Elected Mayor 2019. My future Father-in-Law was Mayor of Champaign in the 1968 campus riots, while I was dating his daughter. He instituted a curfew for a few days.

#6 When I lived there in the early 80's it wasn't that bad. But from the looks of the place on my last drive through--worse than Madison, I think.

I do live within less than a day's driving distance and work out of there sometimes, though.

That includes one of my least favorite jobs, having to 'Meet and Greet' political types and try to explain the real world to them.
