...
in al-Fou’ah, Idlib, when he was 18.

"We fought alongside Iran in all the battles that took place there before we get out following the Four Towns Agreement in 2017," Ajib said.

According to the agreement, locals from the predominantly Shia towns of al-Fou’ah and Kafriya were evacuated to Aleppo city, in turn, the Syrian government forces broke the siege imposed on Zabadani and Madaya towns in Rif Dimashq.

In the same year, Ajib and other young men joined an Iranian-backed faction in al-Bukamal city in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor.

"In al-Bukamal-based stronghold, there was constant fear Israeli Arclight airstrike
...KABOOM!...
s and others suspected to be American would target our positions because the strikes used to be accurate and abrupt," Ajib added.
Damn those Joos and their deadly accuracy! (And also the Americans!)
"Damn the Big Satan and Little Satan!"
The Russian firm that offered the Syrian youths ’tempting offers’ refrains from saying its real name, instead it says it will settle the security status of the wanted people, according to Ajib.

By joining the Russian forces, Ajib could escape the danger of fighting with Iranian-backed militias and solve the problem of defaulting the reserve and mandatory service of the Syrian army.

FINANCIAL INCENTIVES
Nawar al-Ali, 30, is a pseudonym for a mechanic young man in Aleppo, started his first job with the Russian forces in Libya six months ago.

He was sent to Libya for three months during which he earned $3,600, "a high salary" he says compared to the worse living conditions the Syrians live.

Al-Ali signed a new contract with the Russian forces and is awaiting to be sent to Libya again as a mechanic.

Financial incentives push many youths to join Russian-sponsored forces, al-Ali said.

Before joining Russian forces, al-Ali used to be an employee in Iranian sites in Sheikh Najjar area, northeast Aleppo. He would stay there twenty days in a month and earn only 100,000 SYP ($35).

"Working with Iranian forces was perilous. Israeli airstrikes targeted sites close to my place of work several times and destroyed them completely. Some of my colleagues even passed away," al-Ali added.

"Low salaries and lack of incentives make fighting alongside Iranian factions unavailing. Working with the Russian forces is like a life preserver for me," he noted.

Assaf Hussein, 34, a pseudonym for a young man who hails from the Shiite town of Nubl, in Aleppo northern countryside, said when he first joined an Iranian-backed faction five years ago, he used to earn well. He and other young men were also motivated by religious propaganda the Iranian factions continue to use to attract the youths.

"It turned out later that recruiting the young men through usage of religious motivation was the only pretext Iran used to gain interests in Syria. Plus, the low salaries it offers are not enough to sustain," Hussein said.

Many fighters quit Iranian-backed militias and join the Russian forces because of tempting salaries and safer work conditions.

Afghanistan
EU Denies Recognition of Talib Govt, Pledges Engagement
[ToloNews] The European Union
...the successor to the Holy Roman Empire, only without the Hapsburgs and the nifty uniforms and the dancing...
said that it would not recognize the current Afghan government but pledged to remain engaged in order to avert economic and social collapse in Afghanistan.

In a statement issued by the European Commission following the 13th ASEM Summit via videoconference, the EU’s president von der Leyen said that the world needed to stand by the people of Afghanistan.

"Finally, we have decided to strengthen our engagement on issues affecting regional stability. And this brings me to my last point: That is Afghanistan. The European Union does not recognize the new regime... but we need to prevent the imminent economic and social collapse that the country faces," she said.

"We need to stand by the people of Afghanistan. This is why, last month, we announced a package worth EUR 1 billion, including EUR 300 million in humanitarian aid. The European Union will keep on engaging with the countries in the region," Leyen added.

The summit was hosted by Cambodia, in which the leaders of 20 Asian governments and 30 European states participated.

The delegation of the Islamic Emirate is meeting with the representatives of the US and European countries on Nov 27th and 29th this month in the Gulf state of Qatar

According to the foreign ministry, the reopening of the embassies would be part of the negotiations in the meeting.

The ASEM summit mainly focused on cooperation, interest and engagement between Europa
...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum...
and Asia.

The European and Asian leaders exchanged views on the Covid-19 outbreak and economic issues.

