#2 In my synogogue, Mr. wexler gave an Obama defense presentation after kiddush a few weeks ago. It was surprizingly well attended (most people go home after kiddush) but when he finished speaking a lot of people didnt stay for the questions (which were largely hostile). I heard a few people say somethings like "this must be what OJ's lawyers sounded like" or similar comments Of course this is an Orthodox congregation and probably more Republican than most. I attended a conservative congregation in Alex, VA for several years and the rabbi there was a leftist squish.
