#2 He doesn't need to. He can just operate through proxies like he has been doing for decades and get the western part of the Ukraine to break off. Peacekeepers go in then in a year or so absorb it into Russia. The western part is the industrial part and the rest of the Ukraine is losing population so fast it will be de-nuded of people in 70 years.

Putin already has what he wants and making the western powers look like idiots is just icing on the cake.

If I were part of the Ukraine, I'd want to break off. It seems a messed up place, even without the Biden crime family. Ukrainians are voting with their feet, so they apparently think so too.