"For more than 25 years, the Asia-Europe Meeting has been the most comprehensive partnership forum between Asia and Europe. It has helped us tackle some of the big challenges of the day," Leyen was quoted by the European Commission in a blurb. "In the years to come, this partnership will be even more important to recover from the pandemic. Together, we need to rebuild a more sustainable and equitable world, and we need to strengthen multilateralism. Because Asia and Europe are closely connected and together, we have significant weight in the world."

Two dead, five injured in Manbij car explosion
[Rudaw] Two people, including a child, were killed and five others were maimed in a car explosion in Manbij, in Syria’s north Aleppo province on Saturday.

"A woman and a child were killed" and five others were maimed, including two members of the National Defense forces, when a car went kaboom!, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported.

Manbij Military Council called it a "terrorist bombing."

Three women were among the maimed and taken to hospital for treatment, according to Hawar News Agency.

No group has immediately grabbed credit.

Manbij borders areas controlled by Ottoman Turkish-backed Syrian militias.

Previous explosions and suicide kabooms in Manbij have either been claimed by Islamic State (ISIS) or blamed on the group. ISIS continues to "operate across rural areas of Iraq and Syria as a well-entrenched, low-level insurgency," the Pentagon stated in its latest report on anti-ISIS operations.

Report reveals massive violations in school meals in Dagestan
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[KavkazUzel] The requirements for the quality and safety of food and ready-made meals in school canteens in Dagestan are systematically violated, the perpetrators were fined 8.5 million rubles, Rospotrebnadzor reported. The Accounts Chamber called on the deputies of the republican parliament to increase spending on food for schoolchildren.

For ten months of this year, the Rospotrebnadzor Administration for Dagestan carried out 994 inspections of the organization of hot meals for schoolchildren, as well as the work of suppliers and food operators.

It turned out that the requirements for the quality and safety of products and ready meals are often not met. The conditions of storage, transportation and sale of products are not systematically observed, employees of the catering units often do not undergo the necessary medical examinations.

A total of 2,193 protocols on administrative offenses, 197 protocols were drawn up against food organizers.

"The total amount of the fine was more than 8.5 million rubles. 68 orders were issued to dismiss employees who did not undergo a full medical examination. Also, 371 orders were issued to eliminate the causes and conditions that contributed to the commission of an administrative offense," the republican administration quoted on November 26 Rospotrebnadzor "Draft."

As the "Caucasian Knot" has reported, in February in the Khunzakh region of Dagestan, 30 schoolchildren turned to doctors with signs of poisoning, three of them were hospitalized. This became the basis for initiating a criminal case.

At the same time, the draft budget of Dagestan for 2022 includes insufficient funds for food for schoolchildren, as well as for the purchase of textbooks, the organization of summer vacations for children, the chairman of the Accounts Chamber of Dagestan Bilal Jakhbarov pointed out in the parliament of the republic.

During the first reading of the draft budget, he proposed to increase these expenditure items at the expense of existing reserves, the People's Assembly of Dagestan reported on November 25 on its website.

The draft budget also does not plan expenditures on strengthening the material and technical base and overhauling of educational institutions, it is not taken into account that debt has accumulated for textbooks supplied to schools, and the library fund of schools needs to be updated, Jakhbarov noted. He also pointed out the problem of providing food for children under three years of age who are registered in medical organizations and need dry mixes, cereals, juices and purees.

"Our analysis of budget allocations showed that the planned expenditures on financing certain issues are not sufficient. In particular, only 250 million rubles are planned to be allocated for providing children under three years of age. rubles," quoted today the head of the Accounts Chamber of Dagestan.

group, were serving life sentences at the Taji penitentiary north of Baghdad, the security services said in a statement.

They were spotted as they tried to break out of jail by climbing over an external wall, the statement said.

Guards opened fire "when they refused to heed warnings", it said, adding one prisoner was killed while the two others "surrendered".

"The three bully boyz had been sentenced to life in jail," the statement said without identifying them.

After the demise of IS in Iraq, courts in the country have sentenced hundreds to death for crimes perpetrated by the jihadists.

