New Zealand: Massey University's Queer Fat Studies Lecturer and ‘Fatlicious Feminist' Dies Suddenly in Her Sleep at 42
[GP] New Zealand — Dr. Cat Pausé, a Massey University ’fat studies’ lecturer died suddenly in her sleep this weekend.
suffocated under her Bingo Wings?
Cat Pausé’s work focused on the impacts of "fat stigma" and made it her life’s mission to spread ’body positivity’ and health at every size.

Dr. Pausé, 42, described herself and her mission in her Twitter bio: "Fatlicious. Feminist. Glorifying obesity since ’09. Tearing down white supremacy w/my fat fingers. Friend of Marilyn pod. Sociology, Public Health, Fat Studies"

#5  They could be legitimate threats by wacko racists, fake threats by wacko racists or racist-ish types, or false flag threats by Smollet/Sharpton types. Statistics of late suggest the latter, but if I trusted the FBI I would at least agree with pursuing investigation of the other possibilities.

However, many of these bomb threats turned out to be suspected attention seeking hoaxes acording to some local paper / media reports.

Regarding FBI in general... I am still of the mind set there only few ROUGE agents and they hold the higher level positions. There needs to be a serious house cleaning in ALL Federal Agencies of subversives, political agenda focsed staff and anti-USA Staff.

House GOP pushes Wray for transparency on FBI misconduct in probing politicians, religious groups, journalists
[FoxNews] Rep. Andy Biggs, R-Ariz., contends Democrats have a stake in digging for more details about the FBI breaking its own rules to probe elected officials, political candidates, religious organizations and the news media.

The FBI conducted an internal audit, a highly redacted version of which came to light earlier this month, that found 747 "compliance errors" across 353 separate cases in the category of "sensitive investigative matters." The bureau acknowledged the 2019 audit findings were "unacceptable."

While the FBI has faced increased scrutiny in recent years for alleged politicized investigations into former President Donald Trump, the problems apparently are much broader and likely go beyond the report, said Biggs, a member of the House Judiciary Committee.

"It possibly includes information about the surveillance of candidate Trump and later President Trump. But this is almost 750 compliance problems in 350 cases," Biggs told Fox News. "The next step is to call on the committee to have a hearing on this. If I was in the majority, I would want to get to the bottom of this. I suspect this conduct goes back for multiple administrations and has been an ongoing problem affecting members of both parties."

Biggs signed onto a March 21 letter with the House Judiciary Committee’s ranking member Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, and Rep. Mike Johnson, R-La., to FBI Director Christopher Wray requesting an unredacted copy of the report, documents referring to or relating to the audit, an explanation of whether the FBI resolved the matters and a description of the FBI’s predicate to open investigations into politicians, religious groups and others named in the audit.

Biggs said, as of Thursday, he has not received a response to the letter of inquiry.

He added that if the Democratic-controlled House doesn’t investigate the matter and is unwilling to compel production of documents and testimony from the FBI, then a new Republican House majority will be ready to investigate and hold hearings in 2023.

Navy Christens Another Guided-Missile Destroyer Headed for San Diego
[SanDiegoTimes] The Navy on Saturday christened its 73rd Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer, a 9,500-ton warship named for a World War II Marine hero and headed to San Diego.

The future USS Jack H. Lucas honors a 17-year-old private who fell on two grenades during the Iwo Jima campaign to protect nearby Marines. Lucas survived the blasts, received the Medal of Honor and lived until 2008.

Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Michael Gilday delivered the principal address as the christening took place at Huntington Ingalls Shipbuilding on the Gulf of Mexico in Pascagoula, MS.

In a time-honored Navy tradition, the ship’s sponsors, Lucas’ widow Ruby Lucas and nonprofit leader Catherine B. Reynolds, christened the ship by breaking a bottle of sparkling wine across the bow.

The ship is the first of 20 advanced "Flight III" destroyers under contract. Among the upgrades compared to previous Arleigh Burke destroyers is special radar to allow the ship to shoot down ballistic missiles.

The destroyers are armed with a 5″ main canon, anti-antiaircraft guns, 96 missiles of various types in vertical launch tubes, torpedoes and two helicopters.

Trump levels blistering attack on Democrats, Jackson: ‘A party that's unwilling to admit that men and women are biologically different should not be anywhere near the levers of power’
[JustTheNews] Sounding ever more a candidate seeking the White House again, former President Donald Trump on Saturday night attacked Democrats as a party of “socialists and communists” so extreme that they chose a Supreme Court nominee who “can't even say what a woman is.”

“A party that's unwilling to admit that men and women are biologically different in defiance of all scientific and human history is a party that should not be anywhere near the levers of power in the United States," Trump told a raucous rally in rural Georgia.

In a 90-minute speech, Trump also rallied Republicans to get behind gubernatorial candidate David Perdue and football star-turned-Senate candidate Herschel Walker and to defeat incumbent GOP Gov. Brian Kemp.

“Before we can defeat the Democrat socialists and communists, which is exactly what we’re running against at the ballot box this fall, we first have to defeat the RINO sellouts and the losers in the primaries this spring,” the former president said, using his favorite acronym for Republicans in Name Only.

Trump’s speech was far-reaching, touching on everything from the transgender movement’s push for biological males to compete against females to Vladimir Putin, who he said was “smart” but made a major miscalculation invading Ukraine.

"That's a hell of a way to negotiate, put 200,000 troops on the border," Trump said of Putin. "That was a big mistake, but it looked like a great negotiation. That didn't work out too well for him."

But America’s 45th president saved some of his sharpest words for President Biden’s Supreme Court nominee, Judge Kentanji Brown Jackson, seizing on a moment in her confirmation hearing where she declined Sen. Marsha Blackburn’s request to give a definition of a woman.

"The left has become so extreme that we now have a justice being nominated to the Supreme Court who testified under oath that she could not say what a woman is," Trump ssid. "If she can't even say what a woman is. How on earth can she be trusted to say what the Constitution is?"

Surprise! CDC Data Shows That Vaccinated Children Aged 5-11 Are Now More Likely to Catch Covid Than Their Unvaccinated Peers
[GatewayPundit] According to the latest data from the US Center for Disease Control (CDC), the Covid infection rate among vaccinated children aged 5-11 is now higher than it is among their unvaccinated peers for the first time since the data started being collected.

The flip has been in the making for months, as the infection rate for vaccinated children has been creeping closer to the rate of unvaccinated cases for quite some time, eventually surpassing the latter in the week ending on Feb 19th.

Despite a meteoric drop-off in cases — over 10× in just a month — the vaccinated case rate lept above the case rate for the unvaccinated.

The swine flu vaccine was pulled after approximately 50 deaths. Why not the spike shot? Follow the money.

Blinken walks back Biden remark, says US isn't calling for Russian regime change
Hours after President Joe Biden said Russian President Vladimir Putin "cannot remain in power," Secretary of State Antony Blinken made clear the United States does not have a plan for regime change in Russia.

"I think the president, the White House, made the point last night that, quite simply, President Putin cannot be empowered to wage war or engage in aggression against Ukraine or anyone else," Blinken said Sunday during a press conference in Jerusalem.

"As you know, and as you have heard us say repeatedly, we do not have a strategy of regime change in Russia or anywhere else, for that matter," he said.

