We're trending toward Recession if not Depression coupled with food shortages. It wouldn't surprise me if these bastards try to enact Marshall Law if (when) the 2024 election doesn't go their way. I’m not sure how much imploding we’ll see. The unstable places are already in full blown war of all against all, and the rest are pondering the benefits of joining the Abraham Accords to get Israel on their side against Iran as it approaches nuclear capability. Sure there will be hunger, and the drought has already started, but suffering is something they’re accustomed to over there.
