It sounds like a gimmick. Batteries are heavy and have low energy density compared to liquid fuels. To be cool, this needs to run off a Mr. Fusion.

I guess if you are only going 100 miles with four passengers there is no reason to get above 2000' except to scrape over buildings.

#9 How long does it take to charge the battery pack? A 30 minute flight followed by two hour (+) charging wait?
