#5 Baby outgrows mom's ability to produce, mom is unavailable (asleep, sick, out of town, so forth), babysitters/day care, and of course there are the ones who are just inconvenienced by the whole experience (hurts, whatever).

Then there are those who are so biologically toxic with their habits, its probably the safer choice. They may be so intoxicated, they may not even be producing.
