Thanks, B...

#3 The elite are in on this. Or the elite want to be. Many political connections. This is a big money grab. Similar to Solar power or Wind energy. The fix is in. Similar to if Medicare pays for housing. The ones inside pass this on and all benefit handsomely. Willful "cultural blinders". Media; guess what, lies again.

#4 Marijuana a gateway drug? It can be for some. For others, that is the only drug they use. Few people speak of alcohol as a gateway drug.

#5 I find myself having to check articles on here whether they're from the Babylon Bee before commenting.

#6 # 4 anything and everything can and should be considered. It is a narrow path we tread in this life.

#7 You realize, if we institute p*ss tests for voting, California and Colorado are shut out. Probably the rest of the left coast too.

#8 For others, that is the only drug they use.

Most people, most of the time, can use without developing an addiction, moving on to harder drugs, or triggering schizophrenia. The problem is the 10% or so who find out they are succeptible to life-destroying problems when they try the stuff.

Ten percent of 350 million Americans is an awful lot of addicts and psychotics. Reduce to one quarter because plenty of people like me won’t ever touch the stuff — that’s still an awful lot of newly damaged and dangerous people wandering the streets.

#9 I believe freedom means you are allowed to wreck yourself. It's just not up to the rest of us to pick up the pieces. Yes, that means lock addicts up. I'm good with that.

#10 I think users should be off public property until the drug wears off.

If the user has life long effects they stay at the place they took it...

#11  I believe freedom means you are allowed to wreck yourself.

Well, there is that. And, if it feels good, the users wants to keep on feeling good. That's not necessarily an addiction as in you get physically ill if you can't get it.

But, if nothing else, you could call marijuana a gateway drug because it puts users in an environment where hard narcotics are much more readily available and the normal stigmas to the hard narcotics are missing.

Securing the border would help. Then closely inspect all packages that arrive in the mail from China.

#13 I can't drink coffee when it's too hot outside. Don't want caffeine for the sake of caffeine. Those who have to have a jay to get through the day are probably a problem for me if I have to interact with them. Don't want them working on my car, airplane or motorcycle. Don't want them in my hospital room.
