#3 ^ Ha Since I'm an Idahoan, that would be great! Unfortunately, the geology doesn't support that end game. The San Andreas is a right-lateral Strike slip fault rather than a Dip slip fault. In common parlance that means that L.A. will be right next to San Francisco in 10M years rather than plunging into the sea.
