#1 Holy smoke!!! When I worked in Saudi in the mid-90s, this was unimaginable.

And in Riyadh! Jeddah was always a bit more open to the world, at least by Saudi standards, but Riyadh was the bulwark of Islam, more Islam, and nothing but Islam.
