#1 Started in 2003, the Prevent program was a mixed effort by British agencies and concerned groups, including schools and universities to counter radicalization efforts by an increasingly hostile immigrant culture. It began to include Irish extremism, then meandered like everything else in the UK toward that islamophile event horizon, and now claims that there is more 'islamophobic radicalization' in the UK than any other kind. The wonder lies in who the on-ground ' de-radicalizers' and counselors are.

Cases thought to present a real risk of violent extremism are escalated to the most intensive level of Prevent, known as Channel. Counter-terror police receives information from counsellors, social workers or theological mentors all over England. Take Anjum Khan of east Africa, radicalized in India, 'cured', and now a mentor-counselor at Channel, he's one of the Home Office’s most experienced “intervention providers”. Channel's critics are sidelined and called defeatist and the Prevent program has registered a record 1740 cases of right-wing thought-crime radicals, and 419 cases of jihadist radicals last year.

Amrit Singh, a human rights lawyer and head of national security and counter-terrorism at Open Society Foundations says the Home Office has zero solid empirical grounding for its ventures in de-radicalisation, as there is no way to predict who is going to become the next terrorist.

In my view, it has become a project providing a state-funded method for 'educating' unwholesome, embarrassing , 'bloody-machete' jihad and bringing the sasquatches into the legal islamist mainstream, where they can do the quieter, longer lasting work of colonization. Bring 'em in from the rain, tell them to put down the machete, and make them recruiters of more islamists. The projects other edge, for the UK's majoritarian, white nationalist citizens, is less subtle. As in the case of Larner, it targets victims of islam, converts from islam, nationalists and even Brexiteers, keeps a close watch through their school and college overseers, on the views and opinions expressed by children and teachers and even neighbours - to curb 'hate-crime' before it occurs, specifically islamophobic, right-wing crime.