Julianne Smith, U.S. ambassador to NATO, also reaffirmed Sunday that the U.S. is not pursuing regime change in Russia.

Gates: ‘You Can Get Used to The Taste Difference’
[GatewayPundit] "Eventually, that green premium is modest enough that you can sort of change the [behavior of] people or use regulation to totally shift the demand," Gates said. "So for meat in the middle-income-and-above countries, I do think it’s possible."

From Gates’ interview with Technology Review, via The Hill:

"I do think all rich countries should move to 100% synthetic beef," Gates said when asked about how countries can help to reduce methane emissions when it comes to food production. "You can get used to the taste difference, and the claim is they’re going to make it taste even better over time.

"To help combat methane emissions produced by livestock." "Eventually, that green premium is modest enough that you can sort of change the [behavior of] people or use regulation to totally shift the demand," Gates said. "So for meat in the middle-income-and-above countries, I do think it’s possible."

Around 234 slates fought it out in 50 cities including Ramallah, Hebron, and Jenin. Another 23 municipalities saw a single list running unopposed, according to Paleostinian elections chief Hanna Nasser.

Head of Ben-Gurion University says school uncovered Islamist cell operating ‘modesty patrols’
[IsraelTimes] The head of Ben-Gurion University of the Negev says an Islamist cell that operated "modesty patrols" and threatened students has been uncovered at the school in Beersheba.

According to Prof. Daniel Chamovitz, the group was made up of three people who "photographed female Bedouin students and sent the pictures back to their clans if they were not modest enough."

"How did we discover this? Because they complained," he says during a cultural event in the southern city. "It’s a complicated situation societally because they can’t complain publicly."

"Just as there are modesty patrols in Mea Shearim that if there’s a Haredi man or woman not behaving properly, they threaten them," he says, adding the group also photographed male Bedouin students.

"They threaten to send the photos if they don’t change their behavior."

Chamovitz says the school "dealt with" the issue, but refuses to say whether the members of the cell still study at the university.

He also says that when the university learned about the cell, "we were startled, Jews and Arabs both."

Maksym Kozytskyy says police found the man had recorded a rocket flying toward the target and striking it. Police also found on his telephone photos of checkpoints in the region, which Kozytskyy says had been sent to two Russian telephone numbers.

Rockets hit an oil storage facility and an unspecified industrial facility, wounding at least five people. A thick plume of smoke and towering flames could be seen on Lviv’s outskirts hours after the attacks.

#1  I believe they may have captured an FO (forward observer).

Saying nothing about his being captured and exploiting his mission, phone, contact times and voice, might have been a more prudent approach. You can be reasonably certain he would have cooperated.

Converted to Islam and sold: How radicals are trapping gullible women in Kerala
[OneIndia] Writer-director Sudipto Sen said recently that nearly 32,000 girls from Kerala and Mangaluru from Hindu and Christian families have been converted to Islam. Many of them have been trafficked to the Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
and other Islamic war zones in the past 10 years. Most of them end up in Syria, Afghanistan or such countries he added.

Last week, it was announced that movie called The Kerala Story by Vipul Amrutlal Shah and Sudipto Sen is in the making and will be released soon.

The issue had been brought to light by the National Commission for Women Chairperson, Rekha Sharma in 2017 when she said that the situation is Kerala is alarming as it is not just religious conversion but also organised human trafficking that is taking place. I have asked the DGP of the state to look into the role of some organizations, their source of funding as these are playing a big role in forceful conversions, she also said.

It is a terrible problem and has been going on for long an official tells OneIndia. At an adult held in Pathanamthitta in 2019, a 26 year girl narrated her story on how she was faced to join the Islamic State. She said when she refused, she was tortured.

In 2018, the National Investigation Agency had arrested one Muhammad Riyaz on the ground that he was forcibly trying to covert his wife. It was also alleged that he was planning to sell her off as a sex slave.

The plight of many girls in Kerala who have been subject to conversions and then trying to be sold off as sex slaves is quite similar to what the Yazidi women faced at the hands of the Islamic State.

Laila Khoudeida, secretary of the Yazidi Organisation who also works to provide mental and behavioural health services to the distraught Yazidis in an exclusive conversation with OneIndia had said scores of Yazidis had been killed by the ISIS. The ISIS termed the Yazidis as Devil worshippers and many women had been taken as sex slaves. The issue of the women has to also be treated as a special and unique case that requires immediate medical attention. A comprehensive psychological evaluation is important to be completed on each female victim of sexual violence and rape so as to prevent the risk of suicide attempts, she had said.

Last July, the Assam police revealed a larger plot when it learnt that several girls from the state were being trafficked to Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala. The police while naming Muzzaful Haque and Rakbul Hussain as the main accused also managed to rescue several victims from a lodge in Kerala.

In an 8,000 page chargesheet filed by the NIA against Areeb Majeed who returned from the crutches of the ISIS, the agency while quoting him said, Indians are treated as sex slaves.

As Sen pointed out even Christian girls in Kerala have been subject to the same torture. In 2012, the Global Council of Indian Christians had warned Christians about this growing problem. The Commission for Social Harmony and Vigilance of the Kerala Catholic Bishops Council reported that there had been been around 2,868 victims of forcible conversion in Kerala between 2006 and 2009.

The National Commission for Minorities had written to the Union Government stating that Christians were soft targets for Islamic gunnies in Kerala.

6 terrorists involved in Anarkali blast killed during exchange of fire in Sibi: ISPR
[Dawn] A soldier was martyred and six terrorists, who were linked to the blast in Lahore's Anarkali area on January 20, were killed during an exchange of fire in the general area of Nagao Mountains in Balochistan
...the Pak province bordering Kandahar and Uruzgun provinces in Afghanistan and Sistan Baluchistan in Iran. Its native Baloch propulation is being displaced by Pashtuns and Punjabis and they aren't happy about it...
's Sibi, the military's media affairs wing said on Saturday.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces had launched an operation to apprehend Lions of Islam in Nagao Mountains after receiving information about their presence in the area.

"Once the troops started [a] clearance operation in the area, [the] Lions of Islam tried to escape from their hideout and opened fire on security forces," the ISPR said in a statement.

Six Balochistan Nationalist Army terrorists, including Naseebullah Bangalzai alias Jahangir, Pir Jan and Rakai Kalhoi, were killed in the ensuing exchange of fire, the ISPR said, adding they were involved in recent "security incidents" in Sibbi and linked to the blast in Lahore's Anarkali area on January 20.

Three people were killed and over 30 injured in the Anarkali blast, which law enforcement agencies had initially declared a gas cylinder explosion. But later investigations had confirmed that it was a kaboom

During the operation in Turbat, "a valiant son of the soil, Sepoy Nisar embraced shahadat (martyrdom) while another two soldiers got injured", the ISPR said.

According to the ISPR, arms and ammunition were seized from the Lions of Islam that they intended to use for "disrupting peace and security in the area".

"Security forces, in step with the nation, remain determined to thwart attempts at sabotaging peace, stability and progress of Balochistan," the ISPR said.

Earlier this month, security forces had killed seven Lions of Islam in Turbat's Gorchop area in Balochistan during an intelligence-based operation.

