STATEMENT REGARDING KINDRED HOSPITAL MANSFIELD

Kindred Hospital Mansfield has a great deal of appreciation for the service that many of our employees and their families have given to their country. We honor our veterans and active military through a variety of benefits and service programs. This was an isolated incident between two employees that we are working to resolve amicably. Both employees have family members who have served in the military. The disagreement was over the size of the flag and not what it symbolized. We have invited the employee to put the flag back up. We share their love of country and we appreciate the service of their family members as well as all members of the armed forces.

#6 The supervisor that ordered her to take it down should be fired, she imbarased herself and the parent company. The one who complained needs to go back to Africa. That flag is why they sleep in cool housed with beds, not mats on dirt floors. Tell them both to GFY and be part of this great nation or leave.

#8 In a VERY related note, a news from a french local newspaper - this didn't make national news as far as I know (I don't watch teevee)...

The 9th may, in the city of Orange (Vaucluse, IE, not a big city, though it's HEAVILY islamized, which is why the city briefly had one of the very few national front mayor, who has since quit this party due to the negativeness of its leader, pépé Le Pen), a french couple gets married, and since the newly-wed husband is a middle-aged guy with traditional values, a civilian pilot from a family with a strong military line, the car sport a french flag as they drive from the ceremony to the party.

The flag is spotted by four north africans in a mercedes car, who get mad at the flag, insult them... the situation turns violent as one north african guy tries to rip the flag off and snatch the husband hat - a brawl ensues, which soon turns into a beating, 30 Youths (reinforcements seemingly having been called by the original 4) vs the husband and 3 male relatives, while the women lock themselves in the cars who ends up in the ER.

Funny thing is, the newspaper article casually warns that while the husband's description of the assault might lead to have him "look Racist", it has him telling that no, no, "he's not a Racist", "his best friend is arab", "his wife is african",...

So, a french guy get beaten up by a mob of Youths because he and his family dare to fly a french flag at a wedding in France (whereas algerian , moroccan, turkish,... flags are a sine qua non feature of muslim marriages, curioulsy enuff)... BUT, it's him who HAS to assure the msm (the newspaper is my local rag, by the way, and yep, it's very PC, in an insidious, conformist way) he's not a Racist.

Feel the love.

#10 Update to the original story...

Wednesday morning, however, our story received nationwide attention. We have received hundreds of emails and comments from people who had something to say about it. Several dozen people protested outside the Mansfield hospital Wednesday. And a receptionist at Kindred's headquarters told us they received many phone calls.

Then, late Wednesday morning, Kindred posted on its website a statement about the incident. It reads, in part: "The disagreement was over the size of the flag and not what it symbolized. We have invited the employee to put the flag back up."

We talked to McLucas Wednesday afternoon. She says the hospital's local CEO called and apologized. And McLucas says the woman did tell her she could put the flag back up, which she has done.

But she says when she was first told the flag had to go, nobody mentioned anything about its size.

"At no point was I afforded the opportunity -- [no one said,] 'Hey Deb, could you get a one and a half by three and a half and hang it instead of hanging this three by five?'" McLucas said.

Even so, McLucas says she's happy people have spoken out about the issue. "It's just restored my faith in the American people," she said.

#13 I am upset that someone who lives in the United States of America is upset with the flying of our flag. Does that count with anyone. My outrage at their opinion is juat as heartfelt as theirs.
Am I therefore to be swept under the rug. I should think NOT!!! If their patriotism is that
shallow they should go back to Africa.
