Many alumni including Nobel prize and Rhodes scholars and now a fully deserved ruined reputation.

#2 Some years back, singer Michelle Shocked (Yeah, I know...) stopped mid-song at a college venue and sobbed that she had to leave the stage because the audience was not diverse enough.

Nothing like that ever happened to me on the Black & Blue Tour. The Black Sabbath and Blue Oyster Cult one. Not the Backstreet Boys one. OK?

Given the present US demographics

Racial and ethnic groups in the United States (2020 Census)
Non-Latino White Americans (57.8%)
Latino Americans (of any race) (18.7%)
Black Americans (12.1%)
Asian Americans (5.9%)
Two or more races (4.1%) some 50% White also
Native Americans (0.7%)
Some other race (0.5%)
Pacific Islander Americans (0.2%)

The 2020 US Census Data, something the Oberlin College newspaper "accidentally" omitted ,shows Whites out number all other races in the USA.

In Fact Oberlin College Demographics
Shows the majority of Oberlin students are White (60+%). So this liberal college in fact has more WHITES than the National average. This Liberal college only has 5.41% Black students 2 times LESS than the National Average?

An it looks like the Oberlin Newspaper staff is/or has been far from racially diverse
