#1

With the Covid-19/22 having about 0.079 of 1% in globally reported deaths. It did not even make a good dent in the overall global population.

It just cleared the world mainly of Older and medically compromised persons.

#2 From the demographic data from multiple sources I've seen, the birthrates are so terrible in most countries the world population will peak around 9 billion mid-century, then slowly drop back to 7 billion in a century after that. There simple aren't enough people to keep the population up.

If global famine and war take hold in the next few years, expect that number to drop even faster.

#3 Only 8 billion? I seems to recall back in the late 70s early 80s that we had already reached over nine billion people on Earth!

was the count off then?

#4 was the count off then?

Is anything counted for political purposes ever counted accurately?

#5 Mother-of-NINE, 36, who's never used contraception spends $2,000 a month on groceries and says she would consider having more children (and she's already a grandmother!)

#6 VICTOR HANSON: The Disappearing American: America is depopulating

It's true that there are more potential parents than ever before. And the American population has soared to over 330 million.

But our population is radically leveling off.

In just 14 years the fertility rate has crashed from 2.12 to 1.64 – meaning that both citizens and resident aliens in America are not replacing themselves.

While past demographic momentum has led to an all-time population high, the United States has already peaked demographically. And it will soon shrink and further age.

Thirty years ago, America had 80 million fewer people, but a quarter-million more annual births.

What explains the disappearing American?

#7 I'm surprised that with the arrival of "men who can get pregnant" hasn't already sustained more population increase.

#8 Fake people in the "metaverse," spending imaginary money on non-existent stuff will solve it all...

#9 Some of it is just people putting things on hold during the uncertainty of the lockdown and the Biden nonsense. There’s a divide in the key age group — one portion avoiding kids altogether while the other portion has three or more.

#10 Is anything counted for political purposes ever counted accurately?

I seriously hope they're not counting the folks who supposedly voted in districts where the vote totals exceeded the population of eligible voters.

#12 End the ridiculous American practice of prolonged adolescence. Replace high schools with trade schools and let those kids grow up normally and naturally. End government sponsored college loans so kids have to grow up and go to work instead of living on the taxpayers' dime. Get inflation under control so moms can stay home. Repeal minimum wage laws so American workers can compete with their counterparts in other countries. Do these things before the lights go out.

#13 Repeal minimum wage laws so American workers can compete with their counterparts in other countries

Why? They're just letting those counterparts in through the border. Simple supply and demand. Excess labor reduces the demand and wages. Those with technical skills, heck no problem, loads of 1HB visas.

#14 "Global fertility is projected to decline... "

Kinda Think ?
Finding significant amounts of Birth Control and other pregnancy inhabiting Medications in 1st and 2nd World water supplies might have something to do with it?

While in still developing 3rd world nations, it is a rarity.
