#3 Massive Saudi intervention??? How? Are they going to pay massive amounts of money to get someone else to fight for them? I'd guess Paks but when was the last time they won a war?

#5 The Saudi's are doing a premeptive here. If the US bails out a lot of Saudi fanatics will head to Iraq to kill Shia. The Saudi's welcome this as it releaves pressure from the crazies.

Not that it's moral or anything (like that ever stopped the Saud) but the Saudi's should boot out their own Shia population and bus them into Iraq and invite the Iraqi Sunni to join the Magic Kingdom.