Only a small proportion of the sentences have been carried out, as they must be approved by the president.

Barham Saleh, who has held the post since 2018, is known to be against capital punishment.

Arctic Sea Freezes Early, Trapping 18 Ships in Ice Near Russia
[LI] AlGore around?
Fresh off of a post-climate-conference high, MSNBC decided to dedicate a post to all the iconic landmarks around the world that could be lost due to global warming.

These include Easter Island and Australia’s Great Barrier Reef.

As global temperature continues to rise, bringing with it a slew of freak effects from flooding and drought to wildfires and heatwaves, many of the world’s most stunning landmarks are under threat. We take a look at the incredible ecosystems, national parks and cherished places hanging in the balance.

Yet there is more evidence that what is occurring is related to solar energy output than SUV’s. I have noted before, the Sun has likely entered into the modern Grand Solar Minimum (2020—2053) of sunspot activity. This means that there will be a significant reduction of solar magnetic field and activity like during Maunder minimum leading to a noticeable reduction of terrestrial temperature.

This theory better aligns with the record-breaking cold in the Antarctic as well as the early freeze in the Arctic that just stranded 18 ships.

At least 18 ships are stuck in Arctic sea ice off the coast of Russia after an unexpected early freeze took shipping companies by surprise. Some could be stranded for months as they wait for icebreakers to reach them.

In recent years warmer weather triggered by climate change has allowed ships to cross parts of Russia’s northern sea route in November without the help of icebreakers. Ship owners had assumed this month would be no different.

However, ice up to 30cm thick has already formed across most of the Laptev Sea and East Siberian seas, according to the Barents Sea Observer, a Norwegian news site.

The plight of the ships, which are stuck in five different locations, will raise concerns in Moscow, where the Kremlin has invested heavily in the northern sea route as climate change opens up the Europe to Asia shipping passage.
Particularly interesting, given that it’s recently been discovered that due to Atlantification, where warmer, saltier water from the Atlantic ocean has been infiltrating Arctic waters, the Arctic ocean started warming decades earlier than previously assumed — yet another factor not included in climate model calculations.

Knife attacker known extremist: Tunisia's interior ministry
More on this story from yesterday.
[AlAhram] Tunisia's Interior Ministry has said that a man who attempted to attack security officials in central Tunis was a known Death Eater.

The 31-year-old man previously studied abroad and is on a list of Takfiri
...an adherent of takfir wal hijra, an offshoot of Salafism that regards everybody who doesn't agree with them as apostates who must be killed...
s, an Death Eater group that views other Moslems or certain groups as apostates, according to a statement released late Friday on the ministry's Facebook page.

Local media reports that the man is from Monastir, an affluent coastal town 160 kilometers (100 miles) south of Tunis. The suspect hasn't been officially named.

Video from the scene that circulated on social media shows a bearded man walking up and down Habib Bourguiba Avenue, Tunis' central thoroughfare, carrying a long knife and an ax. The man then heads towards the Interior Ministry, chased by a group of men in civilian clothing, and jumps the barriers that surround the building. Video footage then shows chaos break out as the man runs at coppers while swinging his weapons before a volley of shots is fired.

The attack began after coppers noticed the individual carrying a large bag walking on the avenue and asked him for his ID. The man reportedly took out a large knife and tried to attack anyone who approached him. After he was chased along the avenue by security agents and civilians, the man jumped over the ministry's barriers.

"He was repeatedly asked to surrender and throw down what he had, but he continued to confront all those who approached him, brandishing a big knife and chanting, "Oh tyrant, God is the greatest, you infidels,'' reads the statement.

A security officer then shot the man, reportedly in the legs, and the man was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Iraq
Iraq second biggest customer for Iran’s increased exports
[Rudaw] Iran’s exports in the past eight months increased by 40 percent in dollar value compared to the same period last year with Iraq coming second on the list of countries importing goods from the Islamic Theocratic Republic, according to official customs data released on Saturday.

The director general of Iran’s customs office, Mehdi Mirasharfi, on Saturday told Iranian state media that his country has increased its exports in the past eight months by 40 percent, noting that petrochemical products were the main export, accounting for 43 percent of total exports, by value.

