#1 The problem is that if you have a cable TV or satellite package, you're stuck with having CNN as part of the "basic package" and paying for it. Letters to CEOs have proved unavailing.

So maybe I should look into this streaming stuff. Any other suggestions?

#6 How much would you put down there are methods in this digital age to get a fair estimate on numbers; should even be able to figure channels 'just left on' like at airports, even vs. accidentally vs. always on at home. Sounds crazy, but so does Alexa telling kids to stick coins in power outlets...which is actually a good critical thinking exercise.

At this rate the networks will soon be out of business.

This will never be allowed to happen. Soros and his ilk will fund them forever. Plenty of money out there to keep the mainstream media going with no gas in the tank. They are too valuable as propaganda tools.

A 'smart TV' will have a load of streaming selections. Some subscriptions, some with ads.

Of course, it will also monitor and report what you watch.