Lack of funds threatening WFP operations in Afghanistan
[Khaama] Send us money
United Nations World Food Program has said that they keep providing food for people in Afghanistan but lack of funds is threatening their operations in the country.

WFP in a Twitter post said still half of the Afghan population-23 million people- need emergency food assistance.

"Every day, WFP convoys are on the road- through snow and in freezing temperature- to bring food to people across Afghanistan." Reads the Tweet.

This is the first time the UN aid agency is complaining about the dearth of money for providing food in Afghanistan as 97 percent of people in Afghanistan are under the poverty line and in desperate need of assistance.

20:06 Guys from the Off-Road Club of Donbass take ou twounded children from Mariupol. The family came under sniper fire from the nationalists. So Azov "escorts" the civilians of the city.

19:47 People's militia of the LPR continues evacuation of civilians from the city of Rubezhnoye.

19:45 At the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine captured in Marinka, not only the flag of the Right Sector (the organization is banned in the Russian Federation), but also stripes with the flags of Canada and Great Britain were found. By words Izvestia correspondent Valentin Trushnin, this indicates the involvement of foreign mercenaries.

19:44 Basurin: In Mariupol, a group of Ukrainian nationalists has been driven out of residential areas and blocked on the territory of the Azovstal plant. For the Nazis, this is the end, given that the perimeter of the plant is blocked by units of the Russian Army and the forces of the DPR.

19:40 Shelling was recorded from the side of the VFU in the direction: n.p. Krasnogorovka - Donetsk (settlement of the Trudovskaya mine): six mines fired with a caliber of 120mm - STsKK.

19:05 In the Petrovsky district, the private sector suffered as a result of shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The fire was fired from the side of Maryinka, the BM-21 GRAD MLRS systems were used.

19:00 Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the LPR took under protection the Luhansk TPP, which is a strategically important infrastructure facility in the energy sector. Earlier, the Ukrainian side argued that the Lugansk TPP does not belong to paramilitary facilities, the finds on the territory of the TPP say something else:
  • - 6 shots for RPG;

  • - 6 jet boosters СР-91;

  • - 324 shots VOG-30;

  • - 656 rounds of 14.5 mm caliber.

In addition, ammunition with foreign markings was found, which once again indicates the presence of foreign weapons in the VFU.

18:36 DPR Special Forces working on the perimeter of Azov-Stal. Today, the @wargonzo project managed to almost come close to the territory of the Azovstal enterprise, where militants from the Azov battalion settled down. Neo-Nazis still hold a few adjoining high-rise buildings, but in general, the perimeter of the plant has already been taken under the control of the People's Militia of the DPR and the Russian Armed Forces. Our special forces have only a few buildings left to clear, which the Nazis have made their outpost.

18:25 Shelling from the side of the VFU was recorded in the following directions: n.p. Trinity - n.p. Ozeryanovka: 58 AGS grenades fired; n.p. Novgorodskoye - n.p. Zheleznaya Beam: 25 AGS grenades were fired, small arms were also used.

17:41 On the operational line of the JCCC DPR, information was received from the Ministry of Health of the DPR about the wounding of twelve civilians, including four children, from the previously liberated part of Mariupol.

17:31 Residents of Mariupol talk about how Ukrainian nationalists fired at them: “This is hell, Azov was shooting at us, I personally saw it.”

17:12 “We gave birth to women, and then lowered them into the basements” - Tatiana Bolyuk, junior nurse at the maternity hospital in Volnovakha tells about how she and her colleagues worked while the UAF used the city as a battlefield. And her mother, who lives nearby, talks about how Ukrainian tanks “drove around the hospital” and hid behind her building, hiding from return fire.

16:49 They are coming to Mariupolcolorsfor residential areas. It is hard for the Russian military to clear the territory from the Nazis, since there may be civilians in the houses. The Azov people do not enter into open battle, they use the tactics of using the residential area as a cover.

16:33 Russian military caught Ukrainian commander - deputy chief of staff of the Ukrainian 503 Separate Naval Infantry Battalion, who tried to leave Mariupol. According to him, their battalion broke up into groups, the rest of the team tried to get out of the encirclement about two days ago.

15:17 Conduct a thorough searches of columns leaving Mariupol. Apparently, they are looking for the runaway mayor of the city. Previously, several Nazis from Azov managed to escape from the city in a similar way, it became known after the cowardly Nazis began to brag on social networks, posting photos that they had left in ambulances and in hearses under the bodies of corpses. Most likely now all columns will be so carefully checked. None of the Azov terrorists will leave the city again.

14:45 As a result of the shelling of the Gorlovsky village of Zaitsevo from the side of the VFU, a house fire was recorded along Poletaeva Street - the head of the city of Prikhodko.

14:31 “Ukrainian armed formations daily carry out artillery strikes on the infrastructure of Pervomaisk. There is an extermination of the inhabitants of the LNR, a genocide is taking place, they (the Armed Forces of Ukraine) are driven into a corner like rats and are trying to do as much harm as possible, ”said officer of the LPR representation in the JCCC Viktor Matveev.

14:28 Ukrainian punisher in Dmitrievka shot a civilian from a machine gun, trying to steal a car.

“25 years old boy. In Dmitrievka, he was bringing us firewood and water to the basement in his car. And some wandering Ukrainian soldier jumped out and hit the car with a machine gun.” About it told resident of the village of Donskoye Alexander.

“We could barely take them to Donetsk. A vertebra was broken, two lungs were shot through. Just screwed up. He probably wanted to run away from the village.

Currently, there are battles for Maryinka, Novomikhailovka and Novobakhmutovka. Measures are being taken to clean up Verkhnetoretsky.

14:26 APU attacked Horlivka. Artillery of Ukrainian militants smashed houses along Velikan Street in the Central City District of Gorlovka.

14:25 “Kill them on the spot. No capture! Women who came under fire from the Armed Forces of Pervomaisk told what kind of reception awaits the captured soldiers in the city. “Idiots! Don't feel sorry for anyone. Let them bring them here. Our May Day women will give for children, and they will give for everyone,” added a resident of the city.

14:10 "When will this end, you scum!" A resident of Pervomaisky about the brutal shelling of the peaceful sector by the Armed Forces of Ukraine: “In 14, my wife, daughter and granddaughter were killed. They put three. For what? That's horrible", -added Man.

Ex-Prime Minister of Ukraine revealed the plan of Western intelligence services against Russian-speakers
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[RIA Novosti] In recent years, the Kiev authorities have been consistently implementing the plan of Western intelligence services to resettle nationalist-minded residents of Western Ukraine to the Russian-speaking regions of the country, ex-Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said in an interview with the Ukraina.ru portal.

Thus, Kiev and the West sought to weaken pro-Russian sentiment in the southeast of the country.

"After the coup d'état, the implementation of a special program of Western intelligence services for the resettlement of Bandera, Nazis, in the eastern lands of Ukraine began. This has never happened in Kharkov! How many neo-Nazi groups are now in Kharkov.

<...> The entire Southeast! Odessa! Odessa has never there were so many Bandera neo-Nazis," Azarov said.

He also noted that the placement of combat positions of nationalist formations in residential buildings in Mariupol shows that the radicals consider this city a stranger to them.

