#4 There's nothing top secret about this. Jinping has stated repeatedly that China must break western control over not only the internet, which is just the medium but also over the ideation process of collective knowledge and sources of information.

And they haven't started this today. They have been 'buying' western academics [also Asian academics], recruiting mass entertainers, infiltrating advertising, news, academia, everything to do with information. Their rationale is: When every source of data will be pro China and anti America, what good will any amount of regulation or diplomatic outrage do? And it has worked. Not as envisioned maybe, but like everything built by China does.

When hope is assaulted by despair and the men are shown floundering, confidence in them wavers and the Left takes care of the rest.

Don't forget politicians, like Biden. If our politicians and business leaders had any guts, China would have been cut off from the Internet from the git go. Nixon and Kissinger knew that Mao was a mass murdering bastard and his henchmen in the CCP are all evil. You can never trust such people to play by the rules or abide by any agreements. We never should have sold them any computers, let alone letting them manufacture all of our computers. I'd like to believe that Nixon wouldn't have gone along with all that but we know that Kissinger has been a primary instigator and promoter of trade with China. If the megalomaniac Xi Jinping is successful in his ambitions it will be the fault of traitors in our country.