China was the top importer of Iranian goods, largely buying petrochemicals.

"The five major export destinations of Iranian goods are China... worth $9.1 billion, Iraq... worth $6.1 billion," followed by The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the occupiers of Greek Asia Minor...
, the United Arab Emirates, and Afghanistan, state media quoted Mirasharfi as saying.

Iran’s economy and trade shrank drastically under the coronavirus (aka COVID19 or Chinese Plague)
...the twenty first century equivalent of bubonic plague, only instead of killing off a third of the population of Europe it kills 3.4 percent of those who notice they have it. It seems to be fond of the elderly, especially Iranian politicians and holy men...
pandemic and United States sanctions, but it has begun to improve. "Iran’s economy witnessed a moderate recovery in 2020/21 following more than two years of recession," the World Bank reported last month, crediting COVID measures and rebounding oil production. The bank predicts "modest" growth.

Iraq’s main purchases from its neighbor are agricultural products, engineering services, construction materials, and energy, such as electricity and natural gas. Baghdad has received waivers from Washington allowing it to buy Iranian electricity and natural gas.

Earlier this year, Iran
...Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979...
said they had exported $11 billion worth of food and agricultural products to Iraq in five years. In 2019, Iraq accounted for around $9 billion of Iran’s $12.5 billion in exports.

Travel and trade between the neighbours was hard hit by the coronavirus. Iran fast became the regional epicenter and one of the world’s worst-hit countries by the pandemic after recording its first case in Qom in February of last year. As cases of infection began to seep into Iraq - many of which were people who had returned from Iran - Baghdad began restricting travel, shutting its five main border crossings with its eastern neighbor in mid-March 2020. The Kurdistan Region at times closed its border to tourists, though trade continued normally.

On Holodomor Remembrance Day activists toppled NKVD monument
From a Facebook posting by Rodion Shovkoshytnyi:
In 1932, the Bolsheviks came to my great-grandfather. He was detained, a woman with 6 children thrown into the snow and frost. The house he built himself was taken under the silrad, all the property was confiscated.

In 1932-33 only in a few Cossack villages of Peryaslav-Khmelnytsky district in the Kyiv region 38 Silkyošitnih died. Our closest relatives are Shili. 13 were killed that year. Relatives along the women's lines with Katrech and Zakharchenko lost about as much. About a hundred I mean. How many were killed 1921-22 - there are no statistics. In 1946-47 also unknown.

227 Regiment NKVD had a place of deployment Kiev and Kiev region. In 1939-1941 this regiment carried out the guard and convoy of Polish prisoners of war after Stalin attacked Poland. And also carried out the deportation of individual population groups from Ukrainian territories, security prisons and warehouses.

Ck Včk, Ck, OGPU, NKVD - made criminal decisions, gave criminal orders, followed them. This is without exaggerating the law of the Ukrainian people.

This monument was supposed to be demolished before November 21, 2015. He falls under decommunization. Instead, here on May 9, flowers are carried by the local authorities and former berkuta from Brovary.
Today, on the day of remembrance of the victims of Holodomor, caring citizens destroyed this xyin ю. I'm proud to have seen it in person: it's personal to me.

On the way back, three of our crews were detained by the police, but that's the details. I would like to encourage caring citizens to organize in groups and conduct decommunization on their own settlements.

Here's a map ( http://decommunize.kharkiv.ua/
) choose your nearest red and wear it in memory of your relatives.

This is not complicated at all.

Thank you to everyone involved. And don't forget to light a memory candle today.

The Future of the Marine Corps Is a Stand-In Force
by Caleb Larson

[TheNationalInterest] General David H. Berger, the United States’ top Marine, has guided the Corps through some of the most radical change it has experienced in a generation as the United States looks to the east and an increasingly assertive, belligerent China.

Gone are the long, grinding land warfare campaigns in the Middle East and COIN (counter-insurgency) operations. In its stead is a Marine Corps returning to its amphibious heritage, one foraged in the Pacific fighting the Japanese Empire during World War II.

This message was emphasized, again by Gen. Berger, in his message to the Marine Corps on their 246th anniversary.

