#2 I suspect that the Left is going to see this threat from Cheney as the beginning of an Armagedon. If they don't destroy him, he may well destroy them. Any past attacks on him, Rove, Bush, Palin, et al, are going to look like kindergarten stuff by comparison. But then, what do I know. I'm just an incurable optimist.

#3 Why would the former vice president care, Richard? He's retired, his various legacies are secure, and I'm sure his taxes were all paid on time and in full. Not to mention that I am quite, quite certain he is both several standard deviations from the mean more intelligent than any of his opponents, but several standard deviations more knowledgeable on any subject said opponents might care to address.