#1  And yet, it was Russian speaking Ukrainians who put up the strongest defense. Investigating and doxxing saboteurs, intercepting chatter, negotiating with Russian troops to give up and run off, creating disinformation to be sent to the commanders that got them trapped and killed.

How many problems would not exist in the world if 'western intelligence services' just admitted they were not intelligent? I will make a list in my spare time.

Ikran Tahil's mother: MP Amina's murder was pre-meditated
[Garowe] Qali Mohamud Gulad, the mother of slain National Intelligence Security Agency [NISA] cyber security chief Ikran Tahil, now says the death of Amina Mohammed Abdi, an MP from HirShabelle, was intelligently planned and executed by state actors.

Amina Mohammed, a candidate for a third-term Member of Parliament, was killed in Beledweyne town in HirShabelle on Wednesday night in a suicide explosion to which al-Shabaab
...... the personification of Somali state failure...
has taken responsibility. HirShabelle President Ali Gudlawe Hussein said over 50 people died in the attack.

But according to Qali Mohamud, the slain politician was targeted in the attack, noting that it was carefully planned by the people who were trailing her. She insists the MP bore the price of fighting for justice of her daughter, whose death caused ripples in Somalia last year.

Ikran Tahil went missing in June 2021 but her employer, NISA, would later say she was kidnapped and subsequently, executed by al-Shabaab hard boys. However,
if you can't say something nice about a person some juicy gossip will go well...
the Somalia-based al-Qaeda linked group denied the allegations.
No, no! Certainly not!
And Abdi, 32, who died on Wednesday, joined Tahil's family in calling for justice both inside and outside parliament. The family directly accused Fahad Yasin and four other senior intelligence officials of allegedly being responsible for the NISA agent's death.

So fragile was Tahil's death that Prime Minister Mohammed Hussein Roble sacked NISA boss Fahad Yasin, leading to a fierce confrontation between him and Farmaajo. The outgoing president would later reinstate Yasin as his National Security Advisor.

The death of the MP has also sparked outrage in Somalia, with former Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud calling for an international probe while former HirShabelle leader Mohammed Abdi Waare terming it as an "liquidation" by Villa Somalia. However,
if you can't say something nice about a person some juicy gossip will go well...
Farmaajo termed it as a "terrorist" attack.

"A girl was away from us at first, but now our other daughter has been killed. Everyone who spoke out against the Ikraan case is being pursued," she said, adding that she offered her condolences to the victims.

Wednesday's explosions at Beledweyne town in the Hiraan region also leftover 108 people injured. Hours earlier, another attack at Aden Adde International Airport in Mogadishu left close to 10 people dead, and al-Shabaab had taken responsibility.

Late Amina Mohammed Abdi and former parliamentarian Hassan Ali Abdi Dhuhul were buried in Mogadishu on Friday.

Terror attacks have intensified in the Horn of Africa nation despite assurance by security forces that security had been heightened to allow the country to hold peaceful elections. Somalia is yet to conclude elections, over a year later after the tenure of Farmaajo expired.

Biden On Food Shortages: ‘It's Going To Be Real'
[DailyWire] On Thursday, President Joe Biden took questions from the press in Brussels, Belgium, after meeting with the G-7 alliance to discuss the Western world’s response to Russia’s continued invasion of Ukraine. Biden confirmed speculation that food shortages caused by the war in Ukraine are going to impact much of the world in the year ahead.

“It’s going to be real,” Biden said at the news conference in reference to food shortages. “The price of the sanctions is not just imposed upon Russia. It’s imposed upon an awful lot of countries as well, including European countries and our country as well.”

At the same time, “fertilizer prices have also seen more than their fair share of volatility as the war in Ukraine disrupts supply chains and alters demand,” he added.

“Russia, which supplies roughly ten percent of all fertilizer for American farmers, no longer allows such exports to the United States,” which adds to the problem, Phillips explained.

#12  #9 That is a question from hell, and I sure don't have an answer. But if we had a rational government the first thing it would do is to preserve (or reestablish) our ability to determine who enters and who dosn't.

#13  What do you think is going to happen in Paris and Chicago and Brussels when there’s not enough food?

Well, the riche in those places will either leave (they can afford to and will always be welcome somewhere with their money) or stick it out to the extent that's possible. The bulk of the urban populace will do what? Leave on foot? Thumb a ride? Catch a bus or train? To where? When the SHTF you can bet non-urban areas will suddenly rediscover the joys and necessities of stringent anti-vagrancy laws. And it won't matter if the local political class and LE authorities are woke. If they want to remain in their positions, they will quickly discover that responsiveness to the demands of their constituents are hard to insulate themselves from.

#14  the first thing it would do is to preserve (or reestablish) our ability to determine who enters and who dosn't.

How do you suppose the Open Society types, WEF types and gerbalists will respond to that? We'll hear a lot of caterwauling about how preventing unregulated migration across borders is rayciss and so forth. Will we see, for example, blue helmeted UN "peace-keepers" breaching border fences or engaging in fire fights with border patrols? How long would the UN be able to remain headquartered in NYC if we had a US gummint that didn't dig that sort of activity?
Posted by: M. Murcek || 03/27/2022 13:00 Comments || Top||

#15  The complete fencing of the border with Mexico seems an imperative now. In the pre-Reagan era, the USBP actually had use of force protocols that included deadly force to stop suspected illegals, though rarely needed or used. The volume of entrants not caught was small enough that interior enforcement by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement held serious incursion numbers in check. Today, when enforcement is actually used at all, its mostly tackle football, if anything. It has become a flood of millions a year now, and they are filling urban areas to overflow, with rural spill over growing rapidly, visit any food bank, school cafeteria feeding large families or emergency room to see the proof of it. Since even non-lethal force at the border is almost impossible to contemplate in current political realities, only the physical barrier offers any immediate hope of preserving what is left of American sovereignty. We are rapidly being bled dry of remaining wealth by tolerance beyond all reason by demokrat elites who have no concept of real privation or want. But it is coming, hard, if they dominate our political system much longer.

#16  Putting his descent into end-stage Trump derangement syndrome aside, George Will made one incisive observation back in the day: Leftists see history as a ratchet rather than as a cycle or pendulum. Leftist aims, once achieved, can never be undone. That is why the left is on an obsessive mission to erase history. The past does not exist, only the deeply flawed and unjust present and the Glorious Utopian Future™ that only leftist policies can provide. What they do not bargain for is a future that involves a descent into a new dark age, Heinlein's "bad luck" or a spin of the cycle or swing of the pendulum that brings the exact opposite of what the left desires. We got a taste of it with Trump and given the right circumstances could get a bigger taste of it again. Imagine the diametric opposite of open borders, a legal system run for the benefit of criminals and rampant wokeness. Unlikely? Don't bet on it.

Mullah Baradar Calls for Afghan Self-Sufficiency
[TOLO] "Send us money Endeavor to Persevere"
First Deputy Prime Minister Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar said that the aid provided by international donors will alleviate urgent needs for a short period of time, but said that the ministries must work toward self-sufficiency.

Speaking at a ceremony held to celebrate the National Day of Farmers in the capital city of Kabul, Mullah Baradar said that a new agricultural plan will come into effect in the near future which will also benefit half of the Afghan population.

The new plan will pave the way "for irrigation of half of Afghanistan," he said.

