#1 Some laws are written to be broken.

#2 Good luck enforcing it.

Also, along with Italy I have found the next wave of exits.

#4 The ruling effectively removes the sovereignty of EU member states to make their own decisions regarding the keeping of public law, order and national security in the case of EU migration policies, if those decisions conflict with EU obligations.

You and who's army? Brussels is Moscow just with better suits.

#6 What's to stop a bloc of countries simply refusing to remit $ to Brussels? You want 'lawless' - give them financial lawless, good and hard.

#7 How do you say "Bite me!" in Eastern European?
Seriously, is the EU trying to commit suicide?

#9 Italy was already giving Brussels the jitters. Now, after all that overwhelming support (sarc) out of the EU to support bella Italia during this CV crisis, I wouldn't be surprised if the calls to leave the EU grow louder. Buona fortuna a tutti!

#10 Imagine the EU breaking up.

I do.

#11 When the EEC (and its prior names/structures) became less a trade/tariff community and more a political union, that is when things really went down hill, especially one essentially run by France and Germany. Surely after the fall of the Soviet Union, eastern European countries were probably eager to "join Western Europe". Psych!
