#2 The get tough approach will only last until a cop shoots someone and then the incident is twisted and lied about by the media and the cops are the bad guys and forced to back down.

#4 After Mosby's antics (of which were one of many,) most of the Baltimore cops either transferred to other departments,or retired, took or left on medical disability, or flat-out quit.

Hence very little surprise at the commissioner being fired, and all the cops getting arrested.

Pugh, Mosby and the rest of their ilk are still around.