In a recent paper published in Proceedings, a monthly magazine housed by the United States Naval Institute, Berger explains more concretely what the Corps’ transition and transformation mean for Marines, highlighting Stand-In-Forces.

Stand-In-Forces
"Small, lethal, low signature, and mobile, stand-in forces (SIF) are relatively simple to maintain and sustain, designed to operate across the competition continuum within a contested area as the leading edge of a maritime defense-in-depth," Gen. Berger explained.

"Depending on the situation, SIF may include elements from the Marine Corps, Navy, Coast Guard, special operations forces, interagency forces, and allies and partners. This last element is the most critical: every aspect of these deployments must be carried out in close partnership with host nations and partners."

"The main ideas behind the SIF concept are deceptively simple. First, find a potential adversary’s people and things (such as weapon systems, sensor systems, submarines, etc.) in a given area, and then track them at a level that facilitates targeting by fleet or joint weapons until they leave that area," Gen. Berger’s paper explains.

"Next, SIF must be hard for a potential adversary to find by maintaining a low signature, moving frequently and unpredictably, and using deception. If armed conflict begins, use knowledge of the adversary to help the fleet or other elements of the joint force attack quickly and effectively, blind the adversary, and deny him maritime areas to disrupt his plans and force him to move into other places where SIF and the fleet have an advantage," Berger continues.

How did 10% of passengers to Holland from South Africa arrive with Covid when they all had NEGATIVE tests? Alarm as suspected cases of Omicron are reported in Germany, Australia and Czech Republic alongside confirmed UK and Belgium cases

"The two cases are linked and there is a connection with travel to southern Africa," he tweeted.

#1  Useful details about the Omicron variant are rare in the media, just the usual hype and we'reallgoingtodie stuff.
Here's a recent link with some of the science associated with Omicron.
From it:
We are particularly interested in mutations that could do any of the following:
[1] Increase transmissibility;
[2] Escape our vaccines or infection-induced immunity; and/or
[3] Increase severity (hospitalization or death).

IMNSHO, only [3] matters. [2] omits natural immunity -- illustrated by people neither vaccinated nor previously infected by COVID who stubbornly refused to catch it.
The author of this piece implied travel bans are completely useless. This makes zero sense to me.

#2  Americans panic over Omicron Saturday 11/27/2021

Posted by: M. Murcek || 11/28/2021 1:07 Comments || Top||

#3  Another article which might be of interest.
Most useful point in this article is "There have been a series of variants that have caused initial alarm, only to prove largely unimportant in the course of the pandemic."
That statement will most likely never appear in the MSM about Omicron or any other variant.

#4  Closing lines of this story from ZH today:

It has been pointed out that “Omicron” is an anagram of “moronic”.

One wonders if that’s deliberate and they’re making fun of us.

Good Find....
And by extrapolation other twists to the story emerged.....

moronic adjective
Synonyms & Antonyms of moronic
as in stupid, dumb

dumb, idiotic (also idiotical), stupid
brash, graceless, ill-advised, imprudent, inadvisable, indelicate, indiscreet, injudicious, tactless, undiplomatic, unwise heedless, inconsiderate, mindless, thoughtless
ill-mannered, improper, inappropriate, indecorous, unbecoming, uncivil, unseemly foolish, harebrained, nonsensical, preposterous, senseless, silly

Moron is a term once used in psychology and psychiatry to denote mild intellectual disability. The term was closely tied with the American eugenics movement. Once the term became popularized, it fell out of use by the psychological community, as it was used more commonly as an insult than as a psychological term. It is similar to imbecile and idiot.

Here's an anagram fer ye:

Does it sound like $$$$$ money changed hands along the way? Or is Spreading into the EU and UK also part of the Goal?

I guess they never heard of SEALING THE BORDERS to all Human traffic to avoid further spread???

BTW: regarding the Biden Handlers banning flights in from X # of African Countries.

Obtaining Fake Passports from neighboring non-banned countries only takes a few days and at a lot less than the cost of a cheap local Plane Ticket.

