#2 AMEN DON! Why for gods sake is France on the Security council? They can't and don't provide security of any kind. Nor do they have the power or economic power to back up any 'security measure' they propose. France OUT, Japan IN!

#3 yes they should get frances seat..the EU should only have one seat..anyways the only reason the frogs have a seat is because of truman not because they were a victor in the wwii as the other 4...

and japan is beginning to stand up and take responsibilities that equals their economic clout...

#4 Just ignore the UNSC and replace it with a new collective security group that would meet regularly in New York to address real security issues with an eye toward actually resolving them. Should include US-Japan-China-India-Russia-South Korea-Indonesia-Australia, also Uk-Fr-Ger, maybe Turkey and Brazil as well.

#5 Japan pays for 20% of the UN's budget. Without more say in the UN, let Japan pay proportionate to it's population, about 2%. The US and Japan alone pay for 45% of the UN. Take our people and money and let us form the core of a free, democratic, and uncorrupt association. Let the UN formally announce what it already is, a dictator's sinecure club. Away with you, and trouble us no more.
