#3 Maybe this alloy can be used in place of the aluminum in the new LCS ship whose hull already cracked. /sarc

#5 unique property of being an excellent conductor of electricity, but an insulator for heat....

All metals are good heat conductors having free electron gas. I have my doubts about this statement.

#7 Checked out the web site. They are looking for 2 mil in capital to fund themselves. Here's the product listing from their web site for their sales division href="http://jbitusa.take2pro.net/#">

#9 Hupailing Ebbuns (The Same): Metallic aluminum is highly reactive with oxygen, but it rapidly develops a very thin, protective layer of aluminum oxide, chemically similar to sapphire, which is extremely hard and protects it from further oxidation.

My guess is that they are using some coating on their aluminum that is chemically similar to aluminum oxide and takes its place, is as hard or harder than aluminum oxide, and is also insulating to heat, but conductive to electricity.

N.B.: Diamond is just the opposite, as it is insulating to electricity, but impressively conductive to heat. For this reason, tiny particles of diamond are spray on some silicon chips before they are stacked, so the chips do not overheat, but also do not ground each other.

#12 I've been looking for more info on this company for a while. I had gotten the impression earlier that they were being bought out by another company that also had a lot of processing technology they apparently needed, but that appears to have fallen through.

I wish I knew more about the alloy, but I don't.

If it's patent-protected, I imagine they wouldn't need to be so secretive about it.
