#1 Up to 70,000 critters in tote.

IIRC the Perts have verified that the story of Noah is intrinsically correct as per the scientific requirement for POSSSESSING THE MINIMUM ALLOWABLE GENETIC DIVERSITY IN ORDER TO REPOPULATE OR REBUILD THE POST-FLOOD/DELUGE EARTH.

#2 Avondale is 1834 years behind schedule and 59,000,000 shekels over budget. However this is to be expected in a 1 off transformational class of ark.

#4 In my experience physicists have a very fuzzy view of Biology. Vide the fact that every other year an important physicist publishes a book therein it "demolishes" the Theory of Evolution---the idea of variation followed by selection just doesn't seem to penetrate their rote-memorization shaped little minds.

#5 There's also a lot of economic creationism (marxism) in universities.

#6 The definition of a species (procreation of a viable offspring) was a bit different back then. Little variations in bone or coloring didn't make a new species definition till very recently.

#7 Newfies and Chihuahuas in the same species is kind of a stretch, isn't it?

Who else would say "Consider a spherical camel..."?

#10 It's "consider a spherical elephant" for mathematicians.

#12 Do dung beetles poop?

Only that part of the dung that hasn't been turned into beetle or the energy for scurrying around, Snusort Spomose2148. So naturally there's considerably less physical output than there was physical input.