Iraq
Hundreds of Kurdish migrants arrive in Erbil from Belarus
[Rudaw] Hundreds of migrants colonists from across the Kurdistan Region arrived in Erbil early Saturday morning in the fourth repatriation flight organized by both the Kurdish and Iraqi governments. A fifth flight is scheduled to land later in the day.

A flight carrying about 400 migrants colonists arrived in the Kurdish capital at 5:00 am.

"We will return another 400 people who have been stranded on [the] Belarus-Poland border tomorrow [Saturday]," Jotiar Adil, spokesperson for the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), said in a tweet late Friday.

Another flight, which is expected to land in the upcoming hours, will carry about 430 Iraqi and Kurdish migrants colonists, spokesperson for Iraq’s Foreign Ministry Ahmed al-Sahaf said on Friday.

At least 8,000 Kurds have traveled to Belarus with the help of Kurdish smugglers, attempting to gain access to western Europe, which has fortified itself against the wave of migration and accused Minsk of luring desperate migrants colonists to the border in protest of sanctions.

The migrants colonists, stuck on the frontier between Polish and Belarusian forces, were fenced in with no food or water and fearing for their lives as temperatures drop.

"It is all a tragedy ... the police of that country [Belarus] uses you only, its nothing else," a Kurdish migrant from Ranya told Rudaw’s Ranja Jamal at Erbil International Airport as his little daughter surrounded him.

Another migrant spoke of the violence faced on the border.

"The Lithuanian police electrocuted me for an hour and 20 minutes. The Belarus police put their foot on my friend and drowned him in the water," Burhan Mohammed told Rudaw’s Payam Sabrast from the airport.

Another friend of Mohammed’s was taken by the Lithuanian forces. "We don’t know what happened to that friend until this minute," he said.

Iraq began registering its nationals in Belarus and offering flights home for those who are willing to return earlier this month. Two flights landed in Erbil in the early hours of Friday. The first flight repatriated 430 Iraqi and Kurdish migrants colonists.

The exodus of Kurds is part of a migrant crisis that has led European nations to fortify their borders. Tensions are high between Belarus and Europe. Minsk has been accused of exploiting the migrants colonists and using them as a pressure tactic against the European Union
...the successor to the Holy Roman Empire, only without the Hapsburgs and the nifty uniforms and the dancing...
in answer to sanctions. Poland has refused to take in any migrants colonists, instead calling on them to return home. At least 13 people have died on the Belarus-Poland border.

Another 27 people, who are believed to be mostly Kurdish, including three children, died in the deadliest migrant boat tragedy between La Belle France and the United Kingdom on Wednesday night. Baran Hamadamin, 24, who was on her way to reunite with her fiancé in the UK was among those who drowned.

-Lurid Crime Tales-
Up to 30 conduct Black Friday robbery at Best Buy in Burnsville
[STARTRIBUNE] A group of 20 to 30 people grabbed numerous electronic items Friday evening at the Best Buy store in Burnsville and quickly fled before police could arrive.

No weapons were seen in the caper and no one was reported injured, Burnsville police Capt. Don Stenger said. No one had been arrested as of Saturday morning.

"We don't know exactly what was taken or the dollar value," Stenger said.

The robbery occurred shortly after 8 p.m. on Black Friday, one of the busiest shopping days of the year following the Thanksgiving holiday. There were unconfirmed media reports that a similar robbery conducted by a smaller group also happened Friday at the Best Buy in Maplewood.

The incidents resemble a number of mass robberies recently reported across the United States, where groups of people "swarm" a store, clear the shelves of goods and then flee.

#5  ... after Boebert offered an apology which I knew these jihadists would not accept from any infidel. Omar married an infidel white guy, because she wasn't about to live married to a Sharia practicing Muslim male which would make her a piece of property instead of a human being. But that was after being elected by Muslims so now she has to find a way back into their good graces for re-election.

They both waste our time and money, produce nothing worthwhile, and would be fired for lack of production at any other job. They both behave like 8yr olds on the playground and distract constituents with this crap instead of doing something worthwhile. Both should be voted out.

Apparently you miss RINOs such as McCain, Boehner, Paul Ryan who were constantly kissing Pelosi and Obama's (currently serving as our third term President) arse!