"We must work day and night and immediately bring a system that makes Afghans self-sufficient," Mullah Baradar added.

The acting Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock, Abdul Rahman Rashid, vowed that they have been empowered to prevent many land seizers from seizing the government lands.

The ceremony included an exhibition of Afghan-made products, where various types of products were displayed.

The exhibition was also attended by Afghan women who displayed their products.

"Our business has been broken. Our business has collapsed. Now, with this exhibition, we hope our business will get better," said Farishta Hashimi, a participant.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock, around 75 percent of Afghans are making their income through agriculture.

#1  Amusing. Back to the State of Nature. Many small communities manage it. Some islanders and deep forest denizens too who like to be secluded from civilization. But that is not the objective.

The world is stupid today. Spinners and hustlers out of Londonabad will keep bombarding the world with news of how their money can make a difference until someone pays. Following which a steady channel may be established to 'support' Afghanistan's struggle with poverty.

Andropov should have finished off Afghanistan with two nuclear bombs. Islamic terrorism would have never been discovered. The natives were going to be miserable anyway. 9/11 may never have happened.

Islamic terrorism goes back to the Prophet Mohammad and the Four Rightly Guided Caliphs who followed him. It is commanded in the Koran as the method of jihad to most quickly bring unbelievers to surrender and conversion.

Frmr. State Dept. Analyst: Regime Change Biden Goes Nuts
[SupermacroSubstack] Just when you thought that Washington couldn’t possibly concoct a worse foreign policy, President Joe Biden rose to the challenge—abetted by the Beltway uniparty. Democrats and Republicans alike seem to share the goal of putting America last.

On Saturday, in a speech in Poland, Biden said that Russian President Vladimir Putin “cannot remain in power.” For the first time since Congress passed the Iraq Liberation Act of 1998 and George W. Bush invaded Iraq to depose Saddam Hussein five years later, regime change is once again apparently U.S. policy.

This step is only the latest act of self-indulgent, imperious stupidity by Biden and the Harvard Kennedy School glee club running our foreign policy. A year ago, Biden blithely called Putin a “killer.” This month his administration accused Putin of being a war criminal. And now Biden is purporting to direct who can govern Russia.

Not since the Ottomans issued grandiose and widely ignored proclamations from the Sublime Porte in the last days of Constantinople has imperium been so pretentious and pathetic.

He's to be pitied. His brain is decrepit. He does not understand that the art of negotiation requires carrots and sticks: Richard Nixon understood this well. For poor braindead Joe Biden there is no stick and no carrot, only words. So many words: "Killer!" "War criminal!" "Bad person!"

#3  J.D. Vance, on Twitter:

"Joe Biden went to Europe and advocated for a nuclear power's regime change, and then 10 minutes later his own White House had to contradict him. Seems like a big deal."

For sure. How much longer will they allow this cretin to utter such dangerous nonsense? Gag him and lock him in the attic before he does any more damage

#4  AP reports (via Twitter) that "After President Joe Biden declared that Russian President Vladimir Putin "cannot remain in power," a White House official asserted that the U.S. leader was "not discussing Putin’s power in Russia or regime change."

What kind of government operates like this? The head of state calls for regime change, and then his subordinates loudly and publicly contradict him. This is truly dangerous. The US needs to climb down and stop making these foolish and irresponsible pronouncements.

#5  Joseph Marionette Biden. He just says stuff. He doesn't have any real power. None of them do. The last guy thought he had power and you know where it got him. So they put a tool in office who needs notes and is led by the elbow to his meets.

When commissariats cut out the electorates and assume control of all decisions, the face of the party does not matter. Removing him requires them to find another flexible geriatric first. The disorganised nature of the Washington DC power structure was the problem. It was too representative. The Democrats have now solved it.

#6  This is the third time in the last few days that the American president made a reckless, outrageously provocative policy statement which his top aides were forced to walk back. He said he'd put US troops in combat in Ukraine -- triggering WW III. He said he'd use chemical weapons. He's pledged to overthrow Putin as if he were CornPop.

And every time, his advisers jumped in and said that this degenerate somehow meant the OPPOSITE of what he plainly said

#8  All excellent comments and all are accurate. Biden, Graham, the late McShame, and others in Washington are simply parroting the Deep State (DS) "regime change" process they've come to know and love. They are not in charge of anything, they are simply handmaidens of the DS.

They're the crooked cops, pretending to protect us from the evil doer's while pocketing graft and kickbacks for themselves.

By the way, they treat enemies of the DS, both foreign and domestic in the same manner. The 2020 presidential election is a good example of their regime change handiwork.

#10  This Christian Whiton substack writer is brilliant. His diagnosis of Washington's insane obsession with regime change is very accurate:

"Biden and his enablers in both parties are being driven by the discredited fantasy that they can install neoliberalism and wokeness abroad, and that American power and money are limitless. Catastrophic failures in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, and Syria apparently haven’t given pause to the woke crusaders.

In fact, Ukraine has developed into something of their last stand. Quintessential globalist Anne Applebaum put it plainly in an article in The Atlantic: “Ukraine Must Win.” No amount of killing and destruction around the world will deter her quest:
“That goal [in Ukraine] should not be a truce, or a muddle, or a decision to maintain some kind of Ukrainian resistance over the next decade…”

Only elusive victory will do, damn the cost of people, money, or risk to America. Prolonging the war and subjecting Americans to the risk of a nuclear exchange with Russia for someone else’s dispute is worth not having to admit one’s world view is wrong.

If the globalists can snatch victory from the jaws of defeat in their outpost of empire in Ukraine, which they tried to tilt westward through a successful coup in 2014, then the hundreds of thousands of corpses from their failed interventions and nation-building experiments won’t look so bad, or so they reason.
Posted by: Squinty Schwarzeneggar3170 || 03/27/2022 8:55 Comments || Top||

#11  That pretty well sums it up. Explains why Biden is doing everything wrong, in ways that are contrary to American interests. He's deliberately prolonging the war when it's in our interest to end it. He's punishing the entire world with self-destructive sanctions that are just screwing over Americans and taking the US economy. He's causing powerful nations all over the world to dump dollars, find ways to trade with Russia, and making them determined to bring an end to the dollar's reserve currency status.

Only some bizarre quasi-religious higher goal could possibly justify such an extreme spectacle of self-destruction. Washington's obsession with "regime change" for Unwoke Leaders We Don't Like explains this well.

Prolonging the war and subjecting Americans to the risk of a nuclear exchange with Russia for someone else’s dispute is worth not having to admit one’s world view is wrong.

#26  President Putin and the White House team fronted by President Biden both fully expected Ukraine to collapse within a few days. So did the cognoscenti running most of Europe.

So they were all comfortable talking tough on the assumption that they were not going to have to back it up.

Now they’re all in the distinctly uncomfortable and exposed position resulting from the fact that the Ukrainians are much tougher than predicted. Despite the deep corruption of Ukrainian politics and general society typical of former Soviet and Third World countries — including Mother Russia herself — the Ukrainians have thoroughly bloodied the Russian nose, and shown they’ll probably be ungovernable if the Russians don’t give up their quixotic quest to reestablish the Russian empire.

