#1 I suspect CAIR, et al want to use this to claim greater Muslim numbers. But most Arab Americans are actually Christian, whereas most Muslim Americans are from the Indian subcontinent followed by African Americans (descended from slaves rather than having a Kenyan parent).

#2 Remember when the constitutional census was only to be used for apportionment of Congressional seats and only needed to count citizens?

#4 Rambler, if they get to counting Christians it will be to make a list of who to round up and send to the camps. When it comes to government, I want to be 'counted' as seldom as possible.

#5 Glenmore, IIRC right now about the only thing the Census Bureau is NOT allowed to ask is religion. I really hope it stays that way -for precisely the reason you mentioned.
