#7 A good bellwether of when a revolution starts in any country is the food prices jumping by 20% or more. Most people can't afford that and it usually is combined with food shortages.

Well right now we have a 17% food cost jump and food shortages. How much longer before some red states say "Enough" and jump?

Besoeker, that's probably within 10% of what the price of crude oil was in 2008 if you take into account 30% worth of inflation.

And between then and now about half the oilfield has been driven out of business with whips and scourges.

#9 /\ Yes, and it goes back to fuel and delivery costs. The higher the fuel costs, the higher the food costs.

A farmer friend of mine reports nitrogen prices which have already doubled. fertilizer up 25% and rising.

Anyone heard anything about those Chinese ships anchored off the California coast? Seem like there's not much being said about it.

(Not that I have a need for anything sitting on any of those ships, at least that I KNOW of.)

Now, Don't think the USG wants to "move the cargo" anytime soon, after all Biden is Xi's boy, and he'll do as he is told by the CCP.