Whether or not Vladimir Putin is overthrown over this, President Biden will not be — that’s not how Americans do things. Hopefully the Republicans will take control of both Houses of Congress following the election in November, and continue the trend of adding more legislative seats and executive positions across the country at the state and local level. As an aside, note that Putin is now age 70, so his odds are poor of still running things in 2035.

#28  if the Russians don’t give up their quixotic quest to reestablish the Russian empire.

This is the flimsiest of all the straw man arguments put forth by the West's clueless analysts. There's no evidence whatsoever that this was ever Putin's goal. He stated clearly he wanted to destroy Ukraine's usefulness to NATO -- first, to "demilitarize ", Ukraine that is to render it neutral, and bomb the hell out of it ("wreck Ukraine" as John Mearsheimer says) so that it's now a basket case broken nation a la Palestine.

Second, to destroy the hold of the Ukrainian paramilitaries and shock troops on the Russian-speaking Donbas region. That's what Putin means by "de-Nazify": destroy the paramilitaries ie Azov, Praviy Sektor and the other neo-Nazi or far right military groups that have terrorized the Donbas for eight years.

Putin has achieved both of these goals. The Ukrainians have conceded in western interviews that Putin has won the south and completed his "land bridge" across Azov all the way to Crimea.

Putin never set out to "conquer" Ukraine or "restore the Soviet Union." These myths are just another example of how badly the US has fucked up its handling of this matter.

It's only ignorant and self-absorbed Americans who have failed to see that this is essentially a civil war that was triggered by the Obama administration's cynical coup plotters, Pyatt and Nuland née Nudelman. Like all civil wars it was always going to be ferociously fought tooth and nail, with horrific civilian deaths, on both sides. The "restore the USSR" narrative is embarrassingly stupid bullshit

I've read that before, thanks. It's totally consistent with my point. You actually misinterpreted it.

The subject of that extremely literate and well-informed discussion is not the territories that correspond the the former Soviet Union. He is focused on "the southwestern lands of the Russian Empire" only, ie what are traditionally known as "Little Russia" and "Novorossiya, Crimea."

In other words, that document understand less my point exactly. He was NOT interested in "restoring the USSR." He was totally focused on defining the relationship to Russian history of those particular "southwestern lands."

And note the specific emphasis on Crimea and Novorossiya. Crimea was restored in full to Russian control in 2014, and Novorossiya has now been restored to Russian control control the last month's campaign.

Thanks for proving my point.

#36  You really should read it more carefully. It's exceptionally balanced, moderate and well-argued. Here are three paragraphs that show how utterly misguided and destructive America's meddling in Ukraine in the Obama-Nudelman era was:

"Ukraine and Russia have been developing as a single economic system for decades, centuries. The depth of cooperation that we had 30 years ago could be the envy of the EU countries today. We are natural, mutually complementary economic partners.

"Such a close relationship is capable of enhancing competitive advantages and increasing the potential of both countries. And it was significant in Ukraine, it included a powerful infrastructure, a gas transportation system, advanced shipbuilding, aircraft construction, rocketry, instrument making, scientific, design, and engineering schools of the world level.

"Having received such a legacy, the leaders of Ukraine, declaring their independence, promised that the Ukrainian economy would become one of the leading, and the standard of living of people one of the highest in Europe.

He then describes the complete devastation Nd degradation of Ukraine during the period of gross corruption, plundering and manipulation by Ukrainian 'oligarchs,' their puppets like Zelensky, and American neocon conspirators and carpetbaggers:

"Today, industrial high-tech giants, which were once proud of both Ukraine and the whole country, lie on their [backs]. Over the past 10 years, the output of mechanical engineering products has fallen by 42 percent.

"The scale of de-industrialization and, in general, the degradation of the economy can be seen in such an indicator as the generation of electricity, which has almost halved in Ukraine over 30 years. And finally, according to the IMF, in 2019, even before the coronavirus epidemic, the level of per capita GDP in Ukraine was less than 4 thousand dollars. This is below the Republic of Albania, the Republic of Moldova and the unrecognized Kosovo. Ukraine is now the poorest country in Europe.."

I agree with the first sentence.

So, let me simplify it, so my feeble mind can comprehend:

Barky and his Barkettes fomented a coup in Ukraine in 2014. Russia moved to preserve his Black Sea Naval base in Crimea by taking over Crimea, and as a prelude to this war, sent FSB operatives and others to stir up a separate coup, and a subsequent civil war.

[BenarNews] Troops killed a top-ranking Abu Sayyaf
...also known as al-Harakat al-Islamiyya, an Islamist terror group based in Jolo, Basilan and Zamboanga. Since its inception in the early 1990s, the group has carried out bombings, kidnappings, murders, head choppings, and extortion in their uniquely Islamic attempt to set up an independent Moslem province in the Philippines. Abu Sayyaf forces probably number less than 300 cadres. The group is closely allied with remnants of Indonesia's Jemaah Islamiya and has loose ties with MILF and MNLF who sometimes provide cannon fodder...

Not a single company, bank, or university has joined the effort. Those who have attempted even a semblance of a boycott (like Ben & Jerry’s recent refusal to sell ice cream in the West Bank), faced immediate backlash, hurried to distance themselves from BDS, and eventually walked back their boycotts. Most US states now have anti-BDS laws on their books, as does Congress. As I show below, even on the most politically active campus in the U.S., students are unfamiliar with BDS, are skeptical about the effectiveness of sanctions, and vehemently reject academic boycotts.

[DW] Bandit attacks using cycle of violences have increased in northwestern Nigeria leading to the loss of lives and properties. The region has a long history of bandidos raiding villages, conducting kidnappings and stealing cattle.

An increasing number of states in Nigeria's northwest have imposed bans on the movement of cycle of violences in an attempt to tackle a recent spate of deadly attacks carried out by criminal gangs known as bandidos.

The armed bandidos typically use cycle of violences to escape after carrying out their attacks, the latest of which was in Kaduna state last Sunday where at least 34 people were killed including two soldiers.

From the Ukrainian perspective: Russian invasion of Ukraine, March 27th, 2022
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Korrespondent] 22:05 Polish Foreign Minister Zbigniew Rau in his article, Russia has declared war on the West. How to win outlined the main steps of the West in the confrontation with the Russian Federation:
  • arm Ukraine "to the teeth" by making Putin's imperial restoration goals unattainable;

  • increase defense investment, including the US should rearm allies and partners, including Ukraine, with the help of a new Lend-Lease program;

  • to increase the number of NATO troops on the eastern flank in Europe;

  • sanctions should be in place until the Russian Federation leaves Ukraine and pays reparations;

  • the perpetrators of military atrocities in Ukraine must be punished.

  • In addition, in his opinion, it is necessary to prepare a plan for the restoration of Ukraine, in particular, at the expense of the assets of Russian oligarchs who financed Putin's aggressive policy.

Putin's invasion stalling because majority of bombs are failing to explode
[YouTube] BLUF: The Telegraph reports that Russian bombs have a 60% failure rate.

More from Red State:
A 60% Dud Rate for Precision-Guided Munitions Explains a Lot of Russia's Problems in Ukraine

One of the staples on social media accounts reporting from Ukraine has been the very high rate of cruise missiles that have failed to detonate.

