#1 Maybe re-write it as the story of transgendered immigrant being 'stomped on' by white privilege. Should be an instant success. Set in NYC or LA, of course.

#2 Perhaps everyone has forgotten, or the story of a brave, outspoken woman, human rights activist who took on the Victorian establishment simply doesn't fit the contemporary narrative.

#3 This was where Winston Churchill got his start - as a war correspondent who was captured and escaped. Rudyard Kipling and Arthur Conan Doyle were also reporters of that war. His escapades marked the turning point of the war from Dutch to British dominance - whether there was a causal relation is subject to speculation.
