#2 Sea; I think BCAC has not yet shut down the 767 line, but has slowed work until tanker contract is decided. this is to prevent / delay dismantling of tooling and allows them to divert workers to the 787 'travel work' side of the house. i expect that if Airbust wins the tanker contract (whenever the USAF decides to get off their butt and award same) the 767 work will accelerate to fill all orders and free up floor space for the Dreamliner.

#5 Okay, lessirree, the WORLD's GDP via today's Net news is reportedly US$55.0Trilyuhn, of which the USA controls aproxi 25% - BUT-T-T, various Perts including the UNO WORLD BANK had prev calc that the COMBINED US NATIONAL-GLOBAL GDP was approxi anywhere bwtn US$300T-US$900T already???

#6 ICO the USAF, it'll be a long time comin' between Darlene Druyun and now, Riechers tragic and unecessary suicide (aren't most of them?) AF has serious acquisition mgt problems...

However...It does seem, that with a bit of "creativity" they "might" just find a way to restore their self-confidence and our faith in them...
