#1 OK, someone has to do this:

"I'm getting tired of these @#$%^&* snakes in my @#$%^&* socks!"

#2 ... after arriving on a ferry from Denmark, newspaper Faedrelandsvennen reported.

You know, just know, some hack is already writing the script for "Snakes on the Ferry" for a SyFy [formally knows as SciFi] Channel Saturday night drivel made for TV movie.

#4 Ah yes, the SyFy channel. New pronunciation, to match the spelling, is Sih'fee. Does anyone remember when it was clever to call the genre Scientifiction?

#5 SyFy stands for "Silly Fantasy!" Never saw any science fiction on that channel.

#6 Robert Heinlein preferred the term "speculative fiction". I agree "SyFy" is stupid, wasn't the change was due to "SciFi" not being a copyright-able name?

#7 If only the asstards would actually write SCIENCE Fiction, I've seen 3 good lately, out of hundreds of slasher and horror movies deliberately mislabeled.

ALIEN Is a prime example, pure slasher.
Even a couple of very good animated
"Robot City" and "WALL-E"
Then a few good ones
"Surrogates"
"I Robot" (Heinlein)
and a remake of "Omega Man"
(hasn't Will Smith turned into a fine actor?)
