#4 I remember the opening night debut of the late Kansas City Scouts - an expansion NHL entry of the mid 1970's. The crowd was so hungry for action on the ice that when the Zamboni machine appeared it drew a standing ovation!

#5 #4 I recall the Scouts. Became the Colorado Rockies and now are the New Jersey Devils. I liked those ol' KC uniforms.

BTW, Zamboni, inventor of the vehicle, was awarded an honorary degree some years ago by engineering school/Div 1 hockey power Clarkson University.