Problems with fuzing are not unknown. The most famous example of this is the Mark 6 exploder used in the Mark 14 and Mark 15 torpedoes of the US Navy until September 1943. The flaws of the exploder and the torpedo produced a dud rate of over 50% in the standard submarine torpedo. The problem was caused by the Navy weapons designers wanting to avoid the cost of a field trial.

Precision-guided munitions are essential in modern warfare. However,
a person who gets all wrapped up in himself makes a mighty small package...
in Ukraine, the proliferation of air defense systems, particularly MANPADS, has made flight below 10,000 feet very unhealthy. By the same token, dropping gravity bombs from above 10,000 feet, given the skill level of the Russian Air Force, which flew eight hours per month before the war, is not much better than using a trebuchet.

If this report is accurate, it speaks to massive manufacturing and possibly engineering design problems in the Russian arms industry.

Elon Musk sez the US has a 'very, very ancient leadership'
[Bus Insider] Tesla CEO Elon Musk in a recent interview said that the United States has a "very, very ancient leadership" and questioned how leading figures can "stay in touch with the people" if they are several generations removed from most of the population.

The comments from the electric vehicle and clean energy company leader came this week during a conversation with Mathias Döpfner, the CEO of Insider's parent company, Axel Springer, at Tesla's factory in Fremont, California.

Musk spoke about everything from Russian President Vladimir Putin to revelations that he sometimes feels "lonely," but he had pointed criticism for leaders whom he feels are disconnected from their citizenry.

When Musk was asked about humans having "a significantly increased lifespan," he offered a straightforward view about human life.

"I don't think we should try to have people live for a really long time," he told Döpfner. "That it would cause asphyxiation of society because the truth is, most people don't change their mind. They just die."

He continued: "So if they don't die, we will be stuck with old ideas and society wouldn't advance."

Musk then said that a "gerontocracy" — where a government is essentially controlled by citizens significantly older than the bulk of the population — is not healthy.

"I think we already have quite a serious issue with gerontocracy, where the leaders of so many countries are extremely old," he revealed. "In the US, it's a very, very ancient leadership. And it is just impossible to stay in touch with the people if you are many generations older than them."

He added: "The founders of the USA put minimum ages for a local office. But they did not put maximum ages because they did not expect that people will be living so long. They should have. Because for a democracy to function, the leaders must be reasonably in touch with the bulk of the population. And if you're too young or too old, you can't say that you will be attached."

Musk said that he'd like to see political leaders "be ideally within 10 or at least, 20 years of the average age of the population."

He said that while he would like to sustain good health over an extended period of time, he doesn't fear death.

"I am not afraid of dying. I think it would come as a relief," he said in the interview.

Over the course of President Joe Biden's tenure, Musk — who seemed pumped about the administration's push to combat climate change early last year — began to criticize Biden, who is 79, over his failure to include Tesla in the national conversation about electric vehicles.

In January, the billionaire on Twitter blasted Biden as "a damp sock puppet in human form."

Last month, the president during a speech called Tesla the country's "largest electric-vehicle manufacturer" after facing repeated criticism for not acknowledging the company as a leader in the automotive industry.

Dear fellow commentors;
Did you actually understood what you read? The age of average U.S. citizen is 38 point something so translated into plain English, Musk was saying that professional politicians should be "kicked out" of politics and away from the levers of power by the time they are ~60.

Are you really disagreeing with this considering the current clown-show of 60+ geriatrics in DC?

#6  As DeGaulle opined, "The graveyards are full of indispensable men." The problem here is too many of them use the trappings of power to put the graveyard off for too long.

Term limits are all that's really needed, along with a "no lifetime bureaucrats (looking at you, Fauxi) and no family political dynasties" policy enshrined in a special clause of the Constitution that says "this clause is not subject to alteration or removal."

Oh, and reduce the power they wield and the opportunities for graft. You will be surprised how quickly a certain type suddenly gravitates to other pursuits.

#9  No correlation either way between age and effectiveness. Jefferson and Bobby Kennedy were in their 30s; so are Ocasio-Cortex and Swalwell. Franklin, Eisenhiwer, De Gaulle, Reagan were in their advanced old age when they achieved great things; so were Brezhnev and so is our fetid geriatric politburo.

Musk has achieved a lot. Kudos. He's also an exploiter of corporate welfare, a chaotic and nasty boss, a manipulator of markets. I wouldn't trust him or his fellow Silicon Valley overgrown adolescents anywhere near the levers of power.

#10  ^ That's an excellent idea. I also think eliminating full-boat lifetime benefits for those appointed to fill a partial term and then not re-elected would be helpful. I also think when a politician is tossed out (rare, I know) for criminal reasons, the district they serve should do without representation until the next regular election. they can use the time while they have no say in gummint to maybe ponder electing a better class of candidate next time.

He wants yo die? Let the putz drive these Teslas. In the meantime despite my own age I'll still learning from the experience and wisdom of my elders. TW comes to mind.
Check out Karl Pillemer's work on the subject.Lessons for surviving crises, from the wisest among us.

Lithium melts at 180C / 356F, and burns at 2000C / 3632F. A few weeks ago I asked a firefighter friend how they extinguish electric vehicle battery fires.

He said “Oh you mean like a Tesla or something? The answer is you can’t. You cordon off the area, and spray a fine mist of water on the fire to try to keep the temperature down until it finishes burning. Takes a few days until it is safe”.

The problem is, besides being highly flammable, lithium is literally the lightest metal. At atomic number 3, it is the first element in the periodic table which is a solid. The two previous elements, hydrogen and helium, are both gasses.

Lithium is so light, it floats on water (lithium density 0.543, half the density of water). Lithium is entirely happy to blaze away while sitting on the surface of a puddle of water.

So if you try to smother a lithium fire with sand, the sand sinks to the bottom, and the lithium floats on top.

Officials: Taliban blocked unaccompanied women from flights
[AlAhram] Afghanistan's Taliban
...the Pashtun equivalent of men...
rulers refused to allow dozens of women to board several flights, including some overseas, because they were traveling without a male guardian, two Afghan airline officials said Saturday.

The officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity for fear of repercussions from the Taliban, said dozens of women who arrived at Kabul's international airport Friday to board domestic and international flights were told they couldn't do so without a male guardian.

Some of the women were dual nationals returning to their homes overseas, including some from Canada, according to one of the officials. Women were denied boarding on flights to Islamabad, Dubai and The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the occupiers of Greek Asia Minor...
on Kam Air and the state-owned Ariana Airline, said the officials.

The order came from the Taliban leadership, said one official.

By Saturday, some women traveling alone were given permission to board an Ariana Airlines flight to western Herat
...a venerable old Persian-speaking city in western Afghanistan, populated mostly by Tadjiks, which is why it's not as blood-soaked as areas controlled by Pashtuns...
province, the official said. However,
a hangover is the wrath of grapes...
by the time the permission was granted they had missed their flight, he said.

The airport's president and police chief, both from the Taliban movement and both Islamic holy mans, were meeting Saturday with airline officials.

It was still unclear whether the Taliban would exempt air travel from an order issued months ago requiring women traveling more than 45 miles (72 kilometers) to be accompanied by a male relative. Taliban officials contacted by The News Agency that Dare Not be Named did not respond to multiple requests for comment.

