#4 A skinhead attack would fit the narrative and thus be prominently featured in national news.

Also there's the strange omission re the content of the verbal confrontation. The second American wasn't hurt and witnessed everything.

The description of the perps isn't really helpful and yet there's nothing in the article concerning their language and/or accents.

The attackers might indeed turn out to be skinheads but the authors of this article (and the editors who buried this in local news) believe otherwise.
