#3 I say again that the US Govt-DOD has to be extremely careful about how they respond to Beijing's actions + policies, e.g. SOUTH + EAST CHINA SEAS + TAIWAN, IOR.

China wants its various "strategic access" for the PLA + its Geopol ambitions as a "US-style/par" OWG Co-Superpower. As China has at times = Russia + Iran in blaming the US as the unilateral cause of terror, THIS LAW CAN BE USED OR CONVOLUTED BY CHINA TO "JUSTIFY" OR VALIDATE CHINESE MILACTIONS AGZ THE ALLEGED "TERRORIST USA'S" REGIONAL + GLOBAL INTERESTS.

On the surface, this new law looks overtly "prim-n-proper", but as the saying goes "THE ROAD TO HELL IS PAVED WID GOOD INTENTIONS".
