#8 I have to say; to theorize in hindsight is easy.

What about the markers of a complete putsch that we can see now, even from oceans away? A re-configuration of race, class and industrial relations into something resembling a banana republic, with China flunkies as leaders. We've seen it done to lesser nations, shitholes with shanties, so the scale is difficult to imagine, but superimpose the model on what's happening. But so called 'lesser evolved' societies have one right which no amount of western theories of legalist propriety have been able to strip them of. They don't capitulate, they fight tooth and nail first.

At what time does the counter-revolution start? Can it start? Who will it hit, with all the 'you can't kill this guy or that girl or this thing'? Are the targets even identified, the 'trained marxists' who coordinate and mobilize? Or will people stop short of waving their fists in faces and stomping around, still trusting in constitutionalism. What was that about the 'tree of liberty... the blood of...'? The less and less liberty in a polity, even to the point of having to hide your affiliations to be safe, means there's just not enough blood flowing.

Forgive me for my ugly questions, you can say 'What's it got to do wit' you?'; but somebody must ask them.