Since taking power last August, the Taliban leadership have been squabbling among themselves as they struggle to transition from war to governing. It has pit hard-liners _ like acting Prime Minister Mullah Hasan Akhund, who is deeply rooted in the old guard _ against the more pragmatic among them, like Sirajuddin Haqqani
...son of Pashtun warlord Jalaluddin Haqqani, still titular head of the Haqqani Network....
. He took over leadership of the powerful Haqqani network
...a branch of the Afghan Taliban, based in Pakistain. The network is a family business founded by the later Jalaluddin Haqqani...
from his father Jalaluddin Haqanni. The elder Haqqani, who died several years ago, is from Akhund's generation, who ruled Afghanistan under the strict and unchallenged leadership of Mullah Mohammad Omar.

Women protest against girls' schools' closure in Kabul
[Khaama (Afghanistan)] A small group of women erupted into the streets of Kabul on Saturday, March 26, 2022, to protest against the Taliban
...the Pashtun equivalent of men...
’s announcement banning teenage girls from going to schools.

The female protestors said access to education is an alienable right of humans and girls likewise the rest of the boys in Afghanistan have the right to get educated.

The protestors were chanting, "We are tired of ignorance", "Shame on the international community", "You took my land, don’t take my education", "Seeking education is obligatory on male and female."

The demonstration that was staged at the gate of the Ministry of Education in central Kabul was attended by parents, women activists, females, students, and a few young men.

"Education is our right, I want to go to school to study and make my future and the future of my country. I want to go to school as my brother does." Said a student.

The protestors further said that there are no limitations on female education in other Islamic countries like Iran, Soddy Arabia
...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. When the oil runs out the rest of the world is going to kick sand in the Soddy national face...
, and Indonesia so why should the Afghan girls not go to schools.

The Ministry of Education of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan announced on March 23rd that secondary schools for girls shall be closed until further notice.
Al Ahram adds:
Infuriating many Afghans is the knowledge that many of the Taliban of the younger generation, like Sirajuddin Haqqani, are educating their girls in Pakistain, while in Afghanistan women and girls have been targeted by their repressive edicts since taking power.

This latest assault on women's rights in Taliban-run Afghanistan denying women air travel, comes just days after the all-male religiously driven government broke its promise to allow girls to return to school after the sixth grade.

The move enraged the international community, which has been reluctant to recognize the Taliban-run government since the Taliban swept into power last August, fearing they would revert to their harsh rule of the 1990s. The Taliban's refusal to open up education to all Afghan children also infuriated large swaths of the Afghan population. On Saturday, dozens of girls demonstrated in the Afghan capital demanding the right to go to school.

An Afghan charity called PenPath, which runs dozens of ``secret' schools with thousands of volunteers, is planning to stage countrywide protests to demand the Taliban reverse its order, said Matiullah Wesa, PenPath founder.

U.S. special representative for Afghanistan Tom West canceled meetings with the Taliban at the Doha Forum after classes for older girls were halted.

#8  In Operation Barbarossa the aggressor was Adolf Hitler and NAZI Germany. People who assume the aggressor in the current Ukraine war is Vladimir Putin are, I believe, mistaken. IMHO the war currently raging in Ukraine was started by Barack Obama and his deep state sponsors when they engineered the Maidan coup in 2014 to oust Ukraine's then pro-Russian President Yanukovic. This violent expansion of Western influence triggered a civil war in Ukraine's eastern provinces which was, until recently, being fought on a low level. So, in this respect, the comparison to Operation Barbarossa is apt because the invasion is going from West to East. The comparison is also apt because the Russians are having great difficulty repelling it.

  • Why did Hunter Biden have a large number of Department of Defense encryption codes to allow access to national security data?
  • Did Hunter Biden give anyone else access to this information?
  • Who gave the codes to Hunter Biden?
  • Why do the codes have long-term expiration dates, when the usual practice is to provide a user access only during his ’need to know’, or time in the job, which is usually 2-3 years at most?

We have been informed the Department of Justice has been alerted to the situation.

We have also been informed the DoD has been told of the discovery.
    This story is unconfirmed.

#1  All of those question are quickly answered if you acknowledge the fact that Hunter was an Intelligence Community source or stringer. The Encryption of his communications was essential.

The Hildebeest's mysterious 'home brew' server communications were likely Encrypted as well, which might explain the indifference to the improper or illegal use and transmission of classified data. I don't recall the Hildebeest's servers ever having surfaced. I believe she took care of her cell phones with a hammer.

Two items that are routinely seized in the course of warranted Federal investigations and sweeps are computers and cell phones. The problem here was, Hunter had a computer in the shop.

Nothing will come of this. Nothing ever comes of it. All will be consumed by the memory hole.

#2  Hunter's Beijing-based Chinese joint venture partner was a tool of the Chinese military. (The America-based Chinese partner is in federal prison for bribery and money laundering.)

Hunter's business partner in Kazakhstan was a crony of the ruling family.

In addition to his Burisma loot Hunter received $3.5 million for god knows what from a powerful Russian oligarch.

The man is obsessed with pr0n and had thousands of images and videos involving himself and prostitutes. He is walking kompromat.

Some of the questions these keys raise are:

What year were they issued, was it during OBAMA, Trump, or BIDEN's watch?

Were the keys issued to him, by a _ _ _ agency, or were they issued due to Daddy's request?

Whatever the case it must be treated as a serious Nation Security Breach and officially addressed.

#4  The Bidens are obviously compromised by both the Russians and the Chinese. No wonder Old Man Biden is doing so much damage to US interests.

Think about it: If you wanted to make America weak while pretending to be "tough" on Russia and China, you'd pretend that Trump was a Russian spy and try to hang the Chinese virus around his neck. You'd open the southern border and hand over Kabul to the Taliban.

And if you wanted to weaken America economically and reduce its standing in the world, what better way to do so than to prolong the war, piss off all the powerful non western nations with clumsy sanctions and force Americans to pay higher prices for everything?

Biden and his family have been compromised. Joe Biden is the Manchurian Candidate.

He added that some of the foreign hard boyz arrested were planning to join "Jond Kilafha," a group linked to ISIS in Libya and in the mountains on the Tunisian-Algerian border.

"Attempts of attacks targeting neighboring countries were thwarted and a cell that was planning to stab the interior minister in the south of the country was dismantled," Houssem Eddine Jbebli told news hounds.

The North African nation has been under a state of emergency since 2015, after an assault in which a number of presidential guards were killed.

Tunisian security forces have thwarted most turban plots in recent years and have become more efficient at responding to those attacks that do occur.
    Practice makes perfect.

New Jersey man arrested after 12-year-old nephew dies of fentanyl overdose, officials say
[CBSNEWS] A New Jersey man was arrested for allegedly causing the overdose death of his 12-year-old nephew, the Camden County Prosecutor's Office announced in a blurb. Troy Nokes, 35, is accused of directing the boy to clean drug paraphernalia that contained fentanyl prior to his death.

On January 24, local officials were notified of an unresponsive 12-year-old boy on a school bus. The school's nurse performed "life-saving measures" on the child until EMS arrived on the scene and transported him to a local hospital.

The boy died on February 1, the prosecutor's office said. Medical examiners determined fentanyl intoxication as his cause of death.
