#5 During Carter it wasn't just Iran. The Soviets smelled weakness and supported trouble in Angola, Zambia, Mozambique, Ethipia, Somalia, Afganistan, Nicaragua and El Salvidor. 79 was a big year.

Let's hope things are better this go around.
